Greenline Coach Holidays

Negative experience: Booked for the first time for a Barry island day trip but wasn’t told until after paying that the pick up time was later than we expected compared to other companies and it would only be 4 and a half hours (possibly less depending on how long to do all pick ups) at Barry island itself and at least 3 hour travel there and back (not including pick up and drops on there) I explained to them the amount of time travelling is huge compared to the actual time spent at Barry island itself and asked for a refund as if the pick up and drop off times were disclosed upon booking I wouldn’t have gone through with the booking especially having chronic pain and conditions meaning I wouldn’t get anything at all done in such limited time at Barry island. Although I’d only paid a deposit due to explaining to green line I’m in remission and this is a huge expense to me, greenline are refusing to refund the deposit so that me and my children can go somewhere where we have a chance of actually spending a day there. They’ve been less than helpful, responsive and couldn’t care less when I’ve communicated with them. They know about my health issues and yet are refusing to refund my money despite them being the ones withholding important information about times upon booking! They are also deleting all negative comments off their Facebook from other customers who are also complaining about extremely limited time spent at day trip destinations which is extremely misleading to customers looking to book who only see positive comments. This company do not care about the customer, they delete anything negative and completely mislead upon booking about the pick up and drop off times leaving you locked into a day trip of next to no time at the destination and then refuse to refund you when you bring to attention that it’s not worth the time and money! I’d advise looking for other companies who offer day trips!

Fantastic experience: We went on our first trip with Greenline coaches to Morecambe for Xmas Staying at the Auckland Hotel We had a very good time and the food was excellent and our bedroom Our driver Nigel and Lynn looked after us Really well and it was an experience listening to Nigel.bingo calling We will definitely be going on more holidays this year Once again thanks for a fabulous time

Fantastic experience: Just back from a great Christmas holiday at Howden Court Hotel, Torqauy. A BIG THANK YOU to Paul and Julie for looking after us and making the trip so enjoyable, they kept us occupied and amused throughout the journey and our stay. Best Christmas ever.

Positive experience: Just got back from Cromer and Thursford, the service we received was no where near their usual high standard. The coach wasn't decorated, the basket of sweets at the front of the coach wasn't there, the driver wore no festive costume, they didn't sell bottles of water, pop or crisps. There was little interaction between the driver and the customers, the driver didn't come round the dining room on the first night to ask if customers were satisfied with their accommodation and made it plain that he was only there to drive customers from A to B. There was absolutely no festive atmosphere, it was nothing like it used to be. What a shame.

Fantastic experience: Greenline Coaches took our WI ladies to Buxton for our annual Christmas Day out. They were brilliant. The coach driver Geoff was so good. The driving conditions were awful but he was calm throughout and brilliant driving through very poor conditions. He got the coach as close as possible to where we wanted to be in Buxton and stood in the pouring rain helping our Ladies negotiate the steps and was more than willing accommodated our change of return, brilliant service.

Fantastic experience: Just come back from alvaston hall and we had a lovely time as usual with Greenline . Met new and old friends and our driver Roger went above and beyond to make our time extra special, nothing was to much trouble. Looking forward to our next one x

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a fantastic fabulous holiday to Belfast in Northern Ireland with Paul and Dave. This was a holiday that was over and above what the brochure said. and we have seen and experienced so much more than we had expected with giggles all the way. We have met old and made new friends on his trip, so If you’re planning a holiday this is the company to go with they are excellent, and great value. Fantastic experience: Hi. We went to Dunoon last week with Greenline. Just wanted to pass on what an absolutely wonderful week we had with Paul and Dave at the helm. Also was great to be introduced to Angus and Douglas. Nothing was too much trouble they went over and beyond to make sure everyone and everything was okay. The Shelbourne Hotel was great, very comfortable and warm. Food was excellent. It's the first time we have booked with Greenline. It was recommended to us and we shall now be recommending to others. Fantastic experience: We just got back from Isle of Wight 7 days at The Shanklin hotel Celebrating our Wedding Anniversary . Dave our driver kept us all entertained from the minute we set off on our journey. The hotel was lovely & clean, the staff were very helpful, nothing was to much trouble for them & the food was good, as was the entertainment. We felt we were being well looked after, by Dave the driver and the hotel staff, who both made it extra special for our Anniversay. Positive experience: Enjoyed the mystery seaside meal trip, 11/07/2024 minus the meal. The drivers were wonderful , the coaches were great, it was enthralling and entertaining. My only criticism was the food after a long trip it was disappointing. It was a fish and chips dinner but the fish looked like it was a standard frozen one peas a little hard and chips were small. I expected a proper seaside fish like light beer battered ,fresh, curled and crispy instead of short thick battered horrible tasting fish. The crumble and custard had no taste. Otherwise it was great experience for the first time.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from Isle of Wight. Celebrating wedding Anniversary and Birthday. The holiday was great. Green line coaches and staff you can't beat on price, hotels, the drivers interact with the family on the coach where ever you go on the holidays or trips. They are the happiest bunch of people. Fantastic experience: Just returned with my Partner from a 5 Day trip to the Isle of Wight.We were picked up promptly from our Home and taken to meet the Coach, which was absolutely spotless inside and out.Our driver Dave was friendly, helpful, nothing was to much trouble and he was very professional.Our Hotel was excellent with friendly helpful staff.Our room was comfortable and the food was very nice.On arrival back in Stourbridge we were dropped home in the Minibus.Greenline are a first class company and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Positive experience: Snowdonia tour- we were informed in advance that the llanberis pass was closed due to a race that day. We still got to see someone spectacular scenary, the new coach was lovely but can't help wondering why the research isn't done first regarding dates and races etc, or some money given back or atleast a drink on the coach by way of apology that we didnt get to do one of the features of the trip. There were two stops in 2 villages but theres no time to do anything there. It would be really helpful to tell us to do shops or lunch first and THEN go to the pier/seaside. It was a sunday and all the shops shut at 4. We arrived around 3pm and went straight to seaside, wish we had done it other way round

Positive experience: I went on a trip,with greenline.to weymouth. the hotel we stopped in was called the prince regent.the rooms was nice.the staff nice.exspecilly Stephanie on reception.she was very helped.the hotel food.was not very nice at all.it was sit down service.the hotel was lovely and warm through out..our driver Paul was 1st class.really funnyman kept us all safe and entertained.our trips was okay.clark village not really my cup of tea.this outing was on our way home.very expensive shops.all name brand shops.just wanted to say a big massive thank you to green line.ive already booked my next time.see you all soon.

Fantastic experience: We have just come back from Barrowfield hotel in Newquay. Not a very good hotel wouldn't Go there again. The best part of the holiday was the coach with driver Paul and his wife Julie it was a laugh a minute nothing too much trouble for either of them.This is our second holiday with you and will certainly be going with you again but not too a Daishs hotel. Fantastic experience: Went to Torquay last week our driver was Roger. This was our first time with Greenline but definitely won't be the last, in fact my wife is trying to book another trip as we speak. Driver was brilliant, so friendly and helpful, coach spotless and comfy. People on coach friendly and happy, which undoubtedly has a lot to do with our above comments about driver.

It takes all the hassle out of holidaying from door to door & you feel like royalty. Great having holidays for adults only. Cannot recommend this company enough. We would like to say how good our driver Pete was very friendly and helpful. It’s the second time I have been with Greenline and both holidays have been great. I spoke to friend who had travelled with you before the first and he told me that once you have been with with Greenline you won’t want to go with anyone else and I agree (now booked up for October and can’t wait!). The hotel that was included with the coach (Clarence house hotel) was such a splendid hotel, we got a room with a balcony and such a good sea view and the beds were so comfy, the room service was also very good and I can't explain how good tasting the food was. And I could not wish for a more smooth funny driver than dave he had a way to make all of us smile and laugh and he lifted the mood a lot telling us tales about him and his wife and joking about with us and his driving was so good and smooth we never felt any speed bumps and felt safe . Fantastic experience: We took a party of 48 to Dunoon in March 2023. It was our first time using Greenline coaches but it most certainly won’t be the last. From our initial enquiries through the booking process to the holiday itself was seamless and stress free. Andy and the team were always happy to answer any questions and any special requests made by passengers were met where possible. The coach arrived at each pick up point on time, the coach was clean and comfortable, and the drivers Paul and Dave were efficient, helpful and courteous. We had a minor medical emergency en route and the coach stopped in a lay by, the drivers assessed the situation and rang the local emergency services for help and advice. The whole episode was handled calmly and professionally with no adverse effect on the other passengers. The hotel was well situated, clean and comfortable, meals were well presented and plentiful and the drivers were funny and entertaining without being intrusive. I have no hesitation in recommending Greenline in the highest possible way and look forward to our visit with them to the Isle of Wight in 2024. Well done, Greenline!!

Fantastic experience: I pride myself on being able to very quickly understand the guiding principles of a company and having enjoyed a 4 day break over the new year with Greenline it is obvious they pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service. I hope the owner Andy understands what a valuable asset he has with the calibre of the people he has employed working for him. On our trip we had our driver Dave and his wife Tammy who were exceptional, they were incredibly focused on making sure every single person was informed, entertained and part of the whole holiday experience. They were caring over and above what was expected of them and it is obvious to see why people return again and again to travel with Greenline when such a family atmosphere is created by these two hard working professional individuals. It was our privilege to enjoy this New Years break with them.

Fantastic experience: On 2nd December my sister and I went on your Thursford trip staying in the Hotel de Paris and had a wonderful time! This was mainly due to your coach drivers Paul and David who were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. On the 4th December it was my sister Glenda's birthday. Paul and David organised a cake and flowers for her and she was thrilled. They got everyone to sing happy birthday to her several times which really made her day. They really are a credit to your company. Thank you Paul and David!

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a lovely trip at Seabank Hotel Porthcawl our driver Roger and his Co pilot Melanie were brilliant making sure everyone was looked after making drinks bringing sweets around during the trip . The excursions were well planned and most enjoyable as was our stay at the hotel where the food was excellent the staff were great yes the hotel is currently undertaking a bit of a face-lift but you will not get better value for money as it did not detract from our stay and would certainly go back again many thanks to Roger and Melanie for making our trip a great one Many thanks Mark and Jacky

Fantastic experience: We were met by our driver Dave, he was dressed as Elvis even down to his blue suede shoes. Paul the driver of the other coach dressed as Elvis in red. After pick ups we went to the Punch Bowl at Bridgenorth for our Elvis afternoon with Mark Summers both the drivers were attentive and so full of fun even joining Mark in his act. Fantastic experience: Thanks to greenline coaches driver Roger for looking after us all from the start of the holiday right to the end, I recently lost my husband we never went anywhere without each other so being my first time on my own was scary, but with friends from widowe's group and Roger making me feel at ease I had a mixed emotion nice time! once again thank you greenline coaches driver Roger and friend Barbara Everett and Clifton park hotel my daughter has already booked my next holiday with greenline coaches. ....kind regards pip Perri

Fantastic experience: Travelled on a day trip to Blackpool on the 30th July 2022. Our driver Rog was absolutely amazing, from his driving all the way through to his attention to the children onboard. He made it a fun atmosphere by playing children's music and getting them to sing along. Made our experience amazing and will definitely be using you again for more day trips and future holidays.
