Fantastic experience: We had the most amazing 10 days kitesurfing in Mauritius. First of all the team in the UK were super helpful and answered all our queries until the day we flew away! We were in Le Morne and stayed at the St Regis Resort. What a place! Beautiful spot, super nice staff and the food was amazing. About 5 different restaurants to chose from. The kitesurfing spot was round the corner, about 5 mins by car but you would not even know it as the hotel is on this fabulous white sand beach with no wind! The kitesurfing was super, we were looked after by the ION Club. My sons and I had individual lessons and we progress hugely. My husband, an experienced kitesurfer was impressed by the instructors. Again super friendly and helpful. Back at the hotel we hired electric bikes which was fun and went exploring around the island. This is the third holiday booked with Planet and I cannot recommend them enough. All three holidays have been different and very special. Thank you to the whole team, you are great.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Planet Travel and their Partner Solis for making our Mauritius Holiday a great success:) Right from arrival at the Airport through to leaving we were looked after with a smile. The St Regis Hotel is fabulous, with stunning grounds, beach and facilities. our accommodation was perfect (junior Suite) with easy access to the beach and short walk (or buggy ride) to the main buildings where the restaurants, bars, Library, Games room, cinema and spa are situated. Access to the IOS windsurfing (for me) and Kite and Wing boarding for others is perfect, either next to the hotel with Off shore winds or on the other side of the peninsular for on shore winds (with 3 minute transfer only a text request away):) Solis organized some great trips around the Island for us with personal guides that worked very well, and the Snorkeling boat cruises in various spots around the island are well worth doing. Thanks to All for making our holiday so easy and enjoyable in the amazing Mauritius:)

Fantastic experience: It is not often I would respond to a request post a trip, however, Le Tour D'Eole Dakhla was an exceptional experience - I have had the fortune to stay in many wonderful locations around the globe and this is one of the best - accommodation, the location, the incredibly attentive and always helpful staff, fabulous Kite School and location and above all the cuisine - every day!! - was amazing. I will go back again and have already recommended it to friends. As for Planet Travels input in organising, many thanks and I will use and recommend your company any time for this and other trips. Fantastic experience: I booked a kitesurfing holiday with Planet Travel a couple of years ago. Have just booked another holiday, but this time with quite different requirements. Highly recommended - this company actually knows about the sports, locations and facilities on offer. They visit the resorts, know the layouts and know how to recommend the best options for your requirements and budget. They will work with you to tweak the holiday until it is a perfect fit. I also trust them to help when snags arise: I had one minor problem last time where the resort kiteschool thought something wasn't paid, but since they knew it was planet-travel they were happy to proceed and sort out directly with agent, with no further involvement from me. Great experience.

Fantastic experience: I found these guys on google when looking for a windsurf holiday for my Dad. I was a bit sceptical at first as I hadn't heard of them but then I had a call with Matt and I was really impressed. He sent me a list of holiday options in an email the same day and showed really good knowledge of the locations explaining the pros and cons. We wanted a nice hotel, with tennis, snorkelling, windsurfing, kitesurfing all in the same venue. Fantastic experience: This is the second time I have used Planet Travel and for good reason, they are first rate. I booked a trip earlier this year to Dahkla and recently a trip to Bonaire. Matt is very knowledgeable about all of these sites having been there before and makes reliable recommendations on what to do, where to stay and when to go based on what fits your needs. Furthermore he was patient and understanding and happy to look into numerous options and scenarios to make sure I got what I was looking for. I will use them again.

Fantastic experience: I don't normally bother leaving reviews but felt after our recent holiday to Mauritius, organised through Planet Travel I should. We wanted a holiday where my wife could read a book and I could enjoy watersports, with this in mind they advised on the perfect place. Before speaking to them we spoke to the larger travel companies who had no real knowledge of the resorts other than what was printed in the brochure, Planet Travel not only knew the resorts but advised and booked all the hire equipment , hotel and transfers , it was pretty seamless. We did have a minor issue with the hotel which wasn't resolved when speaking to the reception staff so phoned the guys at Planet Travel (and got straight through) who had it sorted in the hour. Price wise they were actually a little cheaper the larger companies . We will 100% be booking with them again .

Fantastic experience: Just finished booking a short windsurfing trip away with Planet Travel - they have been awesome throughout the process. Matt helped me from the first call and has amazing knowledge of every venue and was really honest about the pros and cons of the various options (having experienced them himself). I was also a difficult customer as I was unclear on dates, then changed them and I was also very last minute and over a school half term... Not easy but Matt was totally unflustered and patient and walked through the booking all the way to a happy conclusion. I cannot recommend Planet Travel enough.

Fantastic experience: Earlier this year I booked a diving trip for my son and me - our first diving holiday so I needed advice. I chose Planet Travel, having been aware of them for some time through friends who have booked kitesurfing holidays. I had several calls with the team when booking the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, they gave me many tailored recommendations, and were prepared to spend as much time as it took for me to take the right decision. It was very clear that the advice was honest and based on personal experience from having visited the resorts. What's more, the support from the Planet team did not stop at booking. They helped with an issue at the resort (swiftly resolved) and even helped me to claim compensation for a delayed return flight. The holiday was great success - one of the best ever - and was made so by Planet Travel. As a result my wife and I have just chosen them for booking another holiday. The call was taken by Marcus on a work trip in Peru (I think he said) on Friday evening. We spent an hour discussing options, a quote came through within another hour and we booked the next day. Just fantastic service.

Matt, having been to Morocco and stayed at the Caravan (Dakhla), was able to accurately inform of what to expect when I arrived there. Matt you were spot on and the resort was an incredible gem. The staff were without exception, friendly, competent, and polite. The food was in a different world and the close proximity to the water, was as you described. A special shout out for Ayob and Abdul from the Kite school who went out of their way to assist. We rented a 15m Core and bar on a light wind morning, and used their lockers to store all our kite gear. On the last day, without being asked to, they took out our kites, inflated them, washed them down and dried/folded them for transportation back home. Amazing. Thank you Planet Kitesurf. For sure we'll avail of your excellent service on future kiting adventures.

Fantastic experience: My wife, adult son and myself had the best time staying at the Melia resort INNSide in Fuerteventura. Thanks to Matt and the team at Planet Kitesurf for this recommendation. Even though we didn't have much wind the week we went, it's such a lovely hotel, stylish, comfortable and in a beautiful location with a tidal lagoon and huge expanse of the cleanest beach and azure waters. And the food and staff are fabulous. We will definitely be back for more.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a windsurfing trip to Soma Bay which we booked through Planet Windsurf. The process was great and easy - we had a rough idea of what we wanted so Matt sent through several tailored recommendations. We stayed at Palm Royale and windsurfed with Surf Motion which is right next door. Both the hotel and the centre were great, would highly recommend both. Windsurfing conditions were perfect for us - sandy beach, consistent wind and warm water. They also had a lot of kite surfing and wing foiling. The travel arrangements were all easy, Planet Windsurf send you travel docs which cover everything you need. Spring Tours were the local company who handled the airport transfers - the guys were very friendly and gave us good tips as it was our first time in Egypt. Overall a great recommendation from Planet Windsurf and a super easy process from start to finish!

Fantastic experience: I spent some time looking for diving holidays in Sardinia. Most sites now seem to request you contact them for prices, but Planet travel was one of the quickest to respond. They also provided a range of options price wise and responded correctly to the questions I had (some sites failed on this point), The advisor who responded to me (Matt) was knowledgeable and looked into and responded to my follow up questions quickly. Of the 3 price options provided their cheapest (the one I picked) was still better overall than the closest competitor quote. So far I am very happy with their service.

Fantastic experience: Great trip to SOMA Bay for 4 days off wingfoiling with party of 3. Perfect conditions in the Bay, SurfMotion school was great team and kit. Palm Royale as a hotel is so-so but then again we were there for the watersports and it was perfectly ok for what we were after. thank you to Marcus for helping get us booked in at Planet.

Fantastic experience: Casa Cook was an ideal location for me and my wife; Matt's brilliant advice for it as a good kite foiling spot and the best room to go for (sea view) was invaluable. It's a walk of about 100-150m to get beyond the reef for foiling, which is pretty easy given the winds are steady. Hotel, pool, food and room all of a really high standard, as were the super helpful staff. The kite centre is part of the hotel's pool/bar complex and is one of the best I've seen. For a couple where only one of you kites this place is perfect. Thanks Planet.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to the team for sorting out an excellent liveaboard on Aggressor III in Belize. All the travel worked really smoothly. The Planet Travel App was really useful and worked perfectly with all the information easily available, and the United airlines App was good too. They had to do a fair bit of chasing for information, and emails from the team kept us right, was very much appreciated and not easy when divers coming from London and Daka. From the outset I was given a personal service that I wouldn’t have received from a std holiday company and this was despite me being a somewhat “challenging” customer! Both times, his responses have been super quick, the information has been full and reliable, and his knowledge of the best kitesurfing spots is second to none. Fantastic experience: I've used Matt and the planet travel team twice now. First time round i wasn't so sure as i hadn't use a travel company before to help organise a holiday; second time round i had absolutely no doubt who i was contacting for help..Matt (my first planet travel holiday was unreal, all thanks to Matt) Matt was super professional, very responsive and helpful; he knew all the 'spots' around the location i was interested in so he was able to give me a detailed insight into all my options. Once you've booked, the planet travel app gives you easy access to all the info you might need prior and during your holiday so no worrying about that. I can't recommend Matt and the planet travel team highly enough ! If, like i did, you have any reservations about booking with a travel agent..ignore yourself, you're being silly.

Fantastic experience: Great All round experience, makes booking a water sports trip very simple, fantastic range of options for locations and all ran very smoothly.

Negative experience: I was expecting face to face service, as appeared in Google, but the girl at the phone in her twenties instead to just answer my question, start asking questions to me trying to persuade me to do online, and I was in a rush to book a trip, and I have to stop her talking and said very assertive :Sorry, not interested!
