Fantastic experience: Just returned from a weekend mystery tour just to say my mum and I had a brilliant time the hotel used the chesterson grange was lovely met some nice fellow travellers and your driver daniel was first class . Brill!

Negative experience: Absolutely awful driving. Almost just got crushed against the centre barrier by a coach that pulled out on us on the A14. Partner had to break heavily to get back avoid. Then got horn beeped at us as if we were the problem! Company can’t even be bothered to pick up the phone when ringing to report incident. Rude and ignorant. Putting their passengers and other road users are risk. I’m fuming.

Negative experience: Need to get new drivers, ones who know the highway code and don't threaten vulnerable road users.

Negative experience: Suggest you carry out some driver training re The Highway Code overtaking vulnerable road users. Derbyshire Police agree, the report has generated a warning letter. Applying the horn whilst behind cyclists, then overtaking us far too close when vehicles were in the oncoming lane is not acceptable. Highway Code Rule 163 - You should give vulnerable road users at least as much space as you would a car. As a guide: - Leave at least 1.5 metres (5 feet) when overtaking cyclists at speeds of up to 30 mph, more space when overtaking at higher speeds. - You must not overtake where you cannot do so safely, for example, when approaching bends, junctions, pedestrian crossings, or other hazards.

Negative experience: Threatened with assault by a driver at a school says I was parked in a bus bay- parked his bus to make a point in an unsafe manner to allow children to disembark. School informed and concerns acknowledged, Slacks disinterested and never called back to discuss

Fantastic experience: First time I've travelled with slacks ,only a day trip to gardener's world,the driver arrived on time and the bus is very comfortable,a very pleasant trip with a very pleasant driver well impressed.will use again .

Fantastic experience: Travelled to Thursford christmas spectacular yesterday, Mark was driving. Our 1st time with this company and we had the most wonderful time at the show. The coach was lovely and clean and comfortable. Will definitely use this company again.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time with this company and I couldn't be happier with the service. The feeder buses were punctual and the drivers friendly and helpful. The coach driver Mark was patient and considerate, going the extra mile to make sure everyone was looked after. The journeys to and from Devon were comfortable and relaxing and I felt very safe in his hands. I can't wait to see next year's brochure!!

Fantastic experience: Day trip to Southport Air Show. Lovely comfy coach. Friendly driver. Big plus is parking available at coach station.

Negative experience: Can’t believe in this day and age a company like Slacks won’t accept credit card payments and insist on debit cards!! Give me Andrews of Tideswell any time. Credit cards accepted. Cheaper for the same day trip. Concessions available and multiple convenient pick up locations. If Andrews do the same trip use them.

Fantastic experience: The driver Malcolm was excellent, the hotel was and town were nice (only downside not a lot of entertainment but flamenco dancers when on were great) but the excursions were absolutely fantastic. All the people with were friendly and very kind. Aside from Austria my best holiday.

Positive experience: We have just returned from trip to Bridgewater/Dunster etc and we had a great driver who took us to some really nice places. There was a lovely group of people on the coach and all in all we had a great few days away. There were issues relating to Ibis, Bridgewater and these will be addressed separately on their website.

Fantastic experience: Went on Edinburgh Tattoo trip this week and Slacks through driver John were brilliant. We broke down on trip back but within minutes a replacement coach was at hand , bags transferred and we were on our way, with patience and still a smile. Driver went out of his way to give us a good time and assisted some less mobile brilliantly. The Tattoo is very worth going to.....thankyou so much guys.

Fantastic experience: Went to Llanberis with them for the very first time over Christmas and they totally outdone any expectations I had of coach holidays. Please think of this company when going on a coach holiday as they just go all out to give you just the best holiday ever and if you get the opportunity to meet their driver Steve then you will have the best time ever thank you slacks for the best Christmas I've had in years

Fantastic experience: Went with my Mum on a Mystery Tour with stopover for one night.. it was a lovely weekend and would highly recommend it for anyone… won’t say where we went but we did eat chips on the seafront. My mum has been on plenty with Slacks and always had a great time.

Negative experience: Don't bother using this company if you are disabled. They work along side hotels that don't cater for this. Asked for a room next to a lift, and with a walk in shower (which apparently this particular hotel does). They contacted the hotel, and they said they could not guarantee a room of this nature. Also the lady on the phone at Slacks asked me if I had a blue badge...what does this have to do with securing the accommodation, as I obviously won't be driving. She then said I had to fill out a form for the hotel, and said she could do it for me!!! and would give me a call back today. No phone call!

Positive experience: Went last Saturday to Llandudno. Driver very helpful and friendly, coach comfy.Picked up at 07.15hrs,Ripley.Unfortuately,for me there were too many pick-ups.Ripley to Alfreton, Alfreton back to the depot at Tansley!Matlock,Rowsley,Bakewell and finally,thank goodness,Buxton...Two hours after being picked up and we're still in Derbyshire.Took 4and a half hours to get to Llandudno, sorry,but 9 hours on a coach in one day is just too long for me.

Positive experience: Had many great day trips and holidays drivers always polite friendly and very helpful . Obviously the company spends a lot of time pride and money on there coaches always clean and top quality. My only fault is maybe the drivers should look as smart as the vehicles . Our driver who took us to weston was top of class for driving and looking after us all throughout the week and steve always go that extra mile for you . But grey off white shirts do not make him look the part ( sorry steve top job keep it up. )

Fantastic experience: I recently booked a coach for a business trip to Ipswich, which involved travelling to Ipswich and then several short trips whilst there. I found the booking and arranging to be easy and straight forward, and the coach itself modern and well equipped, (fridge, toilet, seatbelts etc.). Our driver Simon was very well presented, professional and yet friendly at all times. He was on time for all parts of the itinerary, and adapted to change easily when parking was not straight forward. From this trip and experience, I would have no hesitation in booking again.

Fantastic experience: We love this coach firm, the company make you so welcome, the drivers are so helpful. We have done a lot of trips with them only( one bad experience with a driver, but not had him since) !.Highly recommend we are off again soon. We can leave our car for the hols too.

Fantastic experience: Lovely family run business

Negative experience: I recently went to the Thursford Christmas spectacular with Slacks and spent a most uncomfortable time due to Slacks putting us on the front row seats. It was almost unbearable sitting with my neck turned up for 3 hours & I had to turn away every so often to give my neck a rest. We couldn't see the performers properly - we were so close that we were looking up their nostrils which was not very nice.. We also missed the grand finale' where they released live doves to fly over as it all happened behind us. The coach also wasn't very used friendly. No pocket in back of seat to put ones belongings. No bag hook so bag had to go on floor. Nowhere to put ones rubbish. Over four hours on the coach these little things count. I complained to Slacks but they weren't interested. Hence this review.

Negative experience: Shouted at me for moving seats when I had to let out some mates who were getting of at the stop coming up. He's the one driving the 440 bus on 6/3/17 at 3:30 onwards

Fantastic experience: My Mother and I have just returned from our holiday in Looe. The holiday was very good and this was mainly down to your driver Steve,who couldn't have done any more for us if he tried. I have been on many coach trips but have to say Steve tops all the drivers for friendliness and customer care. Well done Steve, I hope your company appreciates you. Its hard to find customer care like that in this day and age.
