We saw and learnt things we would never have had the chance to discover with other tradionnals tours. Я не большой любитель экскурсий, но то, что делает Savio, не экскурсия даже, а почти что иммерсивный спектакль с веселым интерактивом, крутым саундтреком и вау-спецэффектами - с той лишь разницей, что в спектакле есть сценарий, а здесь просто реальная жизнь, с настоящими людьми и историями. Не буду спойлерить все сюрпризы - а их много, но в итоге у вас остается ощущение, что вы не просто познакомились с этим районом, а что вы с ним подружились и стали здесь почти своим :)) Продумано все - маршрут, музыка, место для сбора и финальная точка, и это не готовый стандартный набор, Savio всякий раз адаптирует происходящее под то, что интересно и нужно именно вам. Он показывает Лондон таким, какой тот есть, каким его знают только его жители, он знает и по-настоящему любит места, по которым водит, и он действительно местный - с ним то и дело кто-нибудь здоровается, а это не подделаешь ) В общем, я много видела разных гидов за время своих приключений (а их было мноооого, я - профессиональный тревел-журналист), но этот парень - совершенно исключительный. I’m not a big fan of guided excursions - and that's not an excursion, but a kind of immersive performance with interactive actions, cool soundtrack and special effects (not from the script, but from the real life). I won’t spoil all surprises - there are a lot! - but in fact you'll feel yourselves not just get to know this area, but like you became almost local :)) Everything is thought out - the route, the music, the place for meeting and the final spot, and this is not a ready-made standard set, Savio allways adapts tour personally for you and your interests. He shows London as it is, he knows and truly loves the neibourhoods he leads to, and he is really local - someone greets him every time, this cannot be faked )) In general, I saw a lot of different tour guides during my travels (I'm a travel journalist), but this guy is exceptional. Fantastic experience: We visited Notting Hill for the first time and booked the experience with Savio to learn more about the neighbourhood. From the first moment he captured our interest with his charming and friendly personality, his knowledge and his enthusiasm. You can feel his love for London, Notting Hill and his work. He took us through Notting Hill, surprising us with stories about its history, the people and of course the music. We visited little shops, saw beautiful street art and heard wonderful stories about Notting Hill. We could have never found all those things out by our selves. Fantastic experience: I booked my first tour with Unexpected London in Brixton and it turned out to be a great one and really unexpected. I love every part of the experience: from exploring local community to beautiful park walk. I also love the part of talking and greeting with local people all the time though the experience. Fantastic experience: I have been to London many times, but this was my first time in Brixton and thanks to Savio I realize I've been experiencing London the wrong way up to now. If you have any interest in music, street art, or history don't hesitate to book this experience. Savio has deep knowledge of the area, and he seemingly knew everyone in the markets and stores we visited. He purposely keeps the group size small so that it feels more like a walk with friends than a "tour," which I appreciated very much. A great value for a time well spent.

Fantastic experience: I was fortunate enough to join Savio on 3 of his Unexpected Tours of London: Notting Hill, Shoreditch, and London at Christmas. Unlike my first London Experience (driving around getting only glimpses and a photo of the key sites), his tours had depth and meaning because they included stories told with passion and humor. Fantastic experience: Savio made our trip to London memorable! Without him, we would wonder the streets of Nothing Hill, passing the most important sites of the area, without even knowing it! Through his knowledge of the history, film, music and street art, we discovered all the beauty of the area, not to mention the perfect music he played during the tour, making the experience even more enjoyable! Fantastic experience: Superb Tour Savio's genuine curiosity and passion was truly palpable and it was contagious. He introduced himself as a knowledgeable friend, as opposed to a guide which felt like an enormous relief. The brilliantly original details, profound knowledge and diverse range of things that we looked at and the route itself all felt very organic. We didn't feel the 'stress' or bustle of the city at all. I genuinely left feeling like my eyes had been opened, that I was seeing things anew and I felt exhilarated and inspired.

Fantastic experience: This was a birthday treat for my mum - who is in her mid-70s with an interest in Banksy. She was skeptical as 3 hours of walking isn’t her idea of fun. We both had an amazing afternoon along with the other 3 guests. Savio made it so interesting and unlike any tours I’ve done before. He plays great music from his backpack, knew so many people on the tour and brought us to places we’d never have been able to find or access. He showed us amazing art on walls, doors and windows, great shops, fed us gourmet chocolate and made all of us feel like we were hanging out with a clued in friend. Our only regret is that we don’t have time to do another tour before we leave. If you are wondering whether this is a worthwhile tour it is and will exceed your expectations. Fantastic experience: I hasd the pleasure of going on 2 tours with Savio from Unexpected London in September. I did both the Canary Wharf and the Secrets of London. Both truly unique showing a completely new side of London I was unaware of. Highly recommended thanks to Savio's extensive explanations which clearly denote a continuous research ranging form history to art, personal experience and the future of London. To be done again in the future as I'm sure I wouldn't be hearing the same things twice.

Fantastic experience: It was more than great, I liked every second of it. Was different from everything I’ve done before, it truly is an experience. I hope many people get the chance to meet Savio, he was very friendly and cared about everything so I can get the most out the whole experience. I learnt a lot from Notting Hill, Bob Marley, the riots in 1958 and 1976. About so many stores that I wouldn’t know if it wasn’t for Savio. I learnt a lot, and yes, you visit the usual landmarks in there, but you get quite more than that. We talked and walked for more than 2.5 hours, was quite more but I didn’t care because everything was so interesting. Thanks Savio.

Fantastic experience: We met Savio yesterday for our trip around the city and quickly realized how fortunate we were to be walking the streets with him! He showed us so many places, little jewels that we would never have found on our own, introducing us to the city in a way that was personal, fun, informative and music filled. Our teens loved it, even asking us to book another day with him :) I honestly felt sorry for the people we passed in mass style tours as we were ducking into only locally known coffee shops and art filled alleys. Fantastic experience: Before turning 30, I decided to try out 30 things I have never done before. Like many Londoners, I felt there are areas in my own city of London that I’m still to discover. As my roots are from Africa! The Brixton Experience naturally grabbed my attention. I’m completely blown away, thoroughly impressed at how it was an immersive experience that is far away from ‘traditional guided tours’. You are warmly invited into the very core of this society, so you truly understand it! It’s really clever how its led by Savio (a talented, creative, energetic warm Italian, who is deeply passionate and knowledgeable about London) in a way that touches all of ‘ones senses’, from viewing the Brixton currency, street art, chocolate Museum, hearing about the Brixton history, its relation to music (with an awesome vinyl shop visit), smelling the sensational seasoned aromas of the Afro-Caribbean market food, to having a feel of native fashion fabrics. The play list of music booming out of his speakers is wonderfully thought out, tailored to the history of every stop off point. I found this shone light, adding another dimension and dynamic to the experience. lt has been years since I last visited Brixton so it was great to have Savio, how is like a friend to show you around so learn about things you never would have known . It was impressive to see how well Savio knows the locals, he introduces you to some of them and they share their stories with you, this touched me and took my understanding and appreciation of the area to a whole new level. Also, you get great content after the day as a sort of memorabilia of Brixton and the experience, from photos to music and videos. I highly recommend this!

Fantastic experience: Savio is a really interesting , warm and friendly guy and he conducted the experience with a lot of passion. He not only knows the area like the back of his hand but also seemed to know a lot about the people, character and way of life in the borough. He is also knowledgeable about the all the street artists and maintains wonderful relationships with many of the store owners and artists around the area. If you're looking for a non-touristic experience then go for Savio without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Savio is quite a sweetheart. You will love his eagerness and enthusiasm. He knows Brixton very well, and so many people personally. He showed us 6 of its markets and its iconic buildings and art, interspersing it with Brixton's history. His obsession with music and street art seeps majorly into his walk, and he seems to know everything there is to know about the music which has taken birth here as well the stories of the musicians who have stayed here and been inspired by the place. It was utterly fascinating. And it was fun to walk around with someone who played music with a speaker inside his rucksack!! Then later, he sent an email with links to photographs, articles and music playlists all related to the walk. It was really wonderful. Hightly recommended.

Fantastic experience: We started with a disappointment as Savio never arrived in a tuxedo as per his profile picture :D but he soon made up for that Savio’s tour was an unexpected delight. It included visits to hidden gems of the area, and local places like the exceptional chocolate and ice cream shop, the best bookstore in London, the biggest vintage market we’ve ever experienced, a massive music store with live music and one of London’s original baigel shops. Fantastic experience: MUST DO EXPERIENCE! Savio was one of the highlights of my trip to London!!! He took me through the secret parts of the Shoreditch neighborhood and had in-depth knowledge of the street art and music that originated there. Fantastic experience: I did the tour of Shoreditch with Savio and my 10 year old daughter. Savio reached out to me immediately upon booking the experience. He asked great questions to get to know our interests. He really paid attention and remembered everything I shared with him. Fantastic experience: This tour was absolutely fantastic, and Savio is a world-class host. It was much more than just looking at street art - Savio knew so much about the architecture, history and culture of the area, and willingly shared his knowledge the whole time. Fantastic experience: I had a such a great time exploring, Brixton first and Shoreditch then, with Savio and his Unexpected London. I've been living in London for 5 years and, whether a traveller or a Londoner, I strongly recommend these tours if you are willing to get to know London from a different perspective. This is definitely not a regular tour, but a truly immersive and interactive experience where you will discover many insights and hidden secrets about the area you are exploring/living. Fantastic experience: Savio shows a lot of passion for what he does in this experience. I wish I had done it earlier in my trip, because that’s what exactly what I was looking for when I’ve booked the Unexpected London Street Art Tour in Brick Lane and Shoreditch. He shows a lot of knowlegde of arts and artists, takes you to incredible places/hidden gems and the art is amazing. It is literally an open art gallery. Be prepared to walk, but when you finish it, I’m sure you’ll be very happy with the outcome!

But Unexpected London provides something you can’t pick up in a guide book or even from the most well intentioned tour guide - a lens of a city through the eyes of someone that truly adores it and has cultivated rich connections with the locals who make it so special. The Brixton I looked upon walking out of the station is in stark contrast to the one I’d end up leaving. Fantastic experience: This experience was really an experience, not just a walking tour. And it was about more than street art and music. Savio knows his way around, a lot of people in the area and he showed us (hidden) places that you wouldn’t have found on your own. He knew a lot about the history of Shoreditch and the community and culture. What I really loved was the music part where he played some songs and we got to know the background story, wether the music video was shot in a certain street or house or that a singer was born there. What made this tour special was also that it was really personal. I was feeling like I was talking to a friend sharing bits and pieces of our lives, about art we saw elsewhere or music we experienced. I was feeling very welcomed. Fantastic experience: I have been living in London for over 6 years and experienced many tours before but nothing like Unexpected London because this is not just a tour but a truly immersive experience within culture, history, music ad food of the local community you'll be exploring; Brixton in our case. It's dynamic, fun, interactive, easygoing and very informative and Savio will make you live the area as a local and not just visit it. As Savio says and introduces himself and his Unexpected London: "This is not a Tour and I'm not a tour guide, I've never been and I'll never be..." indeed it will be an experience and he will be your unexpected kwnoledgeable friend showing you around and I can assure his knowledge and passion are second to none and his knwoledge about London is unbelievable. You can tell that there is a lot of work behind the scenes to make this dream come through! One of the other things we really liked was exclusivity and the customization of the experience because Unexpected London runs experiences with very small groups of maximum 6 people, far away from the traditional/big/crowded/boring and anonymous tours. Savio is so enthousiastic about what he does and he showed us the best of Brixton and Shoreditch in a such unique way that you have to come and join! Fantastic experience: Picture this, you’ve never been to London (yeah, sadly it’s true) and you start planning your trip but you make it a point not to do a classic London tour, you want to experience something different, something unique... you start doing your researches and you stumble upon Unexpected London and you know you’ve found something different. You are not a tourist anymore, you’ve become a traveller or better yet a Londoner. And then you have Savio, with his energy and curiosity you truly feel the passion and love that he has for London, you get to see little gems that you wouldn’t have found otherwise and you get to interact with the locals... It’s like you’re visiting a friend that wants you to know the city through his eyes, the city he has fallen in love with and wants you to fall in love with it as well. I ended up doing 3 experiences with Unexpected London and Savio in my discovery of London (Shoreditch, Brixton, Notting Hill - personally Brixton has been my favorite but I may be biased). The attention in the details is what set this experience apart from the others, whether it’s the music accompanying the experience or the story behind this building or that street art. I think that I wouldn’t have found the little gems that I’m taking home if it wasn’t for this experience and the advices I’ve received throughout my trip in London. Everybody should do an experience with Savio, they’ll soon discover that there’s so much more to London than what is known... So, thank you from the bottom of my heart Savio. I may have saw the known London but I’ve also discovered the unknown part... its true heart!

Fantastic experience: I went on the Canary Wharf and Greenwich tour with Savio and Elisabetta on Sunday 7 July and I cannot stop thinking about it! Savio loves what he does and is able to guide you through unexpected parts of London with warmth and creativity telling you and showing you those aspects of this city that you simply cannot find in books. Why? Because what Savio shows you comes from speaking with people, exploring with curiosity, fulfilling his personal interests and believing in what he does. What do you get as a tourist? The possibility of truly experiencing what you see and being surprised by it. I have been to London at least 50 times in my life and in my mind it was ‘an un-liveable place full of tourist attractions and linked to the past’. After seeing the new financial heart of the City together with Europe’s biggest City Farm, I now feel attracted by London again! Thanks ‘Unexpected London’ for this wonderful surprise!!!

Fantastic experience: In my recent trip to London, I first booked the Brixton music and street art experience. I enjoyed it so much that I went on to book two more tours (Shoreditch and Canary Wharf) from Unexpected London! All three tours are different and have their own charms. I love the dynamics of Brixton, the unexpected gems of Shoreditch and the walk from Greenwich to Canary Wharf was refreshing! I highly recommend these experiences and will definitely come back for more in the future!

Fantastic experience: "Shoreditch street art and music tour" Dimenticatevi i classici tour turistici organizzati in grandi gruppi e pieni di noiose nozioni. Savio offre molto di più: un'esperienza immersiva a 360° nel cuore di questo affascinante quartiere, che è ha molto altro da offrire oltre alla bellissima street art. Oltre alle opere degli artisti, infatti finirete in negozietti, mercatini e botteghe caratteristiche ad assaggiare le diverse specialità del posto, il tutto accompagnato dai suoi aneddoti, racconti e cenni storici e da un po' di buona musica in sottofondo legata ai luoghi che si stanno visitando! Quando racconta le storie legate a questi posti/persone si percepisce chiaramente l'emozione e la passione che legano Savio a questa città, è riuscito a coinvolgermi e farmi sentire parte di questo mondo, non una semplice turista. Super consigliato a chi vuole davvero vivere (e non semplicemente visitare) la città!

Fantastic experience: Abbiamo vissuto due splendide esperienze con la nostra bimba di 8 anni che ha seguito tutto con interesse e partecipazione anche grazie alla sapiente presenza di Savio che ha saputo regalare momenti di vera magia al nostro tour. Tutto è perfettamente personalizzato sulle esigenze dei partecipanti e non si ha mai la sensazione di fare qualcosa di "seriale". Abbiamo fatto due tour un giorno dopo l'altro, visto luoghi e scoperto posti sinora mai visti - nonostante sia stato varie volte a Londra - sono state esperienze che poteremo sempre con noi. Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Savio. He is one of the best guide I have ever known: I didn't feel like a tourist in any moment, he managed to show us hidden parts of the city that we wouldn't have known and his love for London is so contagious!After the tour my friend and I went back to the places we had been with him and it was a wonderful feeling.

Fantastic experience: Spending the day with Savio was more like visiting an old friend than being given a tour. He was exciting and gave me a fun energetic walk through the history of Brixton's music and cultural atmosphere complete with a soundtrack and his love of the area. You could see the passion that he felt for the community by the interactions with the people as well as the love. He passed all that love, knowledge and excitement to the group. The tour was full of energy and I loved the informality of the pace and interactions. I thought of both Savio and Elisabetta as old friends that I haven't heard from in a while as my interactions with them were extremely comfortable and light. I would highly recommend this experience and plan on using them again when I return to London.

Fantastic experience: Sono arrivata a Londra con l’unico obiettivo di andare alla scoperta della città cercando di evitare le strade conosciute ed i classici giri turistici da cartolina di cui, tornata a casa, ricordi poco a nulla. Forse è proprio grazie a questo “stato d’animo” e ad un provvidenziale articolo su Repubblica che ho scoperto Unexpected London e Savio, che mi ha guidato alla scoperta di Schoredicht e Brixton condividendo non solo le strade ma anche la musica che ha reso grande questa città al pari, se non di più a parer mio, della City, Buckingham Palace, il Big Ben e tutto ciò che rappresentano per noi continentali. Ma Savio fa molto di più durante i suoi tour, ti aiuta a vedere la bellezza di ogni angolo, ti invita a soffermarti sui particolari, ti trasmette la curiosità e la voglia di scoprire che lo guidano in questo lavoro che svolge con passione. Ed è un attimo, e nemmeno te ne accorgi, che non sei più un turista ma un viaggiatore.

Fantastic experience: Un modo originale e alternativo di vivere e di esplorare Londra..il tour mi ha stupito e mi ha permesso di conoscere la città da un altro punto di vista. Gli organizzatori sono molto simpatici e ci hanno fatto sentire non semplici turisti, ma persone del luogo. Per questo viaggio a Londra cercavo un’esperienza diversa che non fosse il solito tour noioso e affollato. Con ‘Unexpected Lonodon’ ho trovato molto di più di quello che cercavo. È stato tutto oltre le aspettative..un mix di cultura, musica, arte, natura e benessere in un’esperienza intima, immersiva ed interattiva. Un'ottima occasione anche per socializzare con persone di diverse nazionalità e culture. Lo consiglio altamente per persone di tutte le età!

Fantastic experience: I recently went on one of the guided walks in Brixton with my family. While I live in London, this was an area that I did not know well but had heard a lot about. What a brilliant experience we had. The tour was great - informative, insightful and fun. I know that if we had gone to the area to explore ourselves we would have missed so much. Savio has great insight and has really done his research. Elizabetta was on our tour also so we could see the excitement and passion they are both putting in to make sure everyone has a great experience. I would really recommend this experience to both Londoners and visitors alike - get to see parts of London that are less well known but are the real vibe of the city. Fantastic experience: I joined the Brixton Tour and soon after booked myself into the Brick Lane and Shoreditch Tour as the two areas have so much in common and Savio makes you live them in such a unique and fun way. I learnt so much about street art and music. Loved the Afro-Caribbean vibe and nature in Brixton as well as all the history and culture of Shoreditch. What I loved is how Savio made us access places that I would never have entered myself: from secret gardens, to beautiful hotels, to churches to chocolate shops! And by the end of the tours I had walked a lot without realizing and really started thinking about the way I walk. This combination of sightseeing and wellbeing is really unique and can’t wait to do another tour next time I am back in London.

Fantastic experience: Finalmente un tour diverso dai soliti! Savio (super energetica-loquace-simpatica-informata guida) mi ha fatto scoprire Wimbledon e I suoi angoli nascosti. E la splendida giornata e' sicuramente stata un gradevole extra. 2 ore abbondanti di power walking su diversi terreni, accompagnate da colonna sonora, informazioni e curiosita' locali. Esperienza offerta in inglese e italiano. Non vedo l'ora di fare anche gli altri tours!

Ich hab die Shoreditch Tour mitgemacht und unzählige Artisten und unbekannte Ecken entdeckt. Ich freue mich schon auf die nächsten Touren !!!

Fantastic experience: Non è da tutti avere idee del genere e sarebbe bello vedere qualcosa di questo tipo realizzata anche in Italia. Savio ed Elisabetta hanno "inventato" un nuovo modo di visitare una tra le capitali più famose e belle del mondo. I quartieri di Londra scoperti attraverso il benessere, la musica, la cultura e la curiosità di due ragazzi che ce la mettono tutta per dare il meglio. Noi abbiamo visitato i quartieri di Shoreditch ed Isle of Dogs alla ricerca di Graffiti, Negozietti alternativi di ogni genere e Mercati locali, nel primo caso, di Natura, Storia e Panorami mozzafiato nel secondo. É stamo impressionante in entrambe i tour come in un attimo ci siamo ritrovati dal lato finanziario(nuovo) della cittá circondati dai grattacieli piú alti d'Europa ad essere immersi nell'arte di strada, nella storia e nella natura. Savio alla fine del tour ci ha inviato una mail con le foto e le musiche dei tour così che potessimo rivivere quando volevamo il viaggio fatto con lui. UNEXPECTED LONDON é un'esperienza eccezionale e da provare assolutamente. La consiglio sia per chi va a Londra per la prima volta che per quelli che ci sono giá stati e "pensano" di conoscerla. Fantastic experience: I was looking for an alternative way to see London and this has definitely been a memorable experience. I did the Brixton Tour which turned out to be a truly unexpected surprise. Savio is extremely knowledgable and there is a great combination of Caribbean vibes with street art, music and nature. It seemed as if every artist I loved was somehow connected to this area, from David Bowie, to the Clash, Bob Marley and many more. Plus I learnt an incredible effective walking technique that has changed the way I walk everyday. Loved it!

Fantastic experience: Unexpected & Amazing Experience! Although I have been to London several times, Savio allowed me to discover the wonderful BRIXTON area in a unique and unexpected way! We learnt how to turn sightseeing into an effective workout thanks to a specific active walking technique suitable for everyone that works on your posture & coordination. So in a small group we power walked (as Savio says) and discovered the biggest London's Afro-Caribbean Community with its beautiful Park, Street Art & Multicultural Markets and all to the rhythm of the music that has made this area one of the world’s most important music hubs in the world (from David Bowie to Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac and many more...) This is absolutely not a traditional wordy and boring tour but it's Interactive, Fun & Funky Experience that made us live London as Locals and not as Tourists. I wish I was there longer to discover the other hidden beauties of this city but I'll get back soon. I strongly recommend it for both Locals and Tourists!
