Fantastic experience: TL;DR - Stop your search for the best travel agent and just book Emma, I’ve done the leg work for you and you cannot do better! My wife and I wanted to book our honeymoon for May/June 2025 (in December 2024). We had decided on Bali/Indonesia and a couple spots we liked the sound of but nothing else. Having lots of friends use travel agents over the last few years we thought we’d give them a go and take the legwork out of it for us. We started by reaching out to way more agents than I initially intended to, all the big ones (Trailfinders, Audley, Kuoni, Abercrombie & Kent and many more) - about 14 in total, including Emma at Travel Counsellors. Even though there were some really good agents out there, none even came remotely close to Emma. Honestly they need extra stars on Google for her level of service! Firstly, of all the agents we reached out to, Emma was the only one that had really, truly considered exactly what we wanted and had taken the time initially to get to know us and what we wanted a bit better, with an initial call and questionnaire with well thought out but simple questions. She spent well over the allocated booking time with us and we really hit it off over the phone! Emma took the time to make us feel comfortable, let us know it was always okay to make changes or amendments and listened to our feedback at every stage, even well before we’d committed to going with her (ie. before we were even paying her anything). We had numerous calls and iterations of our plans before locking in and Emma kept coming in clutch with amazing suggestions when we weren’t 100% about something. You can really tell how truly passionate Emma is about travel and how much effort she puts into every itinerary she puts together. What’s more is that Emma/travel counsellors pricing/business model means that the service is very competitive. We found that quotes with very similar itineraries with Emma came in under every other provider we enquired with. If you’ve read this far, and still aren’t sure I don’t know what else I can say at this stage to convince you that Emma and her team are the people you want handling your holiday trips from now on, we’ll certainly be using her services again in the future! I almost forgot to mention, that since booking with Emma, we’ve been working with her team Lesley and Lesley has also been fantastic, we’ll be using her concierge service so can update on that later but I’m confident it’ll be just as easy and great as the rest of the service has been thus far! Once we’ve had our honeymoon next year, I’ll update this review to reflect how amazing and smoothly I’m sure our trip will go!

From the moment of first chatting to her about where we were thinking of going, to the day we took off, Emma and her team were on the ball the whole time. So professional and friendly, happy to make changes where necessary, sending out our brilliant wallet with every detail inside before we left, to make this a holiday of a lifetime. Our car hire was easy from beginning to end. Every hotel was just incredible and we were treated like VIP’s when we arrived with cards and wine or champagne in every room to celebrate a very special birthday! Even a secret hotel in Toronto!! The trip was flawless! From arriving at Boston, then visiting Vermont, Montreal, Kingston, Toronto, Niagara on the Lake and the unbelievable Niagara Falls and returning back to Toronto to fly home. Once away Emma’s concierge booked reservations for us at restaurants that even our hotel couldn’t arrange. The fact that everything had been paid for before we left made it all so much easier. Fantastic experience: We have just returned from an amazing honeymoon all planned and organised by Emma! From the moment we made our initial enquiry Emma really took the time to find out exactly what kind of thing we wanted for our honeymoon (which was initially quite a broad range of different places we were considering) and put together some fab options for us to decide between. The one we went for was absolutely amazing and everything from the travel to the hotel and extra excursions all completely surpassed our expectations. The hotel Emma selected was a totally perfect choice for us and knowing that everything had been organised and booked for us meant we could just relax and enjoy the holiday. The service provided didn’t end when we had booked the holiday- Emma and Michelle also went really above and beyond in the run up and during our trip - adding personal, gorgeous touches that really made our honeymoon extra special. Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience booking our honeymoon with Emma. We already had a clear idea of where wanted to visit in Mexico and even most of the hotels that we wanted to stay at - she quickly took our plan, made it several times better with some smart tweaks, and took all of the stress out of actually organising that individually. Totally committed to customer satisfaction, Nothing is too much trouble - a workaholic 24/7, is always there for her clients, ensuring she provides solutions / travel / holidays that truly meet / exceed a clients requirements. We discovered from the get go that Emma had our backs, sorting out issues before we even left the UK, ensuring we were fully briefed on requirements / tests required to meet COVID regulations; ensuring we had all documents at our finger tips. Checked in with us during our holiday, resolving various issues that arose for us during our visit, and ensured we were prepared for our journey home and Day 2 tests. I have been travelling for 50 years plus - NEVER have I experienced service and customer support that TC and Emma provided - it is Truly Special and Truly Unique Would we use TC again 110% we would. Fantastic experience: We have just got back from two weeks in Croatia which Emma organised for us. Fantastic experience: Emma Diamond - Travel Counsellors A few weeks ago, my partner suggested that the two of us go on a short city break to Dubrovnik, now that travel regulations have begun to ease. Due to the pandemic, we’ve not been away for two years and I was rather reluctant to go away even now, with all the travel regulations, vaccines and the whole general idea of holidaying during a pandemic. But I needn’t have worried one bit. We booked through Emma Diamond of Travel Counsellors and she metaphorically held our hands through the whole process of booking, travelling and then returning. Nothing was too much trouble for her. And I really mean nothing. She found us the best flights and at the times we asked for them. She found us the best hotel in the location we wanted. She sorted out full Covid insurance, in case one of us came down with the virus, before or during the trip. She sorted out private car hire transfer from the airport to the hotel. In fact, she sorted out everything for us. The list is actually too long to mention. Before we went away, we received a folder from her, containing everything we needed for the trip, including a visitor's guidebook that she'd bought herself, luggage tags, a tourist map of the area and a long list of things to do for tourists. Everything you can imagine that we would need on the trip, to make it easier and more enjoyable. There was even a little handwritten card from Emma wishing us a lovely trip and that she hopes everything goes well. Emma also organised and ordered for us, the three Covid tests that were required before, during and after our trip. She even managed to upgrade our room to one with a seaview balcony, without even telling us, so that it was a surprise when we arrived at the hotel. In all the years that we’ve been travelling abroad, I’ve always been the one to do all the hard work and the research behind the scenes, which can be very stressful sometimes. But this year, with Emma organising absolutely everything for us, I’ve never felt more relaxed and comfortable and reassured about a holiday in my life. I can guarantee that we will always book through Emma in future. We found her to be extremely professional, polite, friendly, intuitive, tenacious and always insisted on going above and beyond anything that we expected from her. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Emma Diamond highly enough if you are planning a staycation, a foreign holiday or just a city break. She’s the jewel in Travel Counsellors’ crown.

Fantastic experience: Who needs the internet?! We’d spent 2 weeks fruitlessly looking for the right trip. 2 phone calls and an hour later and Emma had our trip sorted!!

Fantastic experience: We worked with Emma to secure a break during half term. She was more responsive and more proactive than anyone I had worked with previously. It took less than 24hrs to identify a suitable option and to secure it for us. She was polite and knowledgeable throughout. Until we go on the holiday I cannot comment on the accuracy of her guidance but the booking process has been slick and effective.
