Fantastic experience: Amazing service from Claire. Outstanding in every aspect from start to finish .. holiday booked !

Negative experience: Booked a holiday to Disney Land which cost over £7,000. They made out that we had booked the Dining plan where you get two quick service meals and a snack and booked it term time because of this. They actually booked the free one service meal. When I realised, I went back to them and they tried to make out that I had misunderstood, not that they made a mistake. I had been talking about the two meal option throughout the discussion, so I was upset they would not take any responsibility for their miscommunication. Had to add nearly 1000 to the holiday. In hindsight, its clear the travel agent was not experienced enough to book such expensive Disney holidays. To add insult to injury, we found out our children had not been added to the bus transfer to and from the airport, even though the paperwork said it did. Our relationship was with Althams in our minds and I had no way of contacting them without spending money on phone calls. I rang Mears three times, taking time out of our busy, expensive schedule to rectify a mistakethat I did not make. In the end, they explained I needed to contact our travel agent, who was Althams in our eyes. Thankfully, Disney staff were amazing and fixed everything for us instantly. It was really sad that we had to get "pixie dusted" in this way. Disney, you ate stellar and know how to treat customers!! Im sorry you have to pay for other poor organisations mistakes!! When I explained Gold Medals mistake, Althams forwarded on the complaint, as if they had nothing to do with the issues (Going to call them Teflon from now on!) and Gold Medal said thay they were "at a loss" as to why it happened ( Sorry- not my problem) and blamed me for not contacting them. As mentioned, my relationship was with Althams as far as I was aware. They wont apologise or even try to keep my custom. I can't believe I gave them nearly 10k of my hard earned money for poor customer service!! NEVER EVER AGAIN will I go near them. I suggest you do the same.

Negative experience: Went in today thought I'd maybe get school hols cheaper for kids , long shot I know , told a couple of ladies about last year's holiday I booked with love holidays, I got a good bit of money back off the price after I saw it cheaper about 4 weeks before we were going , one of them says ' oh , I've never heard of that happening in all my 10 years in this industry ' basically calling me a liar , what a snotty cow. I'll be back in when I want a coach to great Yarmouth. Cheers petal .

Negative experience: Complete was of my time wouldn’t let me pay for currency using Apple Pay was left to look embarrassed in front of other customers. Will never use this place again!!
