Fantastic experience: Craythorne Courtyard Cafe, an amazing place. Just held a private event here on Sunday afternoon. Vanessa and her team were fantastic, so friendly and very helpful. They stayed late after closing so we could have our event and they were so obliging. Our afternoon tea was delicious and lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend the cafe, it's also dog friendly and if you are in need of a venue for an event, this is the place.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous farm shop with local produce available, freshly grown with a choice of rare breed pork. Snapped up some fresh bacon and a welcome breakfast sandwich on the Sunday morning. Friendly welcome from the owners with outdoor sitting area and when the sun is out a great sun trap to warm yourself. Dog friendly and a nice spot to stop for tea, coffee and of course cake.

Fantastic experience: We have been visiting here on many occasions over the years and I would give them 10 stars if I could. The people are the most welcoming I have ever known. The food is spot on… my husband says it’s the best cooked bacon he’s had. The meals are well presented, hot, tasty and always served with pleasant staff. Can I fault this place? Definitely not!! Fantastic experience: We love visiting craythorn farm for coffee and lunch on our dog walk down the Jinnie trail. Fantastic food and cakes, and even more importantly Vanessa and her team are superb! So friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend stopping by for food, coffee, cake and also a visit to the other little businesses on the courtyard.

Positive experience: Nice cafe, coffee very nice. I had a cheese n ham toastie with a lovely side of salad, my husband had a Cheese n Onion Sandwich and Cappacino. Very attentive staff and impressed that all tables are cleaned promptly when customers leave, will definately be back again soon to try one of your delicious looking cakes!

Fantastic experience: This Christmas, my wife suggested we bought local. Not just local shops with local staff, but real local businesses. The PR at Craythorne had me on the hook since we chatted in the pub. Last year, the same two guys dropped a box of vegetables around to our home and made the whole payment process so easy. Big box of vegetables again this year, but we dropped in to order, pick up and pay. Vanessa was up to her eyeballs with boxes and boxes of pre-orders, but was able to get us what we wanted. I cannot rate this local business highly enough. The same order from a main stream supermarket would have cost a lot more and have been nowhere near the quality.

Negative experience: Everything was closed at 2.30pm on a Saturday...

Fantastic experience: Great little stalls and a lovely cafe.

Negative experience: This place is *totally* unreliable. Twice now I have taken the trouble to cycle there at a time when they should be open (as per their advertised opening hours) and the place is either in the process of shutting or is already shut. On one occasion the woman told me they were shutting because they 'weren't very busy'. Well if you keep randomly shutting when you feel like it then you won't be very busy - word will spread and people won't bother coming!

Negative experience: Café was shut, there appears to be conflicting/inaccurate information on Facebook. I'm sure it is wonderful when open.

Negative experience: I visited Craythorne Farm and Courtyard for the first time with a friend a few days ago. It was an entirely disappointing experience. The fabric shop and cafe were both closed - this was not shown on the website as I checked the morning we went. The wool shop was open but you could only stand just inside the shop - the rest was blocked with screens and the patterns and wool brought to you. The farm "shop" is a farm hut with very little stock. Thankfully we had not made too long a journey to get there. There is no excuse for the website not to be kept up-to-date with closures, shop limitations etc. Very unsatisfactory.

Fantastic experience: Lovely cake and coffee with friends. Sat outside in the sunshine that's been absent for a couple of weeks now and enjoyed the table service. No booking was necessary. There's plenty of well spaced out seating for 2 or 4. NHS Covid 19 QR codes on each table to check in with. Nice to feel like the world was normal for a bit!

Fantastic experience: If you want the best pork pies and streaky bacon in the Midlands you need to go to Craythorne Farm. Fresh vegetable boxes available. Cannot wait to collect my Christmas veg box, which includes not one but TWO pork pies.
