Fantastic experience: Went to the open day, very informative staff

Fantastic experience: What can I say absolutely brilliant have done several trip and enjoyed them all nice clean coaches and great staff give them a try if you do not you are missing out

Negative experience: Never reply to emails I’ve sent 3 now to try and book a coach for a corporate event and not had one reply!

Negative experience: First and last trip with Leons for us I think. I'm sure many find the price point , local aspect and free parking very convenient. On board staff lovely but the standard and comfort of the coach is well below that of local competitors. Too hot,too cold, coach rocked like a boat and very cramped seats, the seatbelt holder was digging into my leg the whole way. No WiFi or entertainment system on board although there was a limited drinks service. Hotel seemed well located by a large shopping mall and tram service to city centre but no local restaurants nearby for dinners . Hotel not suitable for a stay of several nights. No assistance with luggage our room very tired and not cleaned during our stay, just towels changed and beds made. Lack of hangers no kettle no iron, toilet roll on rationing. No food service except for pizzas which were good. The beds were comfy and breakfast quite good so you make the best of it although some in the group did ask to change rooms due to excessive noise from plumbing. Itinerary was fine but a tweak to give longer in nicer places would be better. The driver and his assistant were very nice kind and helpful but felt they were winging it quite a lot of the time with their local knowledge, planning and just organising the group. There was a general lack of attention to detail, such as managing check in, but this comes from the ethos of the company itself. I feel other companies have looked at things and asked themselves how can we do this to better for the benefit of the customer.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic day at Barmouth, great driver, great location great weather,

Negative experience: This was our first trip as a family of 3 with yourselves. No safety procedures given to passengers on the coach/ no contact number of driver/courier if there was an emergency. No radio or entertainment while during the journey to & from the hotel & trips. Drivers shirt & trousers were dirty, courier didn't wear company uniform she wore her own clothes. Drinks offered on board we were only offered Tea, Coffee or Water. NO cold drinks or snacks offered. Our hotel room was very small for 3 adults, had to live out of suitcases as not room in wardrobe & only 3 draws to put clothes in. Window in bedroom.broken & the one in the bathroom didn't open properly. Room was.dirty & there were cobwebs, walls were badly stained. We were on one of the brand new coaches & it was dirty where you put your coats & baggage, we were given a plastic bag for our rubbish & the seat belts should.only be around the waist as the searbelt round by the neck was cutting into your neck, & they were very tight so you felt you were in a harness. We will not be using you again for our family holidays. WE WERE NOT VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE WE HAD ON OUR TRIP.

Fantastic experience: Just had our first Leon's holiday. A five night break to Scotland including a visit to the Orkney islands. Our driver Simon was excellent. Overall a great holiday and would highly recommend. Look forward to another trip with them.

Negative experience: We had a fabulous time at the Torvill and Dean show on Sunday the 27th April. However, the coach and driver were not the best. The coach was dirty, shabby and needed a really good clean. I've never seen such dirty windows on any trip we’ve been on. The driver was so heavy on the breaks and also barely spoke to his passengers. He briefly spoke on our return to Stafford to inform us that the steering had gone on the coach and any passengers going north would have to change coach! No goodbye, no thank you for choosing Leon's, no safe onward journey! I'm afraid there wasn't a personal touch this time sadly...... Update, this was at the end of April not recently and you very did much run a coach Torvill and Dean on the 27th. And your coach was dirty. An apology can go a long way!

Fantastic experience: Just come home today going to Palace Hotel at Paignton. Our driver was Simon. Who was brilliant and looked after us do well and was nice to talk to. Thank you Leon's.

Fantastic experience: Just had a fantastic week on the Scottish Island Beauty tour. Lovely hotel, wonderful weather and the scenery speaks for itself! Tim our driver was excellent, informative and often entertaining, ably assisted by courier Ange. What a bonus it was to have Ange on board, catering with refreshments, providing information and making sure we were well taken care of, providing the missing piece of the jigsaw for long haul breaks! We're already looking forward to our next Leons Holiday!

Fantastic experience: I went on a day trip with Leon's today to the immersive Tutankhamun exhibition. It is the first time that I have been on a day trip with this company and I was very impressed. The coach was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was good as it was a hot day. The driver Andy was excellent. He was very friendly and informative. He pointed out places of interest as we were travelling and gave us facts. I've never had this with a day trip before. He also went out of his way to take us to good service stations and we got plenty of time to eat and use the toilets. Based on this trip, I would definitely recommend this company.

Positive experience: We went to the Victoria weekend trip, the chatsworth hotel was better than expected sea view room, decent tele, good lighting my friend used the swimming pool and was well impressed, the food was good varied menu. The only criticism was the return time, the driver had said we could return at midday, three people objected, so return time was 2pm, due to bank Holiday traffic it took until 6.30 to return to depot, my friend whom works for 111 as nurse practioner had to rearrange her start time. When I booked the holiday the return time had not been made clear

Fantastic experience: We have had a marvellous few days seeing two West end shows in London. The driver Andy was the best driver we have encountered during all our trips by coach. He informed us of so many interesting things and places as we travelled. His knowledge of London was immense and pointed out places of interest that we had never known. Fantastic experience: First coach trip that i have been on in many years, and to be honest had a wonderful time. Coach was lovely and comfortable. Driver Tim was informative, pleasant and very helpful, even when we got lost he came to our aid. We would of been lost without him. Abba Voyage concert - AMAZING. Hotel was very clean, modern and the beds which is the most important very comfortable. Breakfast had everything that you could possibly want. I could not fault anything on the trip at all. Would definitely use Leons again and will probably do more coach trips in the future. Thank you Leons for a lovely weekend.

Positive experience: This is hard one to do. The staff, the organisation were excellent. Not been on a coach trip for many years. The main coach was okay, bit cramped and, for me, there was no WiFi, which was odd in this day and age. The lunch was great, with fast and effective service. The boat trip was rather disappointing as it was a major draw for the trip, but lasted just 40 minutes and didn't show much of the river off. Other boat trips we've done lasted up to 3 hours. Our feeling was that, having a total of 9 hours on the coach, and only 3 hours and 40 minutes on actual visit was a poor ratio for us.

Positive experience: Just back from the Seat Of Power trip. Met some wonderful fellow travellers. Visited the houses of Parliament, Westminster abbey and the Tower of London. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Heathrow. Good points Great hotel. Great breakfasts in hotel Great fellow passengers Good driver. Great venues to visit. Bad points Stuck in traffic a lot in London Evening food in hotel average Hotel tried charging 12.5% service charge on drinks. Overall a good trip. Very friendly people on coach who've bonded with. Good pick up points by Leons. Disappointed no drinks available on coach. If we would have known this we would have been better organised. Can't blame Leons for the traffic in London as it was very busy but stuck in traffic for hours is not great. Would definitely book with Leons again.

Fantastic experience: Went to Bruges. Driver was very good, friendly, and informative. Hotel was excellent, comfortable and the food was brilliant. The only downside was the coach. The air conditioning didn't seem to function properly. 1 minute it was cold the next it was so hot. Even Tim the driver was uncomfortable with it. The coach had squeaks and rattles that were very annoying and not expected from a new coach (24 reg). There were no foot rests and the seat belts were so tight it was like being in a straight jacket. The seat backs were so high you couldn't see the screen at the front for the safety film . The seats themselves were comfortable. It is a very good trip and recommended, just shame about the coach .

Fantastic experience: Just been at their office to book a trip. Our trip was read for us. Going was ok, but coming back they made such a hash of the trip, they got it so wrong. They stopped us for a toilet stop but the toilets shut earlier. Well before we got there. So they took us somewhere else and it took hours on the road to get home.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from the corwall coastal tour. Coach was very comfortable air con and breaks when needed . Driver Simon was brilliant kept us informed of times etc all the way there and back. Hotel was basic at the duke of cornwall and needs update. Breakfast was really good , evening meal not so. Restaurant staff very unpleasant. Great value for money Trips out were great. Will definitely travel with them again

Fantastic experience: Just had a fabulous 3 day London sightseeing and shopping break with Leon's. I can't fault them. Great service, friendly, professional and efficient. The value for money staying at St Giles Hotel in Central London was amazing. This is the first coach holiday break I have ever done. My granddaughter and I enjoyed every moment. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Positive experience: On the way back from Southampton may 26 th. Decent coaches but the most miserable driver I have come across. Never spoke or introduced him self and took the longest way back. I'll stick with eavesway.

Positive experience: Having just been on holiday to Spain with leons. I would recommend them to anyone. We had a fab holiday.

Positive experience: Day trip to Blackpool yesterday. Coach was clean and on time. Parking was good at head office Stafford. Drive through the lights good. You needed to be good on your legs as coch parked a good 15/20 mins walk from the sea front on arrival at Blackpool.

Positive experience: Used a couple of times and found them okay, above adequate, would be great if they did more day trips to thursford.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday went on the Coronation St tour our guide Scott was excellent like a breath of fresh air very knowledgeable.

Negative experience: Well!!!! Had a trip with a friend Mon-Fri to Scotland with a little Scottish driver!!!.. to Rob Roy Hotel.. luckily we got back in one piece this driver was fast and had a heavy breaking foot.. and lots of use of his bus horn..the trip.. the hotel was awful, the room was filthy and I mean filthy…I have video proof.. no housekeeping you collect clean towels and toilet rolls from reception…but that’s after you’ve cleaned the room yourself..meals were really nice…very very dated hotel/motel….cheap decor and gastly flower arrangements.. terrible hotel.. TRIP.. you have to be up at 6 am to get in the coach for 7-8am each day.. you spend more time on the coach than anything else. They take you to your destination but take you to these awful shopping sites in industrial estates in smelly buildings and we had this twice in one day. No one buys anything and all get back on the coach before your due..smelling of these damp horrible places..same on journey home the driver takes you to backstreet cafe not motorway cafes where he gets free food and we are scared to drink from the stained mugs!!! Not ideal.. it was a road trip to hell.. my advise check out the hotels Leon’s use.. check out times your up and on the coach.. or just go with Parry’s a more updated company.. this trip has put us off coach trips for the future.. such a huge disappointment

Positive experience: Lovely coaches drivers first class,bad points,daughter booked a coach holiday to Torquay, specifically asked for a walk in shower emailed twice assured it was booked,reached hotel confronted by a lady on crutches and two kids off same coach crying as she too told she was in a room with walk in shower,only to be told it's £10.00 per person per night to upgrade,the room we had was a out dated dilapidated place,only thing Leon's said afterwards was well you could have paid £80.00 for four nights just to get a walk in shower so be ware £700.00 five day trip get things in writing if you require extras ,lastly driver Paul is brilliant he can judge his coach to the inch, lovely man Yes I stand corrected,it was £5.00 PP PER NIGHT FOR A ROOM WITH A WALK IN SHOWER,AND £10.00 PP PER NIGHT EXTRA FOR NEWLY BUILT EXTENSION,PLEASE INFORM ANYONE WHO BOOK A HOLIDAY TO THE RIVERA HOTEL LATER THIS YEAR OF THESE EXTRA CHARGES

Positive experience: Bought a trip for our parents to torquay and they loved it . The driver was brilliant taking them on trips all but 1 day . Unfortunately the down side was the hotel Rivera being extremely Rude to all , my father disabled and leons multiple times confirmed a walk in shower only for the rude Riviera staff to insist they pay an upgrade - leons unfortunately did nothing to resolve this issue either so we will be looking else where for the next trip

Negative experience: I have travelled with leons frequently.I have just returned from a trip to Paris with my grandson, costing over £900.The driver Kevin and the hotel were very good,however the food that was served up were very poor.I have written to the complaints department and the reply was astonishing. They were dismissive of my complaint saying they had good reviews which I know was a lie as I know 4 couples were also going to complain. I will never travel with them again,they are not interested in you once you hand your money over.

Negative experience: Booked a holiday for sidmouth in Devon at the royal York and Faulkner hotel. I am going to cancel this holiday because I've been told that you can't sit together and you eat at a small extension to the main dining room. While people are eating in a lovely dining room it makes you feel like second class we found out when we got on bus there's a letter telling us that we were not guaranteed to be able to sit together

Fantastic experience: Just want to make a special mention and thanks to our driver TIM who picked us up at Southampton and forward to Bolton. Unfortunately, my wife left her handbag behind on the coach and after several telephone calls via Intercruises/Leons the bag was located under her seat and was taken back to the depot at Stafford,, which we collected from Andy the following day. I would like to sincerely thank both Tim and Andy for their help in safely returning the bag. I would definitely travel with Leons again and recommend them for their excellent and efficient service. Negative experience: I wouldnt stop using these if they are travelling to somewhere i would like to go, but please check any hotels out first before booking as they arent the best. They can be low graded. And on the day trips, make sure shops are open when visiting. I have just taken a star away, as a group of 7 of us went to Blackpool illuminations, and the coach drives through the lights so we can see them, no one saw anything apart from people in window seats who could see the end of the lights down the side of the street, we were in a tourer coach with a big blank TV taking the front window view, so won't be bothering with this trip again I have sent 2 emails and as yet had no response, this was now 2-4 weeks ago

Positive experience: Dropped my mother off as she embarked on a 4-night excursion. Depot is very clean and tidy, with plenty of parking spaces. Coach was very well turned out.

Fantastic experience: We pre booked a cruise connect coach from Southampton to Liverpool on Sunday 23rd October. Josh (I think) was our bus driver and what a credit to your company he is. Despite it being a cold and rainy day he stowed all our cases with good spirits. Apart from being an excellent driver, he kept us informed of the itinerary and approximate timelines throughout the journey. He was polite and good humoured at all times. We have since returned to Australia and would certainly recommend your company to any potential travellers. Thanks Josh for making the journey so enjoyable.

Fantastic experience: Lovely morning at Leon's open day meeting many of the friends we have made on our holidays and enjoying seeing rob a tim again the best coach drivers and seeing their coaches looking so shiny a credit to them. The new brochure has great holidays in it at perfect prices and lots of choices. We are off a week tomorrow again with them to isle of wight a d can't wait. Will be definitely booking some more in the next few days

Fantastic experience: We've been on a few day trips with Leon's now taking our 5 year daughter and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. For me as a parent with a young child I couldn't fault the service they've provided - they've always welcomed us and been accomodating to our needs. The drivers are both professional and friendly, always letting you know the situation with toilet stops and heating/cooling, even traffic updates and where the nearest toilets are when you arrive. If you've never been on a coach trip before its a wonderful experience and a much easier way to see places (Welsh seaside's are our fave!) than I'd ever expected. Thank you very much Leons
