Fantastic experience: Great customer service from the lady serving me and a friendly welcome from the whole team. I managed to get advice and support that helped me to decide on, and book my holiday.

Negative experience: It's taken me two weeks to write this review for a reason. I came in with my husband to book a holiday, the younger ladies are attentive, honest and true to their word. However the older ones are rude, abrupt, ill mannered and talk down to you. We are in our 50's, experienced travellers and don't appreciate bad manners! We called into the retail park for another store and thought we would enquire for a last minute holiday. I cannot remember the lady who dealt with us but she sat dead next to the exchange counter on the right as you walk in. Becky was the only older one who was chatty and actually listened to us. The women who sat in front of her next to the money exchange counter, needs re training or a new job that is not customer focused. She was proved wrong on three occasions by my husband but still insisted she was correct and had an air of arrogance about her. I would say if you are visiting, which we won't be again, then speak to the younger women or Becky to get a nice experience.

Fantastic experience: Booked a holiday at this branch, I dealt with Lauren E who was informative and answered all my questions and took her time going through all the packages and options. Great service and I got a very healthy discount on my holiday and extras. Again I cannot recommend Lauren E enough!

I have a very indecisive husband but the ladies were very patient and understanding of our needs and also kept our children entertained whilst we decided. Even though it was getting very close to closing time we didn’t feel pressured and we can’t thank them enough for all the effort they put in to helping us out. Holiday booked happy family!

Fantastic experience: Back in January I booked our first big family holiday with the Tui team at Birstall and from the moment we made this booking the team have been there for every question we had. We had a few problems outside of Tui control and the team were there with so much reassurance and assistance. I would like to mention Becky especially because she listened to me and helped me so much when we had a problem occur 3 days before we flew. Thank you so much for helping to keep my pre holiday excitement :). Will without a doubt be booking with this Tui store again!!

Fantastic experience: Went into this store a few weeks ago just to enquire about a holiday. Dealt with Becky who was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful - we didnt have a clue what we wanted, but she knew all the questions to ask and made some great recommendations. Whilst we didn't book anything (yet!) I will deffo go back and book with them as I prefer dealing with someone and having them do it all for me, and I'm confident I'll be in safe hands with Becky

Fantastic experience: I asked Becky for some advice on a few holiday resorts in Antalya. She came back to me so quickly with prices and other resorts which were more in my budget. Fantastic experience: I went to the Birstall store today (Saturday). I knew roughly where I wanted to go (Fuerteventura). I was in the store ages as I had a good choice of hotels. Charmaine was so helpful, polite, professional and patient which is great. I normally go to the Forster square store but this store is much closer to me. It’s a smaller store but the staff are really nice and know what they are talking about. It’s good when staff have a really good knowledge of holidays. Thank you Charmaine for looking after my holiday needs. I shall book my future holidays with you.

Fantastic experience: I phoned the main TUI customer service line to book our holiday and was put through to the TUI store in Birstall where I spoke to Eloise who booked our holiday in 2 bookings for my family. She was so bubbly, friendly and so efficient. She was so happy on the phone giving great vibes to us as customers, a real asset to TUI. We decided to book a second holiday and I had no hesitation on phoning the store directly to speak to Eloise to book it. A fabulous customer service experience, can’t wait for our holidays now! Thankyou Eloise and thankyou TUI. We always book with TUI, a great experience from ease of booking, flights, transfers and hotels to getting home again!

Fantastic experience: A fabulous Tui team here at Birstal. Positioned on the top floor of Next you are greeted by friendly professional staff. The customer service is second to none and they really go out of their way to help you. My Fiance and I were both looking for a honeymoon for next year and Nicole one of the team looked after us. Nicole effortlessly guided us through multiple options. We knew we were in capable hands and she took the time to really find out precisely what we were looking for. Nothing was too much trouble, fabulous customer service and we were delighted with the result. A great experience all round and i would highly recommend booking your next holiday here at Birstal. Fantastic experience: We popped in to print our cruise luggage labels off as we fly in a week, we weren’t able to do that as they had not yet been issued which wasn’t a problem While there We needed to change the month on my wife’s DOB as it was wrong on the booking Nicola did this for us while we waited she rang the main TUI desk & it was sorted in a few minutes. Nicola was great brilliant natural & chatty with her service.

Fantastic experience: We visited Tui in Birstall looking for help & advice on a cruise as this was our first cruising holiday . Nicola couldn’t have been more helpful explaining everything we wanted to know & really going into detail . Most important she listened and picked up on my hesitation particularly as I wasn’t sure cruising was for me . During the time between booking & actually going on the cruise , we contacted or visited the store a few times and spoke to different staff all who were super efficient and delivered a great service . I’m pleased to say we’ve now been on the cruise and everything Nicola had said was spot on and we loved Explorer 2 doing the Adriatic Affair itinerary . We made memories that’ll last a lifetime and we’re hooked on cruising ! Thanks again Tui - Birstall , that’s customer service at its best right there .

Fantastic experience: One very excited and happy family!! We visited Tui Birstall last week and WOW! Such a breath of fresh air to walk into a shop and everyone be so helpful and friendly! From start to finish we were listened to and given superb advice and tips for our forthcoming trip! Retail shops are dreadful to walk into these days as quiet often people just cannot be bothered! However, the service and friendliness we have received was so lovely and second to none! Even the manager Katie (I think she’s called) was excellent! Fantastic experience: The member of staff Taylor was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and would 10000% recommend her to everyone. The experience we had was so good we were trying to convince our friends to book on with us when we got home!

Negative experience: staff is extremely unhelpful, holiday has been cancelled in June, and we weren't aware of it until we had 3 days to the departure. Prior to that, we have been at the branch plenty of times, brought travel insurance for the trip they have cancelled and they didn't bother to update us then, instead they took the money not saying anything. Now, they have called us to come in to do a check in, 10 minutes into doing the check in they have said its cancelled. Lucy and Alison (the 'manager') were trying to say that they have contacted us about said cancellation, when in reality they haven't and instead we were asked in to complete documentation for the holiday. So far this is the worst TUI branch i have ever encountered and will definitely take it further with TUI to find out how and why it happened.

Birstall is not exactly local to me, but great service is worth travelling to. we will definitely be booking more holidays here

Fantastic experience: Came in to look at prices on package holidays with my fiancé. i was looked after by Olivia who had brilliant knowledge. She provided us with all the information we could possibly need and recommended some amazing holiday destinations. However we were unable to book due to some surprising baby news!!!!

Fantastic experience: The hotel is beautiful a little paradise would recommend it and definitely come here again and it was through TUI, well done TUI whoop whoop.

Negative experience: We booked a package holiday through them , only to receive an email stating flight has been cancelled. They could not get us on another Tui flight due to Tui cancelling all flights to Greece . We ended up paying a futher £800 on flight to fly with easy jet which was not covered by Tui . The staff at this branch are rude impatient and totally unhelpful. We were offered no compensation at all and were given the options of cancelling or paying the extra cost . They sent us an alternate holiday at £3100.00 but when check via Tui website it stated the exact same holiday was £1300 cheap online then what they sent us . Please avoid Tui and this branch at all cost . Complete scam of a company with no decent customer care at all .
