Fantastic experience: Excellent trip to Ladakh. Flew to Leh from smoggy Delhi and acclimatised before 6hr journey to Hanle where we saw wolves, fox, blue sheep and the elusive Pallas cat. Stayed in a local homestay with food prepared by our own chef. Thence to Rumbak in Helmis national park where we camped for 6 nights. Well looked after and fed excellently. Dearth of snow leopards didn’t detract from the beauty of the area (better for being out of season). Very well hosted by Becca and Chris and the local team. Not to be missed!

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a real adventure Wild Expeditions delivers. Travelling to Kyrgyzstan to track snow leopards, bears and wolves was an experience unlike any other. Becca and Chris, who lead the expedition, are experts, generous and kind, making you feel so at home and confident in their abilities. This is a proper expedition into the wild and although there is never a guarantee that you will see anything, with the help of the incredible Kyrgyz park rangers we saw and photographed snow leopards alongside a whole range of wildlife. Even had we not seen anything the adventure was continuously action packed and entertaining, off-roading in 4x4s, trekking through the mountains on horseback and spotting for wildlife in the breathtaking landscape. I felt such joy from experiencing the unspoiled beauty of the Sarychat nature reserve, and laughed every day with the group in the beautiful Kyrgyz communal yurt over delicious homemade Kyrgyz dishes prepared by the rangers. I will not soon forget Sarychat’s rugged beauty, nor the grace of a snow leopard in the wild. To Becca and Chris, Thanks you

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible adventure! Visiting Krygystan with Becca and Chris was beyond all expectations. The journey was a mixture of culture, photography, horse riding ( beginners all catered for) and wildlife in a beautiful, isolated region of Kyrgyzstan not usually open to visitors. Becca and Chris went out of their way to ensure that each guest was looked after and their interests were met. Seeing snow leopards was a bonus amongst many, many highlights. I really can’t recommend this trip enough.

Fantastic experience: Just back from one the most incredible travel experiences of my life, with a wonderful group of people. The wildlife and scenery were spectacular, and the Kyrgyz people so welcoming - I didn’t want to leave! Chris and Becca were exceptional, from coordinating everything to photography lessons, nothing was too much trouble. The rangers were lovely - so knowledgeable, and patient with those of us that hadn’t as much riding experience! They were also amazing at finding the wildlife hiding in plain sight on the mountains - we saw a number of snow leopards, Tian Shan brown bears, wolves, foxes, vultures, Ibex, argali and Marco Polo sheep, plus smaller birds and animals. I enjoyed myself so much I’m considering booking one of the other trips offered by Wild Expeditions - Becca and Chris make a great team and I’m sure their other trips will be as amazing as this one was!

Fantastic experience: I feel privileged to have shared this wonderful experience in Kyrgyzstan in 2024 with Chris, Becca, the local rangers and other guests - this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience within a pristine environment, surrounded by some of the most wonderful wildlife and scenery I have had the pleasure of witnessing. Chris and Becca coordinated the whole trip excellently in fine detail, to a far higher standard than many other larger organisations, from completing my booking pre-expedition all the way through to the end of the trip. Equipment provided was excellent and the local cuisine was fantastic throughout, all provided within the cost of the trip. They also provided great tuition in photography skills and horse-riding in the outback, both of which I was a novice in. I also wish to shout out the local rangers they work with; they are masters of their craft, as well as being very welcoming to tourists from a different culture. The trip was worth every penny; a wonderful mixture of adventure and wildlife spotting in such a unique environment, all done whilst minimising our impact to the environment. Thank you for the life time of memories!

Fantastic experience: I have been lucky enough to travel extensively but my recent trip to Kyrgystan with Wild Expeditions was beyond spectacular. This was an incredible adventure into such a remote pristine place. The scenery was beyond dramatic and the wildlife sightings breathtaking. Chris and Becca manage to successfully mix professionalism with fun, these are experts in their field. The local guides were exceptional. I feel priviledged to have been on this expedition.

Fantastic experience: I've never been one to post public reviews, but wow, what an experience! We were a small, low impact group in such a remote, beautiful landscape. Becca and Chris were great; happy to answer any questions or concerns prior to travel, well organised and knowledgeable of the area when we arrived and always keeping us entertained and safe. They clearly take pride in their work and good relationship with the locals and rangers in small village we were staged at before entering the national park, as we were very well accommodated and even invited to a small cultural display at the village school and the rangers taught us how to track the wildlife in the park. I'd absolutely recommend Wild Expeditions to anyone who wants to experience the true wild.

Fantastic experience: Sary-chat is an unspoilt wilderness in the Tian Shan mountains; I am so thankful to Becca and Chris for showing us this special place. It was wonderful to escape everyday life and see the unique biodiversity of one of the remotest places on earth. The expedition was truly excellent in all respects.

Fantastic experience: Updated* Went on the Snow Leopard Experience in Kyrgyzstan. Had an amazing time, Chris and Becca were wonderful and the local team were great. Beautiful area and would definately reccomend! Went on another trip with Wild expeditions to Ladakh, India to go pallas cat and snow leopard spotting, once again had an amazing time and Becca and Chris worked with a fantastic local team. If you want an adventure this is definately the place to look

Fantastic experience: An amazing and surreal experience. Horse riding through the mountains and crossing rivers, a wall of rock and ice all around us. The area is so remote, it's more than likely the furthest into true wilderness I've ever been. The mountains seem empty and unforgiving, but there's life everywhere, once you get your eye in of course. Chris, Becca and WE team will certainly help with that. I'll never forget the feeling of knowing I've more than likely been watched by a Snow Leopard, and shared the same paths and valleys. A big thank you to the WE team for an unforgettable time. 10/10 'would recommend'

Fantastic experience: Wild Expeditions gave me the most incredible, once in a life time experience. It’s hard to put into words how much I enjoyed my time in the mountains - ten days of tracking, hiking, spotting, horse riding and wild camping was unlike anything I have ever experienced before.. highly recommended to anyone looking for an adventure!
