Fantastic experience: We were undecided about what holiday we wanted to book to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We sat with Emma for a long while looking at various Alaskan cruises only to find the airfare prohibitive. She looked through airfares for us after we left but it still was too high. Not to be defeated, Emma suggest that we leave her with a few destinations that we might like and she would sort out a short list. Bingo! The next day she sent an email with several very inviting selections out of which we picked a trip to four cities in Morocco for seven days. Luckily, Emma also asked if we might like to extend the stay with a few nights in a hotel, which really suited what we wanted for such a momentious anniversary. She worked so hard to see to it that we had a holiday that we could afford but would still be very special for us. It took a few hours of checking various places and flights but we got there in the end due to Emma's perseverance. We just want to thank the staff of Grimsby TUI and Emma in particular for the many times that they have worked with us so that our holidays have been memorable for all the right reasons. We always feel in safe hands at Grimsby TUI and that faith was rewarded by the sterling effort that Emma put into finding a dream holiday for us.

Fantastic experience: I just want to give a massive, huge, ginormous, big, humongous shout out to Simone. She has been amazing, and let me say extremely patient, when it has come to helping me and my husband planning our next holiday. Together we have been around the world trying to find the perfect getaway and she never lost interest. It is because of this customer service that we have always and will continue to use TUI Grimsby when would booking a holiday. Thank you so so much Simone we can’t wait to go on our cruise.

Negative experience: Sat in silence. We went in an hour before closing time and the first lady we spoke to, while very pleasant was busy and said that because she finished soon she would get another member of staff to help us. We were seated with another member of staff that clearly did not want to help us and would have been better going home early for the day. We gave her our budget and 3-4 places (balerics, Spain, turkey, corfu) that we would like to go to and that we were open to suggestions on board basis. She asked what airports we would want to fly from and we gave a number of options, then she proceeded to search on the TUI site those areas and organized the results using the filters in the same way that you can do on your own phone or computer at home. The options were not within our budget range, but rather than making suggestions, she sat in silence with the screen pointing at us, just scrolling through. We were at a little bit of a loss for words as our previous experiences with travel agents have been that they generally will help to suggest other options and offer advice but in this case we felt as though we weren't offered anything that we couldn't have done ourselves! Left with a bad impression and felt like we had wasted our time

Fantastic experience: It's always a pleasure booking a holiday with Emma at our local TUI branch in Grimsby. We've been dealing with Emma for 17th years now, whether it's booking a week in the sun or something a little more adventurous to a far off place the level of service is always 1st class. Emma is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, has excellent customer skills and is a real asset to TUI. We always feel welcome when we call in this branch. Keep up the good work.

Mexico, New York and recently Florida for longer haul destinations as well as shorter hauls like Turkey, Greece and Spain. The store has a great team of friendly staff who are at hand to make the process as seamless as possible. Special mention to Jenna who has booked all of my holidays, always goes that extra mile to ensure we have the best holiday experience.

Fantastic experience: Our family holiday this year almost fell through due to an issue with the hotel, after much help from Jenna she managed to not only put us at ease but arrange an amazing trip for us to Greece. Fantastic experience: I have booked two holidays through the Tui store in Grimsby. One to Cape Verde and the other to Mexico with the guidance of Jenna, one the staff members who listened to our requirements and came up with some great solutions. Our flight from Cape Verde was cancelled due to a bird strike. I sent receipts to Tui Grimsby for extra costs incurred and received a refund a week or so later. I was very impressed at Jenna's speed of service in sorting this out.

Fantastic experience: We booked our holiday for next year with Sarah at the TUI Grimsby store recently. We always travel with TUI as we have confidence in the brand. We knew roughly what we wanted and where we wanted to go but we hadn't quite found the hotel we were looking for. Sarah made some great recommendations based on our previous holidays with TUI and we ending up booking one of these. She listened to our requirements and made some great recommendations. She was very knowledgeable and found us a great deal. Can't wait for our holiday now and would definitely recommend TUi Grimsby for anyone booking a holiday. Fantastic experience: We booked our first cruise through tui Grimsby, well..... firstly we had the best holiday ever , but it was also due to the staff at tui in Grimsby, especially Billie....due to me being disabled and needing wheelchair access , absolutely nothing was too much trouble....they helped from the parking , ensured everything could be accessible, including off shore trips. Will definitely be using tui for our next holiday! ...thank you...it was a blast!

Fantastic experience: Booked my recent holiday to Crete with Jenna at the Grimsby store. Despite issues around the hotel we originally booked Jenna quickly found us an alternative that proved ideal for our family group. She readily explored numerous options and ensured the particular requirements of our group were comfortably met e.g. swimming pools and kids clubs as well as proximity for parents of an historic old town. Well done and keep up the good work !!

Negative experience: I do not recommend. I was flying from Doncaster to Tenerife during the pandemic. I'm having trouble filling out the form. I went to them for help because the flight was the next day. First question am I vaccinated? No I am not. You're not flying. I explained that I am not from the UK but the women kept saying no vaccination you are not flying, you have to cancel. It's better to read the rules and not to mislead people. Of course I flew and had a great holiday. The point was that if you are of a different nationality and your country belongs to the European Union, you can fly from the UK without the Covid vaccine.

Fantastic experience: *Edit* Spoken with Clare the store manager regarding review below. This is how customer service should be, Clare was friendly, understanding and also caring of her staff member which was nice to hear and shows the family atmosphere that is TUI. We agreed upon ways forward and it was overall a pleasant phonecall which has led me to feel alot more positive and showed what was missing in store today. Clare finished by speaking with my wife and my wife said she also feels more positive. This is the 5* service and family feel we have been used to for the past 17 years. Thank you Clare for taking the time to speak with me and resolving the issues. So for the 5* service we received on the phone I will gladly change my review to 5* as that is what was received. Usually booking or getting a quote for a holiday is stress free, enjoyable and not pressurised. Well today that changed. My wife and I went into store in Grimsby today and waited for someone to become free. That person was Jo, she sat us down and from the off it wasn't the usual friendly meet and response we get. Then upon sitting down we were bombarded with questions and one of her questions were what do you like to do? So my wife said about our daughter loving the pools and slides etc but it wasn't a priority this time and Jo came across as though she couldn't care less, just saying "ok" then she kept pressing the what do you like doing and what price range etc we had. Now normally we do but when we haven't in the past it has never been an issue and whoever we have dealt with has suggested things or we have just gone with it. Today I had to walk out due to being constantly pressured into giving an answer for price range. This is the worst customer service I have received there. Jo didn't seem like she wanted to be there and we or I clearly got the backlash. My wife is still in store, I can't go back in as I thought holidays were meant to be a fun thing to book or look at and that was taken away from me very early on, not the 5 star service we normally get and what has brought us back time and time again

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic customer service this weekend from both Simone and Sarah in helping me secure a dream come true cruise for my family to help celebrate our upcoming 30th Wedding Anniversary. With various needs to take into account, they were so patient and done all they could to ensure our booking could be made. You often wonder whether you’ll get that phone call back when you leave your details but they did not disappoint, in fact it took a couple of lengthy phone calls back to sort everything out but was so worth their time and efforts. Thank you both so much, you’re a great asset to the Grimsby TUI store.

We wanted a week away in June hadn’t got specific preferences apart from flying from Humberside . Amelia went above and beyond and had soon got us spoilt for choice with some superb locations and deals . She spent a lot of time with us we didn’t feel rushed in our decision . My husband is disabled and nothing was too much trouble. Positive experience: To be honest I lost faith in tui but the girls in the shop were really helpful and I'm hoping my refund is now going to be sorted.we can not blame the poor staff for covid 19 but hopefully tui have learnt alot from this because I sure have since this virus.and I'm sure alot of people have I'm Still alive and worked through lockdown as a nhs worker I value life and just happy the ones that remain safe continue to do so.so let's hope that we can all remain patient just for a little longer.
