Negative experience: On holiday with Parkdean and having a good time so decided to call and book two more holidays - during the phone call their systems suffered an outage and the whole process became disjointed and confused. After finishing the call one (bearing in mind I booked two) of the confirmations arrived with the wrong date. Simply put I immediately tried to ring Parkdean and could get through. Three hours of chatbots and waiting in call queues and ultimately being cut off. Eventually get hold of someone who will ring me back. Not happened. Back to the chat bot and finally get someone. They'll change the date OK - but for £40. Bearing in mind I tried to correct the error immediately, I don't know who (me or their agent) got it wrong but I am expected to pay. These two will be the last holidays I book with Parkdean, I usually book 10+ breaks a year with them. They've had their last money from me. I'm at one of their parks at the moment. I'm off out in a moment to find other suitable places to stay. Money grabbing over customer relations. Not 'holiday happy' as they'd like you to think. AVOID!!!!!!!

Negative experience: I have two vans at Parkdean. I sold one back to the park to pay the other one's rates as I've been ill and unable to work and will be having a procedure on Thursday. They knew this was why I was selling it. However, despite numerous promises they haven't paid me or addressed this issue and now they're sending me threatening letters and emails because I haven't been able to pay the rates on the one I haven't sold. I have had, this morning, a message left on Trustpilot that they will contact me at sometime.. meanwhile my credit rating is going down the tubes and time is running out as I desperately need this sorted before the 23rd when I go into hospital. I've had numerous excuses, even suggesting the van isn't mine, despite me sending the ownership documents.. then suggesting it was part owned.. it's driving me mad and I don't need this stress.

Negative experience: On Fri 27th September we had booked 3 till Mon. We had done the same in June and had good stay caravan fine ect but this time we paid extra so we could get the Seaham range with en suite ect. On arrival at withernsea we got to caravan and it was a basic dilapidated rio model that was absolutely filthy. I went to reception to complain and to show them booking but tried telling me this was caravan we had booked which we knew was not the case. Tried belittling me in front of other people waiting in reception. It was obvious that our caravan we had booked was in use and they just shoved us in worst they had. Being late and my partner being tired we couldn't drive home but stayed night in run down caravan not even unpacking because how uncomfortable we felt. I contacted out of hours team who confirmed that the Seaham and rio are totally different and what reception had told me was basically untrue they left notes for reception and told us to go next day to sort out. Went next morning 9 am asked to see manager but was told no manager on site which I believe to be further lies as how can you leave a receptionist in charge who has no authority to move to another caravan its unacceptable and unprofessional. being pushed he admitted that our caravan was under maintenance and we had what was available basically a downgrade. Not something same or better. There where stains all over walls, holes, mattress didn't fit bed the caravan was not fit for purpose an absolute disgrace window was so dirty we couldn't see out. He asked for pictures which I sent to his email. After being told he didn't have authority to move us or issue refund as that was managers job and she was in Blackpool we decided that we would leave site and go home. He said manager would be in touch but don't believe that either as everything I've been told so far has been excuse after excuse. As a customer I have the right to sleep in comfortable and clean surroundings and not feel like a second class citizen. I refuse to live like a tramp at my expense. This has been the worst holiday experience ever at the very least we require a full refund for the disgraceful way we have been treated will never ever set foot there again I don't wish to get some pathetic reply of how sorry we are and we value our customers ect because we all know that's untrue basically you've robbed me and my family financially and I want my money back. You can be in denial as much as you like end of day you are sinking like titanic either deal with me personally or watchdog or rip off Britain no excuses just action

Negative experience: Not even worth a 1 star to be honest om while selling you the caravan but that's it once they av got you to sign they do not want to know. I have a big problem at min and just getting fobbed off but I will take this further if I don't get answers shortly

Negative experience: Arrived Good Friday 29th April for a 3 night stay in a lodge. On entering the accommodation everything seemed okay but as we started to unpack we started noticing things! Fridge shelf broken and shelf missing vents on the fridge disgusting with filth! Skirting boards, filthy Dust on back of TVs in every room Bedside lamps, dusty Doors with dust on them Worst of all patio furniture, green, wet and totally unusable Patio doors, unusable. Reported the problem to reception was told somebody would be out to sort out the problems and if it couldn’t be sorted, we would be moved. They came out very little cleaning done. Maintenance came out for the patio doors, and was unable to fix them. Really didn’t want moving because I had husband and two young children only there for three days and we already wasted our afternoon on Friday! I have spoken to White Cross Bay this morning 2nd April i’m being told that they will have a look at the lodge asked if I would get any compensation and the answer is no! Parkdean just take the money Don’t care about the customers then move onto the next customer!

Negative experience: arrival I went for a lie down on the double bed, ( I have spinal arthritis) traveling hurts my back, THERE WERE MANY SLATS MISSING ON THE BED the mattress went straight through with myself resulting in excruciating pain in my back and my leg hit off the metal frame. 2nd complaint there was no concrete path anywhere near our steps to the caravan it was like a mud bath my husband slipped and fell onto the stairs he hurt his hands/arm and legs, he is a disabled man. 1 x pair of brand new ugg boots ruined £200, 1x pair of brand new WHITE nike air force trainers covered in mud. i have photos of the outside of caravan and the bed which im still sufferattacheding with extra back pain due to the incompetence of your housekeepers / inspection team as they should of noticed the condition of the bed when making it. My whole family have had a very disappointing experience and I would like to be compensated for all that we have been through. photos attached Parkdean have not offered anything in way of compensating us had to turn to Resolver/ ABTOT

Negative experience: Horrible company and worse customer service. We got to our holiday to be told that all entertainment and food amenities had closed down for the winter and that our stay was accomidation only. We were never once informed that entertainment was closed down and I even had confirmation from a Parkdean staff member over the phone that everything would be open. We decided to stay anyway since we were packed up for a 3 night stay and had travelled 2 hours to get there. We checked out the next morning as the holiday home itself was run down and dirty. The shower was cold and not fully spraying and the bed sheets caused itching at night. Parkdean have admitted to falt on they're side for assuring us that the entertainment venues would be open and yet they are refusing to give us any refund or compensation. I will be pushing this case further as parkdean need to be shown as liable for they're falts. I certainly will never be staying at Parkdean again and I do not reccomend it to anyone.

Negative experience: I don't usually write bad reviews, but quite frankly, I'm so disappointed with Parkdean. They're definitely there to make money, rather than to support families, and quite frankly, I think their values are disgraceful and greedy. We've been on a couple of Parkdean holidays before and have generally enjoyed them - they're definitely not luxury, but if you're based somewhere with good facilities and places to go e.g. beaches, then they can be fun especially as a family. Sadly, a recent experience has really made me realise how awful a company Parkdean are. I booked a holiday, which, with a sale, made it very reasonable for a family of five. We were also hoping to get several other families along too for a summer holiday. However, the dates I was given to book for, were wrong, but when I went to first of all change the dates to another time in the summer holidays, the prices had gone up hugely and it wasn't feasible to expect to pay an extra £700. Of course, Parkdean manipulates its prices so they more than triple during school holidays which is disgusting behaviour. They also refused a full refund, despite me asking to cancel within 24 hours. And they refused to consider bookings into summer 2025. I'd highly recommend booking into an AirBnB or going with a caravan owned privately.

Negative experience: *Trecco bay* Our caravan was filthy and full of mould! No place to move. They never cleaned the caravan before we arrived. cleaners came and never cleaned properly a second time! We cleaned it ourselves. Fags ends everywhere out the front. Filthy dog urine stained seats, mould everywhere. We left early. Will never return. All we got offered was £30 off another holiday with parkden. No thanks. Should be ashamed of yourselves.

Negative experience: I arrived on park settled in decided to go for an afternoon nap. I was then interrupted by a couple who thought it was there van but wasnt. They had a duplicate key. I approched security at the complex to be told some vans around the site have duplicate keys. Although they did come and change the lock the staff on reception basically said i need to contect head office. Through the rest off my stay i had to carry majority off be belongings as i didnt trust leaving it in the van. Head office basically replied saying speak to them in reception and they tell me i need to contact head office.

Negative experience: Good morning, It's took me some time to reflect in the situation regarding our complete nightmare, disappointing and most of all upsetting experience at Ty myre holiday park.I am writing with complaint to your self due to being pitched on the wrongly given pitch by front desk Becky. We arrived Saturday 29th July, checked in with Becky we had pre booked from the website with a pitch size of 6m 10m electric for a Air Tent. (2 adults 2 children) all clear on booking confirmation. In arrival Becky said touring or static my response touring with tent, we was allocated pitch D7 and given a map which took us to the pitch. We made our selves over to the pitch where the warden was advising the pitch next to us as well as us where to park out cars correctly and how much either side we could have 3m one side and 3 metres to the right. He then watched us partially erect our tent which will all be in site cameras! There was also 3 other units erected on opposite pitches as well. Despite the toilet, showers and wash stations being disgusting we tried to enjoy our holiday. (One shower didn't even have a shower head and no sign to say out of order). Monday late afternoon we returned to our tent from a day out to be confronted by the same warden his words " hi guys your in the wrong pitch, your going to have to move. Just head over to reception and they will get you sorted". As you can imagine me and my partner are now not very happy, I replied with we've been allocated the pitch, booked in , been given a map ect .. And more to the point he watched us put our tent up he just said we're not insured for tents on this side and I can't remember watching you errect your tent. With no further explanation I decided to head over to reception with my booking confirmation and paper work. We have camped on plenty of sites and never had this problem. Becky in the office had our booking confirmation and I had mine which didn't match up mine said electric pitch hers said a motorhome. I would never book a motorhome, I double checked all my booking which again never said motorhome. At this point her options to my self was to move pitches but had no electric ones available, we couldn't do this as we only had everything for electric plus 2 kids completely not ideal. She said you can't have any compensation as I have broken term and conditions. Well now I'm so confused and furious. How is this good management! The manager refused to even come and speak to me Disgusting. And the warden was point blank refusing to admit that he saw us errect our tent and not only that they had two other air tent opposite us as well who had left that morning but had not been told to mov we due to insurance so why did we have to move? . Or Becky's other option was to terminate my holiday and security will take me tent down. This is completely far from ok to speak to customers in that way. The weather was terrible and raining. So my options were with 2 children to erect my tent in the rain? move to a none electric pitch? Or security will do it for me? I just can't believe we was treated this way. I've been in two minds wether to complain or not however this is just not ok on no level. I had two very upset children as we no other option than to pack up and come home. The security man came over to our tent whilst we was packing away and was trying everything to help and get us sorted. He couldn't apologise enough. He got us £20 voucher which we refused to take, what an insult. The security guard said him self he is sick of telling wardens to make sure they are walking around and making sure that tents are being pitched in correct pitches! So obviously this is a continuous problem. The warden is obviously incompetent and like ruining families holidays. Security even tried to get us a caravan as the weather was so bad he agreed it wasn't ideal to put our tent down and back up, all our stuff would have got sodden. Sent an email to hear office and heard nothing back .. disgusting Rachel I

Negative experience: Hi I stayed at sandford on 14th with in 30 minutes of me arriving my tent ripped it was a 5 hour drive with a disabled child so had to pay for a caravan on top of tent pitch was told by reception I should get my tent pitch refunded only to be told when I got back home that the company don't do refund so I payed for 2 holidays at the same time the company seems all about what money it can take from people and not about what it can give to people and customer support all you keep saying is sorry we don't do refund so I am not happy with your service

Positive experience: Everything to do onsite or close by so would not necessarily end a car. Located just above the beach, swimming pool onsite, shop on site, showbar, restaurant, bar, pool table, amusements etc. The list goes on... The only thing I'd like to see in the future would possibly be bigger complex to fit all. Seems the site has been overtaken by the likes of Haggerston Castle & Butlins etc. Buts still a great place to unwind

Negative experience: How they can warrant £1.200 for a weeks caravan holiday here is beyond me. I booked this a a one off family treat & get together, booked 2 caravans, Senna brand new looked lovely and they were ok but not the ones shown on the ad. I chose this site as when you look & book they also show facilties & caravans from other site....from stock photos. After a 7 hour journey we arrived at 4.30 and our van wasnt ready. No steak available or caramel churros all week. You have to book the small outside pool in 45 minute sessions , which they never said that on booking & it is a joke as ive been on many a holiday NEVER had to do this. ALSO the management were uninterested and actually lied about the outdoor pool slide being in working order when it wasnt working all week....inquiring to other customers it hadnt been working for the best part of 3 weeks and still not working when we left. So you get 45 mins of fun in the pool....no water slide, thats as far as this site goes. So all in all I will never stay here with parkdean again. I would stay at holywell bay with a different company that can actually warrant advertising as a holiday park 'Nothing Short of Brilliant' Parkdean say!! FALSE ADVERTISING i say. I'm still trying to contact the complaints dept which doesnt seem to exist, if anyone can give me help there I'd appreciate it. Holywell bay beach I will add is absolultely stunning, thats worth a visit.

Negative experience: If I could give it 0 stars I would. We stayed at Park Dean from 27th June 2022 until Friday 1st of July. However we left on 29th because our caravan was horrendous unfit to live in. Dirty scuff marks on every wall, some that was quite worrying! The state was certainly less than clean no fault of the cleaners they had done their best with such dismissal circumstances, even though we did actually upgrade! We paid a extra £52 for substandard conditions. We complained to reception immediately, they agreed we had upgraded but was full and could do nothing, they seemed satisfied that we had central heating and double glazing. This it 2022! They should have those anyway as standard surely. We have stayed here before before lockdown upgrade exactly the same way and had aovely caravan. The staff were not interested so we left early glad to escape . Don't book stay away that mour advice. The nxt morning we decided to leave. I took the bedding off as requested and put it in the plastic bag provided. When I took the pillow cases off stuck to 1 pillow was a used and blooded elastoplast! This made me physically sick. I took a picture of the pillow to reception. I spoke to the manager who we spoke to on arrival when we went to complain. He remembered and found it discusting too. Last time we spoke to him he didn't say he was the manager just said they could do nothing! I had askedhim to register our complaint and was apologetic that he had not. Also that his manageress had not registered it when my partner complained the next day again! He afforded us £85 back but our holiday cost £170! He said he would email me with this and his and his manageress's name. However im till waiting this email. I wrote this review and customer services contacted me straight away. I emailed back with the added news and pictures of the dirty plaster. I've heard nothing! However customer service emailed me saying Park Dean has ask them for my bank details about the £85 refund. I still have heard nothing! None of this service is good enough at all! I'm still asking for all our money back after the dirty plaster wouldn't anyone. I will try and contact them again. I will update again. All I can say is don't go to Park Dean Morecombe. I would add the pictures but don't know if I can on this.

Negative experience: 5 hour delay was not informed until we were an hour into our journey got there and caravan stunk of cigarettes, they said they would do an ozone clean but could not stay there as I was not happy to have my children sleep on a cigarette and smelling matress. They did offer a different caravan which we decided to stay in but we lost the 1st day of our holiday waiting for it to be cleaned aswell as it was not ready. Facilities were good and the entertainment was fantastic thank god as at least it was not a total waste

Positive experience: Just had a week at cresswell towers and thoroughly enjoyed it. The bar staff were fantastic considering they were short staffed well done Rebecca Hazel Sian Dan Tracy Jade Charlie Big pat on the back. Negative experience: Had to clean our own caravan before getting in. The curtains were all hanging of. Bugs in a cupboard that housed some pillows.. Shower over flowed if you didn't shower fast enough. Trying to get served a nightmare. Staff stood chatting while one person was left to serve. They refused to offer a refund after explaining that is extremely ill, they don't care and will not refund the £1200 they have spend that they need to put towards his send off. Negative experience: Staff do not deal with complaints after directly telling you they will call you or come to your accommodation to resolve your issues. Not enough linen supplied. No highchair supplied. Caravan door was hanging off, half used toilet roll left in our caravan. Gas ran out mid cooking and shower. No deep cleans happen here. Played Archery. They were sanitizing the bows but not the arrows they were sharing with everyone. It was like a calamity show. Parkdean Resorts attention to detail has gone massively downhill and the customer service is even worse. Overpayment taken 3 times and nobody interested in sorting it out, the money has now been refunded but in their own time. No urgency. These holidays used to be pretty cheap and you didn't mind the odd issue. But now the price has gone up and the service has gone down. So expect to clean it properly yourself and you'll be happy.

Positive experience: Edit: spoke to a lovely gentleman from park dean customer services ( they phoned me) and a resolution has been found, I got the 2 extra weeks I needed. A big thank you to Dan for trying and succeeding in helping. Book a holiday and you hit a pandemic, they offer to help if you are having trouble paying and when you ask for a 2 week extension as I get paid 2 weeks after the final payment date they say no and we are keeping your balance of whats been paid so far. How is that helping? Totally disgusting not friendly help from staff as stated in their email and no help whatsoever. This is my last holiday with Park Dean due to their inability to help when they say they will try. I have until 14th May to pay but you won't get a penny unless I have managed to scrape up the final £479. Whilst I don't holiday yearly I always go to Park Dean resorts...anyone got any recommendations please.

Negative experience: This company is no better than the scamming scum telling you have been in a car crash! Telling you that your refund will be with you in 28 days and then not following it up. It is vile how companies expect you to pay immediately but they take a month to give it back. Using the pandemic as an excuse is a piss poor excuse. They wouldn't accept that if a customer didn't pay on time and claimed that! Don't waste you time with this lot.

Negative experience: If I could I'd of given zero stars Parkdean resorts put me and my family in a caravan with a cooker that leaked gas. When we went to reception to address a resolution we where told to get outside. I do not recommend parkdean to anyone. They tried to kill us. The customer service team are worse than useless dragging there feet on listening to my serious concern and complaint.

Negative experience: Just found out that the next 4 nights have been cancelled, we are 225 miles from home and my partner has stage 4 cancer. I'm absolutely livid with Parkdean, they have made a huge mistake here. I will never use them again, I now have to head home early and take them to small claims court.

Negative experience: If anybody remembers the channel 4 programme 'shameless' on the Chatsworth estate in Manchester and you think that you would like to holiday there go visit skipsea sands, you'll love it!! Loud noise from your neighbours, unruly unsupervised children, loads of swearing, rundown dirty facilities, if that's your cup of tea then skipsea sands is the place to be.

Positive experience: Third year running we used them this year. Was slight issue the mattress was bigger than the bed hence the bed kept tippling so ended up sleeping on couch for holiday but as usual the service was excellent and good value for money . Would always recommend. (2020-sandy bay)

Negative experience: I'm afraid I will not be booking with this company again my holiday was cancelled with them they then offered me a full refund I went on there website to find out could only get a voucher. Obviously I don't want vouchers had to call them 2 hours on hold 45 minutes to fix the problem and 45 days after my holiday ends to get refund I have had no apology from them at all shocking company
