Fantastic experience: We have just returned from 17 wonderful days in Canada. Tom in Trailfinders put the most amazing itinerary together for us starting in Vancouver, taking the Rocky Mountaineer to Banff, staying in the iconic Fairmont overlooking Lake Louise and finally spending a few days in Vancouver Island. The itinerary was perfect and every detail had been carefully considered and put in place. Everywhere we went the views were stunning. I can highly recommend using Trailfinders as it took all the stress out of travelling. Special thanks to Tom for his hard work and expertise.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Trailfinders for the best experience ever after just returning from a 2 week holiday in Vietnam. The tour guides were out of this world. Especially Ricky in Hanoi he knew the history and was so helpful in every respect. Tailor made in every sense. Every thing went to plan. Fantastic experience: Fantastic staff who are friendly and incredibly helpful in all aspects of a holiday my might be trying to book. Doesn't matter weather you know what you want or haven't a clue. In my experience they are very close to or will beat prices you can find elsewhere​. I booked a trip to the US crossing the border into Canada, and a snowboarding/skiing trip with them to Canada.

Fantastic experience: Recently back from wonderful trip to Tromso in Norway. Everything was very smooth, all the trips were amazing, saw reindeer and the Northern lights! Fantastic experience: Update We have finished our Dubai trip and are now back home. Just before we due to go my wife hurt her knee, I informed Trailfinders and they ensured assistance was waiting for us at Manchester and Dubai. All went smoothly, we had no issues with our pickup, flights and hotel. Trailfinders were always there for us to other assistance when needed. All in all we could not ask for a better service and would fully recommend Trailfinders for your travel needs, I am no sure if we will make another long distance journey as we did with Dubai, but certainly closer to home as we would like to go back to Paris, Rome and also Iceland to see the Northern Lights. So thank you Trailfinders and Ivan our travel consultant. See you soon Trailfinders. I booked a trip to Dubai in February 23 for January 24, Ivan at Trailfinders came up with a fantastic deal which even undercut Emirates by a few hundred pounds. I had to make a minor adjustment to the seating on Emirates and I wanted to clarify some points, the seating was corrected and the points I asked about were also clarified, all by the next day. So far an excellent service and I can see why they are a Which recommended provider and have 4.9 stars on Trustpilot, although we have not travelled yet I can thoroughly recommend Trailfinders. Once I have completed our trip I will update my review.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience with John today. I only had 15mins to talk to him but he really simplified the process for me and made it really easy whilst being friendly and speedy. 10/10 for customer service - thank you John!

Negative experience: A really disappointing experience, looking at a trip to Oz and had a basic plan of something we thought may work, wanted to price it and see what had been missed or what added value an agent could give. After a short wait, we explained what we were looking for. The first reaction was that someone else can deal with this, but they were busy. So he looked at the plan and gave us a price, but no added value or insights at all. When asked about excursions, weretold yes can be done, all in brochure. Total disinterest, and I can't be bothered with this. Almost why did you come in and bother me. So why would anyone spend their hard earnt money here. Frankly, AVOID.

Since booking with the company (at very reasonable prices for a month long holiday including all flights, car hire and excursions) he had kept in touch and answered any queries we might have. I would have no hesitation in using the company, and especially Tomas, again.

Negative experience: Was served by a rude agent who we felt was rather condescending and disinterested in helping us which was a shame as I was highly recommended Trailfinders. He was showing us overpriced holiday options and when we showed him some cheaper quotes we had received elsewhere, he disregarded this which felt rather patronising considering we had done our research. Altogether feeling rather deflated after this encounter and couldn’t find any positives of this experience unfortunately.

He was able to match a lower price we found which was really impressive, and communication with him was excellent - he always replied quickly. Negative experience: No one answers the phone so you lost £10k business

Negative experience: Went in to ask about safari options for Kenya and spoke Chris Cawthorn. He showed me a brochure and asked me to take a look. He didn’t seem too interested in dealing with me. Didn’t write my details down to follow up. I knew what I wanted to do was interested in getting a quote but if they don’t even get your details to email you with quotes or possible itineraries how can they pride themselves on being good agents?? What is the value of their service? Disappointed with the customer service.

Negative experience: Trailfinders Cambridge had previously been helpful and fantastic at sorting our travel plans. Unfortunately, we have been back twice within the past two months, for two different travel situations, and both times the staff have made us feel that they do not want to help us and their tone was dismissive of our queries. We thought that maybe the first time, we got the staff member on a bad day but after the second time we realised that this is an unfortunate trend within the store. We won't be going back for a third time of ill-treatment.

Fantastic experience: Just popped in to scope out a trip to Mauritius. We were helped a lot by Chris, who was able to provide a lot of great options and information. Very happy with the service... and looking forward to the trip!

Fantastic experience: We have visited the Cambridge office twice over the past couple of days and the service we have received from Chris Cawthorn has been second to none. From changing a holiday due to COVID-19 he went out of his way to put calls in to try to help us. We have asked him to quote us for another big trip next year and we will not go anywhere else. Thank you Chris for your help and time.

Negative experience: I do not recommend TrailFinders for travel insurances. They use Allianz as a travel insurance provider and due to COVID I requested a refund of what I paid for the insurance as I did not travel at all at the end and made zero claims. They refused to do so and kept the full amount I paid. However, if you look on Google you can see Allianz has been refunding at least a 50% of the money paid, therefore, I recommend to just book with Allianz directly.

Fantastic experience: My favourite travel shop. I would not go anywhere else. Everything they do is for me, how I want it and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and are totally on the ball. Long may they thrive.

Fantastic experience: Great travel shop, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff members. I was referred by a lovely lady and their deliverence was up to standard. The two out standing staff members were Georgina Reeves who booked everything for us . Grace Thorpe, who made sure that we were aware of the changes in our flight. Very helpful staff and I would recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We've used trailfinders now for at least 4 of our last 6 big holidays. They know exactly what they are doing and totally understood my wife and I. The flights and accommodation they have booked for us have been spot on and each trip gas gone smoothly. Whenever I am booking a holiday this is the first place I visit

Fantastic experience: Where else would you book a great holiday

Negative experience: I visited the Cambridge store at 11.50 am today (31st May 2019)armed with an itinerary prepared by another company for a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia next winter. The itinerary was set so would not allow for a trip to a remote Vietnamese town in the north. The man I saw was obviously indifferent to my plans and seemed suspicious that I might go elsewhere - I don't know why as I spent £10,000 on a trip to OZ this year via Austravel. I told him that I sensed his reticence so he suggested that I commit to making the booking today - before I had sought annual leave and discussed the plans with my other half. He did not even take down any of my details! I wouldn't waste my time on these company

Negative experience: Be extremely careful if you use this travel agent in Cambridge. Had a quote last week, accepted it and then price was raised by £1000 saying they had made a mistake on number of nights. Today went to book holiday, requoted as quote had run out. Went through quote line by line to confirm the detail due to lasts weeks saga. Accepted quote and went to pay. Surprise surprise they wanted more money saying this time they had got the wrong hotel! Asked to speak to manager who was not there. Assistant Manager would only say he had no power to do anything, so what's the point of Employing him as a manager? Apparently Manager only works week days, wonder if this is so he doesn't have to deal with customers? One mistake is human error, but mistakes one after another are systematic system failings, unless of course this is company policy? A very disgruntled potential customer!

Negative experience: Very unfriendly and unhelpful. Earlier in the day I visited STA Travel for some assistance in organising flights for a trip to India. They were very warm and friendly and went out of their way to give me all the information I could possibly need, including visa and insurance advice. I left after an hour of conversation at STA Travel feeling like a valued customer. Sadly, I was slightly disappointed by the cost that was quoted to me and I decided to shop around for a better deal. In stark contrast, the assistance I received from Trailfinder was very poor. The employee with whom I spoke was cold and unfriendly and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He told me that if I've already looked for tickets online then there's not much else he can do for me. I left after two minutes with a ballpark estimate and feeling very unsatisfied with the experience.

Positive experience: We are potentially the most critical and demanding family travelers in the market! Trailfinders Cambridge helped us plan a trip to Koh Samui last winter. It was a much-needed break and a great fit for the whole family. High praise, indeed.
