Fantastic experience: What a fantastic company Freedom Destinations is! I emailed with my travel plans, including dates and destinations. They put an itinerary together for me and my husband, which included flights, transport from and to some airports, and hotels in Singapore, cairns and Bali. Everything worked like clockwork. The hotels were fabulous. Will definitely use them again.

Negative experience: Our trip around Victoria Falls and South Africa was well sold to us, but hotels and transport especially were far short of the quality we were promised and expected for the price paid. Our "Waterfront" hotel in Cape Town was a 35-minute dangerous walk from the actual waterfront, and shuttles only available hourly. The rooms were far too small for a 5 day stay. Virtually every other hotel on our garden route trip had room problems. Hotels with hard beds, poor showers, poor lighting, lack of space. The Safari accommodation at Kariega Lodge was filthy, and despite requests for cleaning, repairs to lighting, and shower maintenance, nothing occurred. Add to this an uncomfortable small transporter with a lack of legroom and small windows for our garden route journey, and you can understand why I cannot recommend this travel company. Much profit for them, a holiday seriously lacking for you!

Fantastic experience: Well organised and handled by extremely helpful staff. The arrangements all made for you at first class hotels and Airways. Wonderful opportunities to visit the most amazing places. As a solo traveller everything was so well organised and the peace of mind that there will be a kind friendly face to meet and escorts you on tours and transfers. I cannot praise them enough for their efficiency in arranging the most wonderful holiday .

Fantastic experience: We took a risk as I'd never heard of Freedom and asked them to put together a tailor made itinerary for Vietnam and Cambodia. It was excellent in every respect - both with the pre tour planning and in delivery. We had a fantastic time, went to places we would not have considered and could not have done this ourselves for the price. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Ten months ago I booked a safari and beach holiday in Kenya with Freedom Destinations and I have just got back with the memories of a wonderful trip. From start to finish the company were helpful and the arrangements for. travel, hotels and safari worked out perfectly. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing holiday in Laos, arranged by Freedom Destinations. An 8 day private tour followed by a few nights in Vientiane and then Bangkok, superb guides and drivers, airport transfers, a mid-holiday change of plan all went smoothly and the whole experience was first class. Pricing was very reasonable, we felt as though we’d had our money’s worth and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: The Freedom Destinations representative listened to our needs and preferences and created a perfect itinerary for us throughout our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. The choice of hotels was excellent and we received a high quality service everywhere. We were met at every stage of our tour by drivers and tour guides who ensured that we had a hassle-free experience and we learned alot about the local culture from them . I cannot fault the holiday provision; we have wonderful memories of our trip.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank the people from Freedom Destinations enough for organising my trip to Thailand to celebrate my 60th birthday. I told them where I wanted to go and for how long and they did the rest. I chose my hotels from the list on their website and even asked to change from one hotel to another a couple of months before going. All tickets were sent in plenty of time and the arrangements and transfers at the airports were flawless. I had five flights in all during my trip!! They even changed my flight home during my holiday which I can't thank them enough for. Nothing was too much trouble. I can highly recommend them to organise any holiday and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Negative experience: We had a lovely holiday with these guys in Africa , safari was good but guide was crap, never stopped for us to take pictures, we were supposed to get two trips a day hence we're given a none eatable lunch, after this we were then taken back to our lodge so our driver could put his feet up for the afternoon, we then watched other tourists coming back to the lodge 3hrs later having seen more wildlife and actually got what they paid for. Our campsite in the serengeti was brilliant, zebra in the morning walking past the tent, on the morning after arrival however we discovered the staff had placed mine and my partners bags under a leak in the tent, everything was wet and unwearable, the only clothes we could wear was those we arrived in, no problem your in the serengeti, but dry clothes had to be put around the back of the bed, on leaving because of were we left our clothes a little hoody was left we asked for this to be returned as it had sentimental valueBUT the cost is out of this world!!!! I trusted this company BUT no longer and so shouldn't you, if things go wrong

Negative experience: I got in touch with freedom destinations over 4 weeks ago for a quote for canada. I've never heard anything from them. I messaged them. Still didn't hear anything. What a waste of a phone call and time, giving all the information. They are just not interested. They are a waste of time.

Fantastic experience: Hi all at Freedom destinations especially Frank who sorted a trip for me to (Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand) having just coming back yesterday Monday 28th all I can say is the biggest thank you to each and everyone who works there from the first plane to the last it has just been so well run. Got picked up at one airport dropped at hotel and picked up again from country to county a boat trip as well I had doubts at first as I am in my sixties but no worries at all it was the best trip ever all the hotels were brilliant it was first class all the way can't thank you all enough especially Frank thanks again if I ever going to book or know anyone going to book you will be the first place I come to once again thank you all so much.

They knew the area (Tennessee) and booked fantastic central and iconic hotels, air travel, car hire and tickets for Gracelands as well. Fantastic experience: First time using freedom destinations and am 100% completely satisfied, from booking to the actual holiday everything was handled brilliantly. We chose a safari and beach holiday in Kenya (capital to coast). The whole holiday was so much more than we ever imagined, from seeing the animal in their natural habitat, to the amazing scenery (especially Mount Kilimanjaro). The hotels were stunning and authentic. The beach resort was a great way to relax and unwind after a full on week. Cannot recommend both the company and holiday highly enough.

Negative experience: Ask for a quote for our trip to Australia got one over phone didn’t think this was very professional but then only to be told the holiday may increase in costs but won’t come down . What’s the point ?? In giving a quote got two or three quotes all with dates times sent in a email

Fantastic experience: Matt made everything so easy and simple. He made a route so we could tour the north and South Island of NZ. We changed it around as I kept changing my mind. Matt did everything for us. Booked all of our tours, hotels , flights, ferry and hired our car. All we had to do was turn up and enjoy ourselves.

Fantastic experience: Having returned from a trip of a lifetime to Australia & New Zealand booked through Freedom Destinations we would like to pass on our feedback. Freedom Destinations have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. We found them online and we will admit we were a bit concerned using a company we had not heard of but we shouldn’t have been. We discussed a rough itinerary with them making numerous changes over a period of several weeks before settling on a final itinerary. We wanted to break the long flights up with stop overs and the agent suggested we flew to Auckland via San Francisco, something we had not thought of but it turned out to be a great suggestion. They happily accommodated periods within our holiday where we stayed with family rather than them booking accommodation. They even accommodated a last-minute change to the car hire less than 2 weeks before travel. Once we had booked and paid for our flights, we received the flight booking reference straight away without asking so we could pre book our plane seats. The car hire collection (both Australia and New Zealand) and hotels check-ins (all 14 of them) went without any issues. Freedom Destination have been so helpful and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The hotels were amazing and the choice of each destination was exactly what we wanted. Most importantly the pickups and transfers were faultless and the guides extremely helpful and friendly. Fantastic experience: Everything we booked with Freedom was absolutely spot on and there were no problems whatsoever, which has never been the case for me with long haul travel! Such a superb honeymoon in South Africa, couldn't reccommend them highly enough. Took all the stress away whilst we planned our own wedding (and left for honeymoon only 8 hours after the party finished!)

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a superb holiday in New Zealand, all the arrangements went well. We have previously traveled independently and appreciated that we could ask Freedom Destinations to arrange the holiday essentials such as flights, ferry train connections and key hotels. They combined the 4 flights and booked under 1 airline to get us a good "Round the World" deal. We were then able to "fill in the gaps" with motels and attractions after we had decided our exact itinerary. All of the accommodation they selected was better than we had expected. Ellie was very helpful, and patiently answered our many questions.

Fantastic experience: From the moment we made an initial enquiry regarding a trip to New Zealand and Australia Freedom Destinations have been 1st Class. I asked quite a few questions, and probably got on their nerves. However, every time they came back quickly and responded in an efficient and knowledgeable manner with the answer I needed. When one of the hotels we had booked in Queenstown had roadworks outside they asked if we wished to change hotels which we did. This was done with minimum fuss and again quickly and efficiently. Freedom Destinations organised our flights, car hire, ferry (between North & South Islands) and hotels. Everything worked out perfectly and all of the paperwork I had from them was correct. We thank Freedom Destinations for a great, well organised trip and would highly recommend using them. We certainly will be. Negative experience: Avoid booking with them. We are still away on our holiday and so far most things have not been right. No replys back from emails to freedom destination regarding any of the issues raised. Just arrived at the second part of our three part trip after an awful first part to find out they haven't actually booked the trip requested but the basic package down from what we had spoken about when we called to book. We wish we had listened to the people that told us not to go with them but we are always happy to give people a chance. Now we are stuck on what is supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime which is fast turning into the worst holiday we have been on

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Freedom Destinations enough, we used them for our trip to Vietnam for my 60th birthday & from start to finish the service was impeccable from touching down in Hanoi to being taken to Hochi Min City departures we’ve no complaints all, hotels,guides,trips it was all perfect, so much so I am going to use them again for my wife’s 60th, thanks to all for a great trip.

Excellent service from our initial conversation to arriving back home after one of the most memorable trips. We have been long haul travellers for nearly 30 years, used many companies and Freedom Destinations has been one of the best. Everything worked, always on time , Great drivers and guides. Lovely hotels and some unforgettable experiences. Our agent Jazzmin was really helpful, friendly and gave us great advice, based on experience. We chose the KL 3 days , Borneo 8 day tour, Singapore 3 days and Langkawi 7 days trip. Our recommended KL hotel -The Trader’s was excellent. We signed up for the Batu Temple tour, really good thoughtful guide – a good start. Borneo was magical , surpassed all expectations Our Guides Helmut, Jake and Walter were outstanding. So friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Turtle island , The Orangutan sand Sunbear sanctuaries, Sukau boat cruises [got some superb wildlife pictures] Sabah tea plantation with sunrise views of Mount Kinabalu- wow. Singapore was excellently organised. Then Pelangi Beach Resort . absolutely stunning. The location is perfect quiet, yet within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The staff were super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms, the gardens, the pools , the restaurants were excellent. It was a superb trip, excellently organised. Would not hesitate to recommend the company or the hotels.

I chose to visit Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, since I have never been to Australia before, she suggested attractions to visit in those destinations. She offered to book excursions as well. I received an excellent service from them, I would surely recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: We Traveled to Vietnam in February with Freedom Destinations and had the most amazing experience. Right from the start, booking the holiday and finalising details to arriving at each destination and being met by our guides. Lee was our first guide in Hanoi, lovely young guy, then we met Elvis in DaBang/Hoi An and last but not least we had “Hi -Hello in Ho Chi Minh, I think his name was harder to pronounce! Each guide was very knowledgeable of each place we visited. Our vist was full on and quite fast paced, but we enjoyed every minute of it and saw and learnt so much. We finished off with a lovely beach break in Phu Quoc to recharge our batteries. Will definitely be using Freedom Destinations again.

Fantastic experience: We booked a holiday to Thailand with Freedom Destinations and highly recommend them. I had the basic idea of a holiday, built around spending a few days with family, and their travel consultant Millie sorted the perfect holiday around it. From the flights with Eva Air, all the transfers and her hotel/resort recommendations tailored around my basic ideas - everything ran smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. It was great to have everything arranged on our behalf - all we needed to do was to turn up at the airport. We would 100% book through this company again.

Fantastic experience: Wow Wow Wow I am so happy I chose Freedom Destination as the travel company to organise by trip to Thailand. From the first email sent requesting a Taylor made itinerary the response was excellent even when I suggested some slight changes nothing was a problem and all was put into place including transfers from airports, hotels and ferry ticket bookings. These all ran smoothly with great communication from resort rep's. Communication was excellent emails and telephone calls answered straight away nothing was to much trouble. I am so glad I found this company and will continue to use Freedom Destination for years to come. Totally recommend Freedom Destination for your travels.

Fantastic experience: I contacted Freedom after being let down by another Company. I wanted a 4day wildlife adventure in Borneo and thanks to Briony, that's exactly what we got. I explained what I wanted from the holiday and Briony found the ideal one. She even managed to get flights that the previous company said were not available. From the moment we were met on arrival to the departure gate when leaving, the service was amazing. A personal tour guide stayed with us throughout our adventure, showing us unbelievable views of the rainforest and it's wildlife. I would definitely recommend Freedom Destinations and look forward to dealing with them again.

Fantastic experience: Our holiday experience with Freedom Destinations in Thailand was brilliant. As older travellers we can sometimes be a little nervous about venturing too far away from home but the comprehensive information that Freedom provided for us gave us complete confidence to make full use of a wonderful time away. We were given a wide choice of holiday venues which we were able to discuss with the knowledgeable and helpful representatives beforehand. The Beyond Resort Krabi hotel was a great setting with its comfortable room, beautiful sea views and lovely staff who were always ready to address any worries we had. From Krabi we travelled on to the spectacular Phi Phi Island with a flawless taxi and ferry transfer. Our stay at Phi Phi Natural Resort hotel was easy going and gentle with our own outside space overlooking a wonderful view (a full moon at night and some amazing sunrises too!) of the sea and the constant music of waves on a rocky shore really added to the experience, proving once again that the initial advice and information provided when booking was fully accurate. Our local contact was always on hand and quick to reply when we needed to ask anything and hotel staff too always ready to help with any additional information. Both hotels knew about Freedom Destinations, and with ferry tickets and timings always being placed in our hand, and reminders given about where and when we had to be, always gave us the impression that we were being well looked after as a result. The journey back home to the UK could have been complicated, with two ferries, a taxi and two flights all in one day, but once again our reliable guides always appeared at the right time and place to make sure that everything went to plan. Thanks again to an amazing team at Freedom Destinations for oiling the wheels so smoothly for us and providing a very special holiday which we will always remember.

Fantastic experience: We turned to Freedom Destinations for our Australia holiday after struggling with other travel companies, and my Mum recommended them. We filled out a form online giving an idea of what we wanted to do and within minutes Ellie gave us a call to discuss everything. She then went away and came up with an itinerary. What we really liked was that where other companies just put places in the order we had listed them, Ellie suggested reordering things slightly as she knew it would work better. She was so knowledgeable. That saved us a great deal on flights alone. Nothing was too much trouble and we soon came up with a plan we were happy with. We loved the fact that there was no hard selling or trying to pressure us into doing particular things, it was just how we wanted rather than trying to rush us into anything. Any questions we had Ellie replied to emails very quickly or we could just give her a call. This trip was a bucket list holiday for my husband following his incurable cancer diagnosis, so it was so important that everything went right. While we were away everything was a breeze. All the arrangements were spot on, the hotels we stayed in were fantastic and in great locations. The trips we booked were all brilliant, pick ups bang on time and with really good professional companies. We really had the most amazing time, and Freedom Destinations quite simply made my husband's dreams come true, and we can't thank them enough. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.

Fantastic experience: We gave Freedom Desinations a very very short brief of what we wanted to do for our holiday/safari and they exceeded any and every expectation we could have had. Fantastic experience: I booked a tailor made holiday to Australia with Freedom Destinations and the service received throughout the whole process from start to finish was excellent. They were very quick to respond to emails and when an excursion was cancelled due to bad weather, they refunded the cost very promptly. They seem a very well organized company with country experts helping with planning of the holiday and efficient administration staff dealing with payments and paperwork. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Went to Vietnam on an itinerary put together by Freedom Destinations and were so well looked after from landing to leaving. All the accommodation was great and the guides looked after everything for us. We had a few forced changes because of internal flight alterations but the staff at FD handled everything and kept in touch throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending Freedom Destinations to anybody and look forward to booking with them in the future.

Fantastic experience: What a fantastic holiday!! Freedom Destinations booked everything including flights, hotels, car and excursions, the whole process from beginning to end was absolutely seamless. Hotels were great, excursions and recommendations were fantastic as well as the suggested time in each city/village was just enough to see and do everything we wanted to. Cannot recommend Freedom Destinations high enough and this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end.

Fantastic experience: For the second year running we have had an amazing experience with Freedom Destinations for our major month long holiday. They listened to our ideas of what we wanted, compiled an interesting itinerary, discussed tweaks to it depending on what we wanted to prioritise, arranged all the “niggly bits” which significantly reduced my stress (flights, hotel bookings, car hire, RV hire etc) and the excursions and hikes they recommended were fabulous. Will definitely use them again for 2024!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service from initial enquiries to arriving home from the holiday of a lifetime. Christine listened carefully to our preferences and put together a perfect package tailored and tweaked to our requests. Freedom provided good advice for visa applications and safari requirements which helped our pre-departure planning and the facility to pay the balance by online transfer was easy. The hotels were well chosen and the mix of ‘city/safari/beach’ over the two weeks was a brilliant itinerary. All local transfers and arrangements went smoothly. We’ll definitely be using Freedom for our next big trip.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough just how happy we all were with our 3wk holiday to Thailand. From the initial idea and speaking to Daniella to the ease of paying and quick communication with any queries I had. Everything went so well, even when my son left his bag with phone and money inside at Bangkok airport the readiness and speed at which it was returned was impressive and certainly not lost on us, with constant communication via WhatsApp to let me know where his bag was at any given moment, and also with texts 24hrs earlier to let us know about any transfers The organisation and communication from Freedom Destinations and the representatives from Destination Asia was very impressive, its certainly up there with one of our best holidays and we will almost certainly be booking through them again Many thanks Russell thomas and family

Fantastic experience: Excellent from start to finish. Maritha was brilliant, so helpful Everything was well organised, ran to time. As a lone female traveller I felt completely safe. Met at airport, delivered back to airport and safari in between was above and beyond my expectations.

Negative experience: AWFUL… AVOID so unhelpful!!! Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. They miss sold a package holiday disregarding what we asked for, pushed for a sale and when we questioned they refused to help put it right! Completely ruined our trip don’t want them to do the same to anyone else please avoid!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I have used Freedom Destinations on two occasions now, to book holidays to Vietnam. There service is excellent. The team are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We have booked several trips and excursion with them, all of which have been excellent. Fantastic experience: We booked a 2 week holiday with Freedom Destinations for summer 2003. In comparison with other companies they were able to offer us a tailor made holiday that suited our needs and travel arrangements. All the staff we dealt with were knowledgeable and extremely helpful with all of the small questions we had whilst initially booking the holiday and thereafter. We had a fantastic 2 weeks in Vancouver, Jasper and Banff. All of the hotels booked were in great locations and the excursions were all fabulous. Everything about the holiday ran smoothly and it was great to know that everything had been arranged for us ( hotels, day trips to whale watching, car hire x2. Overnight Train travel from Vancouver to Jasper) we then just booked all the extra things we wanted to do around FD travel arrangements. I would highly recommend Freedom Destinations to friends and family.

Negative experience: We are due to fly to California and Hawaii next week. The resort we’re booked at in Hawaii has been heavily affected by the current fires. 80% of the town has been burnt down, no power. Horrible for the local community. I just wanted some honest info on what the situation was, how it would impact travel and if we had some other options. The current response from FD is - your hotel is unaffected but we’re monitoring the situation. (not true, the power is out, it’s surrounded by devastation and is closed for at least a week) They then state if we want to change our travel plans - they’ll charge us for the pleasure. Seemingly happy to send us to a location without power, in the middle of a major crisis and make some extra cash out of a terrible event. I had to contact the hotel directly, they gave me a simple and quick answer on what the situation was. Really poor from FD - won’t be using them again. In fact - I’ve decided most travel agents aren’t worth it. Just book direct - you’ll save money and in the long run, it’s less hassle.

Fantastic experience: We did the Cape Town, Whales and Wine tour in July 2023 - what am amazing experience !! Freedom Destinations booked the perfect hotels in great locations, arranged excursions for us like a 1 night stay at the Aquilla Game Reserve and a full day Cape of Good Hope Peninsula tour which were also amazing. We absolutely loved South Africa, and wouldn't hesitate to return again. Will also use Freedom Destinations again in the future as they took all the hassle out of the booking/planning process and used their knowledge and expertise to make this an awesome holiday.

Fantastic experience: Freedom destinations are one of the best Travel agencies I have ever used. Very helpful staff and our holiday was one of the best. When complaints had been given to them we were offered other accommodation and given a choic e so acted on this straight away. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Did the Borneo and Bali tour, with additional Mount Batur Sunrise Trek ... absolutely brilliant! We were looked after superbly both with the arrangements here in OK and with the local Borneo/Bali guides. Would thoroughly recommend this trip for the exceptional experiences ... a first class trip all round. We will definitely be looking at Freedom Destinations again for future trips.
