Fantastic experience: We just finished our highlights of Turkey tour with tour guide Mustafa. We all felt the trip was very enjoyable with mix of cultural, historical and natural experiences. Everyday was full and interesting. The highlights of our trip were Cappadocia, hot air balloon ride, Pamukkale and Ephesus. Mustafa is a great storyteller and full of knowledgeable information. Turkey has so much history from Greek, Roman Empire, Byzantine to Ottoman empire but he was able to provide key information for us to understand. This was truly an unforgettable trip beyond our expectations! The tour also was very organized, and time managed. Mustafa took care all the details seamlessly. We definitely will recommend this tour to friends and take another Travel Talk tour!

Fantastic experience: 10 Day Essential Turkey Tour Tour Guide Mustafa November 2025 This was by far the best Tour I've been on. Mustafa has been incredible. He provided so much information, provided plenty of options for trying new foods and overall made the trip fun. He's a true asset to Travel Talk Tours. We never felt rushed unlike other tours we've been on, and there was plenty of time to explore on our own. I like to be surprised when traveling so didn't dig deep into the schedule, but but trip was one delight after another. Can't recommend this tour enough.

Fantastic experience: Did the 10-day essential Türkiye tour. Our guide Mustafa was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the culture, history, and geography. We had a good mix of adventurous activities and relaxation. Mustafa organised good timing of activities for us, as we beat the crowds to sites before they got crowded. Mustafa made us feel welcome, as he looked after us very well, giving us recommendations for food places and tips for each city, as he’s a very experienced guide with plenty of research. This has been the best travel tour I have done and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: This is our 4th trip with travel talks. We did the essential Turkey 10-day tour. It was a great mix of culture, history, natural wonders, and a chance for both adventure and relaxation. Hilights were the hot air balloons at Cappadocia and paragliding in Pumakale, both of which I was able to do in confidence when I saw how much research into safety Mustafa had done, he also got us good prices and no fly no pay. I felt like going on the tour with Mustafa as our guide ensured we got the best of every experience, timing it to go places at the least busy time of day, best prices, helping us to eat well and hygienically. He looked out for us, had a great sense of humor, was a chill guy but very professional, and made sure things ran smoothly at the same time, extremely knowledgeable. I feel he made it his duty to ensure we had the best trip possible, which we did!

Fantastic experience: Highlights of Turkey with Mustafa was an incredible adventure tour. For a very long time I always wanted to visit Turkey, and discover the many beautiful places, get to know the people and culture. I was struck to see how beautiful this country is, with hospitable people and cute cats. One of the highlights for me was seeing the incredible ancient cities which for a long time I didn’t know still existed and where for thousands of years people lived in the history of the world. Our tour guide Mustafa did a marvelous job capturing important details and explaining the history of each place. Mustafa was also very attentive and ensuring that everyone was looked after, and answered every question very patiently. I’m thankful for his amazing guide and my beautiful companions in this journey, it was a great pleasure meeting all of them. I certainly do hope to be back on another journey.

Fantastic experience: I have just been on the Essential Turkey tour (November 2025) which was superb from start to finish. Our group gelled together and we were lucky to have Aykut as our guide. Aykut’s organisational skills were excellent and he looked after us all very well. He had the right balance of humour, was a brilliant storyteller and his knowledge on Turkish history and culture was inspiring - I learnt so much from him during the time on tour. We travelled over 3,000 kilometres by minibus watching the landscape changing constantly. We were driven safely and competently by our drivers Osman and Omar and there were plenty of stops along the way. Everyday brought a new experience and lots of fun. Fantastic experience: The essential Turkey tour that I finished yesterday was beyond my expectations. I have learnt an enormous amount about Turkey from our absolutely amazing guide Aykut who delivered the information in a most refreshing and yet often humourous way. He talked through the history ,politics ,geology and geography of Turkey with the right balance of detail in his chats. A really charismatic and entertaining guide ,I have not come across better. We had two drivers Omer and Osman for our very comfortable vehicle with their safe and professional driving over the 3000+ kilometers. From hot air ballooning to visiting world heritage sights this tour delivered it all and combined with the quality of the hotels used this was probably the best value holiday I have ever had. I would thoroughly recommend it for visiting and learning about Turkey past and present.

Fantastic experience: I recently done the highlights of Turkey tour. The trip started in Istanbul, where we visited the awe inspiring Hagia Sophia, a blend of ancient history and stunning architecture. The Blue Mosque was just as impressive, and the Topkapi Palace was massive and full of history. Next, travelled to Cappadocia, a region unlike anywhere else. The fairy chimneys were surreal, and visiting Derinkuyu, the underground city was a fascinating look into the past. The highlight in Cappadocia, though, was the dance show in a cave bar an unforgettable experience. We then made our way to Pamukkale, where we got the chance to float in a hot air balloon over the stunning white terraces. The views were surreal, and it felt like something out of a dream. Finally, we visited Ephesus the ancient city with ancient roads and the communal toilets before heading home. The whole trip was well organised, and our guide Mustafa was exceptional, detail oriented and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great time. It was a fantastic mix of history, culture, and natural beauty, and I had the pleasure of meeting some great people along the way. I’d highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience: Our 10-day Essential Turkey tour with our local guide, Mustafa was amazing. We explored a wide range of cities/locations and fascinating historical sites. Most of the accommodations were clean, spacious and equipped with good facilities, making the trip comfortable. Mustafa was an excellent guide - enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable about Turkey’s history and culture. He was also considerate and attentive to the group's needs, ensuring we had a wonderful experience. Overall, the tour was well organised and a great way to experience Turkey. Fantastic experience: Tour: 10 days essential Turkey tour Tour guide: Mustafa This tour was absolutely amazing. We saw so much and learned a lot throughout the trip. Turkey is such an incredible country—rich in history, culture, and natural beauty—and it’s so vast that having a local guide made all the difference. Everything was well-organized, which really put us at ease. Mustafa was an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, funny, attentive, and always ready with great recommendations on where to eat and shop. His passion and expertise truly elevated the experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore Turkey. It was unforgettable!

Negative experience: Very sub standard, unacceptable cabins on MS Morena (Split to Dubrovnik cruise). Cabin very small and no wardrobe/storage. No recess for shower in bathroom.. entire bathroom is flooded when showering. Shower head sits over the basin and when showering, you just stand in the bathroom, turn shower on and water goes everywhere. Bathroom walls, grout and even rubbish bin in bathroom all very visibly mouldy! Cabin is constantly damp as there is no ventilation. As a result, bed sheets and clothes in cabin are constantly damp. Walls between cabins are paper thin.. someone snoring in cabin next door echoed very loudly to the entire lower deck cabins. Air conditioning in cabin worked only intermittently. Food very average, almost inedible… dried out meat, cold, over cooked. Crew smoke constantly in all areas of boat. A culture of sexual harassment from crew of boats in Croatia is a real problem! I would warn against any woman, especially young women, from doing this cruise with Travel Talk. It is not a safe environment. Itinerary advertised is not the itinerary out cruise followed .. and has not been the itinerary for a long time. Travel Talk customer service is almost non existent. They do not reply to emails. The entire ethos of this company is unacceptable. I highly recommend AGAINST taking this cruise with this company. 0/10

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing tour in Turkey (Essential Turkey tour) with the one and only Yil. He really knows his stuff and tells you all the information you need to know in a fun way. It was well organised and the tour of a lifetime. The highlights were definitely the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia and seeing the city of Troy. Yil was an icon and we couldn't ask for a better guide. He even organised a dental appointment for me which was lovely. Thanks Yil! HELLO!

Fantastic experience: Just finished 10 Days Amazing Turkey by Land Tour. It was an unforgettable experience made so by our extraordinary Tour Guide Aykut and terrific bus drivers Ahmet and Osman. Our Turkey highlights took us from the mosques of Istanbul to the fairy-chimneys of Cappadocia, the white terraces of Pamukkale to the ancient ruins of Ephesus. This tour gives you the perfect mix of history, nature, and culture. Aykut was a font of knowledge and comedy going well beyond our expectations in being well organised, great time keeper gently reminding guests to comply. We had access to his expertise and assistance from helping get medicines and bandaids for guests to organising requests for nail salon and excess baggage inquiries to airlines. His vast knowledge and love for his homeland was evident in the engaging stories weaving historical and cultural information in an entertaining way. I loved each city or place we visited and also the optional activities such as para-gliding in Fetye to Hot Air Balooning in Cappadocia. The tour is full-on and many hours on the Bus which was well driven, comfortable, clean managed by Ahmet. Thank you for the great memories.

Positive experience: Our tour Guide Aykut was awesome - very entertaining and very knowledgeable. He added lots of great extensions to our tour. I would choose him again, My only disappointment was the hotel in Fethiye which although my friend and I had booked twin accommodation I had an old 1980s or 90’s vinyl couch with a strip of fabric that ran down the middle of the mattress for the under sheet. It didn’t quite make it to the edges and a throw over that I wouldn’t give my pets to sleep on. I didn’t complain about this. I should have as we were there for three days. Communication was poor from Travel talk. We were travelling for quite some time before we met this Tour and an email came with arrangements for transfers which of course I didn’t see. Travel Talk were completely uninterested in either reimbursing us for that lost transfer or helping us when we needed the return one to the airport upon leaving. So really they’re not interested in reviews like this or making any changes because of reviews like this.

Fantastic experience: Aykut was our guide on our Turkish tour. We thank you Aykut for your diligent application to serving us with the best tour information we have experienced. Whether it was the indepth coverage of incredibly archaic ancient sites such as Troy and the Trojan horse. The majesty of Ephesus and the calculated rhetoric delivered with impeccable timing. Aykut has a talent for the one liner that would make the best stand up comedian green around the gills. Aykut pre-warned us that his B.S would increase as the tour advanced and the way he weaved the narrative with cheeky Turkish humour made the long arduous hours in the bus somewhat relaxing and enjoyable. Gallipoli is a special place for us Anzacs and tears of pride welled up as we heard how the Turkish people considered our fallen sons as their own. As they lie side by side with the Turkish brave sons who are not considered enemies anymore but brothers in heaven who made the ultimate sacrifice. Pamukkale was a tour de force of many empires finding their place in the sun, as Aykut continued to regale us with accurate facts and figures that would fill many copies of encyclopaedia. The idiosyncratic miscellaneous tidbits of well delivered statistics during the tour was simply magnificent. Definitely a tip of the hat to the historical insight he has gleaned from the decades of dedication to his craft. Cappadocia stood out as ancient sites stacked up one by one but still Aykut continued to entertain with the dry Turkish sense of humour that drew a smile and entertained even the most travel hardy. The balloon adventure soaring through the Cappadocia dawn was exhilarating and a highlight for us. Finally I would give the big hell yeah to anyone considering this tour with Aykut as your guide. My Turkish brother you are a credit to the Turkish people as you educate and entertain the masses who come to your beautiful country. Long story short, short story long this Turkish tour with Aykut is very, very nice. Me mihi ka tika - Big ups peace out!

Fantastic experience: Coming to the end of a 12 day Best of Turkey by Gulet trip with the brilliant Mustafa as our guide. I was travelling solo and was a little apprehensive, but every aspect was well organised and I felt completely safe in Turkey. The group was wonderfully friendly, so I was not alone for long. Each destination exceeded my expectations and hotels and food were of a good standard. Paragliding in Fethiye and hot air ballooning in Cappadocia were not to be missed experiences. The gulet cruise was fantastic too - my only regret is that I didn't do the 19 day trip to spend even more time exploring this wonderful coastline. I will definitely be returning to Turkey and would tour with travel talk again.

Fantastic experience: We did the 12 day Turkey tour with Mustafa in September and had an amazing time. Mus was an amazing guide, he made sure everything went smoothly and shared plenty of knowledge and advice. The itinerary was great, hotels were nice and the bus was comfortable - even the longest rides went by fast. I would highly reccomend doing at least a few days on the boat - we absolutely loved it and found it was great value for money.

Fantastic experience: We recently went on the Best of Turkey Tour for our HONEYMOON and had an absolutely amazing time. Mustafa the guide was incredible, he managed the group brilliantly and made the whole experience seem effortless. The group was mixed, with people from a range of ages and backgrounds. We usually travel and plan everything on our own, but since it was our honeymoon we wanted to take the headache of planning away - this was our first ever organised tour and we don't regret it. So much in fact that we're almost definitely going to do another tour again for our next holiday. The hotels, meals and transport were all spot on. Once again huge shout out to Mustafa.

Fantastic experience: We booked onto the 12-day Turkey tour for our honeymoon. We were looking for a way to see Turkey in the short time we had and this tour was just perfect. Mustafa our guide was knowledgeable, professional and friendly and kept the tour running smoothly. Although there were a lot of early starts it was worth it to see the sites before huge crowds arrived. The bus was spacious and comfortable - despite being a large group (39 on our tour I think) it did not feel crowded. I had never been on an organised tour like this before but I will definitely do it again and have already been looking at the other tours organised by Travel Talk! Fantastic experience: We were on the 19 day tour of Turkey.The first week we toured with a great mix of fellow travelers.Our tour guide Aykut was amazing and was very informative without being boring .His favourite saying was long story short All the places outlined on itinerary were amazing The bus was comfortable with excellent drivers The hotels were a good standard and well located-maybe not quite international 4 and 5 star Overall well priced tour Our Tour was in three parts The next week was on Gulet We enjoyed the multiple swims in the turquoise sea The crew in boat very helpful Murat was such a helpful person The food was good One set back was our fellow travellers were all under 30 -the partied until early hours with a lot of drinking We in our sixties so a poor sleep for a week was tough If you young you will thoroughly enjoy If older go for more premium product-Sanda Life has no AC and could with a makeover. Nevertheless we did enjoy ourselves and were totally accepted by the youngsters

Fantastic experience: I just finished my tour in Turkey and it was one of the best trips I have ever done. Despite a little bit of fear for my first solo trip, I found a lovely group and a fantastic tour guide who made this adventure special. Mustafa always goes extra miles to make sure everything goes smoothly and allowed us to live this experience to the fullest in every aspect (logistics, information and curiosities, advice, support and congeniality). The highlights for me were the early morning trip to Pamukkale to see the balloons rising over the terraces and of course the once in a lifetime hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia! Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to travel Turkey!

Fantastic experience: I had the most incredible time on the 10 Day Amazing Turkey By Gulet tour. As a solo traveller, it was a great way to meet some amazing people and easily travel in such a beautiful country. You get a really good snapshot of Turkey and it was a nice mix of sightseeing and relaxing (on the gulet in particular!). Mustafa, our guide, was awesome and extremely accommodating, always striving to ensure each person had the best experience possible. He is also funny and super knowledgeable so I learnt a lot about Turkey and its history along the way too. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Fantastic experience: The Best of Turkey by Land was fantastic! If it’s a “tour” of Turkey you’re seeking, this one is the pick of them all. We travelled to the most spectacular locations, and experienced breathtaking moments and views, in every stop! Our tour guide Mustafa was very knowledgeable and talked us through the history of the land. He was friendly and very patient, considering the hours he puts into his tours. Mus was able to swap the days activities for some days to ensure we were given the best opportunity for photo’s and leas tourists in other locations. Our bus drivers did an amazing job getting us to all locations safely! Thank you Ahmet & Ali, you are superstars… Highlights for us were Gallipoli, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Fethyie and hot air ballooning in Cappadocia. The group consisted of all ages, which worked out to be a good mix. The weather varied between 25 - 36 degrees throughout the trip, so be sure to pack the sunscreen and portable fan. Hotels varied, each one having it’s own idiosyncrasies, but overall very good. Some of the days were extremely long but we got through them.. I’d recommend this tour to anyone that wants a taste of the beautiful land that Turkey is ☺️

Fantastic experience: Did the Amazing Turkey by Gulet tour with my wife and it was the perfect way to experience Turkey! Highlights were our time on the boat, listening to stories on the bus, seeing the amazing history and cultural sites in Istanbul and meeting a whole bunch of amazing people. I can't stress enough how good of a guide Aykut was, we would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for the perfect mix of history, culture and adventure! If you're lucky enough to get Aykut as your guide you're in for a treat, I'd go back to Istanbul just for him. We both learnt so much about every landmark, Turkish cultural practices, and also lots of history, all while having big laughs in the process.

Fantastic experience: Just finished a 12 day tour in Turkiye and thanks to our amazing guide Aykut, who went above and beyond for our group, we saw extra things that weren't included. He has immense knowledge about the country and his sense of humour is next level. He puts in so much effort organising different songs for different breaks, organising laundry pick up & drop offs etc etc. when our hot air balloon got cancelled, he was quick to act and had us booked onto the following day. lastly, his restaurant and bar recommendations have all been fantastic. Fantastic experience: Just completed my first Travel Talk tour through Turkey. It was an amazing experience!! Mustafa made sure to make this tour unforgettable. He rearranged the tour so we could visit Gallipoli (originally closed due to the wildfires) as well as taking earlier in the day to visit Pamukkale and Ephesus. Not only did we get some amazing photos, but we also avoided the hottest part of the day so we could really enjoy the sites. Fantastic experience: My first ever trip to Türkiye was absolutely phenomenal! I did the best 12 days by Gulet tour and feel that it allowed me to see so much of the country, especially considering that I only had 12 days here. I wasn't aware before coming here how spread out the popular tourist destinations are. Therefore, the tour guide and drivers made it possible to see so much of Türkiye compared to if we had to sort out out own public transport and itinerary. Our guide Aykut really made the tour memorable for all of my group. He was full of knowledge, fun facts, and made any of our long travel days feel short with loads of jokes, stories and anecdotes. Aykut went out of his way to give us experiences we otherwise wouldn't have had. For example, he randomly stopped on the side of the road to buy us all fresh figs when he heard we had never tried them before. He kept us very safe and acted as our Turkish dad while we were here!! Teşekkürler Aykut, and to our drivers Idan and Milli for such an amazing holiday. I'd highly recommend travel talk to anyone if you want a holiday that will show you the best that Türkiye has to offer!

Fantastic experience: Travel talk tours provided Felicity and I with 19 wonderful days travelling in three different tour groups. We started with the magnificent city of Istanbul and all wonders of Europe and Asia, visiting the Blue mosque, the Ottoman palace, Grand Bazaar, a sunset cruise on the Bosphorus taking in the amazing sites. We went to Gallipoli a sobering experience visiting the Anzac trenches along with the Turkish trenches. The ancient city of Troy was truly magical with a lot more to see than I was expecting, a true fortress no wonder it took the Greeks 10 years to get inside the city walls, wow! Next we visited the grand city of the ancient world Ephesus, and you will not be disappointed the city is huge and the marble reliefs are so detailed. Our next leg was a week on water relaxing taking in the islands that also housed so many ancient ruins, must say we needed the relaxing break because everyday is full of amazing travel through history. Our final leg of the 19 day tour was uplifting with hot air balloons and underground cities in the Anatoly region, plus the best produce for those that live fruits and vegetables. I attached a picture of Ephesus to show the spender. Love Turkey, you will too.

Fantastic experience: This was a great tour that I participated in. Simon S. and driver Chris (from North Macedonia) were a very good tandem. It was not perfect but highly recommended if you want a quick snapshot/highlights tour of the Balkans. Simon was a very knowledgeable and passionate guide. He is also very attentive to clients needs and embodies the qoute: "It is not work if you love what you are doing." I will forever remember this trip as one of the best experiences in my life. Fantastic experience: I went on The Best Of Turkey By Land Tour. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour was well run and I was able to see lots of places. I would say the highlights of the tour was the hot air balloon in Cappadocia and the boat ride in Fethiye. The tour guide Aykut was fantastic. He was knowledgeable and informed us about the history of the sites I visited and also about Turkish Culture. For lunch, he also took us to places he’d visit himself. He also had a great sense of humour and was always willing to help out. I would also like to thank the coach drivers Ahmet and Kemal for allowing me to ride in comfort and safely taking my fellow travellers and I to each destination safely. The hotels were clean and comfortable. The food was better in some hotels than others. Despite that, there was still a good range to choose from. I would recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience: Our trip traveling Greece was everything we had hoped for and more. The locations we were taken to in Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Ios were incredibly beautiful. We saw and did so much, more than we expected, but never felt rushed. The true stand out though was our group and local guide, Kostas. His genuine care for us, helpfulness and knowledge of Greece was so appreciated. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the most incredible time. It was so lovely being able to relax, knowing everything was organised and we had a local looking after us. We are already looking at other Travel Talk tours to do in the future and I would not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family.

Fantastic experience: Just finished the 10 day Amazing Turkey by Land Tour with our guide Aykut, and our drivers Ahmet and Kemal. What an epic adventure! Aykut was the perfect guide, with incredible knowledge and an ability to deliver it in such a fun, understandable way. He went above and beyond to make our trip special with extra stops and treats including a roadside fresh fig stop, family run lunch stops and REAL SNOW slushies with local fruit. He also jumped in to immediately anticipate or resolve any bumps in the road, no matter how trivial (e.g. we mentioned in a message we might be missing a top sheet at one of the hotels and his response was immediate - he’d contacted reception and had one being sent up to us already). The drivers were also very friendly, helpful and we always felt safe on the roads. Recommend this trip to any kind of traveller!

Fantastic experience: Unforgettable trip! My 12 day tour of Turkey was hands down the best holiday I’ve been on in years. Everything was so well planned and we packed so many activities into our time in Turkey. Personal highlights were Ephesus, Pamukkale, and Cappadocia! The whole experience was made that much better by our amazing guide, Mustafa. He always had interesting facts about the places we visited, great picks for lunch spots (and very good at accommodating the group vegetarians), and a hilarious sense of humour that made you feel like you’d been friends for years! It was also great how adaptable he was, changing the schedule a few times so that we would visit the more photogenic places at times when they’d be less crowded with tourists. This seems like a small thing but it was so considerate and made a huge difference. I cannot recommend this tour enough! Fantastic experience: As a solo traveler who doesn’t take tours, this was the best decision of my life Honestly, it was a privilege to be taken around Turkey with Aykut on a luxury bus with air con, comfy seats and a microphone so no info was missed. He was so educated about every site we visited, whether it was an historical ancient village, or a natural mountain, or a restaurant. I loved his stories and humour too!! The insider tips were great and it was so wonderful to avoid the tourist traps and busy areas. We actually got better views thanks to Aykut. I wish the tour didn’t end! My highlight was the gulet cruise. We even found Yusuf Dekic at one of our pit stops, it was wonderful. Thanks so much to Aykut and our bus drivers Ahmet and Kemal.

Negative experience: BEWARE, dodgy company if something goes wrong. Booked a sail Split to Dubrovnik tour only to find when I had boarded the boat it was Split to Split. Trip not as advertised and booked by me. Missed destinations and trip was too rushed. Travel Talk customer Support don't care, they say it was the same trip as booked when it clearly wasn't.

Fantastic experience: This was my partner and I’s first travel group tour. We decided to do it this way for Türkiye to make it possible for us to see a lot in a small period of time. And we are incredibly glad that we did. Yildiray was the best guide/host/friend we could have asked for. His knowledge of history, sense of humour and genuine care for his guests was immense. We felt so safe, at ease and comfortable the entire time, there wasn’t a problem he couldn’t fix.
