Fantastic experience: We had such a fabulous experience with Jake and AirPets. We needed to relocate our Beagle all the way to Thailand and Jake went completely the extra mile to help us. We had to travel first so Jake kept us updated at all times, with photos and all. The communication was just so smooth during the whole process, not only professionally but also really caring for our beagle. We are all reunited now and we have a very happy dog enjoying her new home.

Negative experience: Overpriced for what it is - at the beginning they're super lovely but as soon as the pet leaves the country, the conversation is over. I was promised pictures and updates on how my dog is doing, and got absoloutely nothing over 2 days. When I picked up my dog at the clearance, he was shaking, extremely thirsty and hungry (his water bowl being empty) and urging for the massive poop. He was left in the crate in the dark storage room like a piece of unit for who knows how long. Now my dog is much more anxious than he was before.

Fantastic experience: Airpets did a wonderful job helping us move our corgi from London to Los Angeles. They answered every question we had, and let us know our dogs schedule on the day of his flight. They also sent some great pictures after he was picked up from our home by their team the day before. Fantastic experience: The team at AirPets are wonderful. Everyone I had contact with was kind, patient, knowledgable and supportive. I had previously contacted a few other businesses and not only were they not available to clear animals at the weekend (unlike the wonderful AirPets) but they were also largely unhelpful. Fantastic experience: I cannot give a high enough rating - Jake and the team at AirPets did such a wonderful job helping me to move my rabbits to Canada. Jake was very patient dealing me with as a nervous wreck, even when our first plan fell through and the rabbits had an extended stay at their facility. When I picked the rabbits up after a long flight, I could see that they had been well taken care of and were very happy. If you need a pet relocation agency I highly recommend!

Leaving the UK after 26 years, selling a house and worrying about how Tommy was going to cope with the move, pushed my pre-existing neurosis to near unbearable levels. A chain of 53 emails later, and some major hand holding from this wonderful lady, the ginger ninja is here safe and sound, and has even overcome his aversion to cars - turns out they’re nowhere near as terrifying as the big vroom vroom in the sky. He is happy, healthy, and has settled in like a dream, with no sign of his usual stress-induced cystitis ‍ Lauren, you are a credit to the company and a fantastic advocate for nervous meow meows and their overprotective mamas in equal measure. I cannot thank you enough for your patience, understanding and invaluable help in navigating this major life change. If your ears are burning, it’s because I’m still singing your praises to any and all who will listen. I wish you all the very very best, honey! Fantastic experience: Absolutely first class! We used Airpets 20 years ago to move two British Bulldogs to Australia and they were faultless then. Even when the airline changed their mind last minuet about transporting bulldogs, they managed to get our fur kids sorted and relocated. I can actually say that, their service has got even better! We were lucky enough to be paired with Lauren for this current move, our French bulldog to Dubai and she was amazing!!! Always on hand to answer any query and Lauren was excellent at putting any of my worries to bed. We all know, It’s only natural to worry about every little detail and putting Harley in some one else’s care is really hard as of course, he’s my everything, but Lauren made me feel that no query or worry was ever too little or silly to ask. Fantastic experience: I cannot even begin to express what phenomenal service Airpets provided in shipping our 3 large dogs from London to Philadelphia. I worked with Lauren and she was fantastic. She replied to my inquiry straight away, was so nice and patient with me the entire process and answered all my questions as this was very stressful for me and I was quite nervous. Some of the top communication ever provided by a company in my experience. She recommended Jaime Estrada from A to Z Customs Brokerage and he was fantastic as well. Last minute there had been a change in my travel plans and I contacted them straight away and they had the paperwork sorted quickly after. The day of pick up the gentleman who collected our dogs was so nice and patient, he let us take our time easing our dogs into the travel kennels. The kennels were clean and he provided bedding and water. He even brought his own dog along for the ride which I loved because you can tell everyone at Airpets is a huge animal lover and will treat yours like their own! He called me once they got to Airpets to update me on their journey and Lauren and her team sent me email updates about the dogs vet appointments, etc. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with Airpets and how relieved I am I booked their services to help fly my pets instead of doing it myself.

Negative experience: Unprofessional, slow, unhelpful, avoid. We engaged with Sophie and Airpets based on these reviews. From our engagement with this firm and specifically Sophie we do not believe any of these to be true. She was incredibly slow to respond to all questions, if we had more than one question in an email, only one would be answered. When asked for specific documentation she used terminology that was unspecific, and so when we provided and asked is this correct she wouldn't clarify only for a few emails later (after us chasing for others) repeating the original request. This happened three times before we had to firmly explain that she wasn't helping or explaining. When we provided feedback that her lack of attention to detail in questions and clarify documentation, was to share a link to trust pilot and say "You will see from my auto-reply that I receive a high volume of emails and it’s sometimes best to reach out to me by phone if my response times are a little delayed" which is ironic given her phone is a landline, and our criticism wasn't speed it was accuracy... Highlighted by her response. This lack of maturity and professionalism with an inability to take feedback specifically as we are moving to a country known for high level of specific compliance required (and we are a simple case) sent alarm bells through us. We were lucky, that we have managed to go with another provider, who actually we had started to seek advise on the process from their website as Sophie refused to explain the process and steps to us. Avoid, and don't believe the so-called five star ratings for AirPets and specifically Sophie.

Fantastic experience: Wow! Not enough good things that we can say for AirPets. Truly a phenomenal service for our two cats (Gizmo and Zeno). With one cat being a little elderly and the other much younger, AirPets was very attentive to their needs. Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from AirPets, particularly from Charlotte Seaman, a Pet Travel & Quarantine Consultant. Despite submitting all required documentation well in advance, the documents were not thoroughly reviewed, leading to my pet being quarantined for four months due to an incorrectly administered rabies vaccination. Additionally, I was not informed that the boarding facility was under renovation, leaving me to secure alternative arrangements on my own without any support. What made this situation even more frustrating was the lack of empathy and guidance throughout this process from Charlotte. When I received the unexpected quarantine news, there was no effort from the team to offer reassurance or assistance. However, I must extend my sincere gratitude to Emma Baker, who provided exceptional service. Emma was far more helpful and empathetic than Charlotte. Her responsiveness and understanding during a stressful time were a great relief, and I am truly thankful for her efforts in providing the support that was sorely lacking from the consultant assigned to me. Despite Emma’s exceptional service, the overall experience with AirPets was far from satisfactory, and I cannot see myself using their services again in the future. I hope they take this feedback seriously and work to improve their communication, attention to detail, and overall customer care moving forward.

Fantastic experience: I coudln’t be more happy with Jake and the Airpets team, they came recommended (to be fair I put a social media blast out and a lot of people were recommended) HOWEVER, I contacted them during out of hours (literally Christmas) and received an instant reply, they managed to organise the best quote I had received, no negotiation necessary, and organise with the destination country - literally hassle free, and get my pet rabbit (which alot of companies said wouldn’t make it alive) half way across the world within a week of first contact. I won’t ruin any of the surprises but the care, attention to detail and contact is second to none. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, thank you Jake and the team at Airpets!!

Negative experience: Everything started well when we decided to choose Airpets to send our Cockapoo Milo to our new home China We have some issue with the injection that our personal vet couldn’t have it and Jake help us straight, responded to us very fast and send the Airpets vet to our home for the injection. Time to departure we need to let Milo 2 night in Airpets and will join us on the following Monday. Very stressful for us to let him because he is very nervous and scared about strangers. They were very kind and say they will update us, if we had any questions they will be there for us. Unfortunately is there everything got wrong. We send few emails my husband and I to have news from Milo and his wellbeing. No answer… Monday come, no news still… I called, the lady on the phone spoke very fast and told me “ my colleague send you email this morning, his fine…. Okay have good day” That it… the colleague never send the email. At 8.21pm ( Chinese hours) we received a email from Fay saying that some documents were missing or our correspondence in China missing pages for the customs there. We called straight… They try to cut the conversation, We finally have Fay on the phone told us the same, we ask for updates of Milo and where he is. “ we send you a update guys this morning no? Oo so sorry he is okay he is flying now” Ah okay so definitely we didn’t know they put Milo on the plan and definitely didn’t wait for us to have more clarity about the documents. Is that normal to send a dog in other part of the world knowing something is wrong !!! Our correspondent in China told us that our case was very important to fix otherwise we will not be available to take Milo. Since we have no news from them of course! For me they wanted my dog out of the facility definitely! Now my dog arrives in China and we can’t take him. Lucky the person here take care personally of our case to make it right but still my dog is in airport with any food or someone to take care of. We received a autorisation from the airport to visit him, bring food, some pad ( because of course he will that 24/24h in is cage so pipi caca everywhere) ! We will wait to have our dog back and will go asap to check is health after this But I’m pretty sure the trauma will stay for few months!

Fantastic experience: Fay and the team were FANTASTIC!!! AND... They cost £1514 LESS than the quote from their competitor. We shipped 2 very large dogs (125 lbs each) from the UK to the USA. AirPets picked them up from our hotel 2 hours away, did the vet checks, built huge crates, and got them safely away on their flight... even after they were delayed 1 day due to a maintenance issue with British Airways. And they didn't charge me for the extra day in the kennel. Can't recommend them enough to reduce the stress of shipping a pet.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about this company, and this time Amber Schwarz. My family and I relocated to the UK from Bermuda with 6 dogs and 2 cats. Amber made this process absolutely amazing for us, as the 6 of us (humans) had so many more things to worry about. She took on all our stress in this department and arranged everything from the flight pick-up, health checks, boarding over night to delivering them safe and sound AND HAPPY to our front door. Fantastic experience: Our dog flew from LHR to Edmonton, Canada. A journey riddled with challenges due to the limited carriers willing to take French bulldogs. During the journey a series of unfortunate externally influenced events occurred which required immediate attention, all times of the day. Fantastic experience: Reached out to AirPets to relocate my Siberian Cat from London to UAE. After speaking to several Pet Transport companies, Jake handled my needs and expectations with upmost care. I tend to take my time in comparing several companies and reading reviews to ensure I’m getting my moneys worth and I wouldn’t think twice in future but to go with AirPets! Fantastic experience: Amber from Airpets looked after my dog on her way back into the UK. The treatment she got this direction (as opposed to on the way out with a different customs clearance company) was night and day. Airpets kept us updated throughout the whole process which eased the worry for us and we even got pictures along the way. Fantastic experience: Due to work relocation, I had to bring back to London my puppy Eos from Italy. From when Eos landed, and even prior to that, both Amber and Emma have been present and have answered all my questions. Actually, even before having questions they already explained in detail the process to come and what Eos would have gone through. The whole process was daunting due to my and my partner's anxiety and extreme attachment to Eos, and yet, they made us feel as though everything was alright and it would go smoothly. And it honestly did. Both Amber and Emma replied to any email straight out, with clarity, details, and empathy. Eos came home without any delay, the entire process was smooth, and they updated me on any advancement/progress of the whole process. And the driver who took puppy home even helped me in managing the crate (a huge crate due to the fact that Eos is quite a big dog). 100 percent recommended.

Fantastic experience: I hired Airpets when flying my cat (Willow) to the UK from Canada. I was in direct contact with Amber. Amber was honestly a rockstar-- she was incredibly attentive, reassuring and helpful! I am so grateful that she was helping me through the whole process. She answered all of my questions and went out of her way to help me (e.g., she helped me locate petstores close to heathrow airport so I could pick up supplies). I had a bit of a scare after Willow's arrival, as at first Willow's microchip wasn't scanning. But, Amber kept me in the loop through the whole process. Negative experience: I started my journey importing my dog to Australia in July 2022 when someone suggested using Sophie from AirPets to carry out the necessary steps for me. This, unfortunately, has not been my experience with AirPets. My dog is my world, like most, so for me importing him safely, happily and with a competent company was of the utmost importance. I trusted Sophie with the process and it has honestly caused me more stress, tears and anxiety than I can express. From the start, Sophie’s communication was lacking (she even commented on this herself, admitting that communication had been lacking) and there were several times where I was concerned about her management of my import request. The first issue was after our initial discussions when I had sent payment for the import permit with confirmation that the permit was being applied for, to receive an email the next day stating that she would need a copy of the RNATT test results to start the import application. I was pretty concerned at this point, but as Sophie had come recommended I decided to carry on. (NB: the person that recommend AirPets initially is now no longer recommending AirPets and is instead using a different Agent). At every step of the process, I had to chase Sophie to get answers/results. Not once did she send over documentation without me chasing her for it, and this was always some time after she had received it! Even the Veterinary Schedule that you’re supposed to receive alongside your initial payment for the permit, I had to chase - explaining to Sophie that the lack of information was causing me some stress meant she sent over a tentative schedule with a single date on! It was just a constant hassle to get anything out of Sophie - the worst being the PEQ Booking & updated Import Permit - the PEQ Booking Number (PRN) was actually never sent to me (until the very end of our communication after multiple times asking for it), nor was the booking confirmed until I chased Sophie about the dates as I had been told that the date we requested was fully booked & the updated Import Permit, which I was told about on Oct 21st, was completed on November 1st and I didn’t get it until I emailed Sophie letting her know I was no longer going to be working with her on Nov 18th. I honestly thought the whole thing couldn’t get much worse, until I let Sophie know that I had lost faith in her ability to complete the import of my dog, to which her response was “thanks for the feedback, I’ll go ahead and cancel your quarantine spot”. To say that I was shocked at the response would be an understatement. It seemed like a very petty way to respond to someone, given how poor communication had been throughout. This then ensued a back and fourth of emailing for near 24hrs of me asking Sophie to provide the PRN Number for the booking (at this point, I honestly didn’t trust that the booking had been made, so at the very least I wanted the PRN as confirmation for the booking) with Sophie, as per usual, ignoring my requests and instead pressuring for payment (of £42 for the booking fee, which is a nice upcharge of over double given that the current cost for the PEQ fee is just over £15 - £27AUD). To say my experience with AirPets has been underwhelming would be an understatement and I would not recommend them to anyone. I would in fact, tell them to run the other way and avoid them. For a process that is beyond important for most pet owners, the way that Sophie handled things was just abysmal.

Positive experience: Did the basic job but communication was so poor that I would not use again. I used Airpets to relocate my dog from the UK to the UAE. Technically I guess Airpets does what it says on the tin - he was picked up, taken for an overnight stay, checked up by the vet, and put on a plane. Happily, he’s now safe and sound in the UAE. Unfortunately, though, I was left with an overall negative impression of Airpets because of the lack of care, communication, and reassurance during the process. I therefore can’t give Airpets more than 3 stars. In my experience, the communication from Airpets was so poor that I spent pretty much the whole time from my dog’s collection to his arrival in a constant state of worry, which just shouldn’t be necessary. To me, Airpets seemed to treat the communication part of the relocation process as an optional extra, which I don’t understand - surely every pet owner will want to be updated on the process of moving their pet? I was also frustrated by how hard it was to get through to Airpets on the phone - every time I rang, the phone would ring for a very long time and sometimes wasn’t answered. During the time my dog was in Airpets’ care, I didn’t receive any pro-active updates and I had to chase for every update I received. Even then, I would just receive minimal information. 24 hours passed after my dog was collected before I received a brief update with pictures and that was again after being chased multiple times and asked specific questions. What made things even worse is that the tracking info (Air waybill number) provided by Airpets didn’t work on the link they provided so I couldn’t even confirm my dog’s cargo status during the journey, which was torture! I have read in other reviews that Airpets seem to wash their hands of the process once the pet is on the plane, and that seems to be the case. They didn’t even confirm to me that my dog had been put on the plane, I just had to assume that was the case. Appreciating that they’re only dealing with the export, a cursory follow-up email checking my dog arrived safely at his destination would give the impression that they care, and yet I have heard nothing from them since the last update I chased for. I certainly am not left with the impression that they care. The lack of communication by Airpets was made all the more stark by the fact that the people dealing with his import in the UAE were so amazingly communicative and gave me updates every single step of the way, even down to a blow by blow account of what stage they had reached in the customs clearance process. The difference between them and Airpets has been like night and day.

Fantastic experience: You would have believed we were Airpets only customer - such was the care and attention they gave us, our pets and the situation we found ourselves in (Snub nose international transfer). Airpets (Sophie particularly) guided us expertly to the point that we handed our pets over. Then they went to great lengths to ensure we knew our pets were happy and being well looked after every step of the way. Result? A very happy cat and dog and two very relieved and grateful humans.

Fantastic experience: We shipped our three parrots from the US to the UK with Amber, who did a fantastic job as our customs clearing agent. She was thorough, knowledgeable and most of all kind. Bringing parrots over is very complicated and she was able to help us with many of the details that weren’t obvious to a first-timer. When a paperwork error from our vets (not Airpets’ fault!) caused the birds to stay a couple extra days at a quarantine facility, she had excellent communication with us and even advocated for our disabled bird to receive the care he needed while quarantining. Her tone with customers is terrible and made us feel completely disconnected when it came to finding out where our animals were. Negative experience: Cannot describe the level of dismay I have been in dealing with airpets. We have had to call up every single person to try and figure out what has been going on. They don’t know how to do their job. My pet is from Canada and has been certified by the Canadian government yet she has to sleep in their kennels tonight because “they are done for the day”..just don’t bring ur pets abroad. This has been the worst experience of my life and I have done everything correct on my end.

Hi Alina, Unfortunately in this case it transpired that the Canadian authorities had not signed off the Health Certificate with the correct information. Airpets, as your nominated customs agent, were informed of this by the Heathrow Border Inspection team at 19:00 yesterday. The Canadian export authority was contacted for an urgent request for this information, eventually obtaining a pass at 22:09. Due to this delay we were unable to complete the home delivery the same evening. The Heathrow Animal Reception Centre boarded your pet overnight as per standard procedure for late clearances. Airpets completed the customs release at 08:12 this morning and made the home delivery soon after. Having reviewed our communications we feel the 1 star review is not justified given the updates your husband received throughout this delay and that there were no indications during this process that you were discontented with the service.

Fantastic experience: We cannot thank Amber from Airpets and her team enough! Amber was dealing with us at our arrival site Heathrow. We were relocating our dog from NZ to UK with VenturePets. The HARC system had a computer problem which caused lots of customs paperwork delay to clear release of our dog to us. Amber was sorting it all out with them relentlesly! Her communication with me was eccelent! Without her it would be super stressfull and I would probably be asked to come the next day. It is abvious they care about the animals and their owners as well. The biggest challenge for them is probably the anxious owners. The whole process is very complicated and they take the stress away. And they know who to talk to and how to sort problems out if they occur. While waiting at the HARC centre at the airport, I witnessed other families paying lots of money by trying to go through the system by themselves (from USA). They did not time the vets appointments exactly (very pedantic system!), were a few hrs earlier with worming treatment resulting in quarantine days, too early rabies vaccine meant more days in quarantine. Cost was escalating also with continuous travel from other side of the UK to the airport picking up their pets at different times. Recolating animals is not cheap but using a proper agency is well worth it! Our dog was very calm, clean, well looked after and settled immediately in his new home. They know what they doing! Negative experience: I see lots of positive reviews but unfortunately, I had an issue - it's been 2 months since I complained that they shipped my cats in second hand crates (while charging the same!) with the removable raised floor missing. Meaning my animals spent 19 hours in dirty, unsuitable bedding and arrived swimming (literally sloshing around!) in their own waste and very distressed. One had been so distressed he's rubbed his nose raw, blood all around the crate and no-one noticed! They also claimed to not use normal blankets as bedding until I showed photos of how they arrived and suddenly there is no explanation. The vet bed they claim is absorbent which was used in the other crate is absolutely useless for this purpose, is actually designed NOT to be absorbent so in violation of the guidelines. I was promised an investigation over a month ago but am now being completely blanked by everyone, no replies to my chasing up. Even trying to get hold of the MD and no reply. I would never, NEVER use this company again given they simply don't care to respond and make sure this does not happen to any other animals. You have been warned.

Fantastic experience: Airpets recently helped relocate my Jack Russell Toby from the UK to Australia. The import regulations were very strict and I’m very pleased with how diligent, organised and thorough Airpets were, in order to meet all the requisite criteria to successfully relocate Toby. Throughout his stay with Airpets, Toby was well looked after by the Airpets team, I received photo updates, queries were responded to quickly and all requisite vaccinations were made at the times required before flying. Toby arrived safe and sound, and when I collected him from quarantine, he was a super happy and cheerful pup. Overall, Airpets were very professional, the staff all love animals so you know your pet will be well looked after, they provided a great service and if you’re looking for a pet relocation service, this is a place I highly recommend. Fantastic experience: We relocated to USA with 2 cats, and Jake was very helpful and replied my emails promptly. They arrived safely and started new life here. Just 1 suggestion, bedding in the crates were soaked, maybe you could add couple layers of puppy pads or something like that on top of original stuff. Generally very happy about this service and would recommend to my friends.
