Fantastic experience: Burleigh organised our University Cricket Club Summer Tour to Amsterdam, the first time that our club had gone international. They helped immensely through sorting our transport, nice accommodation, 2 fixtures which perfectly met our requirements, all for a very reasonable price at a time where costs seemed extortionate elsewhere. I cannot recommend highly enough using Burleigh to organise tours for sports teams, and am thoroughly looking forward to working with them again this year, as they are organising our tour to Malta!

Fantastic experience: We travelled to The Netherlands for the Hilversum festival over the Easter weekend. Had a fantastic weekend, we opted for the premium accommodation which was absolutely fantastic and even came with it's own mini sauna! This was our second year with Burleigh travelling to the Hilversum festival and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on both occasions and would definitely recommend the premium upgrade. Fantastic experience: Dolphin School had an excellent football tour to Holland arranged by Burleigh Travel. The service was great all round and we were provided with ideal fixtures and some superb coaching at Utrecht FC whic was a real inspirational experience for our young tourists. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish the Burleigh Travel team were fantastic in all elements of communication, organisation and coordination on behalf of our U15's Rugby Team who stayed at South Bay Holiday Park, Brixham and participated in the Big Devon Bash 2023. The accommodation was excellent and event ran smoothly on the day. It was great to also meet some of the Burleigh team who were very hands on the day of the tournament. Thanks to Ivybridge RFC for hosting. Would highly recommend the team for future tour bookings and believe a large number of our M&J section are considering for 2024. Great service, thank you again.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Burleigh Travel for almost 3 years to make our mini’s rugby tour happen. Obviously covid made things more difficult, however the communication and professionalism from the Burleigh team was fantastic and as things changed they remained flexible to our wants and needs. The tour itself was well organised and extremely good fun. Every child and coach had a great weekend. The whole process was easy to organise and I would recommend them to any team.

Fantastic experience: We had a lot of disruption to our team management this season and so our tour plans were very behind! Along came Burleigh Travel to the rescue in late October no less! They gave us some great touring options, were very very patient and really accommodating when it came to trying to get all of our finances together at the last minute. The whole process was seamless and no hassle at all. Every question was answered quickly and with reassurance as booking a tour was a new experience for me! More importantly our lads had a fabulous time, no phones in sight and they enjoyed every activity. Even the ones they said they weren't going to do at the beginning! Fantastic experience: Bournemouth Minis Rugby Festival - Enfield Ignatians RFC After 2 years of Covid disruption we finally got to tour again, and what a fantastic tour it was! The whole team from Burleigh were fantastic, both in the lead up to the festival and over the weekend itself. Carolyn was always on hand to answer questions and it was lovely to meet her and the team in person at the festival. We had a brilliant weekend and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again! I still haven’t gotten over the high of the trip. Coming from CUAFC we’ve been to many great places including Miami China and Portugal but this topped the lot. I go to bed dreaming of Burleigh and wake up with a smile of my face. Superlative. Marvellous. Wonderful. Stupendous. Glorious. Phenomenal. Spectacular. Happiness-inducing. Smile-generating. If you don’t use them then your tour will not be what it could be. Simple as that. Don’t make a silly mistake by not using them. I want you to experience what my team and I experienced. I’m going to name my first child Burleigh because of this wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: I got in touch with Burleigh Travel to help organise my university football club's (CUAFC) tour to Malta this year. They were very prompt with their communication and created a tour which was exactly what I was looking for. I had a bit of trouble with unexpected changes to the flights (which I organised myself) and Burleigh swiftly accommodated these changes to the tour itinerary. Unfortunately, the deteriorating COVID situation in the UK meant I had to postpone the trip for fear of the touring party having to undergo 14 day self-isolation in Malta. I went to Burleigh Travel with this who, despite it being over the Christmas break, called me back and discussed several different options with me. Although they had every right to charge us the 100% cancellation fee, they were incredibly flexible and generous - instead allowing us to postpone and allow the original payments to be transferred over to the new tour. I cannot emphasise enough how important this has been to the finances of the club and its members. Overall, their hard-work, honesty, and communication have been amazing. We are now looking forward to a great trip to Malta this March!

Fantastic experience: After an understandable delayed response following the Covid Pandemic, since resuming work on sports tours Burleigh Travel have been incredibly helpful in rearranging our clubs football tour to Malta around the changing travel restrictions. We finally got to travel last week and had a fantastic tour and a very safe and enjoyable time, playing an amazing fixture against a local side and enjoyable excursions and a break out in the beautiful setting of St Julians. Fantastic experience: We are looking forward to our 9th European tour with Burleigh. Every year we travel to a different destination, our 1st being Rotterdam in 2012. Fantastic experience: I have booked my hockey clubs trip to Amsterdam through Burleigh Travel and they have been very helpful and understanding with continual date changes of our trip due to the Covid pandemic. They have given generous refunds to those members of our group who had to drop out due to the dates changing and have also been very easy to work with throughout my time organising the trip. I would recommend Burleigh Travel to anyone booking a holiday for a large group, especially any sports teams looking to go organise a tour.

Fantastic experience: Stroud RFC 2021 U16 Rugby Tour to Ivybridge can only be described as a resounding success!!! Burleigh Travel organised a superb full day of rugby that gave all teams the chance to get do what they love, play rugby. They also organised accommodation at the Trelawne Manor Holiday Park for our teams that was clean, well organised, safe and great fun for all. For sure there were some glitches but to be honest they were so minor and dealt with quickly and professionally it that allowed everyone just to have a fantastic weekend of rugby and social activities. Positive experience: After a very successful 2019 tour to Bournemouth using Burleigh we booked again for Doncaster in 2020. Due to the pandemic the tour was cancelled at very short notice. We could not consider a re-schedule due to our boys moving into GCSE year, so after negotiation were able to find a mutually agreeable resolution. My rating is based on the 2019 tour, with good communication, accommodation and a well run festival. Buckingham RUFC U15s

Negative experience: Burleigh Travel - Mr Chris Kite specifically - Just Awful - to all those rugby clubs out their thinking about using this company, just don't do it. We are still fighting for a refund and have had to go to the small claims court simply due to the above person refusing to act reasonably - we are not alone - a large number of rugby clubs are in the same position - look at trustpilot and the reviews on this site - some refunds have been given but others haven't - some have had full refunds, others nothing - the company are no longer members of ABTA and the RFU is well aware of their behavior - such a shame that rugby values have been forgotten.

Fantastic experience: We booked a university sports tour to Barbados through Burleigh travel for summer 2021 for University of Liverpool Cricket Club. Burleigh could not have been more supportive throughout the uncertainty and changing guidance. Ultimately presenting us with all the options and allowing us to move our sports tour to summer 2022 to allow for the full experience. All the staff at Burleigh have been excellent in all communications from initial contact to booking the tour and making alterations along the way to suit our requirements. In all the contact I have had with Chris he has been open and honest in explaining the situation and presenting all our available options to ensure we get the experience that we signed up for, which I am very grateful for. The club has used Burleigh travel for multiple successful sports tours now and we look forward to this continuing with a successful tour next year and in future years to come.

Negative experience: Beware! Booked a rugby tour which was unfortunately cancelled on 2 consecutive years due to COVID. After a hard fight for a refund Burleigh Travel are offering a 5O % refund. There site claims ATOL protected this is not the case! Beware!

Fantastic experience: Originally touring with Burleigh Travel in May last year but due to lockdown it could not happen. However, great communication from Burleigh and Old Colfeians U14's now looking forward to rescheduled tour come October. Burleigh's efforts are much appreciated.

Fantastic experience: We travelled in 2019 with Burleigh Travel who arranged an amazing tour for our football club at the time. We had booked to go again in June 2021 but obviously, due to the pandemic, it has been difficult for us to commit to being able to travel safely. I have been very anxious as tour organiser to not let our football club down and make sure we can still go when safer. This is where Chris (Director) comes into play. I explained our situation and he was so helpful in reassuring me not to worry. We moved our tour to June 2022 with no problem whatsoever which has taken so much stress away from me. I cannot thank the team enough for being flexible during a really challenging time for the travel industry.

Negative experience: Our Easter mini rugby tour 2020 was cancelled due to Covid-19 in March Burleigh Travel were originally chosen on past experience and as they were ABTA registered number Y6129 November 2020 This matter has been resolved to the satisfaction of the tour party with a refund

Negative experience: As others have stated unwilling to provide a refund of a cancelled tour. Unprofessional and poor spirited this was an event paid for by a grandparent to a grandchild, the last one they gave them as they have since passed away. Hope that makes you very proud.

Fantastic experience: COVID has had a huge impact on every sector, travel being particular hammered. Our original tour was cancelled due to travel restriction but through great comms on both sides, DRFC and Burleigh Travel, we managed to set a new date in Sept. Burleigh travel refunded 3 families that could no longer make the rescheduled tour and the rest of us (15 families) had a absolute blast. Croft Farm was great in every respect - service, food, accommodation, activities. Chris put on an extra training session (which gave us coaches a break) and although we didn't play any rugby against opposition, the boys had a great time. In their own words - "best tour ever" and "can we do this again next year" It was by far the best team bonding session that our lads have had. Chris looked after us very well, under immense pressure brought about from COVID restrictions. We have already started speaking with Burleigh Travel to take part in a Summer rugby festival at Croft Farm in 2021.

Negative experience: Truly Awful - Avoid this company

Negative experience: Burleigh travel have behaved appallingly regarding the cancellation of our rugby tour. They have withdrawn from ABTA to avoid refunding customers what they are due. We are 25K out of pocket as a rugby club. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Negative experience: Refusing to refund uni tour (that was cancelled due to COVID) for over 20 students - each paying over 500£, asking us to instead rearrange despite many students either graduating or being international. Terrible company do not use, VERY quick to demand payment but utterly slow and unprofessional to help students.

Negative experience: Paid for a 2020 Kids Rugby Tour with Burleigh Travel that we could not have due to Covid. Booked on a replacement Tour by Burleigh for 2021without our say-so that we couldn't do because they don't do refunds. Tried to agree a replacement Tour for next year but couldn't because some parents circumstances changed and they wouldn't even do a refund for those families who could not tour next year. Burleigh have refused refunds and now left ABTA who were telling them to refund us. This company has done everything it can including, lying about what happened, changing its story and tried to coerce us to go on a future Tour under the threat of losing our entire £10,000 . Do not Tour with Burleigh Travel - they are not ABTA members anymore despite what it says on their website and they are totally unscrupulous and untrustworthy.

Positive experience: Our youth rugby tour to Bournemouth was cancelled in March due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Following an initial dispute over our options, I can now confirm that a mutually agreeable settlement has been made between our two parties to draw a line under these events.

Due to Covid-19 our football tour was cancelled, and despite being refunded for our flights and accommodation, they seemingly will not pass this refund back on to us who paid for it in the first place. Due to this baffling and unreasonable behaviour I would not recommend wasting your time with them.

They were extremely selfish with their actions and it is clear that all they want to do is take one’s money, excusing their actions with the statement that the travel sector is losing money. Furthermore, they do not want to return any calls or emails regarding the matter and and this is extremely poor professionalism from them. It’s evident from other reviews that this isn’t the first time this has happened, so keep your money safe and don’t use this company!

Fantastic experience: Blaina RFC have used Burleigh Travel for our last three tours. I have always found them to be very professional and dedicated. The trips have pretty well all happened with little or no issues, and everyone who has travelled has had a great time! Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future. Further to this, in the current diffcult circumstances our planned rugby tour to Dublin in May 2020 of course had to be cancelled. This was unfortunate, but also out of everyone's hands. In trying times, Burleigh and Director Chris Kite were very helpful. They worked with us to get refunds etc. sorted, and this was all handled in a very professional manner. It's been difficult times for them, so good luck and hope you come out the other end of this cirsis safely. Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: As Chair of my local rugby club, I have arranged tours through Burleigh Travel for the last 2 seasons. 2020 was supposed to be our 3rd year in a row. The organisation has always been spot on. The team are professional and dedicated, providing a hugely impressive service. Nothing is too much trouble. The Covid-19 situation meant that this years' tour was cancelled. We have had multiple discussions and the team have maintained their professionalism throughout, during very trying times. As a result, we are delighted to have committed to touring with them again in 2021, and very much look forward to doing so.

Without exposing any specific details, they have been hugely uncooperative and unprofessional in providing a fair refund for a Covid-19 effected booking. Unduly profiting from the situation, with the excuse that the travel sector is losing money. Negative experience: We booked With Burleigh Travel to go on Our clubs rugby tour in April to Bournemouth. The tour was cancelled due to Covid19, Burleigh travel have received a refund From the caravan park but refuse to return Said refund back to us as paying customers. I call that theft.

Fantastic experience: This was the 7th time our club has used Burleigh Travel which has included an Under 16s tour. I think it says it all when we keep coming back. Everything was as smooth and well organised on our 2019 tour to Spain. David Peachey had everything sorted to a tee and nothing was too much trouble when we needed a few late name changes due to dropouts. First class service from a first class operator and I know a bit about touring as I have organised quite a few myself.
