Fantastic experience: We have recently booked our holiday at TUI Lakeside and we had Shama as our agent. She was lovely and she helped us not just to book the holiday but she helped us with the insurance and also the parking at the airport. She also spoken to us about activities and trips that we could take while on holiday which was nice to know about. She has good manners and she treated us with respect. Fantastic experience: We recently had a small problem we needed to speak to tui about. So made an appointment to see Maxine our usual travel advisor at Tui Lakeside. Maxine dealt with the problem very efficiently and as usual in a very professional manner. Thank you so much Maxine, if ever we need anything dealt with, we can certainly rely on you and you are definitely our number 1 travel advisor, who we know we can rely on time and time again. We will never book with anyone else and highly recommend Maxine to deal with any query or booking that we you may have and would recommend her to anyone booking a Tui holiday.

Fantastic experience: Visited the lakeside store on Monday to book a holiday for September. All staff were friendly and helpful. We sat down with Megan and discussed the holiday options. Megan made notes on what we wanted and asked lots of questions to make sure she knew what we looked for in a holiday. We settled on a hotel in Crete and Megan made the whole process simple. Hotel booked, flights checked, extra legroom seats booked. Megan was very friendly and professional and I would recommend friends and family to see her for their holiday requirements

Fantastic experience: I would like to say a big thank you to Jade at lakeside for her help tonight with booking a surprise cruise for my parents. She was very patient, polite and professional. Specially as the p&o systems went down and had to re do the booking 3 times. I have to say that I have booked with the lakeside branch several times over the last few years. They are always amazing. Shout out to charlotte and Daisy that also helped with my parents booking earlier on in the year.

Negative experience: DO NOT EXCHANGE YOUR MONEY AT TUI. Be cautious when exchanging holiday money at this location. We agreed to exchange £500 GBP to Mexican pesos through TUI, only to receive a poor exchange rate, resulting in a loss of about £40. Local TUI branch does not offer the same rates as presented on TUI website. Lesson learned: I trusted TUI to offer competitive rates without comparing with other options. Don't make the same mistake!

Fantastic experience: Doing a spot of Christmas shopping and stopped in store for some advice on booking a multi generational holiday for a group of us. Seth was extremely helpful & knowledgeable and we came away with a holiday to look forward to in the new year. Thank you

Negative experience: Never recommend!!!! The hotel is 4 stars but looks like 2 stars ! Too much money we paid for nothing and very cold in the room too!!!!

Negative experience: Terrible experience. We won’t be using this store again. Staff standing round taking while customers are not being served. While talking to a member of staff she just stopped our concersation to answer the phone. Very lazy, almost like they couldn’t be bothered.

Fantastic experience: Came in to book our wedding for 2025. Maxine was absolutely fantastic. I was extremely nervous as I’m quite picky, but Maxine helped out every way she possibly could, and didn’t mind when we changed our minds 100 times she made us calm, and reassured throughout it all. Fantastic experience: I visited the Lakeside store a couple of weeks ago to book an unaccompanied flight for my 16 year old daughter to go and visit her friend in Cyprus. Earlier that day I’d been told by a member of staff at the Basildon store that this wasn’t possible and that Tui are more of a package holiday company and if I wanted just a flight for my daughter then I should look to book with Easijet!!!!! I decided to phone the Lakeside store and I’m so glad I did. Maxine was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and assured me that they could book the flight, it just meant I had to go into store to complete a form. On arrival at the store, Maxine had everything ready and waiting and was able to get us squeezed in to go through all the details. I found Maxine to be warm and friendly and nothing was too much bother. She helped us to sort out the holiday insurance cover too at a minimal cost. Thank you so much Maxine - your help and advice was really appreciated!

Negative experience: Absolutely rude staff. Would never use lakeside Tui again. Not surprised why most of times when passing them it is emty. Very bad atmosphere. Last time not even bothered to send holiday packaging to my email. Call them twice still nothing. So booked with another company. 2 times disgusting service not going to use them again in Lakeside. I got all help online today.

I was feeling anxious about the whole process, but by the end of my appointment with her I was feeling super excited. She explained everything so well. Fantastic experience: We were looking for some inspiration for our holiday, and Maxine came up with some really great ideas including the cruise we are really looking forward to. Her after sales service has been spot on. Having booked a TUI holiday online and now in person the personal touch made a massive difference and I would recommend visiting the store in if possible seeing Maxine.

She was genuinely interested in my issues as a customer and clarified everything for me. She was very considerate and apologetic when having to answer external calls to store on her headset. She gave me an excellent customer experience, despite having to manage competing demands on her time.

Fantastic experience: First time i have visited the Tui lakeside branch to be greated by a lovely young lady i beleive to be called Leigh. Im a very well experienced Tenerife traveller but wanted to visit somewhere new and different for my partners 60th birthday celebrations. As was travelling with family and young grandchildren i wanted something special and great for kids. I can't recommend Leigh enough, her knowledge and friendlyness was commendable and felt very at easy and comfortable with her recommendations to a lovely in Crete. I would not hesitate in returning to book with Leigh in the future.
