Negative experience: Awful customer service & rude staff Won’t give me my parcel as it has a different surname to my drivers license due to getting married The addresses match up & I have the email/text message to show it is my delivery with my John Lewis account open which shows my correct name They just said it’ll be returned with no help whatsoever even though I need the package for my baby asap

Negative experience: I feel scammed. I am new to the area and country itself. I had no idea about the tariff and services. I came to the post office to send three A4 sheets to London. I specifically asked for the cheapest way to do so. In less than half a second the employee responds “it’s 7.30, darling”. Well, I had no time or connection to check if the price was reasonable, and I paid what he said. Only when I got outside I got second thoughts what could “special by one” mean.. now, I know it’s the most expensive option. That’s a very poor service. Do not use this post office .

Fantastic experience: Every time I've used the post office here I've found the staff to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They explained the full process for changing details on my driving licence and have helped with several other queries in the past. Today I spoke with Dharmaj and he couldn't have been more helpful. Negative experience: Review for the post office only.. I can see why others have left bad reviews for the post office (and I presume the same man).. This has happened twice to me with him now, so wanted to review. This rude pushy young man (squeaky voice, very long nails) must be on commission as he adds extra services on when they are not needed, and doesn’t explain clearly how much it is before he puts it through.. when I asked to just send my small parcel 2nd class he suggested my parcel (that would fit through a letter box and was only worth £4) should be signed for.. which I agreed to, unknowingly - plus he put it through as 1st class when I asked for 2nd - I thought it was really expensive as I paid for it and thought that can’t be right.. when I looked at my receipt and went back in to question it, he said the postman had just been and took it (in the space of 5 mins) so there’s nothing he can do. Very convenient. You’ve lost my custom, and by the sounds of it others. It’s a shame as the girl who works/worked there is nice and finds the most suitable and affordable way to send items.

Negative experience: Very dissatisfied. Today between 13:00/13:25 I went to this post office to send an order, and I was answered by a guy who was EXTREMELY RUDE, impatient and without any empathy. Normally I'm not one to make complaints, but if I don't do that today I'll be contributing to these types of situations, which leave no harm. I think that no one, no matter how bad they are or how they seem, deserves that kind of care. Please if you can give training to him. Next time probably he can take an answer by the same way he talking with people. If he can threat people like that maybe others can threat him same way.

Negative experience: Absolutely rubbish, rude staff that don't know what they are doing, and extremely slow. Very sad to see as it was great to see the post office open again. I would use one of the other post offices rather than this one if you can.

Negative experience: Cannot say I am surprised it is "temporarily" closed. Even when they are queuing from one end of the shop to the other there is only 1 or 2 counters open. Staff spend more time chatting then doing the job they are employed to do which explains why it takes all day just to do one thing. Thankfully there is another post office within walking distance of where I live and they are always happy to serve you and no long delays.

Positive experience: Most of the staff are nice...one was rude to me. I would of given higher but there is always a queue as only ever one or two staff on ...even if very very busy. Closing times not accurately advertised either.
