Negative experience: Absolutely terrible the holiday we wanted was costing us three times more than booking direct and we were sent a picture of a room with a balcony to be given an inside cabin. (Cruise ship) they expected us to know the inside ones were called sea view so when my partner said he literally wanted a sea view so we could sea the views they stuck us in one with no balcony and a tiny window. We can ellrd pet them keep the deposit and booked direct with p & o got a balcony room a lot bigger and a lot cheaper still saved around 900 letting them keep our deposit and going elsewhere and actually getting what we want. Then had too wait over 10 days for a refund of a hundred pound they owed us on top of the deposit.
I’m sorry that you feel we let you down on this occasion. In answer to your review however, we should point out that we booked the seaview cabin that your partner asked for (which, we understand, was a surprise booking for you) and, when a price was offered to upgrade to a balcony cabin, this was refused by him. Regarding the refund of the payment made above the lost deposit, this was actioned very speedily within 6 working days of having received the account details.
