Fantastic experience: We have had many holidays over the past few years. Would highly recommend them. They are so helpful . Every holiday that we have been on were all booked to suit our needs. Even have more booked this year and next and cannot wait. Best travel agents around.

Fantastic experience: We haven't yet been on our holidays we have booked with Market Place (June/October next year), however I can't speak highly enough of how happy we have been and easy they have made it for us to book our family holidays. Our last holiday we had an awful experience, and have been very stressed about getting it wrong again, and telling Katie this and basically dumping our whole story on them with absolutely no plans, she gave us great advice and helped us with brilliant deals. Not only this, due to our bad experience last time (self booked through TUI, no agent involved) we had a situation where the hotel had been massively downgraded and reviews had bombed, so we have been checking and checking. We noticed bad reviews for the second of the holidays we have booked over the last month consistently landing on TripAdvisor, got in touch with the team through their website out of hours. First thing the next morning Mark called, completely took the stress of the situation on the call and invited us in to get sorted. Saturday we went in ( I did check with Mark as didn't want to be a nuisance on a busy day for their agents, and Mark again said absolutely not, come on down) and we were looked after so well. We have been able to find a stunning holiday, and more importantly, we are now confident enough we can look forward to it and our one in June. Thank you all at Market Place, can't wait for our holidays! Sorry for the essay!

Fantastic experience: The people who work at Market Place Travel can be legitimately called experts in their field. We were to have our first holiday since 2006 and so, when we arrived in store, we were greeted in a friendly way and offered to be seated with a fresh cup of coffee for each of us. We briefly gave a very short list of more or less, where we wanted to go, the dates and the airport we wished to fly from. Then the agent flicked through his computer and came up with everything that suited us. The hotel, location, the weather, were second to none and we were both living in sheer bliss for our one week holiday. My husband and I will be returning to Market Place travel, again, very soon and we have every confidence that you will find us a tailor made holiday again for next year. She managed to get the holiday £40 cheaper than it would have been if booked directly with the cruise company. Will definitely book through Market Place Travel again

Negative experience: My partner and I have booked loads of holidays abroad from here 3/4 per year but unfortunately recently there back up service has been very poor of late we have had to chase them for updates and information you try ringing and the response time is poor after leaving messages. They seem happy to take your money then forget all about you

Fantastic experience: I love everything about this company!!! Since thay have opened I have booked all my holidays with them. Each member of the team has exceptional customer service and nothing is too much trouble. They are always spot on with recommendations and listen to what you want from your holiday. As for sorting refunds out for holidays that have been cancelled due to covid, I have had 3 cancelled and each time was advised that it would take longer than normal, however this hasn't been a problem as I understood that staff were limited and the mammoth task they had was understandable!!! The people that have commented about it saying its bad service are wrong for saying that and obviously don't understand what it's been like for the travel industry!! I highly recommend this company and will never go anywhere else to book my holidays!!!

Negative experience: Today I have been extremely disappointed and saddened by the services offered in the store. When going to look at booking a holiday with my boyfriend we were made fun of for considering a holiday to Thailand for 7 nights and told it was a silly idea, however yesterday a 7 night trip to Thailand was being promoted on market place travels Facebook page! when asked for recommendations we were told to just choose something quick when we come in to book it and not given any guidance at all. We went in there 30 minutes before closing and felt like we were being kicked out before we even came in! I’ve always used market place travel as the place to go to book a holiday along with friends and family relying on their friendly, helpful service. I’m absolutely shocked at the way we were treated and how they took the excitement out of me and my boyfriend booking our first holiday together. We shall be looking elsewhere going forward and hopefully can find a fab holiday on our own!!
