Negative experience: Be very careful with this place they had me wire transfer over $13,000.00 for a villa rental in Mexico. Now I can’t talk to anyone . The website is out of service and the phone number I had is disconnected and when you call the office in UK they just hang up the phone on you. Be very very very careful. Don’t just wire them the funds ….

Negative experience: Own a box at stadium of light, people who are In that box are awful, arrogant snobs. Avoid Nicola park, should be ashamed of your staff etc. I'll be contacting the club regarding your behaviour

Fantastic experience: Booked with Seaside Travel many times and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Always has the personal touch, staff are all knowledgeable and will go over and above to ensure your holiday is perfect. On the odd occasion there has been an issue, it’s sorted with no mess and no mucking about. It’s so refreshing in this day and age of online everything to be able to visit a real shop, with real people who understand their customers and genuinely want to make it a memorable experience. Never any pressure, just a genuine vibe of what this modern, fast world had lost. The human touch. Full marks as always to Seaside Travel and I’ll look forward to many more visits and adventures.

Negative experience: Generally friendly travel agent that communicate very well. I feel they have been badly let down by Caledonian Travel who have yet to reimburse them with our money after we didn’t get the hotel we paid for. We are still waiting 5 weeks after the holiday break in London. We paid the money to Seaside Travel and therefore I would expect Seaside Travel to pay us the money rather than wait until they receive it from Caledonian Travel. I do know that in the engineering contracting field this practice is illegal.

Fantastic experience: Well organised, very helpful staff

Negative experience: I find it quite rude that I have both commented on posts they share on FB to enquire further and ask a general questions if kids needed to be vaccinated to go on a cruise. NO REPLY, POST DELETED, I also private messaged them and again NO REPLY. I would have taken 2 mins to reply to say yes or no. I'm not commenting for a debate about covid I'm more disappointed about the pure ignorance sadly. Thank you

Negative experience: Just wanted to share my experience on here. I was communicating with Nicola from this team via Facebook to get advice on honeymoon ideas. At first, she was really responsive and gave me some prices for a maybe 2-3 hotels. Seemed to be going well and I was really excited about honeymoon ideas. I started comparing prices that I was given with other online holiday agencies like TUI. I politely let her know that I found a better price else where (nearly £200pp cheaper and NHS discount with TUI) as I didn't want to waste her time and thanked her for her help during this time. I had a very defensive response and was blocked from ever messaging the company again. I think it was a very unprofessional response. I think a better way of responding would have been to say "sorry you found a better price else where, enjoy your honeymoon anyways and please consider us in the future". From the way she reponded because she was no longer getting my money was abit ridiculas and unprofessional. If your in a business where there is competitive prices this really shouldn't have been a surprise. Definitely wouldnt recommend buying through them and I guess I cannot ever in the future anyways as I'm blocked ✌

Negative experience: I have used independent travel agents for years and had great service from lovely staff. I am therefore very disappointed in the customer service I had received from this company waiting for a refund from a holiday thst was cancelled in early September. I apparently cannot have a refund until Olympic holidays who were the provider refund seaside easington. I have to ring them weekly for an update where I am told 'there's nothing we can do'. I have had 6 holidays cancelled this year from different companies and had no problem receiving refunds.

Fantastic experience: We book 3-4 holidays a year with Seaside Travel in Easington and the staff are all fantastic. They've arranged bespoke long-haul, normal package and other packages and I've not had any problems in the past 10 years. We had a holiday to Cyprus cancelled because of Covid, I was called and asked what we wanted which was a refund, they explained it may take a few weeks due to volume of traffic through the tour company, however, we had our money refunded within a couple of weeks. Fantastic service, great staff and always very competitive on price.

Negative experience: Friends recommended Seaside Travel. As we had two holidays to book for summer 2017 we decided to call into the Easington branch. After explain to the young girl what we were looking for a holiday in June 2017 in Kos and also one in menorca or majorca for September 2017. We were looking for 4 star adults only hotel we had flexible dates and a good budget for both trips. The first holiday we were shown was for a 3 star family holiday the girl did not appear to be interested maybe it was because we had called in at 4.00 and they closed at 5.00. We sat with her for approx 45 minutes. She took out number and said she would check it out and phone us back the following day. That was 5 days ago. We did not feel confident that she could help us and she proved us right. We did book the two holidays we wanted with another agent who matched our needs perfectly. Customer service on this instance was certainly lacking.
