Fantastic experience: I rarely give reviews however Selective Asia deserve one for their outstanding service and knowledge. Put simply. This is how booking holiday should be. Just brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Really well organised, totally professional and helpful all the way! we contacted Selective Asia because some friends have booked to Sri Lanka, so we had a look too. Had an idea about Cambodia being interesting, so we contacted Mr Martin Lake at SA. He was really helpful in guiding in our options etc and we assessed a few ideas for trips to do when we got there. With Martins help we very easily came up with our perfect travel options. As time progressed towards our travel dates, we received regular updates and information about our up-coming trip. At Seim Reap; Our guide, Mr Darlign Srem, was at the airport to meet us, with the driver Pol, and escorted us to the hotel, and he assisted us with check in. Over the next four days everything was brilliant about everything! We were collected on time, and Darlign guided us around numerous temples, markets, floating villages etc - showing us all the must see interesting bits, but allowing us to go at our own speed to absorb everything we saw. At Phnom Penh; Our guide Ms Van Srei Len and Chiang the driver, met us an got us to the hotel. For the next two days Len and Chiang took us around and showed us Phnom Penh at it's best. We left Phnom Penh to travel to Sihanoukville, down on the coast. Mr Chiang drove us there and said he would see us again for the return journey back to the airport. He was there exactly on time - just as he said he would be. Taking everything into account, we thoroughly enjoyed our Cambodian adventure. Fantastic experience: Myanmar was exceptional and I am very glad we went when we did before it gets too ‘touristy’… The magic of the people and their relaxed lifestyle is food for the spirit. I truly hope they continue to plough their fields with oxen and pick the harvest by hand and the monks continue to amuse and enthrall as they attempt to drive themselves on motor cycles (definitely the funniest thing we saw there). If anything stood out that will remain in my memory for ever, it was meeting the local folk in a small village in Bagan and being invited to share in a wedding feast and being thanked by the village ‘elder’ for visiting Myanmar. It was just magical. Sandoway is beautiful without a doubt, and please don’t take my comments as too much of a criticism – a lot of people would thoroughly enjoy the beach and the wonderful hotel gardens. I didn’t realize until I’d been in Yangon, Bagan, Inle Lake and Pindaya that I would have preferred these places to Thandwe. However, you couldn’t have known for me and I couldn’t have known when I booked! I am so very grateful to you and your team for organizing this holiday and am happy for you to use anything I have written in the way of testimonial or direct me to wherever I can write a fresh one. I am SO impressed and look forward to my next Asian holiday with you at some point in the future.

Fantastic experience: Selective Asia organised an absolutely fantastic honeymoon for my wife and I and they now come highly recommended. From the moment of first contact to the trip itself the whole process was exceptionally easy as well as feeling highly personalised. In addition the cost of such a luxury trip including the exceptional service was incredibly reasonable.

Negative experience: Disappointed. We had started the process of booking a trip and agave a deposit. . We realized shortly after that we could not go and have finally requested our deposit back. We were just informed that we would not be getting any money back. It is a small amount $1500. avoid this company unless you are certain that you want to go.

Fantastic experience: Selective Asia organised my very best holiday experience of my life! The whole experience of dealing with this company with their in depth knowledge of this continent, with the contacts they have in my particular experience in Vietnam, leaves you feeling very well looked after, the tours and trips we done were brilliant and if I had to say anything negative it would be only to say that driving to one particular trip from Saigon to Mekong Delta was a long time at 4 hours each way, but that is a very slight gripe because the actual Bassac Overnight Cruise has left me with great memories, highly recommend the Vespa Tours in Hanoi and Saigon, because as nuts as it looks the tour guides are very experienced and although it looks crazy when you are amongst the Trafic everyone drives really quite slow, I did not see one person get angry and all of the horn blowing is just warning other road users of their presence and not done in anger at all! Travelled North Vietnam to East, South and West and what a country this is, with what I can only describe as fabulous people, totally safe and non threatening or hassling, for example I’d be happy for my wife or daughter to walk around at night alone with no fear of them being in any danger at all, and the food was superb, the only bad meal which was not that bad was simply chicken and chips and only ate Vietnamese thereafter! Visit Vietnam for sure and if you want it organised to perfection book with the best Selective Asia call and they will put you in touch with the expert on the particular country in Asia that interests you

Fantastic experience: We've just returned from our wonderful honeymoon in Borneo and Singapore. What a trip! Ed and all the team Selective Asia were wonderful from start to finish and it will be a holiday that we will never forget. Just a couple of our many highlights included watching orang-utans in the wild near the Borneo Rainforest Lodge and cocktails on our first night – what better location then on top of Marina Bay Sands with all of Singapore lit up before us! Amazing! Massive thanks to Ben who really bought Borneo alive for us. We’ve not had many guides before so I can’t say that he’s the best out there, but if all the other guides are even half as good as him we won’t travel without one again!

Fantastic experience: We used Selective Asia to create a family holiday to Vietnam and have to say that it was the best holiday we have ever been on. Whilst I'm not usually one for online reviews, Selective Asia are such a gem of a travel agency that I thought it worth spreading the word. As everyone knows the key to a truly great holiday is to achieve that balance of discovery and adventure with comfort and security and this is something that Selective Asia delivered expertly. They properly know the lie of the land and ensured that our Vietnamese odyssey had just the right mix of adventure and luxury. The only real problem was having to coming home and unfortunately the only real cure to this.... is to book another trip!

Fantastic experience: We went with the whole family to Vietnam with these guys.. They looked after us at every point we needed them and left us when we didn't.. The pace of the whole tour ,that we decided on together ,was immaculate. We had adventure when we wanted it and we had some downtime in paradise too. Vietnam is a stunning country and working out where to go and how long to spend in each place was a tough decision, made a lot easier by people who care and who have clearly experienced at first hand what the country has to offer. I would not hesitate in recommending Selective Asia to anyone.
