Fantastic experience: Ever since I arrived in the UK, I was looking to explore the historic sites in and around Cambridge. Also, I wanted to learn a bit about the British history and culture. While walking in the Cambridge city center, I came across this pamphlet describing the different tours from Cambridge that are arranged by Roots Travel. I opted for the following tours:- 1> Stonehenge And Bath 2> Stratford and the Cotswolds 3> Winsdor and Oxford. It was a wonderful experience for me to visit these places and also get to learn about the history associated with these places. Matt the tour guide is very knowledgeable. You can discuss anything with him from history to science to politics. I got to learn a lot about British history and culture from him. I would recommend folks to opt for the tours that are arranged by Roots Travel.

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of touring Bath and Stonehenge guided by Matt last week and I must say it was truly exceptional. Matt’s expert knowledge and passion for Stonehenge were stunning. He provided us with fascinating insights into the origins, findings, and the various theories surrounding this beautiful ancient monument. His explanations were clear, engaging, and filled with interesting details that brought the stones to life. Thanks to Matt, we have learned to appreciate not only Stonehenge but other historical monuments more than ever now. Also, I must mention this – Matt’s enthusiasm is infectious – look how engrossed this passerby and his family were just listening to Matt – they weren’t part of the tour but followed us closely, for the free lectures on the stones. I live in Cambridge and I came across Roots Travel advertisement while walking around town – one of those laminated A4 papers hanging by the fences. There weren’t many tours I can find that departs from Cambridge, most of them depart from London and I am glad that I did not take any of that because I believe they’ll be too touristy and less informative for me. I highly recommend Roots Travel; in particularly, Matt – who made our trip not just insightful but incredibly fun and memorable!

Fantastic experience: We spent a great day enjoying the North Norfolk Coast, its small and colorful towns, huge beaches, very cute seals in their natural habitat and delicious fish 'n' chips on the sunny quay of Wells-next-the-Sea. What made the tour so great was our guide Matt - so knowledgeable and passionate, we learned a lot about the beautiful area and would definitely join one of his future tours.

Fantastic experience: I went to Stanford upon Avon and the cotswold with them and it was an amazing experience. Matt was the best. Also he was really helpful and caring. He explained everything in detail and his knowledge regarding the area and the tour is amazing. Also had enough time to take photos of the places and also to wander around too. The environment was also friendly during the complete journey and definitely go again with roots travel.
