The Bucket List Company

Negative experience: Booked a holiday with this company. They have a very unusual finance model. Either you pay 100% of the holiday cost upfront, or you pay monthly, immediately, effectively spreading the cost. As an accountant I’m clearly not going to pay 100% upfront a year or so in advance, so monthly it was. Sadly my holiday was cancelled, 6 months in advance of the departure date. All money refunded, (this took a couple of weeks, not sure why it could not be a few days). I do feel that my money has been funding their business, and I will not be booking again with this company.

Fantastic experience: Just did the classic Inca Trail with TBLC. Was an amazing trip from start to finish. The guides, both English and Peruvian, were brilliant, being super helpful and very knowledgable and they went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and able to complete the hike. Itinery was great with lots of interesting excursions and was a superb way to meet like-minded lovely people. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait for my next bucket-list adventure.

Fantastic experience: The most incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience with the Bucket List Company. From start to finish, our Kilimanjaro trek was fantastic. Our expedition leader Jack was a phenomenal leader and a great personality, fitting so well with our team! The local guides, including world-renowned 'Whitey', made the trip better than I could've imagined. Their kindness, enthusiasm, expertise, singing and dancing (!) were unforgettable and I will treasure every moment spent with them as they got us all safely up and down the mountain. Thank you Bucket List for the best adventure of my life so far.

Fantastic experience: Discover Cappadocia:- Amazing holiday with a very friendly group. The whole holiday was jam packed with so many fascinating excursions and visits my head is still spinning, but in a good way, with happy memories. Highlights for me were watching silk being spun from cocoons and carpets being weaved, watching complicated pottery being made right in front of us and, best of all, the magical balloon ride. I would highly recommend The Bucket List Company, from initial booking to flying home everything was so well organised and any questions I had were answered really promptly. I also liked being able to pay by instalments. So if there's that bucket list item you want to tick off, I recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: Toubkal 2025 This was my first adventure with the Bucketlist company or any adventure holiday for that matter and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Everything was catered for from kit lists to briefings to training guides so you could literally just turn up and enjoy. Dave (our guide) was fantastic and encouraged our group to the top of the mountain, and back down again, safely. Dave was always on hand for advice, suggestions and laughs. I would highly recommend any adventure with this company and will be booking another soon!

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend The Bucket List Company enough. Our trip to Mount Toubkal was incredible from start to finish. We met our fabulous English guide Dave at Gatwick and flew out to marrakesh with him. Lovely Riad close to the main square, a hot air balloon ride first thing the next morning and then a 4 day trek through the stunning Atlas Mountains to Mount Toubkal. The food and accommodation was fantastic and the care of the local Guides Brahim and Youniss was brilliant. We all felt very safe and supported. Ive already booked another trip for next year and I'm looking at about 4 more I want to do and that's just a start. Great company to travel with.

Fantastic experience: Did the EBC + Gokyo trick in April - May 2024. Was the best experience ever! It was challenging (p.s. don't listen to anyone who tells you it's very easy! Likely, they have never done it themselves!) but manageable and we were looked after so well by our guides and everyone in the tea houses! Wish, the weather was a bit better as we hadn't actually managed to see Everest in the end :( oh well, just means, we'll need to come back for the views again!

Fantastic experience: What a great experience. From start to finish. From booking the trip, all the way to my transfer back to the airport in Morocco BLC couldn't have been more helpful. From office staff to tour guides it was first class all the way. Trip went seamlessly, food was lovely, great group of people to do the trip with as well. Will definitely be booking on more trips with BLC.

Fantastic experience: Just back from our second BLC trip, which was awesome . First one was Kilimanjaro in Sep 2022, and we were so impressed with the experience that we immediately signed up for their Mt. Toubkal trek in April 2024 as a friend group of 10. Again, a great experience. It was incredibly well organised. Communications and advice have been great from Ellie in the office leading up to the trip, then on the trek itself with guides Dave, Jamima, and the Toubkal local guide, Hassan, we were well looked after and supported. The food and accommodation on the trek was ace, and I particularly like the how the BLC also factors in down time to explore and show us around d the local areas and attractions outside of the trek itself, such as Marrakech and the Imlil village. Can't recommend these guys enough. We have again, immediately booked up for our next BLC trip in 2025

Fantastic experience: Once again another great trip organised and hosted by the bucket list company ( Mount Toubkal, Morocco). I need to call out that from the start to the finish then everything was fantastic especially with Dave and Jiminema leading from the front. The service provided was above and beyond. Fantastic experience: Excellent trip, fun and knowledgeable UK guide along with amazing local guides. We were so well taken care of In every way. Food was amazing considering we were in the middle of the desert, I have even bought my own tagine The trip was beautiful, especially the dunes!! Captured some amazing pictures along the trek but you do need a good level of fitness, and mine was below average unfortunately which made parts of the trek difficult and less enjoyable but this has nothing to do with the Bucket List Company and everything to do with me. The guides on the trip were exceptional and took good care of me. Met a fantastic, lovely group of people who helped me in more ways than one, I will be eternally grateful to them all. I would definitely recommend The Bucket List Company to anyone who wanted an adventure holiday and have two more booked myself

Fantastic experience: Let me begin. This was without a doubt the most wonderful experience. Totally out of my comfort zone but that’s not a bad thing. The attention to detail that was applied making sure we were looked after, safe and most important, ensuring we had a fabulous experience was second to none. Fantastic experience: I recently celebrated my 40th birthday on the Sahara Trek adventure organised by The Bucket List Company in Morocco. Swapping mountains and altitude for dunes and camels, the Sahara trek was a shift in adventure that exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Camping in the desert was a highlight, offering a unique and enjoyable experience. Our campsites included an oasis and dunes, providing picturesque settings for unforgettable moments. Watching both the sunrise and sunset from the dunes was simply mesmerising, making the journey truly incredible. We were exceptionally well looked after, ensuring we were comfortable, safe and well fed and hydrated. The food we were provided on the trek was not only delicious but a delightful taste of Moroccan cuisine. We had an incredible chef and team concocting a feast for every meal using very little equipment. What made this adventure even more special was the fantastic group I had the pleasure of sharing it with. We quickly became close knit, forging new friendships and creating happy memories that will last a lifetime. Dave, our guide, was the heart of the trek—an absolute legend who ensured every aspect of the trip ran smoothly. His expertise, enthusiasm, and camaraderie added an extra layer of enjoyment to the entire experience. Additionally the local guides and cameleers provided the support needed to ensure we had an exceptional experience. As I reflect on this milestone birthday celebration, I can't help but look forward to the next adventure with The Bucket List Company. This journey to Morocco was not just a trip; it was an extraordinary chapter in my life's adventures.

Fantastic experience: Winter Toubkal Feb 2024 This was my first time with TBLC and it won’t be my last! Jake and his team were great, full of encouragement up and down the mountain. We were looked after from start to finish, being cooked for three times a day was great! I hadn’t really don’t anything like this before but I had a great time and met some really great people :)

Fantastic experience: My husband and I did the Sahara Desert Trek this past October and we had the most incredible time! It was such a special rewarding trek with no 2 days the same and we enjoyed every minute of our first experience of desert trekking! Everything was so well organised, and seeing views we had dreamed about in person is something we will cherish forever! Fantastic experience: Just back from their Best of Thailand trip…. what a fantastic experience. Temples snd street markets… elephant sanctuaries and scuba diving. A truly life changing experience. Our English guide, Jake, was excellent… making everyone feel welcome from the first moment we met at the airport. We’re already lining up our next Bucket List adventure. Fantastic experience: Just back from 16 Days doing ‘Best of Thailand’ trip. Fantastic experience from start to finish.. great comms before & during trip! Jake met us at Gatwick and stayed with us for the duration, coordinating local guides, trips, accommodation and ensuring we were all well looked after. The trip was jam packed, favourite was bathing the elephants at the sanctuary and wild swimming… although scootering around Bangkok was something to be seen :) Accommodation all good apart from at Sanctuary where it was very basic, so be prepared… but argument is, it’s because they are spending the funds on the sanctuary. Nevertheless, trip of a lifetime & our second Bucketlist one…now to decide were to go next!

Fantastic experience: If you want a true adventure then consider the bucket list company Here's my review of the best of Nepal trip I have just got back from! The best of Nepal - And it was Well where do we start, beginning to end it was a true adventure, the trip was titled 'The Best of Nepal' and I truly believe I have seen the best of Nepal. 12 days out of country. Alot of travelling as expected with this style of trip. We've seen wild rhinos, paraglided over Pokhara. Seen more temples than I ever knew existed. We were fortunate to visit during Diwali, so many vibrant colours, sights and experiences. Nepal is truly the most generous and beautiful place I have ever been, from the people to the mountains I was in awe! Keith was our guide and what a great guide he was. Took time to show us the hidden gems and gave us insight to the places we were! 2nd trip TBLC and certainly not my last. Don't think about it just book it. You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: First trip with The Bucket List Company - The Best of Nepal...the best review is that I am already looking at my next trip with them! I was a bit apprehensive at first as I was traveling as a solo woman but there was no need to worry at all. The trip was well organised down to the last detail. The UK guide, Keith kept us company whilst the local guides ensured our trip was the most memorable one ever. All aspects of the trip was well planned and executed...great accommodation, great food, great tours, great locations, great transfers, etc etc etc. If there was anything not included, guides where happy to accommodate any requests as well. As for Nepal...just exquisite. The people of the country were the friendliest and kindest I've met. Service always with a genuine smile. Highly recommend this trip and the Bucket List Company as your tour group. I will definitely keep in touch with the people I met on my journey too! Sooo many photos cos I couldn't choose!!

What I can't fault was from Day 1 our intrepid leader David was brilliant in keeping the rabble in check. His expertise kept me going especially with 3 days of Delhi belly and the help of the gang pushed me to the top.I have had a great experience and would definitely book another trip with you guys again. Fantastic experience: From the flight ✈️ over to Katmandhu, the hotel in Thamel, bus to Ramechap, delayed 2 days and all though the entire walk was a real life experience I will never forget. The friendships made, the guides, porters and our fearless leader David Blower all contributed to a hard at times but thoroughly enjoyable trip. You need determination to get through it and it’s not just a simple hike but if you have the mind set then this is for you. Can’t wait to book the next one.

Fantastic experience: Had a great time at an amazing place with amazing people. All so well organised and took everyone's needs into consideration. The itinerary was exceptional, we saw tourist attractions in Istanbul without pressure of time, visited tourist and areas where locals lived in cappadocia, experienced the most amazing balloon flight and had lots of free time. The guide was really friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help in any way he could. Only my second trip abroad alone but I felt safe at all times and met some friendly people who I hope to bump into again on my travels. Fantastic experience: Just returned from an excellent guided holiday in Istanbul and around Cappadocia. Great sunrise balloon trip and visit to many cultural, historic and scenic sites with excellent knowledgeable input and organisation by the guide. Hotel right in the heart of Istanbul gave quick access to the Grand Bazaar and other key historic sites.

Fantastic experience: I climbed Kilimanjaro with this company and it was fantastic. It was an amazing experience and The Bucket List Company were there every step of the way. Everything was explained, how we were going to reach the summit, where we were camping each night, how long we would be hiking each day there was an acclimatisation day in there too. On the mountain food was provided, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and dinner are provided at the hotel. Summit night is planned so you reach the top at sunrise, it was an amazing view. The 3 day safari I added on was brilliant, 3 different safari parks in 3 day, I saw 4 of the big 5, meeting the Maasai at a camp was amazing also. You can pay your trip up monthly over a year or two which made it much easier for me to manage financially. It was such a good trip I have booked to go on another trip with The Bucket List Company. Looking forward to it. Thanks

Fantastic experience: Joined 'The Bucket List Company' for a Kilimanjaro trek in September 2023 on the Marangu route. I came across the company by shear chance but booking with them was the best thing i could have done! Using their payment plan for booking made a trip possible that i may not otherwise have been able to experience Booking the trip as a solo traveller for the first time left me a little anxious about what to expect but from the moment i met the group and Keith at the airport that all disappeared. The whole trip was so well organised from meeting at the airport to finally reaching the summit felt smooth and the daily briefings kept us well informed. The relationship and respect that the local guides have with TBLC speaks a 1000s words through their actions and goals to help you get through even the toughest of mental places on summit night!! Memories and friends made for life!! Already booked my next trip with them and cannot wait to add to the above.

Fantastic experience: Wow what an experience and what a brilliant company. I went on the Kilimanjaro trip Marangu route 5/09/23. Everything about this trip from start to finish has been brilliant. The team at the Bucket List Company always on hand via email or phone call to answer any questions. The trip itself was flawless from start to finish, from arriving at the airport and transfers to the hotel. Briefings at each stage of the climb so as not to get too overwhelmed. The porters, the guides, the cooks all amazing. I especially need to thank the guides and Keith for making sure I reached the summit and the altitude sure did affect me and summit was a struggle. But with the help of all the team I made it along with all 18 other members of the group. If you’re wanting a once in a lifetime experience you should definitely use this company to care of everything for you. I might not be climbing any mountains any time soon but you bet I’ll be booking another trip with the bucket list company for sure.

Fantastic experience: I recently returned from my trip to climb Kilimanjaro with The Bucket List Company - and to keep it short and sweet I'd give them 10 stars if I could. From start to finish they were amazing, from booking and communication from staff, to being willed on to reach the top of the mountain by the amazing team on summit night, everything was top drawer. On the mountain we 100% had the best team of porters and guides and cooks. Keith from TBLC was with us on the trip and did everything possible to make it a once in a lifetime experience. On top of that, Keith and his team got all 18 of us to the top of the mountain on a route where the summit is by no means a guarantee - that says it all. If you're wanting to put a big tick on your bucket list then then the clue is in the name - use the Bucket List Company!

Fantastic experience: I’ve waited 50 years to go to Easter Island and find the best itinerary, TBLC ticked all boxes, from the city of Santiago in Chile, to the Atacama desert checking out the sand dunes and climbing volcanoes and lots more then onto Easter Island, delving into the deep history of the island with great tour guides. The bucket list company made a long time dream come true

From start to finish it was perfect, and extremely well organised. Keith our guide was just brilliant and got stuck in with the group, very personable and a great laugh. The dive school Ritual were brilliant given that we were all complete beginners! and our dive instructor O’Cean was very professional and patient with my group. I highly recommend The Bucket List Company for your bucket list trips, not only can you add flights to your booking they have the added benefit of paying monthly if you chose too, making it affordable to everyone wishing to add adventure to their lives. Fantastic experience: Toubkal 2022 - what a trip! I just got back and had the most incredible experience. As someone who travels solo alot, it was a bit daunting going with a group but everyone was so nice and the group dynamic actually made the experience for me. Our trip host made us all feel welcome from the off and was so organised throughout. everything was thought-of and covered and i had the most unfortgettable and enjoyable week. Cant wait for more bucketlist adventures!!

Fantastic experience: Kilimanjaro to Ngorongo Crater Cycle Tour Just back from their Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro Crater Cycle Tour, what an amazing experience. A brilliant trip, where you really got to see all parts of Tanzania and immerse yourself in the countries incredible culture. Keith runs a brilliant company here, and our UK guide Jake (who met us at Heathrow, and was with us until we returned to the UK) was fabulous, really knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of the trip, a great asset to the Bucket List team. The company they use in Tanzania for actually running the trip in country (Ahsante Tours) were simply great as well, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Already booked to climb Kilimanjaro in 2024 with them, and also now planning which trip to do in 2025, couldn't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Travelled to the Inca Trail, Peru and Galapagos Islands on a 19 day adventure with the Bucket List Company, only arriving back in to the UK yesterday. Keith and Dave can't do enough to help, everything is organised for you, good standard of accommodation, met great people, enjoyed fantastic locations and truly memorable experiences. We had never been on a group trek before but highly recommend as it's great fun, so much so we are booking another trip for next April. Many thanks Keith & Co!

Fantastic experience: “Adventure Travel” it said on the brochure - and WOW, what an adventure! My recent trip to Peru with The Bucket List Company was nothing short of spectacular. SOOOO much packed into 9 days. - A tour of Lima - A tour of Cusco - Three days trekking through the Andes (not to mention the hot springs and countless other experiences included in this three day trek) - Machu Picchu - Rainbow Mountain And a group of wonderful people that I can now call friends to top it off! So many adventures and experiences all carefully bundled up into one trip. I was blown away by how well looked after we were on the trek. We had our UK guide from The Bucket List Company along with a team of local porters who were INCREDIBLE! The food on the trek that these guys managed to prepare in a tent in the middle of the Andes was unreal. Better pancakes for breakfast than I can make in my kitchen! It really was a trip of a lifetime, something ticked off my bucket list! If you’ve not done group travel before - try it. It was a hoot and such an enjoyable way to see some amazing places. Was my first adventure holiday. Was my first group travel holiday. And YES 100% I will be doing another!

Fantastic experience: Just back from the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu trek in Peru. What an absolutely fantastic experience, every part of the trip was very well planned and organised, the guides and porters there did an unbelievable job and made the trip unforgettable. Everyone on the tour was really lovely and we laughed so much even on the long hard trek days, unbelievable memories were made. Can't wait for my next trip in November with the bucket list company

Fantastic experience: A life affirming trip Just returned from an amazing trip trekking in the Sahara run by TBLC. Well organised from start to finish with experienced guides from the UK and local Berbers. TBLC we’re very supportive, both before the trip with a comprehensive kit list and useful tips via online videos and during trekking supporting everyone irrespective of their age and ability to achieve their goals. All done with a professional but friendly approach. I highly recommend TBLC and will happily be using them for future adventures.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for making my dream come true Going on the Gozo Scuba Diving Trip, I have to say was the most exhilarating experience I have done so far. The BLC organise everything for you, from booking your flights, transfers, accommodation and breakfast to organising with Ritual Dive for us to do a certified Open Water PADI Course. There is also an option to do the Advanced Course (this you pay extra), but in my opinion, you'd be mad not to go for it. In the week we start in their pool, then go to the bay for shallow open water skills. We went on a fantastic boat trip and dived to a shipwreck at 18 metres (I have to say that was my favourite), saw caves and have never seen so many fish, it was beautiful. Another couple of sites we went to was the The Blue Hole and Inland Sea, which were absolutely stunning. At Ritual Dive the crew are extremely welcoming, professional and with them safety is paramount. I can honestly say that with the BLC you are in very good hands from beginning to end and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Life changing experiences Wow!! I’ve just returned from Gozo after completing the PADI open water scuba diving course, I can honestly say it’s the most amazing experience I have ever done. Over the week I’ve done 9 dives and achieved the open water diver qualification which included some training in the pool, dive in open water caverns, swim throughs, P31 wreck and the blue hole reaching depths to 30meters. The whole experience was organised by the team. Transfers, accommodation, flights, courses (advanced diver is an additional cost but well worth it) and all equipment. Instalments make it easy and affordable. This really is a company who puts the customers above anything else. Since being back I’m looking to book more experience’s with them. Fantastic experience: Love this place

Fantastic experience: This was my first ever experience with the Bucket List and it certainly won't be my last. They were brilliant from start to finish. Booking was incredibly simple and they include pretty much everything including the flights if you wish (not your trekking kit, insurance, tips and a couple of meals only), which makes life so very much easier. I booked, paid by instalments so I didn't even really notice the money going out and then when all was paid and we were ready to go they took care of everything. I just turned up at the airport at the allotted time and was whisked away on the adventure of my life. The Vamoos app they load your trip details onto is excellent too. It includes all you itinerary, flight info, kit list, local info etc I was very well fed and cared for the entire trip. Bucket List team members Keith and Dave were there and looking after us brilliantly from start to finish and hats off to the local guides, cameleers, cooks etc could not do enough for us the whole time too. I have nothing to criticise, just a recommendation for any reading this to get in touch with them and book a trip. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: Wow... what can I say, one the the hardest but most enjoyable trips of my life. TBLC were a pleasure to deal with from the word go and the support Keith offered on the trip was just amazing backed up by Whitey and his merry band of porters, Booking with TBLC was easy, the only thing you have to think about is packing and turning up, they organise everything, leaving you to enjoy your trip without the hassle. I cannot thank TBLC enough and look forward to booking my next adventure to Peru shortly.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from an awesome time in Tanzania climbing Kilimanjaro. Can’t recommend this company enough. Keith and the team from Day 1 kept me updated with everything. This really is the all under one roof service. All I had to do was pack and turn up at the airport!! I wouldn’t use any other company for an adventure holiday now! Will be booking my next one very soon!

Fantastic experience: I am so glad that we chose to climb Kilimanjaro with the Bucket List Company! Before our trip the team were quick to respond to any queries (including very last minute kit queries!) and provide assurance. Our trekking group was fairly large (20). This provided a great social experience but did not impact the superb level of individual support/service provided to each member. Everything was extremely well organised from start to finish – which is very much appreciated on this sort of trip. I am thankful for this experience and will definitely book future adventures with the Bucket List Company!

Had the most incredible time, met some amazing people, and experienced things I never thought I would. Fantastic experience: A bucket list Item ticked off thanks to Keith and his team! The trip to Mount Everest was terrific. The trip was well planned and organised, and I was kept informed on all the gear and itinerary for the trip well in advance. The guides were great fun, and the camaraderie that the group had at the end was excellent; it felt like being part of a family. What I found most beneficial is the fact I could spread the cost of the trip over 18 months making it affordable and easy to budget for. I'm already looking at what the next adventure will be. Highly recommend these guys - what a great business
