Fantastic experience: Walked into Tui in The Tower Center, Ballymena to immediately be greeted by Sinead Martin, I wanted to book a holiday that I didn't want to go on lol, let me explain. 20 years ago I promised my hubby that I would agree to go on a cruise for his 60th birthday , my idea of a nightmare, but she set my mind at rest and picked the perfect cruise for me, though it's his present lol, she picked the duration, the voyage and the liner to sit best with both of us to get the most from the experience. Her colleague beside her ,when she finished with her customer also entered the conversation although I didn't catch her name. Thank you both for putting me at ease and answering all my anxious questions . Highly Reccomend, and will post an update in December 2024, Thankyou Ladies

Negative experience: I am now into my seventh week of waiting for compensation from TUI. I booked a holiday to Cyprus through TUI Ballymena at a cost of £4,176.50 and my flight home was cancelled. My family and I had to spend a night in the airport and were refused food vouchers by a TUI rep who stated that she wasn’t there to help people from the cancelled Belfast flight. We paid for our own transport to another hotel, which was two and a half hours away. We then paid for our new hotel stay and food for a further 4 days as we couldn’t get a flight. We are currently £1000+ out of pocket and TUI have made NO effort to pay us back. Be warned, if you book a package holiday with TUI and they sub contract flights to Easyjet as we did they will leave you high and dry. I would recommend anyone to check if TUI are sub contracting your holiday flights as you could be left heavily out of pocket and be left to find your own way home. NEVER AGAIN will I use this company This is a no star review Update: EasyJet part refunded us after 12 weeks but we are still out of pocket. TUI Ballymena are not responding to our e-mails and we are still roughly £400 out of pocket still

Fantastic experience: As Travel Agents go I can’t recommend highly enough the staff in TUI Ballymena. They put that much effort into insuring that you, the customer, has all available information in relation your chosen holiday destination, you would nearly think it’s their own personal holiday booking. Nothing is too much bother and even what is a silly question to you can be very easily answered. Had an issue with a cancelled flight and hours before receiving the email from TUI I had Ann Louise phoning advising me in person and discussing options. When I had liaised with travelling friends, the following morning Diane took the reins and a simple airport change and the holiday was back on track with a saving of over £400. Don’t take my word for it, call in and explore your options, you won’t regret it
