Negative experience: The holiday was great as we made it great but the 5 star resort was not 5 star and lacked in many areas of what was described. Beware of Travel Republics customer service which is shocking and especially if you are trying to book a private transfer which is ridiculously overpriced and poor service. I was travel with my wife and our baby boy who was 6 months old to turkey. What made and destroyed the holiday even worse was coming back to the UK when we had booked a private transfer with Travel Republic and their supplier Koral Travel. However, nobody showed up to pick me and my family and my distressed baby to take us to the airport. I had to individually find my own transport back which was horrific at 4am in the morning. So not only did I pay £400 for the transfer I also had to pay another £80 for a private taxi. I complained to travel republic and showed all the evidence as I tried to contact Koral Travel. The response I got back was shocking. (Please see attached response). I replied back saying….” That is totally not correct because we were at the hotel lobby waiting and if they arrived at 4pm why did they not go to the concierge to contact us and why did no one contact us before hand to arrange a time. I am disgusted by your response to this and shocked at your acceptance of their explanation. This is totally unacceptable! I have attached a photo of me trying to contact Koral Travel on the numbers given.” What made it even more disrespectful and not following their own policies is each customer advisor determines the outcome of your complaint as my sister in laws family came and had the same response but when they complained the got a refund which was disgusting to hear. I have contacted travel republic again to explain and was told someone will be in touch but no one got back to me which is disgusting service. I have been abroad many many times and all over the world and have used Travel republic around 4/5 times and never complained even though there have been issues. BEWARE booking with travel republic and my opinion don’t do it to yourself. Normally I do not agree with customer is always right but my situation I was totally right and god forbid something worse was to happen god knows how I would have been treated. Especially travelling with a baby the distress it caused my wife and baby was upsetting. Thank you for reading all.

Negative experience: Awful experience with travel republic for hotel bookings in Cuba - stay away and book with a reputable travel company. We booked several hotel stays with this company in Cuba, various locations around the island. Travel republic did NOT pay the hotels (even though we have prepaid months in advance) and we spent most of our holidays in contact with their useless customer services team (they might as well have a chat bot instead). Stay away!!

Positive experience: Had good experience June but contacted them through Facebook to question payment options for next June to be told they would pass on my details to customer service so far no contact finally tr got in touch to late to make any difference thanks for nothing

You will book a hotel with: -more then 12 swimmingpools -live music everyday -2 daily shows of 45 minutes -more then 1km beach -several events a week -with over 10 bars -and a big aquapark -big entertainment team -great drink selection -great breakfast They will send you to a hotel: -2 swimming pools (1 of which is being renovated) -tiny aqupark -1 show of 20 minutes, also love music is considered a full show here -small beach -small entertainment team -little variety in drinks or breakfast Their policy states that they have to compansate us, but they told us thet they cant because their middle man doesnt want to. First of all the middle man is not my business and second youbput it in you owwn policy.

Fantastic experience: Our visit to Parga Beach Resort was superb. The staff are extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The buidings and grounds are beautiful and designed for relaxation and due to all the flora and fauna it really does give you a feeling of being in paradise. The area is glorious - you can decide to relax on the beach or explore the local town, fort or old monastery, all within walking distance. Great for young families or people looking for a quieter, more refined beach holiday. We will definitely return!

I simply find what I want on the expensive sites that tend to have more about the hotel, then check travel republic and another couple of similar sites and more than 95% of the time I book with travel republic.

Fantastic experience: Great hotel - smart, two pools and central seafront location. All-inclusive was very good value as so much was available within the package and the bar staff are friendly. Mealtimes could be a bit chaotic with table availability when the restaurant was busy, but the food was mostly very good, with some cooked at the buffet. Cala Millor has a wide variety of shops and a gently-shelving beach: the seafront offers very pleasant walks and the tourist office is friendly, with maps and advice. It's quiet in the day and evenings, so suitable for older people like me. I've booked with Travelrepublic's hotel and transfer providers in Spain a number of times before and once again, found them reliable and good quality (I booked flights direct). Would like to return.

Negative experience: Fine. If you don’t mind paying for things like transfers and they don’t turn up or try to take you to the wrong hotel? Travel Republic clearly don’t care about customer service. Holiday price approx £1300.. Provides us the service issues above? And feels a refund of £34 back is providing a customer service experience for their customers? Dump us wherever then why don’t you? Incredibly poor service.. Won’t be using them again after this farce.. Recommend you book carefully with this company. They clearly only interested in making money. Regardless of the customer service experience.

Negative experience: DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! Shocking service. Couldn’t get the names right on the booking. Couldn’t get the deposit right. Even though I was only paying the balance next year, the next day I got 12 emails demanding payment immediately. Cannot overstate how bad the service was here.

Negative experience: We had a very expensive holiday to Dubai in October. We treated ourselves to 2 rooms in a 5* hotel costing £5,400 for the hotel, not inc flights. While there, we had two occasions of water coming through the light fittings. A flooded bathroom floor. A toilet that continually had the water running and a blocked toilet. We were offered less than £100 in resort credit while there and the travel agency have supported the hotel on this. It represents less than 2% of what we paid. Thankfully my credit card company are assisting me. I would not use this travel agency again. Unfortunately I cannot upload the videos to this complaint so just a horrible toilet image! ‘I have added a copy of the company response suggesting that this was an isolated incident.. We had one day of a flooded bathroom floor. Two days, 4 days apart, of water dripping through light fittings. One day of a blocked toilet and a continual water flow in the other bathroom. Each issue was reported to the hotel.’

Negative experience: Had the worst experience with Travel Republic. Paid for an upgraded room but they booked me the cheapest one and when I flagged to them it took them 2 weeks to tell me that sometimes these systems errors happen and if I want the upgraded room I now have to pay an extra £700+. Negative experience: Just arrived in Thailand for our dream holiday with our 16 year old son, we booked a 2 bedroom suite and the accommodation we booked with travel republic doesn’t exist, now we have to share the whole holiday in the same bedroom, we asked reception if they could do anything but all they could do was to offer an additional room at the standard rate , we went from excitement to disappointment instantly, if you are booking with travel republic I would really reconsider, I was on the phone hours booking explaining what we wanted and it’s never s problem till you get where you are going , but then it’s too late Booking ref

Fantastic experience: No complaints so far

Negative experience: Booked a holiday through travel Republic in which we had to change rooms 3 times in one week. The hotel was unsafe, dirty and very noisy. There were workmen breaking up concrete on the path outside our room which was dropping down from above our heads. We were woken up by drilling and shouting in the room above us which continued all day. We paid for a one bedroom apartment and got given a studio with no bathroom door. 3 months later and travel Republic still won't resolve my complaint. They refuse to take any responsibility despite taking my money. Will ever never use again.

Fantastic experience: Golden Coast was wonderful, especially the all inclusive, it catered for everyone and everything. All staff members were full committed to their position, even though I felt the entertainment was one sided. Facilities were endless, again something for everyone. It was a safe and comfortable environment, we were in the bungalows, they were basic but spotless the housekeeping spot on. I’m unable to eat garlic but the staff made sure I was aware what I should and shouldn’t eat, spoiled for choice. It’s perfectly located for those travelling from various countries to visit Athens and all its historical attractions. We will definitely return to Golden Coast.

Negative experience: BEWARE WHEN BOOKING WITH TRAVEL REPUBLIC ! I booked a hotel in Dubai for December, for 2 studio rooms for 3 people. We then received a message saying that our rooms are no longer available. I went onto the official website and saw that the studio rooms were in fact available. They refused to change it back to our original booking and tried to charge us an EXTRA £1000+ TO CHANGE IT BACK, WHEN IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT THAT IT HAD BEEN CHANGED. I refuse to book with Travel Republic again ! Save your money and time, and book with a company more reputable !

Positive experience: First time with travel republic. I found the service excellent. Every time I needed help I received it. Ryanair flights was great as I was worried. But our problem is they don't seem to have good hotels. Ours said 4 star it was more like a 2 half star. Not good for children and not in a great location for children. I think it would be better if travel republic helped more in advice with the appropriate hotels and locations especially with children. I know they want you to buy a holiday but it would be nicer to enjoy and go again if good. Transfer good although the one on the way back was very ignorant and wouldn't help anyone.. Maybe I would go with travel republic again but I would be more careful on picking hotel and location. Di

Negative experience: Booked a holiday using the TopCashback website, sadly TR failed to honour the cashback they offered. Reading the many reviews on the TopCashback website it 'appears' their cashback offer is a 'scam' and they do not repay any customers. Please proceed with caution, if they are offering cashback and this is your reason to use Travel Republic. For what its worth booking ref ACM/20594816. Needless to say after listing the booking number above, nothing was done! UPDATE: TR emailed to say they would pay out in November! They did not and no funds have been received as of 13 Dec 23.

Fantastic experience: It is a great company to book your holidays. Good support and the best prices.

Negative experience: Absolute appaling service. No email address, no one calls you back. We are left to sleep in horrid conditions, we are already £70 quid deep in phone bills whilst waiting for them to sort our accommodation. Two days of our holiday are now wasted. Absolutely unacceptable. Update: They put us in a dirty room with COCKROACHES . After now 48h, and now close to £100 phone bills in trying to sort this out with them, nobody has contacted us. We have an infant and a toddler with us. STAY CLEAR FROM THIS AGENT!!!

Fantastic experience: Cas Saboners was a wonderful hotel. It was friendly with a lovely atmosphere, spotlessly clean and the staff were kind and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Booked through travel republic which was perfect, updates on the holiday every step. Easyjet flights delayed only by one hour which seems to be the norm with Easyjet this year.

Fantastic experience: WOW!!! We returned to this beachfront hotel 22 years after first visiting, we took our 2 grown up children for a final "memorable" family holiday. The staff at the hotel were amazing and when they found out that we had been there in 2001 they made us feel extra special. Both rooms had a sea view, both were large, clean, comfortable and air conditioned. The meals were all buffet style and there were always lots of options to choose from, the quality of food was generally very good and the service of the drinks waiters was fantastic. We were on the all inclusive package and the snack menu available from the bar was extensive but only available between 11-12 and 4-5 unfortunately. The drinks from the bar were great and also had a decent selection of cocktails to choose from. Sunbeds were always available and towels provided. Perhaps the best thing however about this fantastic hotel is the attitude of the staff , we were always being told that if there was anything that we wanted then we only had to ask, and they did indeed provide anything that we requested. Very special thanks to :- Sisira Senaratne (General Manager) Dilsha (guest relations), Nalin and Kalinga (bar staff), Presad (pool attendant), Jacob, Nihal, Jananjaya and Nuwan (restaurant), these are just a few of the brilliant staff members, but every single person at the hotel were so friendly and welcoming. So sorry to leave this wonderful hotel but will hopefully return again soon.

Fantastic experience: We loved our 2 night stay at the sofital , fab location , beautiful pool area with thick cushions at the top part of the sun deck, staff throughout were courteous and helpful. Cafe at reception was fantastic, amazing cakes to choose fron , reception staff also extremely helpful, introduced us to the accor reward system which saved us money Perfect

Fantastic experience: Mainare Playa Fuengirola.. Just back two weeks from a wonderful week spent at this hotel. Great friendly staff from reception bar staff cleaning and maintenance. Restaurant was open but we were room only. And what a room Seaview/pool view. Large balcony on fifth floor. Towels changed every day and room cleaned. Pool area great always managed a sun lounger.Beach just across main road where you'd find bars and restaurants.All in All great hotel ,will certainly go back.

Fantastic experience: XL Senses Otium hotel in Sarigerme was wonderful. Very clean, lovely air-conditioned rooms and the most beautiful pool and views. The food was excellent; loads of choice and beautifully cooked. Well done chefs! The staff were helpful and friendly. The cocktails flowed all day and we enjoyed every minute. The beach with shallow, clear, warm sea was just 4 mins away on the free shuttle with a kind and accomodating driver. The shack there also provided free food and drink and a shower and toilet. The hotel is only 20mins from the airport too. It is not a hotel to go to for lots of activity but for relaxation and peace it was perfect. So pretty! Travel Republic....my only suggestion is you make your taxi transfer stand a lot more obvious at Dalaman airport. It took a lot of hunting out with no clear signage.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing holiday. The hotel was 5 star in every respect. I personally think the Preferred Club upgrade is worth the little extra as the room locations are superb, and the lounge is a very nice alternative for some chill out time and a nice cocktail.

Fantastic experience: A Flawless Family Experience at IKOS Spain Our recent holiday to IKOS in Spain, facilitated by Travel Republic, was nothing short of spectacular. We're a family of four with two delightful boys aged 7 and 2. From the outset, Travel Republic impressed us with their meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that even our private transfer was equipped with child seats. It's the little things that make all the difference, isn't it? The resort itself boasts world-class restaurants, an array of children's activities, and a staff that exudes warmth and friendliness. While our toddler was thrilled with the kid's pool and park, our elder son couldn't get enough of the pools, the engaging kids' club, the football sessions, and, of course, the unlimited ice cream and gourmet dishes on offer. To top it all, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary Tesla for a day. We made the most of it, taking a picturesque drive up the mountains, which was truly the cherry on top of an already fantastic holiday. Some might raise an eyebrow at the price tag associated with IKOS, but trust me, the value is unparalleled. It's not just about the tangible amenities, but the peace of mind knowing that every need is taken care of, the safety and security the resort ensures for children, and the top-notch service that accompanies every interaction. To sum it up, if you're looking for a memorable family getaway where the essence of luxury meets the heart of hospitality, IKOS Spain is the destination. We're already marking our calendars for next year's trip!

Fantastic experience: Smy Tahona is a quiet hotel off the main strip. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are maintained well. I found the food to be plentiful with a very good choice at all meal times. We didn't see anything wrong with the food during our stay, sometimes I think people have a tendency to expect more but you are in a different country. This is what All-in-inclusive is all about. For us it ticked the main boxes, Clean bedding fresh towels and good food.

Fantastic experience: We got back last week from the most amazing 10 night stay. Everything about the GF Isabel was just perfect, from the minute we checked in (fastest ever, I think we were in our room within 5 minutes) to the minute we left. The staff everywhere throughout the hotel were courteous and very helpful. The hotel layout was just beautiful, a really lovely village feel without seeming overly big. Everything was always immaculate, from the hedges and walkways to the public area toilets and seating areas. The pool areas had SO many beds and parasols, the only “sunbed war” rush at 10am was to secure some guests’ sacred favourite places, or beds directly by the pool side. The quiet sun decks never seemed used, and the jacuzzi was always lovely and quiet. And we absolutely adored all the cats, with their very own house, such a lovely touch. The food in the restaurant was incredible. If we had stayed for a month, I still don’t think we would have sampled everything on offer, and the selection at the pool snack bar was also ridiculously good. The staff in the restaurant were efficient and welcoming, and there was a good range of drinks offered on all inclusive, with more than one option for some things. The day time entertainment and facilities were brilliant and varied, the team were WONDERFUL, so energetic, and genuinely friendly and keen to talk. They had incredible enthusiasm, even doing the pool side hotel dance in the blazing heat.. sometimes in hilarious, but very hot, kids club dressing up outfits. And the evening entertainment was of very high quality and provided a good variety of acts. Our apartment was beautiful, with everything we needed. We were top floor so had a stunning view of whole hotel which we loved. We had great air conditioning and a powerful shower, a big spacious balcony and lovely comfy beds. And it was cleaned beautifully each day for us. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the beautiful prom and beach. I can recommend the Moonlight Bar and the Sky Bar if you want a bit of late night rowdy entertainment, and the rocky walkway into the sea near the mini golf to see all the huge black crabs. The one and only downside of our whole stay was the issue with “accidents” in the pool, which was obviously out of the hotel’s control! However, it was always dealt with efficiently and as quickly as possible. My only suggestion would be to possibly restrict the age of the very young children using the main pool, as they do have the splash park pool, and the “quiet” pool. All in all, I have to say that this was the best holiday I have ever had and we are definitely going back.

I've booked many trips with them and a recent one to Thailand for a big group of 19, I was a little apprehensive and was worried about any glitches because I booked it all online by myself, everything was perfect from flights, hotels to transfers! Fantastic experience: I have used Travel Replubic a few times now and they are always excellent. Very clear instructions and documentation about flights, hotels and transfers are sent via email and reminders and other notifications are reassuring throughout the whole travel/vacation experience.

Negative experience: Very inconsiderate travel agency! We booked a very expensive holiday with them and paid in full. Due to mitigating circumstances that were beyond our control we were unable to travel. We contacted travel republic and requested to rearrange dates or even get a travel voucher so we could rebook the holiday. They did nothing to help and showed very little sympathy! It's such a shame that a big company like this can show very little compassion! Once they take your money, they don't care basically! Be extra careful before considering booking a holiday with them!

Positive experience: Had an amazing experience. Lovely flights, hotel. Transfers were not great as they cancelled the day before flying so I had to sort it out last minute, however the Travel Republic advisor was really apologetic and explained everything thoroughly and refunded my transfers fully as it wasn't my fault.I have deducted 1 star as,Travel Republic could not book any replacement transfers for me. Had a fab time in Stockholm. Would definitely use Travel Republic again.

Fantastic experience: Excellent hotel, wonderful staff, especially Havva on reception. Rooms cleaned daily, nice buffet breakfast. Pool area very nice, lots of sunbeds. Reggae the bar manager is brilliant, plays really good music throughout the day.

Positive experience: Travel Republic not as organised as Jet 2. The holiday was great, travel republic s organisation was a bit poor. I first paid for the hoiday but it didnt book. I got my cashback which was recinded. I rebooked next day, this time it booked, but my cashback didnt track and still hasnt. I paid full, yet at the hotel they charged me. Apparently Travel republics credit card hadnt paid. After about i week, im home and countless phone calls, it is sorted. This system needs looking into
