Fantastic experience: This was our first time going abroad and it was like a whole new world for us. We wanted to go somewhere nice for our first time and also we wanted to go somewhere for our honeymoon and we decided to use TUI as we see their adverts everyday and they seem like they know their stuff, and we were not wrong. We went into one of their branches in Ashford, and spoke with someone called Kerrie. Kerrie literally sat us down and we did not feel rushed or anything when it came to choosing what was right for us. Kerrie ensured our honeymoon ticked every box we wanted and we went to Greece. The whole process TUI provides just puts our minds at rest. With the whole inclusive side, we did not have to worry about booking flights or travels to and from the hotel. The Flying itself, TUI airlines, the staff on the planes are just very comforting with our first flight and I can say for sure we will be using TUI again in the future. We have a nut allergy, and they ensured us that they sell no nut products and they kept making announcements at the start of all the flying which put our minds at rest with that side as well. Thank you to everyone at TUI for making our honeymoon a memory we will never forget.

Fantastic experience: The team at Ashford were helpful from the moment we went in. Wasn’t exactly sure where we wanted to go, somewhere hot and reasonably quiet. We were shown some possible destinations and guided all the way. No pushy sales tactics, just advice. Went in to have a look, ended up booking a holiday.

Fantastic experience: Went in to book our holiday to the Caribbean, a place which is new to us. Cassis spent time getting to know us and learning what we wanted to get out of our holiday. It didn’t take long for her to find a resort we loved, we are looking forward to visiting and can’t wait to explore Jamaica!

Fantastic experience: Summer was just lovely, they all work as a team in the store. Summer was very helpful and so happy to answer all our questions and if she didn’t know the answer was more than happy to find out for us. She also offered to inform us when our airline tickets would go live so that we can choose our seats and was going to check the type of room we had booked so we could upgrade if we wanted to. We felt this personal service was really important to us to make our trip special which it is as it is a celebration of 25 years of happy marriage. The other thing that I had been confused about was that on the tui app there was an online discount which I only thought would only be applied if we booked on line but this is not the case and was still given to us, so the best thing for anyone booking a holiday is to go onto the website do your research then go in and talk to the girls who put your mind at rest and book your holiday with the discount. All the benefits of on line but with the personal service. Thank you so much can’t wait to go, a new and exciting experience for the two of us.

Fantastic experience: We went into the Tui shop in Ashford to book a special holiday to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We hadn't been to Turkey before, but the rep recommended it. She listened to us when we said we didn't want a big hotel with lots of evening entertainment, so we booked the Dalyan Resort Hotel, which is by the river. The flights out and back on Tui were easy with no problems. Transfer The Tui staff at Dalaman airport were helpful and the transfer was ready for us. We hadn't been told that everyone in Turkey expects a tip, so we didn't have anything ready to give the driver. Reception The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The reception area is air conditioned and has sofas and tables for when you are waiting for transfers/trips out. Hotel room Our hotel room consisted of a front room with sofa, lamps, a desk and chairs. It was quite dark, so not really good if you want to do any work, but we didn't. There is air conditioning. Outside the front door was a little terrace with two chairs and a table. We were very close to both the eating area and the pool. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the hotel gardens. If you look to the right, you can see the Temple Tombs, which I assumed from the Tui website would be a day trip, but they're not. You can see them from the hotel. The bedroom has a bed, bedside table, dressing table and a door to an outdoor terrace. Our accommodation (3101) was on the end next to where all the supplies were brought in, which was quite noisy. We used this outside area for drying swim suits etc. In between the front room and bedroom is a corridor with a large wardrobe area including the safe, and the shower room, which has a large shower, a toilet with bidet (as you are not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet) and sink. All fine. Swimming Pool The swimming pool is lovely. It's clean and quite deep. There are enough sun beds for everyone and Ali the pool guy looks after you. There is a bar for purchasing drinks/lunch, but it's not noisy. Breakfast and dinner are eaten around the pool area. Food We were half-board. The food was buffet style and we found that there was always something we liked. The pastry chef is pretty amazing. They have a self-service bean to cup coffee machine. Spa We had two Turkish Baths and full body massages during our stay. We have never had anything like it - it was amazing. Day trips There are loads of day trips you can book from the town. Turtles You can see turtles in the river and the Turtle Hospital on Turtle Beach is well worth a visit. We hired a quad for 2 days, which was a great way to see the views. Kaunos Roman Remains are extensive and well worth a visit. You can catch a ferry across the river and then walk, or do what we did and hire a quad bike and see it on the way back from seeing the view. Microlighting Near the hotel is Blue Sky Microlight. They take you over the town; you can see the hotel, the Temple Tombs, the Kaunos ampitheatre etc and Turtle Beach. I flew over Turtle beach so low that I could see turtles in the sea. The morning is best - we went at 7.30am - because the haze later makes it difficult to see. Things that didn't go so well. The Tui app needs to be simpler. I didn't want a list of what I want to do on there, or to be reminded about covid restrictions which are now irrelevant. When I was looking about information for the flight back, I also didn't want to go through adverts for day trips; I wanted to see transfer times before the day, boarding passes and have messages answered. I only asked one question via the app, but it wasn't answered. Having said that, at Dalaman airport the Tui desk is next to Easy Jet and I felt sorry for those poor people having their hand luggage tested for size. Tui was very straight forward in comparison.

Fantastic experience: Spoke to a lovely lady today called summer! She was so helpful when dealing with my medication issue with flying/doctors note as my doctors surgery were completely unhelpful! It was all dealt with and sorted in under an hour! I haven't flown in years and never with my two young children so I am feeling very anxious about it and she has really helped put my mind at rest and she made me feel completely at easy with it! I asked her for her managers name and she told me it was Joanne so just wanted to say how lovely, helpful and knowledgeable she was! Thanks again summer!

Was greeted by Kirsty who was lovely and explained she is still quite new and couldn't yet book everything for me herself so we waited for her colleague Jo, during which time Kirsty and I chatted which was nice. Jo and Kirsty then sat down with me and took me through everything to book exactly the holiday I wanted (the right hotel, perfect flights, took me through possibly excursions etc). We're able to answer my questions about traveling with a baby, and were also lovely with my baby in the store who spent the whole time snacking and possibly making a bit of a mess (!). Fantastic experience: I was in ashford and decided to go into TUI to have chat to a member of their team I think summer was her name regarding booking my honeymoon and I found her really helpful. Iv been to various holiday agents from online to these shops and I found this one by far the best. Everyone was so polite and understanding as I wasn’t sure what I was looking for and they helped explain stuff I didn’t know about different countries I was looking at and went into a lot of effort to find me my once in a life time dream honeymoon. There is a lot of low attitude in many work environments due to the current energy crisis but TUI ashford you sure put a smile on my face so Thankyou

Fantastic experience: I have been in many travel agents but TUI Ashford is one of the best I have been in. The ladies here are all friendly and although with customers when I come in they acknowledged me when I walked in and advised someone would be with me soon. I then happened to be the only customer left in shop and all of the agents really assisted to make a good choice for my 40th birthday. The agent I dealt with was summer and she not only gave me the information about the hotel but also checked weather, rainfall, Excursions, flying premium class, everything extra which I liked as I knew what I could add on and the costing. Eventually we decided on Jamaica and one of the other agents had been at that time and gave us some advice. All in all a lovely service provided by Summer and all the girls in store and I can’t wait until 2024 now. Thank you TUI Ashford

Negative experience: Tried booking seat online, tried booking seat over phone both couldn't work. Not the best airline you want to be flying with if you wish to choose were to sit or not be stressed before holiday.

Positive experience: Tried to help me, but due to TUI's antiquated IT systems, where if you book in store you can't alter on the app, snd vice versa, they couldn't. Not the staffs fault. 4* for their assistance, 0* for TUI booking systems.

Negative experience: Booked holiday over the telephone, still awaiting paperwork after 4 weeks, it has been sent out twice still not had it and staff not very helpful as they are all telling me different things. Now I have to make time to go myself into the shop to get the paperwork.

Fantastic experience: Lovey staff, very helpful. I went in when it was extremely busy but still didn't feel pressured into making any quick decisions.

Negative experience: 2 girls serving one customer changing their holiday, so asked to wait... Fair enough. Another customer enters and got served by one of the same girls before me.... So in all, a little bit rude... The new customer was asked immediately if they were spending money, I was only changing money. So that was probably the reason... Won't go back..
