Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with Tates Travel. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the communication was great! We could no longer afford a holiday we booked for new year but they helped us swap our deposit over to a new destination later in the year. The whole process was so easy. Would definitely recommend them for booking your next holiday - thanks!

Fantastic experience: Always a good service from a 1st class team.

Negative experience: We did the Thorpe Park trip by far the worst experience ever. We ended up staying in the wrong hotel thanks to the bus driver and hotel and service were rubbish never again!!

Fantastic experience: We have just come back from an overnight stay at The Old Swan in Harrogate. The deal was fantastic value with a bottle of bubbly on arrival, a £22 per person evening meal allowance and breakfast this morning, all for £64.50 each! The hotel fantastic, the food very good and the staff friendly and helpful.would definitely recommend it and will definitely book again with Tates Travel

Negative experience: Unfortunately when people book these cheap coach deals from park lane interchange, they use the Greggs and ram pack it early on a Saturday morning. Other customers cant get in

Negative experience: Disappointed with the service. I had pre-registered for an overnight trip to Wembley that was £129. My card details were taken, and when they were taken I was told there would be a £16 single room supplement, which I was ok with. No money was taken from my account and no confirmation email was received by the Wednesday, so I tried to call them to query the booking. Called twice but didn't get through. I left my name and number on an answering machine for someone to call me back. No-one did. I messaged them on their Facebook messenger page, but still heard nothing. I finally got to speak to someone on the Thursday dinner time, to be told that someone had tried to call me a few times. They had managed to get hold of me when they took my payment details. I'd had no missed calls. I was then told that there would be a further £35 single supplement, which I couldn't afford. I said I was disappointed, as I had been quoted £145. I was told that they had the right to cancel it anyway! Needless to say I couldn't go on the trip and had to frantically try to make alternative arrangements. Really disappointed, and based on my own personal experience would not recommend Tate's Travel.

Fantastic experience: What a great service from Lisa today. I'd spotted a post on Facebook that looked great but was for the wrong dates and board basis. After discussing with Lisa she arranged the holiday to our specification within a couple hours ( they're closed on Sundays too) at a very competitive price. I hope the holiday is as good as the service from Tates.

Fantastic experience: Love this place. Have frequently travelled for the last 8 yrs around England, Scotland and Wales. Visited Llandudno in September, back in February at the Chatsworth Hotel. We don't now go on the trips but travel on the bus, good tip take yr pass, you will receive £2 off fare.

Fantastic experience: Just back from a short break in New York organised by Tates Travel. After the loss of three holidays due to the scandal of Thomas Cooks demise we went to our local independent travel agent. We will stay with them in the future ! The trip was fully organised by them and from leaving home to our return everything was first class. Flights were perfect, hotel was superb and our room was upgraded due to the help of Tates. Thanks to all the staff and a big thank you for your assistance in clearing up our problems with Thomas Cooks. We will be with you in the future. Peter and Valerie.

Negative experience: Went with tates travel on the way to Wembley and back, on the way back the toilet was out of order and they refused to go to a service station for the whole of our 8 hour bus journey. Poor quality service and overall bad experience.

Positive experience: Tates is a local Travel Agent in Park Lane which is also agents for National Travel. They are easy to deal with well staffed and knowledgeable about the holidays offered by National Coach Travel and can make bookings on your behalf as well as dealing with other holidays

Negative experience: Booked to go to Amsterdam on the 2.3.18 due to bad weather I really didn't won't to go so called in to tates to see if I could change the date there was no problem changing the date but the girl who I spoke to wasn't very helpful so I decided to keep the date and go, when we checked in the girl asked if we had a dog because Tates travel had booked us in to a pet friendly cabin we were not happy at all I've got nothing against pets I don't have any pets and didn't want to go in a pet freindly cabin , our weekend turned out to be awful the ship was 4hrs delayed so no one could go into Amsterdam we ended up at a place called Hearlem nice place but we didn't enjoy so total weekend was total washout.
