Positive experience: Tried get a place but no one come back but it is a great place

Fantastic experience: 11 Beechwood Road. Exceptional bungalow at this price point. Situated in a peaceful cul de sac, this is very clean and well maintained property with really good furniture and fittings. It is spacious inside and has a lovely rear outside seating area with nice country views. The bathroom is well fitted with a good shower but there is no bath. The kitchen / diner is nice and roomy and has very good appliances including an enormous fridge/freezer. The living room includes a 40” smart tv and very good free WiFi. We had a great stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

Negative experience: I would never stay in one of there places again it was dirty didn't smell nice at all the bathroom was a deathtrap there was no point telling the office as they didn't really care and the one I stayed in was ran down print missing off the walls no pedo protectors mattress protectors on the beds so carefree holidays never again.. If anyone thinking about using them

Positive experience: We have been coming for over 15 years to Carefree Belle Aire Hemsby. We always enjoy ourselves, the chalets have improved greatly and there are good takeaways near by. We go before Easter so always pack hot water bottles and jumpers as the chalets can get chilly.

Negative experience: The room was freezing we never stayed we went to a hotel

Fantastic experience: Mothers' Union members fund holidays for those who would otherwise be unable to afford one. We in the Peterborough Diocese have been sending families to Carefree Holidays for a number of years now and the feedback we have had regarding Carefree Holidays, both the site and the staff, has been excellent. Comments from families include 'the accommodation was very comfortable', 'wonderful holiday', the staff were helpful', 'the people near our chalet were so friendly', 'the chalet is lovely' and so on. In organising these holidays, I have had contact with all the staff team and have always found them to be helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure 'our' families enjoy their stay. I have visited the site and been impressed by the cleanliness of the accommodation and the facilities for guests, including the large grassy area with children's play equipment. Fantastic experience: Just spent a lovely week on Belle Air through carefree and booked again for next year the people in the office are really helpful would highly recommend carefree for your holiday

Positive experience: Toilet was block for a week, we even got given keys to another chalet which had guests in. Not the the friendliest and not helpful.

Negative experience: Stayed in challet 88, it had a for sale sign up in the window I rang to enquire a booking anch challet was in process of the sale, had problems with shower door and mattress was sorted within in the hour but when I rang up and told them what happend there was no appolige and also when spoke to Tony he was rude because I told him I was not happy paying what I paid for a challet that wasn't cleaned probably or checked,when I went to hand my keys in I asked to speak to a manger above Tony but he had just left there wasn't no contact details for him, would not use them again,was first time booking with them and did not fell welcomed

Fantastic experience: Amazing holiday. Chalet beautiful, with the added bonus of veranda and outdoor seating. All very clean and decorated throughout. The play park was great for the kids and live entertainment at club very good. We have had such a brilliant time, just booked again for next year. The kids were sad to be leaving, our youngest even cried and said it was the best holiday she'd had and did not want to leave.

Negative experience: Had a chalet on belle aire no 46 stayed on belle aire many times on arriving and told chalet had been cleaned found hair brush and lighter under cushion of settee underneath settee a my little pony kids handbag and pair of scissors the toilet didn't flush properly the oven didn't work all in all it was a poor chalet

Fantastic experience: Been here about a dozen times over the years always stayed in a chalet. This time the kids and I stayed in no16 caravan. No problems at all. Kids loved it. Caravan very clean on arrival. Lady on the reception desk on arrival was very friendly and gave the kids lollipops. If going into Yarmouth pleasure beach get the open top bus from outside great deal and saves parking the car

Negative experience: We stayed at belle aire for a week from 11-09-21 to 18-09 21 we were given caravan 45 which seems to be an owners caravan on arrival the caravan was very smoky. all windows opened, there was covers over the settee and chair which were not clean, this l requested to be sorted next day and this was done so no complaint there, the toilet seat broke on the 14.-09.21 and was reported by number given up to leaving on 18.09.21 not replaced. the a carpets were dirty had split drinks and were marked. I felt as if l should be complaining all the time and on holiday so have left it till end of holiday, lots of issues with this caravan very grubby and dirty on outside, l cleaned just to make our stay better l left a long note with the cleaners asking Tony to get in touch not sure is this has been passed on poor value for money, I was told by someone who has an accommodation an old lady had this caravan but has died, on looking through cupboards l find prescribed medication for this lady dated 2018, carefree was a recommendation that l feel has let us down lots more to discuss ring me Tony Thank you Tony for speaking to me earlier and advising that all our issues are now being dealt with, thank you for you apology and discount for next holiday with carefree

Negative experience: My self and my partner stayed at there bungalow and it was clean but when we open the door it smelt very mildew and damp and noticed there was lavender bags on the coat hooks obviously to hide the smell ,, I became ill after a few days with bad chest as the damp.got to my chest cos I got bad lungs and I spoke to one of the neighbours who said they have had to keep.there window open as there bungalow was also damp.etc , I thought I would mention it to the owner cos I had to terminate my holiday on the Friday instead of the Saturday which I was paid up until and the owner said that his places was never damp cos he had cleaners in once a week.i tried to be polite to him and explain that he should come round and check it for himself but he said he was busy and was gonna go.homr snd eat his dinner I explained that if we would of known the bungalow was damp I wouldn't of stayed as I got lung fibrosis and emphasemia but he said it was brick built and couldn't of got damp in them and that I was only one to ever moan in 30 yrs etc bit he was aragant and it totally made us both ill and I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy staying there cos if there is a problem the owner will call you a lier and argue with you snf make you found like your lying and I explained I get that bleaners go in and clean bug that font stop dampness do if anyone is thinking of using carefree holidays I would advise them to find a accommodation rlsewhete as our holiday was ruined and owner could care less and for further info look through other people's reviews and your see the owner I'd not worried as long as he took my 570 for the week that was ill he cared about

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a week at Belle aire chalets at Hemsby. The chalet was spotlessly on arrival. A lovely gated veranda which was ideal as took 2 small dogs. The site is ideally situated near shops, bars an the beach. We had a small issue with the mattress being very hard. Spoke to the Carefree staff in the office who were excellent. A brand new mattress was delivered to our chalet, also the cleaners came with fresh bedding. Absolutely delighted with this company. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back soon.

Fantastic experience: I love carefree holidays using them for many years and have been with them through them building their website and having a customer portal. The website is ready to navigate and you can download their newest brochure instantly. Booking is a breeze although you do have to include all the extras such as bedding which is often mandatory. I think if that's the case it should already been included in the price of holiday and for the cost price of the holiday by the amount of the mandatory items. Eg. (NOT actual prices) £450 base cost then mandatory bedding £20 total £470. The bedding shouldn't be excluded in the cost anything else like highchairs ect should be shown separately. Of course due to covid prices have gone up, but are still reasonable in todays holiday market. Hopefully will go down slightly in coming year. Short break holidays are really good value, please Tony keep these as such but again do add the mandatory bedding to the original price instead of extra. Please all enjoy your holidays with carefree they're an excellent company and small company with a friendly can do attitude and gives you the personal touch. Il look forward to booking with them in the near future.

Negative experience: We've been here on several occasions and the accommodation is very tired.There is an element that make your time there very uncomfortable, you're not made to feel welcome.I for one will not be coming back.

Positive experience: I have used Carefree approximately 8 times now when staying in the Great Yarmouth area.A couple of times the chalets weren't that great but the rest of they time were excellent.The staff at Carefree are helpful and friendly and do a good job.I would recommend using them.

Negative experience: Very expensive for what you get. Pay 5.00 to get into the club before you buy a drink. Dirty duvet, chalets too close together. Practically claustraphobic. The seadell site duncan foley next door is much nicer bigger chalets and cheaper. I'll definetly be staying at the seadell from now on

Negative experience: Stayed here over Christmas. Couldn't recommend less. The heating failed and the electricity cards didn't work (even the replacements provided) mould growing everywhere, water pouring down the bathroom, dog bed soaked, nothing to cook with, mismatch furniture - frankly the brochure sent through should be classed as false advertising. Ended up coming home early ruining Christmas. I wouldn't even let my dog stay there any longer. Been coming to Hemsby for over 25+ years and this place is a disgrace. It might be suitable in the summer when heating isn't an issue and mould may not be as much of a problem. No way was that property cleaned properly. I am sending an email of complaint and I will update this review after to let everyone know the outcome.

Positive experience: The laurels, cleaning staff and staff on reception no problem, accommodation very basic , one sharp knife, only enough plates for four of us so no extras no oven dishes etc like to cook when away so had to go out and buy dishes ,very strange set up, master bedroom with back door but no window that opened,chose these appartments as thought may be quieter than holiday park, shame about neibours, constantly smoking weed out on front lawn, over occupying chalets with guests who were up all night smoking.and drinking.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place brilliant prices

Positive experience: We've always had a fairly decent service from Carefree Holidays. We usually stay in the private bungalows which are perfect for us but can be very restrictvie bathroom wise if you're disabled. When there have been problems (and there have been a few over the many years we've been staying with them) they have been sorted fairly quickly. The accommodation is always clean and welcoming, the staff pleasent and in general the accommodation fairly reasonable for the fact it is more private than the usual holiday camp chalets.

Positive experience: Good service but staff are a bit thick.
