Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of going on an Umrah trip with FLYVUE/ Al Safar in February last year, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was organised to perfection. We enjoyed multiple Ziyarah visits, and the arrangements were seamless throughout. The flights were comfortable and punctual, the hotels were excellent, and the communication from the team was consistently clear and helpful. Every detail was taken care of, making the journey stress-free and spiritually enriching. I would especially like to commend Bashir Ahmed, the owner, for his outstanding professionalism and efficiency. He handled every matter with such speed and care, ensuring that any issues were resolved promptly. His dedication and attention to detail made all the difference. Overall, it was a phenomenal trip, and I’m deeply grateful to Al Safar for making it so special. I would not hesitate to travel with them again and highly recommend their services to anyone planning their Umrah journey.

Negative experience: My experience with this travel company was an utter disaster. I booked an Umrah package for my parents during the last 10 days of Ramadan, and the problems began right from the start. The Saudi contact failed to show up at the airport for the transfer to the hotel, leaving my parents stranded. When they finally managed to contact him, he couldn't speak English and arrived three hours late, taking them to a different hotel than the one advertised. This hotel was filthy, and despite booking a triple room, they only issued one key, causing major inconvenience. Despite assurances from the agent, this issue was never addressed. During the Umrah, my parents faced numerous difficulties but didn't complain due to the significance of Ramadan. However, on the return leg of the package, Saudi Airlines overbooked the flight, leaving my parents stranded in Riyadh. The travel company, Al Safa, was unaware of this and made no effort to assist. To make matters worse, there were four other families facing the same predicament, all of whom had booked through Al Safa. In summary, this company was a complete shambles from start to finish. Despite having been on Hajj and Umrah over 14 times before, we've never encountered such issues. It's clear that this company is unreliable and unprofessional, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Positive experience: Good agency but the hotel they booked for us. Areej al wafa is a terrible hotel. Very dirty rooms with insects everywhere. Understand there are issues but after telling them they still didnt do anything and just said we will sort but everytime u go to them they seem not botherd and lie saying we came to ur room but u lot not there. Very bad hotel. Please avoid that hotel.

They gave us transfer ziyarah everything was on the time . There was no problem I will recommend everyone. Again I’m going umrah with with al safa in sha allah. All our hotel was great 5 star. Positive experience: Just came back from 10 nights umbrah 5 star package with my family, which was booked through Al-Safa. I want to write a honest review of the trip while memory is still fresh. There are lots of positive as well as negative the way Al- Safa managed our trip. The positive are as follows, 1. We flew by Saudi air lines, stayed in 5 star hotels which were very close to the mosque- As promised by Al-Safa. 2. We were greeted by our guide in Madina, who came with a coach with plenty of space for our luggage, journey was comfortable to our hotel. But we had to check in ourselves. Bit tricky when we don't speak Arabic. Would have been better for our guide to be there. 3.Transport to Makkah from Madina was comfortable, on a coach. 4. We were received by our guide in Makkah on time and helped us to checked in the hotel. 5. Zirah transport was arranged nicely on times. Nice AC coach. Now for the Negitives as follows, 1. We were told someone will be there to guide us through Umbrah. But we have been told by our guide it's not their job. My main reason for taking a package was someone will guide us through umbrah. We had pay another person to come with us,and guide the umbrah. We had no choice but to ask our guide to arrange this.very disappointed. 2. There was no guide accompanied us from journey from Madina to Makkah. Had lot of problems e.g. No one knew which place to take a short break, how long to wait etc, definitely need a guide with this journey. Very disappointed. 3. There was no guide with us from Makkah to Jeddah airport. We felt like we have been abandoned. 4. Both Zirah felt very hurried. To get it done as quickly as possible. Some information was given about historical sites, it felt like you have ask to get more info. There was no info given in advance of where we will go and visit, how long it will take, what sort of cloths to wear, if we need go in state of wuzu, etc.All the guests were asking each other these questions.(suggestions)Maybe would have been better to have pre printed leaflet with these info. Communication was poor from both our guides. First thing a person need is to know, where to get a Sim, where to exchange money and where to go to find desi food. I had ask for these. Buying a Sim is bit difficult if you do not know the language. You need the guide to be there, who knows the language. To sum it all up Al Safa management side is ok, but they need improvement on their guide in Makkah and Madina. Need guide who are more passionate about their role rather than doing bare minimum. Most of the guest commented they will not use Al Safa again. Definitely I will not use them again. Hope this will help others to decide if they wish to use al - Safa.

Positive experience: Positives - Good package at a decent price. - Afzal was helpful and attentive. - Sabbir our tour guide was excellent! Sabbir was friendly, passionate about sharing his knowledge and caring. - The travel agent staff in Saudi Arabia were helpful and always there. - Despite shortcomings with our stay in Makkah, Afzal took full responsibility for it, apologised and made up for it. Negatives - Sometimes communication was a bit patchy however at the end everything was done as promised. - Change in our hotel reservation in Makkah meant we were placed in a less than impressive hotel (avoid Mobark Hotel in Makkah), however the way Azfal handled our complaint did make up for it. Overall Despite the challenges with our stay in Makkah, the way Afzal handled the aftermath says a lot about his high level of professionalism and customer care. I definitely recommend these guys if you're looking to book Hajj or Umraah packages.

Fantastic experience: The family and I had a pleasent experience with Al-safa. Thankfully everything went through smoothly and both hotels in Makkah & Madina were close to the Harram which was ideal. In hindsight, I am slightly dissapointed that our contacts (although they were very helpful and welcoming) were unable to speak in English so the tours may not have been as informative as they could have been. All in all, Al-Safa were great. A nice touch having the owner bid you farewell and check up to ensure your stay was pleasent.

Please seek an alternative agency to avoid serious disappointments, their Talims were also directed at women and was very disrespectful causing a lot of emotion amongst the group. Very poor, stay well clear, if it wasn't for the Hajj ministery in Saudi they would have robbed you.

Negative experience: Keep clear of this travel agent. Been hajj with them this year. Was so disappointed I cannot put it in words. They claim to have 16 years experience but that’s not the case, they have 16 years service but no experience. They dont know if they are coming or going. They cannot administer the basic of service.

Positive experience: Prices are alright.Always check online offers thoroughly before buying tickets from any Hajj and Umrah travel agencies.Sometimes you get very cheap deals online such as direct flights with 4 to 5 Star Hotels near Mosque with breakfast, visa and full transportation. You can save almost thousand pounds buying tickets from online.Beware some tickets are extremely cheap due to changing planes in Egypt and due to Hotels far from Mosque.
