Fantastic experience: We've always preferred booking our Tui holidays talking to an advisor in a branch rather than their app or website so as our local Dorchester store closed after Covid we visited the Weymouth branch. Sam patiently searched our suggested destination and dates for suitable packages and found what we hope will be an ideal location that she price-matched to the on-line price. Full marks.

As there are a large number of us, Dayla had her work cut out, pleasing everyone, with country & location & suitable flights. She provided several options for us to look at & helped us with details of the areas & hotels & facilities provided. Fantastic experience: Being a bit of a novice at package holidays I was very pleased with the service I received from Laura and Sam at Weymouth Tui office. Laura gave me some ideas to think about and time to get my head round the process. When I returned to the office I saw Sam who was very helpful. She personally knew the hotels on my short list so made making a final choice easy. She was very patient, giving details of the area and suggesting activities. Negative experience: We went on holiday to the island of Porto Santo in October. We booked a 2 week holiday through Tui. The holiday was marred by an incident when a member of a beach handball team broke into our room in the middle of the night. He had entered thre room through the sliding door onto the terrace -It transpired that the lock was faulty. I woke up and informed the individual that this wasn't his room and escorted him out onto the terrace. We went back to bed but in the morning we woke up to discover this individual had been sick over all of our possessions. We Informed Tui straight away. They told us that they would clean all of our items and compensate us with a voucher for £250. I replied to the Tui rep that this didn't seem to be sufficient as this was a severe inconvenience. The children had been scared and we would have to replace the googles and hats straight away as the children wanted to go swimming and the sun is hot every day. The Tui rep replied to say that as a goodwill gesture they would pay for us to go out for a meal. I agreed to this as we could turn the experience into a positive one.  We went out the following day to the resturant of Resturante O Calhetas and had a lovely meal. The laundry came back later than promised and when it arrived all of the items were damaged. It looked as if they had passed them through a dish washer. The hats were damaged beyond repair, the silicon on the googles had been ruined and the toys had degraded. I wanted to give the TUI rep the receipt for our meal and express my disappoinment at the standard of the cleaning but unfrotunately they were not in the resort for 2 days . This meant i had to see them on the day of our departure which was quite stressful as we had a small window of opportunity before our coach left the resort. I showed the Tui rep the damaged items and the receipt for the meal we had, we agreed that the total for the damaged and replacement items was £120 and the meal was £130. She agreed that Tui would recompense us £250 plus the voucher. She told us to communicate through the Tui Ap. We did this as soon as we returned from holiday. The chat bot on the Ap told us they were investigating the incident and would get back to us. This continued on the Ap for 2 weeks before the Ap announced that this conversation was now ended and to call direct.  I contacted Tui through their website and they informed me that I would need to fill out a form which I did.  After another month Tui finally responded to state that they have awarded us just the voucher for £250. I'm extremely disappointed that the promises that Tui assured us about the compensation have not being followed through. We wouldn't have gone for a dinner costing £130 as we were staying in an all inclusive resort if we hadn't been promised this by the Tui rep. All of our items had been damaged and we had to buy new googles and hats for the children as we were staying in a sunny resort. The Tui reps on the surface were very accommodating but in this case they have not given us what they had promised. I’m not sure if this was a communication issue or if the senior managers won’t back their staff promises. There were only 2 reps at the hotel so it should be a relatively simple matter to investigate. Tui knew that that the beach volleyball completion was taking place during our stay, The beach volleyball teams were between the ages of 16 and mid 20’s so putting safeguards in place to ensure that families wouldn’t be inconvenienced by the sports teams would seem a sensible option. The only security that was provided was a disinterested individual who sat on a chair by the swimming poll looking at his phone. This was obvioulsy not enough to prevent these problems occurring. We went on holiday from the 2nd October till the 16th October and this issue still isn’t resolved to our satisfaction . I would tread very carefully with Tui as they don’t put in adequetate safeguards for families and certainly won’t deliver on what they promise.

Fantastic experience: We had booked to go to Parga in July, but wanted to do a trip other than a blue caves trip. Spoke with Nicky at the Weymouth shop who recommended the TUI trip to Meteora monasteries. Went with her advice and wow so glad we did, we were not disappointed. Fabulous day out, we were looked after for the whole trip, even visited a gorgeous mountain village on the way back. The TUI guide was very knowledgeable. The monasteries are unbelievable and definitely worth a visit.
