Negative experience: AWFUL!!! Pre booked 2 mini buses but didn’t turn up. Malcom and Tom from Apollo Taxis saved the day and picked us up!! Would never recommend Yellow Taxis as they left a group of girls stranded. Yellow Taxis have responded to this saying they sent 2 minibuses, but they didn’t. Both times it was a 4 seater car.

Negative experience: My boyfriend phoned up for a taxi the day before he needed it so he knew he’d get one booked in, waited 30 minutes at the location we gave them to pick him up, even rang them up for them to say the driver is there waiting and we walked around everywhere looking for the car just to be let down because they didn’t show up so now he was late for work‍♀️

Negative experience: Driver ran a very obvious red light (was about 40ft away when light was changing from amber to red) driver didn’t speak to me the entire journey and i felt very unsafe as he was speeding the entire way back!

Negative experience: Been using this taxi firm for the past 18 months whilst not having a vehicle, was answered by a very impolite female. Will not be using again! Will be advising customers and others to avoid this firm. Very rude!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant taxi company. Staff in office always lovely and helpful. Most drivers are really nice. Huge shoutout and thanks to the amazing driver the other week who came back with a jump lead to start my engine when my battery was flat and who wouldn't even take any money for his troubles.

Fantastic experience: All the recommendations! I had a situation where other pre-booked taxi company has let me down and hadn't picked me up at 5am to take me to Manchester airport. Since I was in a hurry and was in a situation where I could miss my flight I called the Yellow cars ant they were able to get me an urgent taxi to take me to the airport. Therefore big thanks to them and to Sharon for driving me quickest possible! If I could I would have given them 10 strars!

Negative experience: Never really had an issue with this company before, and I always recommend to other people, but after the other day, I will not be using them again. My friends and I got in the taxi and was made to pay straight away and in full after we asked if we could split it. The driver refused (we've split payments before, but I understand why some taxis take payments first) My friends got dropped off and me and another were left to go, the driver refused to take us to our address and told us he has another job after we already paid and told him where we are all getting dropped off (three different addresses which we already told the driver) we got out and had to walk 45 mins back to our place at 4am. Like I've said, I've never had an issue before, but after this, I'm definitely not using them again.

Fantastic experience: Very good taxi service highly recommend we used for airport runs this year on 14th January and 24th April. We will be using them again in August for another airport run. Dale is a friendly chatty guy and was always on time

Fantastic experience: It's hard to explain how a taxi company should get 5 stars but these guys & gals deserve all 5 of them! They are always polite, friendly and the cars are clean beyond reproach, you can actually get a taxi at anytime without having those stupid school time interruptions to deal with, thankyou for your high standards! After reading some other reviews I have added the following because I have never had an issue with this company unlike so many other taxi companies in Wrexham who are more interested in filling the pockets of the owners with school contracts than acting as an actual taxi company and driving genuine customers around. These guys are so good that I once didn't have any credit on my phone and the only way I was able to book them was by Facebook, I didn't think it was going to work but I pulled out my profile which I hadn't used for 8+years, signed into messenger and guess what? They sent one straight away, I was gobsmacked and goes a long way to showing how these guys help and show up when they say they will! Just keep it going and pass my thanks to all your professional drivers and staff?

Negative experience: Had a bad experience, ordered cab on app money took up front no taxi turned up. Said they rang twice... no call!!!

Negative experience: Used to use the company all the time for getting taxis to and from work, had no trouble what so ever. Other the past few weeks I've been having to use other taxi companies because this company can't be trusted anymore. Saturday 8th June (early hours 1 in morning) - after I finished work I booked a taxi within 20 minutes I got my taxi, no problem, however the driver charged me twice 1 through the app, then by card in the car .. at first I thought I pressed pay in car but I hadn't, I always pay through app. (This still hasn't be resolved) Sunday 9th June (early hours again half 1,2 o clock) - ordered a taxi through the app, waited for it. Within 1 minute of getting a text saying driver had arrived I got charged for my journey, which I didn't even take because the driver never turned up. I phoned the company up and they said a manager will be in contact with me on Monday, haven't received a phone call at all. From now on I'm not going to use this company I'm going to use other more reliable companies, that do charge slightly more however they provide alot better service and don't say they turned up when they haven't.

Fantastic experience: Straight away Saturday night late call, I needed a Taxi from Wrexham to Chester, driven by a man of Rumanian/Italian was ever so polite and nice considering it was 1 a.m. Thanks whoever you were, and cheap at the price if you ask first how much its going to be whilst ordering one, this what sombody told me once, almost all of the time you get the quoted price rather than metered if you say what the other person on the other end quoted to you whilst ordering Taxis. Solo traveller travelling experience.

Negative experience: Very poor service, I booked a cab yesterday night for pickup at 5.55am, and I got a call from the operator today morning at 5.51am saying that sorry there's no availability. Then I booked another service but then yellow car drivers arrived at 6.03am and then I called the operator again they spoke to me so rudely without even having patience to listen. They took my money and it is showing completed ride. Not fair....operator has to talk to driver instead charging my money without giving the service...

Positive experience: I don't use many time any taxi, but when I need I use yellow, today I booked a car and when I enter in the taxi driver shouting at me when asked where I going, to be honest I don't understand him, because he speaking whit difficult, I appreciate he work, but no reason to shout.... So far today was very disrespectful guy!

Negative experience: What a shower of !!!!! Booked a taxi with 30 min pick up time, taxi turned up 15 mins early and left without a single phonecall. Staff in the office rude and unhelpful. Am now walking home alone in the dark. Thank you very much yellow cars!!!

Negative experience: Awful service, charge cancellation fee for changed booking an hour before due. Drivers refuse card payments as is the usual means of payment instead demand cash at a higher rate than usually paid BEFORE. No response to messages from head office even though been read.

Positive experience: Booked a taxi for quarter to six. Finally turned up at nearly twenty past. Unlikely to use them again.

I've always been able to book a taxi, whether it's by calling the office or using the app. Drivers and staff are friendly and the taxis are always kept clean. I use Yellow Cars regularly and for my airport transfers and have never experienced any issues, just fantastic service. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Tried to call for a taxi and there was no answer on the line. I received an automated text message, advising me to download the app and book a taxi that way. I did that and was advised of a 30 minute wait, which I was okay with. After 1 hour and 30 minutes I called the office and was told that the app is not accurate and that there were “15 other people in the office waiting for taxis. When a driver comes your way, you will get a taxi.” She also informed me that the maximum time limit on the app is 30 minutes, so you can be waiting any amount of time after this with no further update on the matter. This was disheartening and I felt that downloading the app was a total waste of time and effort. I also felt that they were likely prioritising the passengers visiting the office over my booking through the app. I finally decided to call a different firm and had a taxi within 5 minutes. I’d take your business elsewhere, as the customer service is non-existent.

Negative experience: Booked a Taxi for 10.30 pm Saturday from Ruabon. Called at 10.40 to enquire when would the Taxi arrive. Told by the receptionist they were too busy and it would not be coming!!! Absolutely shocking non service!! Walked home in the rain.

Negative experience: Very disappointing do not use reason being they overcharging against the set council rates I've been using taxis to my address for many years and I'm minimum fair other week my fair should have been £4.50 but they tried to charge £6.00 I politely queried it and paid the £6.00 week after I go to use them then the reception girl asked me to pay in advance as someone made a complaint (not me) in my street I again paid by card in good faith tonite I go there politely and the same reception girl tells me I'm banned?,lol for what questioning politely the price,well tommorrow I'm emailing the council to ask them what the correct rates are yellow cars is the nearest company to my home so shouldn't be more expensive than any others farther away after my query tommorrow if I am wrong I will apologize but when I'm right I will be speaking to the owner direct
