We visited the Stevenage TUI store and was warmly welcomed by Jacqui, with her vast experience and knowledge of delivering a fantastic experience for the customer, trying to find a perfect holiday for My wife and help us to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We are very fussy and spent over 3 Hours in store, poor Jacqui just persuaded with the search for our perfect holiday choice, after a great cup of tea We had signed on the dotted line and only 342 days to go. Fantastic experience: I visited TUI Stevenage twice in one week because we couldn’t make our minds up on our holiday. We saw Jacqui both times, she went above and beyond for us! She sat with us for literally hours and accommodated my indecisiveness and was so patient and kind. She found what looks to be an amazing holiday for us with all our requirements. Her knowledge on different locations is huge. Jacqui’s customer service is gold standard 10 * plus. And special mention to Sue (I think her name is) she was also very lovely and kind! TUI these lovely ladies are a real asset to your company!

Negative experience: Never got back to me about a holiday we wanted to book. Wasn’t the most friendly atmosphere in there wouldn’t rush back to boobs holiday with them.

Sue looked for the best deal possible for a week in Tenerife for us and then found us a great deal on a Caribbean cruise in December. Fantastic experience: We booked with Sue at Tui Stevenage for a week at the Grand Azul, Marmaris, Turkey. Sue did an amazing job, of arranging everything special assistance, through arranging transport at the other end. So if you are looking to book a holiday, go see Sue at Tui Stevenage I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Negative experience: I went to the stevenage store on the 4th of August 2024 to redeem a voucher issued by tui against a holiday I wanted to book after being advised by a customer service manager over the telephone that the only way to redeem a voucher without having to make a card payment and then claim a refund through the voucher would be to go into the store. The voucher it's self states it can be redeemed in store directly. The manager in the store immediately refused and said its not possible, a full payment is needed then a refund can be claimed against the voucher. We then left, called customers again who advised for the 2nd that it is definitely possible to redeem the voucher in store right way, we walked back into the store and then was advised by another member of staff in the store that it can not be done, I pointed out the terms are clearly stated on the back of the voucher and even still had the manager of the phone who advised the person in store that they should accept it, she made up her own terms, could read the terms on the voucher correctly and refused. An hour later we went to another Tui store in Welwyn which as per there own terms immediately accepted the voucher. Stevenage staff are simply incompetent, go to welwyn store if you want proper customer services

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend booking a holiday through TUI at the Stevenage branch. We stated all of our requirements and then booked the first hotel Jacqui showed us. Even after searching for hours online ourselves, Jacqui found what we were looking for right away. We received great service from the branch and know we'll be in good hands with TUI.

Negative experience: Give this branch a swerve and get down to WGC as theY are customer focused. Shop wasn't open at stated time but staff sat in there watching me try every door! Came back 20 minutes later and they are gathered in a huddle , when I ask for a giftcard I was told I would have to wait 20 mins while they open travel money up. If you state 9am open ready to serve us customers. TUI nearly lost £1000 of business but were saved by exceptional customer service at WGC branch.

Jacqui has such good knowledge of what is available and applying it to what you are looking for. Thank you! Negative experience: My partner and I arrived 45 minutes before store closing. More than enough time we presumed, to have a good enough chat to leave well informed for a choice on what honeymoon to go on! How wrong we were. Immediately, we were told that we couldn't go through all of the options because they were soon closing. So we got a half arsed travel agent, who made it feel like she wasn't even going to try. Our questions were quickly dismissed or shut down, preventing any chance of discussion around the option. Any exploration of a different option was met with an eye roll or a sense of pressure that she didn't approve of our choice and were then given options that we had communicated we didn't want. Such as going on a Mediterranean holiday, which was the exact opposite of what we were looking for. Now I understand that one could argue it was getting late on Saturday, but this has left a very negative taste in the mouth as the customer service was abysmal.
