Negative experience: My experience with this company was deeply disappointing. Getting a refund off them seem to be the most difficult thing in the world. I made countless phone calls over multiple months and was repeatedly told someone from the accounts team would get back to me, but that never ever happened. On some occasions, I was assured the refund would be processed within three days, yet nothing materialised. Eventually, after persistent follow-ups, I did receive the refund. But based on how things unfolded, I genuinely believe that without my constant chasing, it would’ve been quietly forgotten. The process lacked transparency and urgency throughout. I also encountered unprofessional behavior from staff, on two separate calls, the line was abruptly disconnected, which felt intentional. Overall, the experience left me feeling let down and undervalued as a customer.

Negative experience: I am going to get trading standards involved with this company soon. They haven't paid my father refund for 1 year and keep sending me on a wild goose chase. Avoid this scam artist company and take issue up with small claims court to recover your money from them .

Negative experience: Do not use this travel agent. The service is appalling and they’re dishonest. Pay a little bit extra and use an alternative agent. My husband has been in contact with Chandani, Kunal, Sandra, and others from your organization regarding a refund for tickets booked under my late mother’s name. This process has been dragging on since September 2024, and despite your promise to issue the refund by February 2025, we are still waiting. My husband has called your offices over 30 times, yet this matter remains unresolved. It is deeply upsetting that you have failed to show basic decency and compassion in handling a refund for someone who is no longer with us. This is not just about money—it’s about integrity. The way you have handled this situation is unacceptable, and I urge you to do the right thing immediately.

Negative experience: very rude and argumentative had a very bad interaction after purchasing tickets from moon travels and was met with childs playground behaviour when we found out the flight returning was a two stop not one with long hour overlays. was sold ticket with intial direct outbound and 1 stop return with 1 hour stop over , this was not the case. please i urge you to either buy direct from airline or look elsewhere this outfit is a unfit solution for any travel and argue at any given chance. have been buying for years well not anymore from these crooks

We are not sure what are your circumstances.. but should the schedule change subsequently it is not due to the travel agent and we are not responsible for it .. even if you went directly to the airline same would be the situation.. hence it is not fair to blame the travel agent for scheduling by the airline as we have no role in it .. we are just a booking agent .. we email you all the information before we issue or take any payment
Once tickets are issued you are airline customer and schedule changes are not done by the travel agency

Negative experience: Complete con artists do not buy from these sarcastic and lying bunch of chancers Brought ticket and needed to change date at last minute they wanted £625 to change a ticket we paid £1000 to purchase. This review is here because the agent wouldn’t refund when air India said ticket is refundable with cancellation fee of £220, but it was refundable via agent as purchased. Agent was unwilling to refund even tho air India confirmed refund is achievable as they checked my booking, agent fobbed me off didn’t call me back and are rude, they just put you on hold with no intention of pick up again was waiting for 40 minutes after being put on hold. Rang air India direct and was told £625 is too steep that cancellation fee is just £220 and as I brought threw agent they are only ones who can put in request other than that they would have done change or refund. Rang 4 times to be left on hold for 40mins at one point, finally spoke to management who were unwilling to help I suggested they contact air India as they confirmed it’s only 220 to cancel eventually they said it’s against there policy but they will ring air India and get back to me They answered after I kept calling as I heard no response and hung up on me as they knew flight was for that day, I never heard back from them End story after not want date change and as air India mentioned tick is refundable I wanted refund but these con artists didn’t refund me. They are rip off merchants I have recorded conversations with air India and moon travel and will be reporting them to each and every organisation possible this firm needs to be shut as they are ripping people off and being sarcastic in return and telling lies Message for moon travel there will be a time you rip off the wrong person a person who is in personal troubles at that point I hope the universe and karma show you a door of misery

Negative experience: Not happy with the agency it's just been impossible to get in contact with them whilst abroad to make changes to our flight or get a quotation. I've had to get someone from Leicester to go into the office in order for my request to be processed. I also had concerns before the flight as my PNR number was not working on the airline and therefore had no idea if we had seats booked or not (worked out OK in the end). This caused us alot of stress and concern as we had paid via bank transfer. It's defo been an eye opener for us and will think twice before booking with any travel agency in the future.

Negative experience: Do not have any dealings with this corrupt company, they rob pensioners and make false promises, 12 months of numerous calls to Sandra, Varsha, Chandni, Anil and Avni still no refund. Avni promised to ring me back after 2/3 days. I have had no call back and when I ring to speak to her, i keep getting fobbed off. My father is 83 years old, they made him pay for a new ticket when they owed him money ,promising the original ticket monies would be refunded...God is watching, do the right thing!!!

Negative experience: Please note the office is run by scammers. It’s been two years since covid they refuse to refund my dads ticket. Chandni, Amrit and Sandra have been fobbing me off and not responding to my calls. They refuse to refund but there are ways to insure you get a refund keep fighting you are legally entitled to a refund. I call every day and they lie they will call back!! Chandni put the phone down on me today pretending she couldn’t hear. Please make sure you never use this company the owner is a greedy person who’s doesn’t care if pensioner’s are out of pocket. If you have paid by bank transfer contact your bank they will do a charge back refund. Please note the rest of the reviews are fake. Use other travel agents or go online and use sky scanner cheaper rates. Update … you have incorrectly stated I have received a refund after two years Avni the manager advised I would be receiving a refund by Friday however I have not received anything as of yet. Every single member of staff was fobbing me off for two years so everything I said was correct. It’s only after Avni answered that apparently I am getting a refund as this hasn’t happened yet don’t say i have had a refund

Negative experience: Booked 5 tickets to fly for 18th October 2020. Due to the travel ban, we were not able to fly. Its been OVER TWO YEARS of chasing them for a refund. They have caller id so they deliberately don't pick up the phone when they see you calling or say they can't help you and transfer you to a number that cuts you off (Ricky), even when you ask them not to. If you call from a withheld number or another number they are quick to pick up. I've emailed them, but they don't respond. Negative experience: This company is a complete shambles. My parents have used this company for over 20 years to book their flights to India and they have not treated them with the customer services anyone should expect. As others have stated on the reviews this company is all about the sales and not about the service. Very old school processes and methods and no communication. My parents had to return early from India due to Covid in April 2021. Not only have they not refunded still after 18 months which is totally unacceptable. The airlines have paid the funds back to this company yet they are still claiming that they have not had the funds back. My mother spoke to Nita today and not only was she rude to her, she eventually hung up on her saying why do you keep hassling us for the refund, we will pay you when we receive the funds. This is not the way a customer should be treated. Poor customer services.

Negative experience: My elderly parents cancelled their flights in March 2020 and are still awaiting refunds. We have made in excess of 20 phone calls and sent as many emails but we always get excuses and lies. They have had the refund from Qatar Airlines and have been holding onto it. Please do not use this company as they are only interested in sales and not service. They cannot even commit to a date when my parents will be refunded. Shameful and disgraceful.

Negative experience: This review is regarding the awful service that I have received from World moon travel. We brought three air tickets from world moon travel for a total of £1260, a week before our flight due to COVID the flights got cancelled. The day after I called Nita, she clearly stated that we will be able to change the ticket to another date whenever it is suitable for us to go again but she will not be able to give us a refund, I agreed to this as I was happy to change the ticket to another suitable date later at another time. After a few months I went back to Nita, she stated that the flights that we were suppose to go on were currently closed. However I called Air India, which was my airline and they said that the flights are running. Even after informing Nita of this she did not book a new date for us. After this Nita finally said that if I pay an extra £106 she will be able to change the date for me, again I happily agreed to this as I thought the prices would have increased and that is why she was asking for the extra money. So after this she provided to us E-tickets, we called air India regarding this to ensure that they are okay but air India informed us that these air tickets are not valid. As this happened in January, there was another lockdown in the UK and therefore I did not chase this up as I knew I would have not been able to go anyway. After all the above happened, I asked her for a refund but she said she would not be able to give a refund but she can give a voucher which can only work at her travel agency. We agreed to this. Now coming to what has been happening in the last few days. My sister is extremely unwell in India and therefore we are having to go to India urgently. When I asked her if I can use the voucher she said that I cannot because they do not have an update from air India. This does not make any sense as the flights are working perfectly well now. Now I have had to buy new tickets from a trusty and reliable travel agent because I have no choice as Nita is not willing to give me a refund or use the voucher she ensured I would be able to use. I feel extremely upset by this as I was ensured that I will be able to change my date in the near future, it is the pandemic and everyone has been struggling especially with finances so it is very disappointing when a travel agency who, I trusted very well has done this to me in this very difficult situation.

Negative experience: Terrible lying and dishonest scumbags. Have kept our refund for cancelled flights and do not pay us our money. It has been 1 year and still no repayment. Do not buy from here. Please all contact trading standards and citizens advice bureau. Can't wait to finally catch up with the owners, its only a matter of time until i do.

Negative experience: This place must be the worst travel agency in the world - don't use them. I am still waiting for over £10k refund- they have one excuse after another. I've been waiting over 8 months. They are useless, unfriendly cowboys and so is their parent company SkyExpress!!

Negative experience: Awful customer service and awful people. My grandfather had booked a trip away with Moon World Travel before poor health meant that he could no longer go away. We complied with all agreed terms and requested a PARTIAL refund due to the circumstances, understanding that a full refund was not appropriate, but that we were legally entitled to a partial refund. Over 8 months later Moon World Travel have been evading the issue, ignoring phone calls and emails, even trying to direct us to their sister company rather than fulfilling the partial refund. We will be starting legal proceedings and ensuring all friends and family never use Moon World Travel again.

Positive experience: Fast and efficient. Knowledgeable team. Had to wrangle a bit to get them to take credit card payment at the end of the month due to there monthly accounts being prepared. But they did step up take payment and issue e-tickets with no issue. They are competitive against online and other high street travel agents.

Negative experience: They’re cheating the people they gave me tickets with 40kg baggage Allowance after 4 weeks they call me and said air line change baggage policy and you baggage Allowance has been changed in to 30kg to going and coming back 25kg I spoke to air line they said to me your agent booked that way we didn’t change anything. Then I spoke moon world and tell them that’s your mistake to book tickets then they said we will find out then call you since three weeks they don’t call me back and no one answer me there for I going to court about that matter.

Negative experience: DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTISTS. BEEN CHASING UP FOR A MANAGER FOR OVER A MONTH, STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO SPEAK TO ONE. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, TELL YOU THEY'VE CONFIRMED YOUR TICKETS WHEN THEY HAVEN'T AND WAIT TILL LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE YOU DEPART TO TELL YOU THEY'VE CHANGED THE FLIGHT COMPANY AND TIMES. SCAM ARTISTS WITH NO REMORSE. WORST EXPERIENCE.

Negative experience: One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Told me one thing before booking but - once they had my money - told me something else. Told me that I could have one free flight change and then told me that free means I may have to pay for it!! Five times I was told that someone would ring me back but no one bothered. Just because this firm services mostly not so well off sell Asian clients, that does not mean that they should provide such a poor level of service. It is pointless asking to speak to the a 'Manager' to complain as there doesn't seem to one available ever. Last time ever I book with this outfit.
