Fantastic experience: Nice place to stop while on the road. My dad and I are both Carmichaels and wanted to see the Carmichael estate. The staff were very friendly and helpful in showing us around the place. You can buy Carmichael related tartans and trinkets, and the bistro there has some delicious food. There was a wax museum as well, though it's nothing big. There's a small play area for kids as well. Worth a stop of any of those things!

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent place to stop for lunch. Friendly and helpful staff, good food, clean toilets. Also, a most interesting and informative waxwork museum featuring aspects of Scottish history. The neat little farm shop has all manner of tasty treats! And all this surrounded by the beautiful open views of the South Lanarkshire hills!
