I emailed my flight request into shop, Richard replied with options, I added an extra, again replied; went into shop same day to book USA and Canada flights this summer; at a very competitive price. Fantastic experience: Visited the Falkirk Branch today to book a holiday to Croatia for my daughter and I next year. The shop manager Gary took me through everything I needed to know, leaving no stone unturned, once I specified what I was looking for. Also, compared prices from different sites, for different dates, as well as different airports to ensure I was getting the best price possible for the time of year I had specified. The knowledge of the area and surrounding areas Gary had was extremely impressive, our ideal holiday was being built right in front of my eyes. Lapad was recommended for us, once I heard how easy it was to do everything from that area and how it met my specifications, it was an easy decision to select this as our destination. We read reviews and information regarding the hotel, I was shown pictures of the hotel and surrounding area, everything was pointed out to me on the map as well so I had a very clear vision of what to expect when there. Gary also went above and beyond by even showing me an app called Get Your Guide which had all the tours available to do at the time of going and advised you can book directly through it in advance so you're all set once there. Very personable, warm, welcoming and of course informative. Will absolutely be using Barrhead Travel for any future bookings as the service was amazing!

Fantastic experience: Myself and my husband went in to enquire about a holiday to Florida for our 50th birthday next year, we received great service from Joanne, she found us a hotel on International Drive gave us all the necessary information regarding parks, passes where to go ,how to get to places and visas and what she didn't know she asked her colleague to find the answer, it ended up we just booked there and then, she sent me all the paper work and made sure we had it before we left the shop. Excellent service

Nothing is too much trouble and when she says she'll do something, I have every confidence that she'll do it. She's super cheery and provides reassureance every step of the way. I won't book a holiday without running it by Amy! Barrhead Travel do all the admin and take the hassle out of booking a holiday. And they have good rates on currency too!

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a Virgin Voyages 5 night Celebration Cruise on Resilient Lady from Portsmouth to Amsterdam & Bruges. Booking with Barrhead Travel Falkirk has been brilliant from start to finish, they are always on hand with any queries. This was a Celebration Cruise with Sir Richard Branson and Boy George on the ship doing a Q&A session and also Boy George a DJ set in the Red Room,…..personally this would have been better done up on deck or in The Manor (nightclub), but it was still an excellent experience! Virgin are adult only ships and offer a wide variety of restaurants to suit every taste, which are all included in your price, unlike other cruise lines that charge for speciality restaurants! Even the ice cream counter was included ! We were lucky to book our holiday when there was a promotion on with free bar tab and sailor loot….this is a game changer ! We love Virgin Voyages and have already booked our 3rd cruise with them ❤️️

We asked for Gary on our last visit as he is so knowledgeable and gives us ideas where the best places are to visit(excursions etc). If we go in with a budget, Gary and the other staff will find us something amazing at the price we are looking for. We needed special assistance and it was sorted out practically instantly. I would recommend the Falkirk branch to anyone. They also give a good deal on holiday money. Amy whom we spoke to for ideas for holidays to take our grandsons on, contacted myself with recommendations for restaurants etc when we are away on holiday even though we went to Gary to finally pick the destination we wanted. There's no competing for sales with any of the staff, like you get elsewhere. They are all fantastic and go out their way to help.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this travel agent. The member of staff who sold us a holiday got it completely wrong, sending us to a very lively resort when we wanted a quiet location. Zero help when we raised concerns, basically left to sort things out on our own. Eventually offered a £150 voucher to book a future holiday with them…no chance! Steer clear!

Fantastic experience: My am really quite rubbish about booking things to EU. However this to me was a large amount of money to spend on a flight to Australia. Debbie checked Emirates and Qatar to get the best deals and didnt rush me and explained everything down the stops and what happens etc. She even picked up a mistake where a colleague (not naming them) was booking the wrong return date. Fantastic experience: We have used Barrhead Travel to book many trips in the last 4 years. They have always managed to book the perfect trips for us and we love the fact that they take care of all the details from the day of booking till the day the holiday starts. They are always just a phone call away if there are any questions or problems. Laura Main at our local branch in Falkirk helped us plan a trip to Japan 2 years ago. She created the perfect trip for us, a 12 day cruise in Southern Japan followed by 6 days in Tokyo. She booked a great hotel in Yokohama pre cruise and another fabulous hotel in Tokyo post cruise. Both had amazing views over the bay and the city and fitted our needs perfectly. She also booked a transfer for us from port to city after cruise finished. A few days before we set off we were informed cruise terminal had been changed, but it was not a problem for her to change thd transfer. If we had tried to put this holiday together independently, we would have had to sort all this out on our own. Laura was very professional, making sure all our requests were met. We have recently returned from our trip which exceeded our expectations. We visited many parts of Japan on the cruise and filled our 6 days in Tokyo with fabulous adventures. We were lucky to see Mt Fuji on a glorious sunny day and saw the beautiful Sukura on our last couple of days. Magic!!!! Thanks Laura and all the other members of staff in Falkirk who helped make our trip so memorable.

Fantastic experience: Joanne was exceptional she took time to understand the type of holiday we were looking for a family of 5 on a special trip celebrating my retirement. She became aware that my youngest child whose 11 years old was disengaged due to him being a type 1 diabetic and concerned about the previous negative experiences he had at security at airports in getting his insulin through the checks. She was very attentive and tried several ways to get him on board (no pun intended) as he said he didn’t like water or the sea . She persevered without being overbearing and won him over with the option of gym and free specialty coffee on the voyage . In all it was a very good experience and will definitely be back at Barrhead travel , if all goes well on my Marello cruise
