Fantastic experience: Just returned from my fourth trip with Wendy’s Wanderers … this time to amazing Japan. As usual we were escorted by Wendy who organised everything for us …. the journey to & from the airport, checking in at the airport, things for us to do in our spare time etc. I love travelling with Wendy’s Wanderers & I’ve already got another 5 trips booked! Thank you Wendy!

Fantastic experience: We Booked New York and Washington with Wendy and Jane This was different to our other two trips as this was for our sons wedding at the City Hall in New York. The booking procedure was as smooth as usual and a 5 star experience which we are coming to expect. We flew to Newark Liberty and sorted an Uber out to the Kixby Hotel in New York. The food choice was outstanding but the prices were high and just be aware of the tipping and large group prices as that only hits you after if you have never been before. We used the Big Bus and that was a good choice. New York was a superb experience and we walked across the whole city visiting as many places as possible. Due to the shutdown the Museums were shut and a few other public buildings. However lots of free stuff to do with the high line a great find. We then flew to Washington and the Viceroy was in a superb location with lots of restaurants and shops in the area. We were only 1 mile away from the White House and the central area. We again used the Big Bus and it was a great decision taking us all over Washington. We visited all the usual places and George Town which again was great. Thanks Again Wendy and Jane

Fantastic experience: A holiday with Wendy’s Wanderers is always a fabulous experience. This trip to Japan, my 3rd with the Wanderers, was no exception. Although we were part of a larger group with Riviera travel, Wendy was always aware of where her ladies were, what our needs were and making sure everyone had an enjoyable experience. The trip included many interesting visits throughout areas of Kyoto, Mishima and Tokyo. On a personal note, I love how everyone comes together at some point each day but can have time to themselves to pursue personal interests. Thank you Wendy !!!!

Fantastic experience: I've just returned from Japan with Wendy's Wanderers on a Riviera Travel tour. We went to lots of interesting places, stayed in nice hotels and had many laughs along the way. It was a long journey and we relied on Wendy to skilfully get us to our destination. We spent quality time together and we all made the most of the different culture. I would highly rrcommend this trip and being able to do it with a group of like-minded ladies made it extra special.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant trip to Japan with Wendy and her Wanderers. Cultural visits to temples , Buddhas , fantastic kimono display . Varied scenery through mountains , the coast , manicured garden and parks , wonderful views of Mount Fuji. Travel by plane, coach and bullet train. City scapes never to be forgotten . Food from 7/11 to great restaurants trying many new foods . Loads of fun and memories made with a great bunch of ladies. Thanks x

Fantastic experience: We’ve just come back from another fantastic holiday organised by Wendy & the Team. Our trip to Singapore and Thailand was put together by Wendy and Kuoni.and it surpassed all of our expectations.. We loved Singapore with the highlight being a stay at Marina Bay Sands with a view of the Gardens at the Bay. The beautiful beaches of Thailand were a brilliant way to relax with the highlight being Paradee on the island of Koh Samet This holiday ran flawlessly from start to finish and we’re already looking forward to planning next years trip

Fantastic experience: Wendy did it again. We visited Turkey for the very first time and Wendy recommended the Blu Luxury Unique Hotel in Oludeniz. It was amazing, beautiful breakfast, lovely staff, very clean and an oasis of calm from the madness of the main Oludeniz strip. We were there during the 40+ heatwave which did limit any activities as it was too hot. I did have 2 massages and also took part in an Air Dry Clay session which I really enjoyed. The hotel is small, only 54 rooms which meant we always got a sunbed and it was really quiet. If you like more entertainment etc then maybe this is not the hotel for you. We loved it and would definitely go there again. Thank you Wendy for this little gem.

Fantastic experience: Just back from an amazing holiday in Croatia (Mlini) booked by Wendy as part of her Wendy’s Wanderers group. Everything from travel to the airport, flights, transfers, hotel accommodation and days out while we were there was booked by Wendy. Fantastic experience: A trip to Croatia with Wendy’s Wanderers. What a beautiful location chosen by Wendy, which shows her knowledge and experience of our beautiful planet. Had the best time with like minded ladies who had never met before but who were soon good friends. All this due to Wendy’s friendly hospitality, making sure no one was alone unless they wanted to be. The tours were all arranged and escorted by Wendy allowing our group of ladies the chance to just relax and explore. Couldn’t recommend Wendy’s Wanderers enough. If you’re a solo traveller then this is the place to come. I’ve already another 3 trips booked!!!

Fantastic experience: Croatia 25 Stunning scenery, crystal clear waters blue sky and fabulous hotel. Great fun with the ladies. Superb organisation. Well done Wendy.

Fantastic experience: Haines travel was recommended by a friend who has high standards so I was confident that they would be good. We were not disappointed. Advice and suggestions for resort and accommodation was excellent. Everything was done promptly with advice if needed at every stage. Email reminders were extremely helpful. Friendly and so knowledgeable we cannot fault this travel company. Would definitely use them again. Our holiday in Pefkos Rhodes Hotel Palm Beach (Bed and breakfast) was lovely as was the weather. The hotel has been completely renovated and we had a studio room which had a very useful kitchen area, a lovely shower room with walk in shower and a large sleeping area with a balcony. Bed was so comfy. We looked out onto a bit of a building site and a slight Seaview but there was never any noise except during normal working hours when we were not in our room. Across the road was a roof top pool and a lower pool which overlooked the beach. Parts still not completely finished but didn't affect us. Breakfast is a la carte and perhaps a criticism is that you can only have one item off the breakfast menu ie English breakfast or an omelette etc. Any fruit or yoghurt or toast is extra this we felt was a bit mean. However the food is to a good standard. We did have to send some food back as it was cold and was advised that they want to know of any problems so they rectify problems. They were training new staff. I had a bit of a problem with Gluten Free food as there was a lack of understanding but it got better as the week went on. 10 minute walk into the centre, lovely restaurants and ice cream parlour. For Coeliacs the three Pigs in Pefkos have a fantastic gluten free menu, service and food brilliant. Really good entertainment on teo nights. The Jersey Tones were fantastic. All in all a great weeks holiday. Carol & Paul Kirk

Fantastic experience: A much looked forward to Douro River Cruise with my sister. Planning and booking was made simple. Information that was required by Riviera and Jet 2 was taken care of by the friendly staff members. Just 9 days before we were due to travel, my sister needed an emergency operation. Wendy, Clare and in particular Jane were very helpful in sorting out a change of name to allow my husband to go on the Cruise. Getting the boarding cards amended, caused a stressful delay. However I must commend Jane, who went above and beyond to ensure it got sorted. Hubby and I had a wonderful time. Thank you Wendy Haines Travel.

Wendy had everything organised even meeting up before our trip to get to know each other. Transport and travel all sorted but even better Wendy was with us to make the trip a memorable one. Positive experience: I joined Wendy for the first time on the Murder Mystery weekend at Lea Hall, the perfect venue. I was warmly welcomed by Wendy - the hostess with the mostest!!everything was organised to the very last detail. The group of ladies were lovely. Lots of fun and laughter (and food). A weekend to remember!!

Fantastic experience: Wendy really is a fantastic host. She arranged a weekend in Derbyshire for a groups of ladies, some known to each other and some not. We were all made to feel very welcome and lots of activities arranged which we could join in with. A Murder Mystery dinner on the Saturday evening was very good fun and Wendy was an excellent Sherlock! Highly recommend her services.

Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing four days at Lea Hall, with Wendy. Wendy is the perfect host. I enjoyed every minute of it. The murder mystery was great fun. The food was in abundance, and the chefs meals were lovely. Everything was carefully thought through, and all of our needs were catered for. I highly recommend this trip.

Fantastic experience: I'd highly recommend Wendy Haines and her team to arrange your holidays! No hassle, easy, her expertise and knowledge made the whole experience amazing. We initially contacted Wendy as it was my wifes 50th birthday and we wanted to do something a bit special. We wondered what a cruise would be like but had no previous experience so looked for an independent travel agents. Wendy was recommended by a number of people so i booked an appointment and we had a conversation. We wanted to visit New Orleans and go on a cruise so Wendy said "leave it to me" and all was sorted in days! A 7 day caribbean cruise, a few days in New Orleans, flights, etc. Even when my wife fell ill and we had to postpone, Wendy was available for advice and the holiday was re-arranged for a later date no issues. A fantastic experience, we would definitely recommend Wendy, and we will probably be dropping round her cabin for advice in the future. Thanks to Wendy & her amazing team!

Fantastic experience: My first trip as a Wendy's Wanderer, I could not fault the service & organisation of everything from beginning to end. I went on Riviera Travel's Paris & Seine Discovery River Cruise. The MS Jane Austen is a lovely ship providing comfortable accommodation with plentiful & delicious food & drink. The itinerary was varied but the trip would have benefitted from being 1-2 days longer. I would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from yet another amazing holiday that Wendy organised as part of her wanderer group, Marrakesh never failed to amaze, this G adventures trip including trekking in the Sahara desert, camping under the stars, sitting on a sand dune to watch the sunset was highlights of the holiday at the start, challenging at times but well worth the aches and pains. Staying in a Riad in Marrakesh, with the enjoyable chaos of the market, hunting for our treasure to take home. Totally recommend this holiday it was truly memorable and rewarding

Fantastic experience: Lovely little break for the theatre, hotel was in a fab location, on all transport systems, although we walked to the west end the breakfast in the hotel was really nice and plentiful, ranging from cereals to a full English, the show was amazing, all in all a great weekend

Fantastic experience: Having returned from a week long holiday in Malta staying at the Seaview hotel , St Paul’s bay we can fully recommend this hotel for service , food , amenities, cleanliness, location and friendly professional staff . A room with a sea view is a must and if you are lucky as we were you may get to see a pod of dolphins swimming in the bay .A good recommendation again provided by Wendy .

Positive experience: Wendy saw us at her base and we booked our trip in an hour, Wendy did it all including transfers. On reflection we should have perhaps gone away and consideeed options before just booking but that was our choice. Both Wendy and Jane (admin support) were on hand to support my email questions before our trip to Paris with swift responses always. Our trip didnt go as smoothly as planned but that was the providors and not Wendy. It's great to have support and advice on hand if you have questions or worries about your trip,. This was our first trip since 2018 abroad so i was a bit out of practice so it was reassuring to have Wendy and team support us booking and planning. Great team.

Fantastic experience: I joined Wendy on my first trip with her Wanderers group to Malta. I was nervous when I signed up as I hadnt met any of the other ladies. By the time I set off for the airport I had been for 2 meals and a coffee morning with them and Wendy had arranged transport from home to the airport so we all travelled together. We had a wonderful time, packed full of beautiful scenery and experiences. Wendy was with us all the time and made arrangements for any transport needed. Some of us went to a Craft Village on one of our free days and she even organised the taxi there and back for us. I have already booked another holiday with Wendys Wanderers and wouldnt hesitate to recommend her. I have never had such a personal service from any other travel company. Thankyou Wendy.

Fantastic experience: We started using Wendy's Travel in 2021 and haven't looked back. Wendy has a wealth of knowledge, experience and other travel contacts which she uses to get you the best possible experience. We have just returned from a 2 centre holiday to Rome and Florence. Wendy sorted it all - helping to relay any worries we had re transfers, train travel etc. We would not have had the confidence to organise this ourselves and so would have missed out on a great holiday experience. If your thinking about a holiday - Wendy is your person - what she doesn't know is not worth talking about. Wendy provides great customer service. - without the need to sit on the Internet or in a call queue for hours. She listens and comes up with some great ideas. We highly recommend to all that will listen to us :)

Fantastic experience: Wendy organised a short notice holiday for 4x seniors with the vague request for sun, sea and cocktails, it was done with style and detail. All inclusive week in Nessebar Bulgaria with excellent weather. Flights, transfers, hotel and communications were five star. Our North American friends were suitably impressed with everything and we all had a marvelous time. Again, thank you Wendy and your Team.

Fantastic experience: I had a telephone meeting with Wendy and asked for the following - not a really long flight -short transfer time -swim up room -sunbed on my balcony - adult only Wendy came back to me really quickly with 4 different hotels that all met my requirements. I spent some time choosing and tweaked a couple of bits then asked Wendy to book it. It was all booked and she arranged seats on the plane and priority boarding for us. Birmingham airport was a breeze with lots of helpful people and support and it was the same on the plane. We arrived and had a private transfer to the hotel where they rushed out to take our bags. The flight to Rhodes was about 4 hours and transfer was just 15 minutes to the Ixian Grand. The hotel was amazing, very professional. Our rooms although different were next to each other and my swim up room did not disappoint with 2 sun loungers, table and 2 chairs. It was adult only and the age range was from 20 upwards. The food was very good and we mainly ate in the al la carte restaurant. Wendy had certainly delivered above and beyond what I requested and I wont hesitate to book with her again Sue Westwood

Fantastic experience: Hi Wendy, well what a wonderful cruise you organised for us, everything was perfect, the Staff, food, Wow! attention to detail was second to none, would thoroughly Recommend yourself, Wendy, and Fred Olsen cruises, thank you for your help, made the whole experience really easy. Only downside, we didn’t realise the Tyne Tunnel was online payment, so are now awaiting our fine. Hopefully will be coming to see you again.

Fantastic experience: I have just returned from a wonderful holiday experience to Tuscany with Wendy’s Wanderers. A group of solo women. We have had a great holiday, our base was a lovely hotel in Montecatini Terme - Hotel Torretta, visited Florence, Lucca & Pisa all escorted by Wendy herself, what more personalisation could you ask for. Excellent value for money, great food, lovely wine, great trips via the train & great company & all topped with a visit to the Montecatini Opera Festival which was awesome. If you are a single woman who wants some company or lost confidence in travelling I would highly recommend Wendy’s Wanderers. I’m in no doubt you’d get your ‘mojo’ back.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from our first cruise for my husband's 60th birthday. We were a bit nervous as only flown couple times within a group holiday. We needn't have worried as Wendy sorted everything for us, talked through the process and paperwork we needed. Unlike high street travel agents where you probably don't deal with same person twice with Wendy you get that personal service as it's Wendy you deal with for everything. Fantastic experience: Wendy booked a surprise trip for my son and his friends to the Oktoberfest in Munich. Everything was arranged for them by Wendy and it all went without a hitch. Wendy was fantastic in listening to what I thought they would like to do and she arranged it all, even last minute changes by the boys!! Fantastic experience: Wendy is an absolute expert in her field - such a caring and knowledgable guide to the perfect holiday. She knows and checks personally her destinations, takes care of her clients in such an attentive way too - which I've witnessed. She will save you the trouble of trawling the internet for maybe "bargains" which you might not even be able to trust... why bother, when Wendy already has the expertise and experience to check you in for your dream trip!

Fantastic experience: Finally managed to have a fabulous holiday in Kefalonia which was booked precovid! Didn't have to do anything except pack! Told Wendy where we wanted to go and she was brilliant from start to finish of holiday, she booked everything,if I had a query I was able to contact her straight away for an answer. we were checked in online ,she kept us updated with info and also checked we were all ok whilst there. Fantastic experience: I have just had the most amazing holiday in Austria organised by Wendy. She goes above and beyond to make sure your trip is everything you expect it to be and more. Austria in the summer is fabulous for everyone including families as loads for the kids to do.
