Fantastic experience: Our go to travel agent - simply the best! We have used Trailfinders for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. Last year Joanna spent such a long time with us fixing a long trip including Japan, Australia and Singapore. She paid attention to every detail, shared personal experience, made suggestions and negotiated great deals and upgrades. Negative experience: Just booked holiday of a lifetime with Trailfinders to Australia and Newzealand. All went well with actual booking process but of course the test is sadly when something goes wrong. Unfortunately our luggage did not arrive with us and although we booked and paid Trailfinders to organise the trip they have left it with ourselves to sort out saying they will not be contacting Emirates. The first day of our 5 days in Sydney has been ruined and we still don’t have our luggage. Looks like this will continue into tomorrow. We have had to cancel an excursion today snd possibly tomorrow as well. Unfortunately seems there was little point in booking through Trailfinders. I would have been as well booking myself as they we y have left us with it. An update to this review as of 8th April. Trailfinders eventually made contact with myself and offered their apologies and a voucher as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused.

Negative experience: Bumped - a 14 day stay in Canada, first hotel across the road from a busy hospital, 2- hire car company doesn't have sat nav or winter tyres as standard despite being assured. 3 - despite being told that our drives between stops ("no more than a couple of hours") 2 drives on sequential days of 8hrs plus (one on our anniversary - the point of the trip) 4 - excursions booked out of season 5 - you would think the trailfinders "expert" would advise that the trip would be better held off to the spring/summer - not a hint, only interested in getting a booking from us Avoid like the proverbial

We were in great hands with Felicity and she sorted out a honeymoon for us in no time and we were very surprised at what’s included in the price, great value. Would highly recommend if you’re thinking of planning a “special” holiday, especially a honeymoon. We will definitely be back in the future for our next adventure.

Fantastic experience: Travel expert, Dan Spicer, yet again found a fabulous 10 day holiday in the Seychelles for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We had contacted Dan 5 years ago, when he arranged a memorable 25th Anniversary holiday in Antigua Unfortunately, we had to cancel our holiday as my mother-in-law, took unwell and passed away at the age of 99, just before our anniversary. My father also passed 6 days later, at the age of 93, on the day of our anniversary. The holiday just wasn't meant to be Our travel insurance company, UK Insurance, through our Nationwide bank account, were very understanding, and we got the full cost of our holiday refunded, less £50 excess each.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to trail finder. Joanna was so helpful and friendly. I liked her. she searched for the best price and all the flights connection time for me. Definitely I will come back here and will recommend friends too. Thank you Joanne. We went in at 1.15pm today. We patiently waited for nearly three hours before we got served by lovely Alex. We got it sorted in 50min. It was insane having to wait that long time. We can't fault the staff. Three staffs is not enough. We have noticed a couple of the clients taking at least three hours or more of the staff time. One didn't even purchase the ticket. When we left one couple were still there. It's crazy!! By the way love the new office deco.

Fantastic experience: We visited the Glasgow branch which we had used before. Our advisor was Jason Paul who was very welcoming and knowledgable. We explained what we had in mind which involved several flights and car hire in some places. Jason listened and just over an hour later all our plans were in place. Great service and great staff who really do their job well.

Fantastic experience: ***Amended Review, i was called back from a manager to discuss what had happened and I was informed that the girl didn't take my number down even though I had given her it on the phone. I greatly appreciate that the management have taken time to get in touch with me however, i have now booked my trip to the Maldives with another company. I called on monday morning to find out about a holiday to the Maldives and the girl i spoke to told me she would call me back in a few hours after enquiring about prices and my dietary requirements. Never heard anything back. Was told not to try this place by friends as they had the same problem but i thought i would give it a go. Same nonsense. Why not just say to the customer that your not interested in their business rather than wasting their time!!!! Please do not reply with a contact number to call as I have lost confidence in your services

Fantastic experience: Ewan was first class, hotels recommended in Iceland and Boston were very central for sight seeing , restaurants and local travel . Flights out ward bound were great, bit of a problem with cancellations and delays on homeward journey but sorted out by Sarah Lou and Simon.

Fantastic experience: Used trail finders to book a multi city USA trip, which was fantastic. Excellent value, in fact cost half the price of another well known travel agent. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and the hotels they recommended were fantastic, Michael who I dealt with was so helpful and it was no problem to him to spend around half an hour searching for ideal hotel for us in one of the cities. I will definitely be using this company again as everything was so easy and whole trip went so smoothly

Negative experience: Not really happy with the service they give? Maximum profit, minimum service! Anything goes wrong them and the travel insurance the sell you don't want to know! Quick enough to take your mony when you walk through the door. Have used a few times over the year's, but nore.

Negative experience: Efficiency of the sales staff is very variable - some extremely good and some extremely poor - so you take pot luck when you phone. They unashamedly charge twice the price of those available on the internet for their Japanese Bespoke tours.
