Positive experience: I had previously booked this holiday online, but after hearing about a lot of bad reviews about the hotel, we made the difficult and expensive choice to upgrade to diamond club. Online it is not clear what diamond club gives you or more so what you can not do without it, and it was chat forums about people currently there saying how their dream holiday had been spoilt as the splash side of the hotel was terrible food causing sickness and the app hardly working preventing them to book restaurants in the sister hotel. We went in and explained all this to a girl called Dayna, and she helped us cancel the original booking and told us to book separately, to save an extra £100 off the booking as booking two rooms. I was lead to believe by your advertising that booking online would save me more money, but Dayna explain they could match any deal online in store and also tell us about the hotel in detail and what diamond club meant at this particular resort.If I was rating your information online and your rating for this hotel, it would be a negative 10. I have a lot of concerns with how run down this apparent 4.7 star hotel is, dirty pools causing vomiting, dirty rooms and sheets on arrival, staff are rude and the food is cold and inedible, causing diarrhoea in many cases.I am giving 9 stars because the lady in the shop, Dayna, was so helpful, calming and informative.Victoria Webb

Fantastic experience: I visited TUI Basildon for some holiday advice. I was met by Hannah who was very pleasant and helpful. The variety of destinations, options , currency and packages was supreme. Hannah was super helpful and guided me through the processes. I would highly recommend it if you are looking to book a holiday with TUI and I would recommend asking for Hannah if you want some of the best options and a friendly no pressure sales process. I will be recommending family and friends to go to this TUI. Top stuff

Fantastic experience: Went in to enquire about a holiday, for my 50th Birthday May 2026, we were greeted by a lovely lady named Stacey at the front desk, she walked us over to Mia and a new colleague Carol, all super helpful, polite and really knowledgeable about where we were looking to go. We've booked our amazing holiday, wouldn't of got everything done without the help of Mia. Great help 10/10 service all the way. We will definitely be coming back to book more trips in the future.

Fantastic experience: Visited TUI Superstore, Basildon this morning and was looked after by a lovely lady, Hayley. Hayley was very professional and helpful and was able to assist me with some issues , I had on my booking. I was quite distressed when I first arrived. But Hayley put me at ease, explaining things as we went through the booking and resolved my issues, to my satisfaction. I left the shop a very happy customer. I can't explain how helpful she was. I would highly recommend visiting TUI Superstore, Basildon. Thank you so much .

Fantastic experience: Booked a holiday to Turkey with Dayna and she was absolutely amazing! Provided detailed packages that gave us a range of hotel options, as well as finding the best price for us! She was so so helpful with providing us information about the area and the experiences we can book onto, recommending best quality for price. She showed us in detail the hotels available to us and the exact locations in relation to focal points to enable us to make a more informed decision. Fantastic experience: Just returned from a wedding/ holiday at Olympic Village in Cyprus. We dealt with Hayley at Basildon who was an absolute star. Due to my disabilities I have a list of requirements for any holiday and also require assistance along the journey etc. Nothing was too much trouble for Hayley and she was on hand whenever we needed a questions answered or anything actioned for us. Fantastic experience: Have just returned from the most amazing holiday booked through Tui Basildon with Hayley Wright! We booked our holiday to the Olympic Lagoon, Cyprus where my daughter’s wedding took place. Hayley Wright booked ourselves, my daughter and her now husband and numerous friends and relatives on this holiday and she could not have done more to answer all our questions and requests. She made us all feel that nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be booking with Hayley and Tui again.

Fantastic experience: Returned last week from a fantastic four night stay at the Olympic Lagoon Resort in Ayia Napa, Cyprus for a family wedding. Our holiday was booked and all follow-up enquiries handled efficiently over the ‘phone by Hayley Wright, who always provides excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to book with Tui via Hayley again and to recommend her to anyone planning their next holiday.

Fantastic experience: I visited TUI store Basildon with my mum back in November 2021 to book our holiday part for Olympic Lagoon in Ayia Napa for our wedding! Hayley was absolutely fantastic and was straight on to finding the chosen hotel, letting us know what our options were with regards to any upgrades, the facilities, the locality to the main town etc and was very helpful and attentive! I even went back to Hayley for my currency exchange prior to leaving for Cyprus! Hayley is always on the ball, has a great attention to detail, proactive and always smiling! She is a great asset to the Basildon superstore team! I always recommend her and the store to anyone looking for a holiday!!

Fantastic experience: I visited the Basildon tui store today and was really happy with the service. I usually use Hayes and I’m glad I went to Tui on this occasion. I got a really personal service right from being checked in to looking through the different options. I usually get sat down with some brochures chucked at me while I wait to see the travel agent but the guy checking us in started to ask us about our previous holidays and made us feel welcome. He gave us his view into the best holidays for a couples getaway as we really wanted something relaxed. This gave us some ideas for when we sat with the travel agent. We wasn’t waiting long and then we were shown the best matches to our needs which were well thought out. Highly recommend!

Not only is she professional, she's likable, friendly and always available to deal with your enquiries. After travel is also an important issue and once again she excels in this department. Fantastic experience: I booked online and had a change of circumstances. I found it very difficult to solve it with the online team so I went into the Basildon Tui store. They was very busy with lots of people booking but Curt the manager looked after us from start to finish! He was very helpful and knowledgeable of our options. The girls was great too, one last re booked me in for a quieter time and we sorted everything in half hour! Amazing service. Will definitely book in store next time!

Negative experience: Just not helpful, book online it's cheaper and when you phone the online team they are really helpful. I get the feeling that since commission has gone staff just can't be bothered, not just here but everywhere. Don't they realise that if they are not doing any business the shop where they work will surely close. Its a shame.

Negative experience: Booked holiday but feel like we have been done i fell in love with a place and when agent showed us other places we might like when it came to book the first place the price had gone up by thousands. Next time we will book online and save £££££

Negative experience: Didn't even want to try an look up a holiday told us they won't beat online so that's where you are better off trying. They wonder why shops are closing on the high street. Even when my husband said it wasnt about the price it was the personal touch they were not interested not busy either just sitting doing nothing.
