Fantastic experience: Only popped in for some flight information and Jack was really helpful. Gave me some hints and tips even though he wasn't going to benefit from any sale.

Negative experience: Trip to the USA ruined by this travel agent. Mistakes made with car hire that cost me an extra £500 over and above what we had paid to Ramsay Travel. Given a voucher for hotel accommodation in Amarillo Texas. Turned up to find out no accomodation booked by Ramsay Travel had to pay another £100 over and above what we had already paid. Tried to write and complain got nowhere. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Negative experience: Najgorsze wakacje jakie mogłam wykupić. Po raz pierwszym korzystałam z tego biura. Kiedy była rezerwacja płatność zaliczki wydzwaniali po 10 razy dziennie o płatności ,ale jak człowiek potrzebował informacji dokumentów podróży to musiał czekać tygodnie aż odpiszą o zgrozo do dzisiaj nie odpisali odnośnie ubezpieczenia . Kontakt tragiczny nastawieni tylko na sprzedaż i nic więcej . Chamstwo jeśli chodzi o zachowanie względem klienta. Czas najwyższy ich zgłosić w odpowiednie miejsce .!!!!! Negative experience: I always thought using a local company is better than the big companies. More personal service. This is NOT the case. Travel agent booked wrong room for us. I phoned to be told very abruptly that there is nothing they can do as changes can’t be made 3 weeks before travel. Letter and phone call to get tickets came 3 weeks before travel. I have spent a huge amount of money with this company over the years. Just going to book direct with jet2 from now on.

Negative experience: Looks like my review has been removed however UPDATE : jet2 called me yesterday 09/08/23 advising my travel agent, Ramsay Travel, Dundee should have advised me of building site at time of booking and because I did not book holiday direct via Jet2 website, apparently they have a tick box for building sites , so in effect nothing has been signed and am being penalised for going through travel agent. Buy the way remember They were going to keep 50% cancellation fee its now they keep the whole £1100, happy days, greedy gits and won't be back.

Fantastic experience: John G at Dundee was so kind and helpful in finding the right deal and options for our trip next year to NYC. 95% of communication was by email back and forth (due to me being at work) and he was always super quick to reply and so incredibly patient as we made changes and worked through requirements. A final phone call was all it took to seal the deal! and we’re now looking forward to a fabulous trip. This will be our second time travelling to New York with Ramsay Travel, last time staying at the New Yorker Hotel. Absolutely flawless, organised well and we even got a hotel room upgrade! For a mum and teenager travelling alone, Ramsay made sure we were taken well care of and had a fantastic experience. Definitely recommend!! A++++++

Negative experience: First time booking with Ramsay world travel and definitely will be my last. Terrible communication from the get go along with cheeky staff who have absolutely no interest to help. They were so lovely when taking the payments over the phone back in April but the tune changed when they got over £600 from me. Just off of the phone to Chris who’s telephone manner is absolutely atrocious. This situation with this company got so bad I was considering going to Dundee from glasgow to get answers. The minute they get your money they couldn’t care less. Booking with a travel agent is supposed to be stress free but my god this was AWFUL. This was actually my first time ever booking with a travel agent and I will never ever use any travel agents again as this place has truly put the fear in me. I can truthfully say I’ve not had any excitement leading up to my holiday as I’ve been filled with anxiety. Originally booked Budapest to then receive a random email… not even a phone call to let me know my flights have been changed and I’m missing a full day off of my holiday and ive just to be fine with it, after many unanswered emails and phone calls we eventually got the holiday changed to a different destination and the man on the phone admitted that the communication has been shocking. I would not recommend this company to anyone and have turned folk away that have seen this company advertising on Facebook by telling them my experience. Was booked as a birthday surprise for my fiancé but it’s probably the worst present he’s ever received with the stress and anxiety this place has caused us Avoid like the plague.

Negative experience: Customer service received by Hamish is atrocious, he took it upon himself to change our flight bookings and never notified us , and withheld all the paperwork. When phoned to ask him about this we were told tough there was nothing he could do . Absolutely the worst customer service I have received from a travel agent and will never ever book with this company again

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking they cancelled our holiday and under there terms and conditions we are entitled to a full refund, they want to fob us of with credit note which we cannot use or will cost us more money. How can a company like this not follow there terms and conditions and pay back our money. It is the same as stealing from me and my wife and also our mums who are retired shane on you. Over £12,000 but did offer £1700 approximately in bank transfer and rest on credit note. Then they said credit note would expire end of july 2020, without agreeing to this credit note they sent anyway giving date that we could claim back money would be December 2020 another lie and scam they won't even confirming in writing why they are not refunding our money.
