Negative experience: I was booked with Hays travel for a week in Majorca. The hotel was 4 star and I was alone. The booking was at the beach club fonte de sa Cala. . I had high Expectations but am totally upset at the treatment I received from the hotel. I was late at dinner but was informed by a member of staff that I had five minutes to eat before they were closing the restaurant. I wasn't the only onere there but did feel that I was being penalised. I did leave the restaurant immediately but complained at the front desk.. K have never been so insulted and would never come to this hotel again
Fantastic experience: Just gone in to get bits for holiday this month and also book for next year too . I have been going to hays for the last 12 years and won't go anywhere else. But today I went in knowing what country and resorts I liked and 7 places to stay with no idea which to go for . The agent that dealt with me was amazing. We looked at the places to stay and 1 by 1 it went till 2 left and then looked close one more time.. decided to upgrade for a bit of luxury.... there was no rushing. And I felt so at ease. Very happy and helpful. So a big thank you to MICHELLE. You went above and beyond... that is why I go to hays travel. See you again next year. Thank you

Strange given Disney Florida must be a popular choice! Apparently the computer wasn't working so they're going to email options to me - still waiting. How do you actually book a holiday through them? Negative experience: Staff not that helpful the tone of voice is like when me mum asked me to do something for the 100th time they want you to know exactly what date, time, place, food you want for breakfast in a year from now hays in the red mall was completely different couldn’t have been more helpful, nothing was too much, even offered to check different dates/airports for a cheaper deal we booked there and then
Negative experience: Sold an expensive holiday which included a flight on an Italian airline which had no licence to fly..staff tried to justify this, when it was brought to their attention, by repeating a rehearsed script and being very defensive..this was an ex Thomas Cook agency which may explain why it was?

Negative experience: My partner booked a surprise 30th Birthday to Berlin for us , we turned up at the hotel 11.15pm in Berlin with freezing conditions (minus 7). Only to find out the hotel was permanently closed. So we were stuck in Berlin at 11.15pm in freezing conditions, wondering what do we do now, we then had to walk around to find another hotel, when we eventually found one ,we obviously had to pay for it ourselves (3 nights) The Sunday before we picked our tickets up, we said to one of the members of the team" on google the hotel says permanently closed" we got a shrug back and a reply "we would know about this" . Even further to the complaint we did not get one apology back till I phoned up the second time on the following day in Berlin.

Negative experience: I visited Hays Travel in the Metro Centre on Christmas eve to book a city break to Barcelona for me and my partner, I dealt with a lovely young girl who I think was the trainee and she couldn't be more helpful and I booked a holiday that day. I asked her to pay £250 off my holiday, more than the deposit which was only £120, unfortunately she made a mistake which we both didn't realize ( I should have checked my bank and the card machine). 3 weeks later I receive a call off another member of staff in hays travel (again I cant remember the name) in a rude tone informed me that I needed to pay £80 then and there that moment or I would loose my holiday booking as I had booked car parking and a hotel as part of my holiday. I explained I didn't have the money and I was going to pay the full balance off on the 23rd of Jan, she said this was not acceptable, I explained the whole deposit situation and she completely blamed me for this and would take no responsibility. I work in customer service myself and the way I was made to feel down the phone was unacceptable especially about something you are so looking forward to. Its a shame my experience with Hay's has been ruined as I have booked various times with this branch in the metro.
Positive experience: Very disappointed with lack of response to a letter on return of our holiday in sept. Its 3 weeks since i wrote to say how disappointed we were with our holiday to benidorm and no one had replied as of yet
