Fantastic experience: Absolutely loved it! Becky was a friendly and enthusiastic guide who clearly enjoys and appreciates what she's doing. The walk itself was very well paced for all ages and walking levels (IMO) and was a great introduction to the street art of Shoreditch. There was a good mix of artists - from the famous to the not so famous - as well as a good amount of culture and history thrown in. I would think it's a great start to more self exploration of this fascinating, multi cultural side of London.

In addition to visiting the locations, he shared his enormous historical knowledge with us, providing many insights into the Victorian era. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: We booked the Shoreditch Street Art tour with London With a Local. We had a fabulous time with our tour guide Nathan. He told us all about the difference between street art and graffiti, showed us beautiful art and told us all the background info about the art and the artists. At the end of the tour he showed us the gallery of the broccoli man and we were able to meet the artist himself. Nathan is a very friendly and enthousiastic guy and it was a pleasure to do a tour with him. I would strongly advise if you come to London to take this tour and book it with London With a Local.

I loved how he focused on the life stories of the different women, rather than Jack. He handled this part of London history very respectfully.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time on a few walking tours with London with a Local. - Harry Potter (with Ben) - Queer history (with Marcus) - Westminster (with Jamie) Each tour guide was engaging and welcoming, with a wealth of knowledge on their focus. Groups were kept relatively small (10 or so) keeping it intimate and open to personal stories. It was a brilliant way to explore the city and gain some insight to its history.

Fantastic experience: I simply loved this tour of the street art in Shoreditch. The best one of all (my opinion). Our guide, Rob, is so knowledgeable and engaging. I learned so much and was captivated by the beauty of the artists work. A must do in London!

Fantastic experience: We were in the tour of Harry Potter in London, with Ben. He was so funny and he tells us a lot of things that we didn't know. We saw a lot of places from the film and it was so nice, so if you like the films of Harry potter I really recommend you this tour.

If you are visiting London, I would highly recommend this tour to really appreciate Soho and find the places to visit. It’s a warren of history and winding streets so definitely need a guide to show the highlights!

Fantastic experience: Jamie is the man, I found him very informative he was also respectful of the women and knew the severity of the unfortunate circumstances in which these events happened… to capture my mind is a very hard thing to do, yet this gent had me hanging on every word!! Would give 6 stars if I could..I went on this tour thinking I knew the stories yet he still managed to teach me more, very thankful for Jamie and his work.

Fantastic experience: We spent two enjoyable and informative hours with James showing us the street art around the Shoreditch area. His knowledge of the art and the artists themselves was excellent. There was plenty of opportunity to ask questions. As I often find it difficult to hear others speak in busy places, James' ability to project his voice was an absolute godsend, meaning that wherever we stood in the group, we could hear every word. Brilliant. Thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed the Jack the Ripper tour. Our guide took us to locations that historical events once took place. With the information and story told, we saw the case from a brand new perspective. Don't be mistaken though, because it is still a tour for those who enjoy the blood and the gore!
