Travel Counsellors Eastbourne - Charlotte Duffy

Fantastic experience: I've known Charlotte's family for many, many years but I didn't know that she worked in the Travel & Tourism industry. A while ago, my boss was talking about her experience in booking a holiday and how amazing the travel counsellor was - and she mentioned her name and then it dawned on me she was taking about the same Charlotte Duffy that I knew!!! A few months after this conversation my wife and I were thinking about doing a 'big holiday' We'd never travelled far before and Covid had robbed us of the opportunity to travel when we both turned 60 and so, as this was our 40th wedding anniversary, we toyed with the idea of a huge adventure and decided on Canada but had no idea where to start! I then remembered Charlotte and decided to get in contact with her. I messaged her through Facebook and said we had a rough idea of going to Canada but had no idea of where to go, how much it would cost, how to get there, etc - in fact we were completely clueless about everything. She was away on holiday and said she would look into it when she got back. She didn't - she got back to me the following day (!) with a few ideas and asking a few questions about what we wanted to do, to see, to stay, etc. A couple of days later she had produced a full itinerary. Flights, hotels, car hire - everything! We'd had no idea about a budget but she gave us a rough idea of the costings prior to producing the itineray and she fitted the holiday right into our limit. So within a week of contacting her, we had the holiday of a lifetime booked. She insisted that no question was too stupid to ask and that she would be there to answer anything at all. She stayed true to her word and made everything so easy and stress free - and yes, I did ask a lot of 'stupid' questions. We were due to visit Jasper during the trip- but sadly the town was ravaged by wildfires and the whole town was closed - so sad for all those affected! I contacted Charlotte, whilst we were a couple of days away from Jasper and she changed the destination and booked a different hotel in a different to accommodate us and ensure we had somewhere to stay - she even managed to find a hotel offering a free breakfast!! This was all sorted within a few hours with no fuss, no panic and very much a "Leave it with me, and I'll sort it" attitude. Charlotte is incredibly knowledgeable about her job and goes the 'extra mile' to ensure that her clients are given the best possible service all with a personal touch (my boss can also testify to this!). Twice she sent cards to us, with personal messages - real cards, in envelopes, through the door - lovely! Would I recommend her? What do you think....? She's a consummate professional with a personal touch and the ability to make one feel that they are the most important people travelling! 100% recommendation. People I know have all heard about Charlotte and I will continue to sing her praises to all and sundry. Thank you, Charlotte, for everything. You're a star. Now, where shall we go next? Dunno - but we'll be contacting you when we decide!

Fantastic experience: We have just got back from a wonderful break in Dubai. Charlotte took care of everything from start to finish and this included excellent communication and customer service throughout. She even sorted our return seats and boarding passes due to the time difference. Our experience with Charlotte has been fantastic and we will be using her again for our next trip. Fantastic experience: I have just returned from Ruka in Finland (Lapland) with my family after Charlotte Duffy's assistance in creating the perfect packaged holiday. End to end Charlotte was so supportive - even checking in on several occasions with excitement prior to the trip. Trying to arrange a trip to lapland is like going down a rabbit hole - it's so hard to know what to do - so thankful we had Charlotte arrange this for us - and every second of the trip was just perfectly arranged. Fantastic experience: We recently travelled to the Maldives for what in the end was a fabulous holiday. We had some issues regarding my partner's health which left us very unlikely to be able to take this holiday. Charlotte was truly amazing. She managed to get the resort to hold the booking until tests could be done and she was in constant contact with us regarding flights and even helping us with insurance. Charlotte went well above what you would expect from a travel consultant which we were truly grateful for. Fantastic experience: We booked our honeymoon with Charlotte having come highly recommended to us. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble during the booking stages, we found our ideal package & she sent us all the information we needed. Then close to our departure we got a useful reminder, Charlotte was seemingly always contactable with any questions and we just had the most fantastic honeymoon!! Fantastic experience: Charlotte advised and guided us through our trip to Australia, staying at Singapore en route and Dubai on the way home. We changed our minds several times on who to fly with and where to stay, Charlotte kept preparing our quotes never minding how many changes we did, advising us why it would be good to stay in a certain area and booking a Desert Safari in Dubai. Our hotel in Singapore The Park Royal Collection, Marina Bay was so lovely. The rooms were very clean, the service good - would chose one of this collection again. Thank you Charlotte for guiding us through this it made our holiday so much easier to enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Our honeymoon was booked, through Charlotte, as a surprise by my in-laws and we had the most amazing time! We spent the first couple of days in Pompeii where our hotel was less than 100 yards away from the archeological site as well as our room having a gorgeous view of Mount Vesuvius! We then spent the the rest of our honeymoon in Venice, which again Charlotte had chosen a lovely hotel for us, which over looked the Grand Canal! Will definitely recommend as service was great and Charlotte was happy to help the whole way through if anything arose.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing service! My parents booked our honeymoon through Charlotte and it was absolutely fabulous we went to Pompeii first and the hotel she found was less than 100 yards away from the entrance to the archeological site and our room had a fantastic view of Mt. Vesuvius! Then we went to Venice another amazing hotel overlooking the grand canal and a Gondola tour with glassblowing all booked with Charlotte. The itinerary provided was fantastic and Charlotte was on hand throughout the week even getting in touch with our transfers when our flights where delayed. An absolutely brilliant experience would highly recommend any holiday be booked through Charlotte ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Charlotte highly enough... she not only found me the perfect holiday but she helped me out every step of the way, making it not only a fantastic holiday but guiding me through travelling alone post Covid & all the challenges! Charlotte was quick to respond with all my questions (which was a lot!) day or night, checked me in where needed, sent boarding passes & kept me updated on my travel plans! She kept in constant contact & sorted every query... when I was faced with a last night minute cancellation of my flight, within minutes she had me booked on an alternative flight & sorted out all the paperwork, relieving me of all the stress! Fantastic experience: I cannot thank or praise Charlotte enough for her recent help. At very short notice, and to a very tight timescale, she was able to arrange the flights, transfers and accommodation I'd asked for. Charlotte was thoughtful, professional, patient, knowledgeable and very caring in what was an emotive situation. She also provided the information I needed to make informed and quick decisions and kept making things happen until everything was in place. Charlotte also regularly checked with me while I was travelling to make sure everything was going to plan, which it did perfectly. Going 'over and above' doesn't even begin to cover it. From the first time I met Charlotte I knew I'd be in safe hands should I ever need to travel in the future. Fantastic experience: My husband and I love using Charlotte to book our holidays. She makes the whole process so efficient and always strives for the best price. Charlotte knows our likes and dislikes and so she will only ever show us holidays which fit our criteria (and we can be quite fussy!).
