Fantastic experience: My wife, myself, my wife's brother and his wife, all had an excellent time on our Edinburgh Royal Military Tattoo Gold Crest Holiday. Our coach driver, John, and his wife Sharon were brilliant, very helpful and lovely, friendly people throughout our holiday. The Rob Roy hotel was also very good with great food and polite staff. Negative experience: Booked Gold Crest for the Edinburgh Tattoo from Blackpool, it was advertised as a 3 day excursion with a pick up in Blackpool, we received a email a week before changing our pick up point to 3pm at Preston 16 miles away (day 1?), because of the change and the fact we were leaving the hotel at 9am on the Sunday (day 3?) We decided to travel up to Aberfoyle in our car and spend time sightseeing on the way there and back, we arrived nearly 5hrs before the coach and saw weary travellers leaving it at 7:30pm. The coach left the hotel at 9:15 on the Sun morning and we left 2hrs later and went sightseeing on the way home. To give Gold Crest their due the tickets for the Tattoo were excellent and we had a superb view which is why the received 2 stars and not 1. We definitely won't be using Gold Crest again but it was a learning curve.

Positive experience: Me and my group booked a trip to Disneyland Paris, with pick-up from Chievely Services on the M4, which was perfect for us and one of the main reasons we booked as we are from Newbury. 4 weeks before we were due to go, they contacted one of our group to tell us that due to low sales from our area they were unable to pick us up from Chievely Services, offering us the options of either driving to Swindon (the opposite way) to get on a coach into central london to switch onto another coach that went to Disneyland Paris, or get a train from Newbury into Paddington then get the underground to London Victoria to then get on the coach that went to Disneyland Paris or finally, drive ourselves to Medway services on the M2 and leave our cars there and get on the coach there to Disneyland Paris. As our group was 6 people from ages 2, 11, 36, 40, 41 and 76, we decided to get to Medway Services as trying to get all of us into central London sounded like our idea of hell. We arrived at Medway Services half an hour before we were told the coach would arrive at noon and leave at 12:30pm, we spent 30 minutes searching the car park for the coach between noon and half 12 in heavy rain with our luggage to find the coach hadn’t arrived until 12:35pm with zero communication from Goldcrest to let us know what was going on, finally we found Mark and Olivia who greeted us and helped the group load onto the coach. Mark and Olivia were absolutely brilliant and made up for most of the three stars given in this review, Marks advice from his previous trips to Disneyland Paris were very helpful. And Olivia looked after all the passengers on the coach, we couldn’t fault them. I’m not sure i would personally book it again, it may well be in their T&C’s to change pickup location but what an absolute inconvenience it was to drive 2 1/2 hours to our pickup point was hugely disappointing and our compensation for it didn’t really feel enough for fuel/park/inconvenience

Positive experience: Excellent trip to see the Edinburgh Tattoo. The coach, provided by Red Rose holidays, was very comfortable and John (Jet) was an excellent driver and Sharon a super host. The pair were excellent couriers who worked well together as a team. John kept us amused with a feast of funny stories as the miles slipped by. Our only criticism would be that there were too many pick up points. As an example, we joined the coach at Meadow hall, which is between Sheffield and Rotherham, yet there was a separate pickup from Rotherham. The hotel was as expected on a coach holiday. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water although sound proofing between rooms was poor. The food was basic but tasty and the hotel staff friendly and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from the Tour de France coach trip & had an excellent experience with Goldcrest, drivers Craig and Beagle were brilliant throughout, very informative and good knowledge on the day trip, with added humour. Felt I was in safe hands re driving and they were very attentive that nobody was left behind at picked up at points and everyone was included. Couldn't fault them or the hotel & staff. Hotel was spotlessly clean, with a very comfy bed.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic 4-Day Break to Maastricht – Unforgettable Moments and Great Company I’ve just returned from a lovely 4-day holiday to Maastricht with my mum, and we had a truly memorable time. The city is beautiful – full of charm, history, and riverside cafés – and the highlight was without a doubt the André Rieu concert on Sunday evening. It was a magical experience, held in the stunning Vrijthof Square, and something we’ll never forget. The atmosphere was incredible! A huge part of what made this trip so enjoyable were our drivers, Matt and Adrian. They were absolutely fantastic – professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. They kept everyone well-informed, ensured we were comfortable throughout the journey, and brought great humour and calm to the group. They went above and beyond and made us feel really well looked after. This was a special trip shared with my mum, full of wonderful memories, and I’m so grateful to Matt and Adrian for helping make it such a positive experience overall.

Positive experience: We enjoyed a two day break to Kew Gardens/Hampton Court Flower Festival on 5/6 July. The bus was on time, comfortable, and our driver, Daniel, was excellent. Unfortunately, the sound system on the bus didn’t work so we struggled to hear any information. Daniel was happy to help once we arrived at our destinations. We caught the bus at Trowell, Notts, at 11am and arrived at Kew around 2.15pm. Some passengers, from further north, had been on the bus since 7am! Our overnight stay was at Lakeside in Frimley Green. This was comfortable and very clean, though somewhat dated. The trip was good value for money and both Kew and Hampton Court FF were well worth visiting.

Negative experience: Terrible company with poor communication. They change pick up points with no care or help for the customer. They ignore emails when you need assistance. They are unhelpful, rude and money grabbing. Please do not book with this company as they have no respect for the customer.

Fantastic experience: Took my son on the Royal Tour on 4th February, staying at the Disneyland hotel. From pick-up at our nearest pick up point to dropping us back at the end of the trip cannot fault Gold Crest Holidays. David and Mark our drivers were polite, friendly and kept everyone on board entertained. Kids were impressed with their goodie bags, as was I (shame grown ups don't get them). Hotel was amazing, 2 nights was certainly not enough though so will have to go back . Can't wait to book again with Gold Crest in the near future.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from Disneyland Paris with my Husband and 8yr Grandson. We had an Amazing Time. Our 2 coach driver's were Martin, who was great,very informative, helpful, and funny. Negative experience: I would never recommend Gold crest due to my horrific travel journey to and from Disney Land Paris. My 3 grandchildren and I had to change pick up points, change buses 3 times carrying all our own luggage each time from one bus station to another and drag our luggage around London to another coach station. This happened on the journey there and on the return journey. It was very distressing trying to all keep together and carry hand luggage, pillows and suit cases while we were not familiar with the area we were in. There were several familes very distressed on our trip all following each other hoping to get to our coach on time in case it left without us ! Written by a very angry Grandmother. Mrs Webb Gold Crest replied they did not break their contract they are entitled to do this to their customers.

Fantastic experience: So after a long time researching the different ways to travel to Disney Land Paris, I found an amazing deal with Gold Crest Holidays!! Coach travel to Disney, 4 nights at Hotel Cheyenne & 3 days of hopper tickets to both parks all included in the one price with Gold Crest! This was by far the cheapest way to go & not any more expensive than self driving, when you factor in the ferry crossing, petrol, tolls & general stress of driving on the other side of the road, the deal seemed too good value to miss!! Upon arrival at the m2 services (our pick up point) there were around 5 coaches, which to begin with felt a bit overwhelming, however they were all clearly numbered & the information was all in the email as to which coach we needed to board! We had 2 gentlemen looking after us on our tour, Nick & I didn't catch the other drivers name but our coach was number 1 on the Sunday 19th Jan til Thursday 23rd Jan & the other driver was also really helpful and diligent with our luggage & helping us with where we needed to go! There was some issue with another party complaining about another driver and our drivers were only too keen to help them out & get them on board the correct coach! The outbound travel was absolutely seamless, straight forward journey to Dover, Nick explained the customs process & we made our way through with no complications what so ever. Then the drive from Calais to Disney felt very long but there were no delays at all, the drivers kept us informed of arrival times and got us there safely. We were left for the 4 days but armed with emergency contact details, if there were any issues. We were told to be at the drop off point for pick up at 8am on the Thursday. Thursday's journey back to Calais was smooth and straight forward! My poor daughter was very travel sick on the way home but the drivers were only too kind, checking we were okay. When we arrived at Calais, through no fault of Gold Crest or the drivers, we were held up! The French p&o staff had gone on strike until 3.30 (it was around 11ish when we got there). The drivers let the smokers out for some fresh air & security threw us all off sight. Quick thinking from the drivers, they contacted their head office to get the go ahead to take us to Europe city for a few hours while we waited for the strike to end. Unfortunately, that whole area is a hot spot for immigrants to attempt boarding the coach and illegally entering the UK, so the drivers had to stay with the coach. They did this without complaint. I was concerned that they may need more food / water supplies, but they reassured me that they had all they needed. As my daughter had been so poorly, she did not want to come to the shops but I needed food for my son. The drivers kindly allowed Keira to stay put on the bus & I bought my son lunch, water wipes & a change of clothes for my daughter. Where she had been sick, the bag was starting to smell! Both drivers offered to get the bag & bin it for us!! I was horrified at the thought of either of those gentlemen having to deal with my daughters sick! I explained the reason I hadn't binned it was only in case she needed to use it again! The driver who's name is didn't catch got 3 more bags for us in case she needed to use them. I thanked them & reassured them i would remove the sick, they should not have to deal with it! They were not phased in the slightest and reassured us that it does happen and they are used to it! When we got back to the port, a coach in front of us were having to get all luggage off their coach & there was some people getting quite stressed out within our coach that we would have to do the same. It was absolutely pouring with rain & the thought of having to get everything out was stressing people out. Nick reassured us that customs do these random spot checks & fortunately for us, they were the unlucky coach that had to do that & we probably would not have to. He also explained that we would need our passports checked by French customs as well as the UK customs so 2 lots of checks! Post is too long...will try to continue...

Fantastic experience: Went to Disneyland Paris for new year eve travelled from South Wales pick-ups and drop-offs perfect, ferry crossings perfect, Disneyland was 100% packed but 100% amazing, gold crest coach team were brilliant with info and times for each day, not one issue with the whole trip, my daughter was so happy!!! I'm never sure with anything I book, some people's reviews I've read are very harsh, I've been on holiday all over the world but I would recommend this company every time for Disney paris it's a magical adventure, and gold crest made it a golden thank you

Fantastic experience: I travelled with my family to Disneyland Paris 23rd - 27th December 2024. The driver Mark was amazing Polite , Funny , Professional and helpful.He walked the extra mile to ensure we had the best experience on Holiday. It was my first coach holiday. My grandaughter spent her 10th birthday travelling but Mark provided a birrhday and the coach party all sang her happy birthday. This holiday was good value for money. The hotel was clean and tidy , beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was tasty. ACE Hotel was a budget hotel with reasonably prices drinks. I would definately book with Gold Crest again. Happy New year to all the Team.

Fantastic experience: Just returned from a trip to Cologne, monschau and merode xmas markets. We were collected from our pick up point on time, We were on a feeder coach (very nice coach) to medway services. We then transferred to our main coach. We can not fault our drivers Mat and Jason (Delta coaches) they kept us well informed the whole trip! Drinks were always on offer and not expensive at all. The coach itself wasnt the most comfortable and didnt have much leg room like the feeder coach did but having decent drivers made up for it. The hotel was pretty much like a premier inn. It was clean, comfortable and warm. The breakfast was continental, no complaints. We had plenty of time at each market. If im honest Cologne was chaotic, way too many people, and wouldnt care to go again but Monschau was lovely! Merode was also very nice. The trip back was fine. Ferry crossing took a little longer but that was down to the weather. We were given a free meal vouchers to use on the ferry, thank you it was much appreciated. Overall, we were impressed with the company and would definitely recommend and use again. Gold Crest you have some fantastic drivers!

Positive experience: Returned from Hyde Park Winter Wonderland. Pick up was as instructed & prompt. Driver friendly & couldn’t have been more helpful. Good journey into London & Hyde Park. Central for not only Winter Wonderland but London shopping ect. Admission to Winter Wonderland included in price & trouble free. Coach pick up to hotel gave plenty of time to shop. Hotel clean & adequate. Breakfast good. Return to Hyde Park for remainder of Sunday again plenty of time to rejoin coach at drop off point. Good return journey, no issues, driver very helpful, good value for money.

Negative experience: I booked via Magic Breaks for a trip to Disney, they have subcontracted the travel to Gold Crest. I was under the impression that it would be a coach holiday, be aware all is not what it seems. You Coach 'holiday' might well start from a train or coach station in another town (in my case Dover Priory Train Station), in which case if someone happens beyond your control, neither Gold Crest or Magic Breaks will be willing to help! We were told a week before travel, what our travel arrangements are, in our case we were unfortunate enough to to have to catch 2 trains to Dover, first stop at Stratford Town, then the underground to Stratford International, then from Stratford International to Dover Priory. At the time of writing this we have come back from Paris, the coach (Gold Crest) left early, we got an early ferry and got dropped off at the train station at 1.30pm; unfortunately our train isn't until 5.48pm. It's worth noting that these tickets are Advance ones, and not open return, and this was not my choice; it was pre-decided by Gold Crest, contracted by Magic Breaks. Upon arrival to the train station, I called Gold Crest to see if they can move the times earlier, Gold Crest said no and it was in their T&Cs; which, to be fair, wasn't with me, as I didn't book their services. So I called Magic Breaks to see what they can do, which is nothing. So in short: Magic Breaks is happy to take your money, subcontract the travel, with a company of their choosing and aren't bothered to help you out. Gold Crest will only book you the cheapest travel they can and don't care if your stuck at a train station that doesn't have indoor seating; unless you can get through the turnstiles. So you have to hang around outside, in the cold November breeze, with a 4 year old and a 7 year old; waiting for 4 hours. If your thinking about booking with these companies, be warned; they'll take your money and the customer services won't help you! (or be able to help you!) I write this at 2pm, with another 3 1/2 hours to go...

Negative experience: Booked trip to Paris and Versailles in March but was cancelled due to low demand.Was rebooked for May,but was not made aware that our coach would be shared with 40 plus families for Disneyland Paris. This meant the choice of hotel was closer to there( roughly 10 mins), than another closer to the centre of Paris(approximately 50mins). The amount of time travelling was too much for the ones left after dropping off at Disney then onto Paris.Just seems the whole trip was catered for Disneyland not Paris etc.Rained all the trip which sadly ruined trip to Versailles as too wet to explore the gardens.1 star for our excellent driver.

Negative experience: This must have been the worst experience ever the coach journey to the German Christmas markets Rudesheim Dec 8th 2023 leaving Hull at 4am in the morning arriving ar the hotel in Germany at 4am the next day over 24 hours getting there and then 25 hours travelling home on the most uncomfortable coach with no facilities with appalling customers service Never again gold crest you should be ashamed of the poor level of service you are providing to your customers The only plus side to this awful experience was the beautiful rhine scenery

Negative experience: Far from relaxing holiday running around to catch two additional buses finely get too the hotel too find out it’s one step up from a hostel with the room that only half the lights work bed what is just as good as the floor so ideal for people with back problems plus no amenities near by apart from vending machines so remember to get some coins before get here stated 5 min walking to train station what is more realistic if you was in a car 20 mins away walking Gold crest must have made a massive markups on prices on this trip £870 plus

Positive experience: Went with delta travel who done contracted for gold crest buses. We came back 2/09/23 from Disneyland Paris. Was like a day trip bus and drivers Alan and Albert were always complaining about either not getting on ferry there and back first. Or about chatty passengers on bus. Only interested in eating and drinking. We were coming back and Albert was using his phone for 2 minutes while driving plus Alan cleaned bus up left broom in isle kept hitting me. Disney was anything 40 euros upwards tiny bottles of pop to much money and not worth going. Security takes you longer to get through and beggars with fake tickets or Disney park tickets stand in fron if you not move. When entry park you have to take everything out if pockets. Coming back through french security nightmare you have take everything out of pockets and french security guard asked me twice do you have phone in your pocket I said twice no he said put fleece jacket through machine to prive it. Hotel Cheyenne has gone right down like staying at Santa Fe. Hard bed and pillows in room. Bath very slippery and deep. Basin tap dripped all the time and toilet had rust in ubend room not cleaned properly. Half filled Disney products in room. Not good for climbing stairs if you are a elderly adult. Room 6628/88 absolutely shocking holiday. Totally shocking holiday after waiting four years to go back after COVID 19. Parade was ok but not good and if you put foot on squared road bit Disney security shove you back and shout at you to take children off bins. Also if your child stands on the footpath they take your child and wave no no.

Fantastic experience: Weekend at Oxford and Downton Abbey. The weather was so good tge coach tgat picked us up for the weekend was so new and comfortable our driver Andy was first class and funny the hotel hamikton by hilton was just the ticket at the end of hot day. Fantastic experience: We booked a 2 night trip to Disneyland with Gold Crest. Such a great price and the coach trip wasn’t as bad as we thought it was going to be. Negative experience: This company cannot be trusted, they operate a sharkish policy that takes advantage of OAP vulnerabilities. We booked our coach tour with a deposit of £520, when I next contacted them they told me that I had failed to pay the balance on time and therefore they had cancelled our holiday with no return of £520 deposit. They didn’t remind us that a balance was payable, they didn’t warn us that our holiday would be cancelled if we didn’t pay the balance by a certain date. They didn’t even notify us that they had unilaterally cancelled our holiday and kept our £520 deposit. They wouldn’t even allow us to carry our deposit over to a future holiday. They did of course resell our holiday to someone else within 3 days of due date. They prey on forgetful OAP’s beware!

Fantastic experience: Just returned from seeing an Andre Rieu concert in Maastricht which was booked through Goldcrest, the whole experience was a pleasure and straight forward, the coach company used was Red Rose from Lancashire who provided 2 very experienced drivers and a very smart and comfortable coach, wouldn’t hesitate to book with Goldcrest in the future. Negative experience: Do not use this company they left a full coach stranded for 7 hours in the middle of no where we missed a full night sleep only arriving 4.30 am looks like we won't be getting any money back for what the holiday was wrecked and both coach drivers was rude

Positive experience: Disneyland Paris journey, we got picked up York at 4 am to then go onto hull, Grimsby then Doncaster. The bus driver for the morning was friendly, the tiolet was working not the nicest but in working order for at least half of the journey there. The drivers swooped over at Grantham with another pick up and then it was the journey to Dover. We had 2 tiolet stops and 1 for 10 minutes and another for 30 minutes to get some breakfast. We got back on the bus when we got to Calais and this was another 3.5 hours drive we had one stop on France for 30 minutes. We finally arrived at Disney land around 10.30 ish this journey took 17/18 hours it was to much. When booked we got told 12 hours. On Friday when we left it was supposed to be a late morning pick up which our travel agent told us when arriving to Disney the driver said he would be picking us up at 7.30 am, I’m so glad we didn’t do the meal plan as we would have missed out on breakfast. We left after 2 other hotel pickups at 8 got to Dover and onto the ferry. The tiolet wasn’t working he said the water had been left in and it wouldn’t flush. He did no tiolet stops till we got to the ferry Back into the uk and we didn’t get a tiolet stop till Grantham as he missed one of the services. Then the new driver stopped in hull and people had to pee in a side street as they were that desperate to go. It was booked as a 5 day holiday we got 2 days travelling for 17 hours and 3 amazing days in the park. I feel that when you book this should be explained. No tea or coffee offered on the bus either. The drivers do work hard but can be more cheerful and helpful and the tiolet situation definitely needs sorting I don’t think it was emptied beofre we set back home.

Positive experience: Just returned from Disneyland Paris 5 day, 4 night trip. Would love to give more stars as drivers generally were fantastic. Unfortunately I think the company needs to source areas to where they can dispose of the toilet waste and refill with water in or near Paris. Surely during the 3 days the drivers had, there could be an arrangement made for somewhere to empty and refill. Telling passengers, many being young children, that the toilet facilities were no longer in order due to no water and full waste tank, just isn’t acceptable.

Fantastic experience: 4 day trip to Disneyland Paris. Upgraded to New York Art of Marvel hotel due to not being able to be picked up at our nearest point (booked 2 weeks before date of travel). Negative experience: Just back from Christmas Market trip to Germany all I can say is stay clear the bus its self was far too small for that kind of long journey and the driving duo were an absolute joke refusing to serve tea and coffee when asked and there lack of knowledge about the area and roads they were using was terrible got lost more than once just un professional.I would never use this company again or recommend Alan and Martin you are in the wrong job never experienced unprofessionalism like it

Negative experience: I am so disgusted to find out this morning that our family trip has been cancelled, I am left with 3 children upset and disappointed, to make the matter worse it was for one of the child’s birthday!!! We now have to wait upto 14 days for our money to be returned and we then have to try and find an alternative travel company…terrible service and disappointing

Negative experience: Trip to maasterich 15th to 18th July. The holiday was spoilt by the coach we were on. Not fit for such a long journey. It really wasn't suitable for the length of time we were on the coach there and back. In all the round trip, 25 hours plus, and taking into account the heat and air conditioning not working properly, it was the worst coach holiday ever. Never again with Goldcrest. Pick up point changed which incurred additional cost for my taxi journey. Stuart, our driver, was excellent.

Negative experience: I will never use this company again. The pick up point was cancelled 2 weeks before we were due to go. I had already arranged parking which I had to cancel with no refund. I spoke to Gold Crest who wanted proof of parking, thus implying I was lying about parking fees. The new pick up point was 6 miles away from original which we had to get a taxi to as there was no parking at all at they pick up point. We are at our hotel right now at Brussels airport. It’s very basic, and as I’m writing this at 6-30am I have been awake for ages as aircraft are taking off every few minutes. After a very long trip, getting to bed at 11-30pm and then being woken up at 6am by aircraft noise is just a nightmare. Roll on Monday when we can go home. NEVER AGAIN …next time we go on a coach trip we will go with LEGER who do what they say and not change the itinerary to suit themselves which is just what this company do.

Positive experience: Gave a try as our excellent local company has dropped our town from pickups. Acceptable for the price. Standard of coach was basic. Hotel fine, but popular with coach trips therefore breakfast was manic with inadequate provision. Plenty of time at destinations.

Fantastic experience: We have just returned from a trip to Disneyland paris. We had a lovley man John who took us to our main coach where Lee and sarah took us all the way to paris. They were brilliant. Got us there earlier than expected and lots of disney films on the way. They got us home safely even though we arrived to uk to storm Eunice and even took us directly home which was really appreciated at 12 at night.

Fantastic experience: We went to Disney land with Gold crest on the 23rd Jan. Couldn't fault them at all. They played Disney films, kept letting us off to stretch our legs (15 hours is a long time to travel so it was much appreciated), came around with drinks and soup through out and we even managed to get the earlier ferry meaning we arrived earlier than anticipated which was appreciated when travelling with a 7 year old. Passport checks were stress free thanks to the guys explaining what would happen at each port as Calais was a little scary for the kids with sniffer dogs etc. Graham and Tony gave us lots of information on the best places to grab a cheaper meal, trains and bus times whilst at Disney etc. Additional info that they didn't have to give but did just because they were really nice fellas. The bus was clean and our little bin bags were changed frequently. We are already looking at our next booking with you guys. Thank you so much!

Negative experience: Cologne, Monschau and Merode Christmas Markets. This was my first and last time using the company. They rearranged our pick up point further away once the holiday was fully paid, as they did for others on our coach. On our outbound journey we had to wait an additional 40 minutes, on top of the scheduled 1 hour plus comfort break, at the interchange to wait for late feeder coaches. It was even longer on the way back. We then had a single 30 minute break in the next 9 hours. This was at little more than a petrol station with a cafe that was closing and most food was unavailable. The literature says the driver would let us know if the restaurant was open when we arrived but as there was no restaurant in our hotel there was no hope of getting food at 11 pm when we finally got there. There was no rep on the coach throughout the 4 day trip. The hotel was fine though miles from walking distance of anywhere of interest. The day in Cologne was from 11am arrival time to 7pm departure which was too long and would have been better broken up into a 4-5 hour daytime visit then a return in the evening for those that wanted a night out and a decent meal. The following day was a few hours in Monschau which was not long enough to walk around and have lunch then too many hours at Merode Castle. Again that would have been a better split with longer in Monschau and less at Merode where there's nothing to see once you've walked round the markets along the moat. After leaving our hotel at 7am the last day it then took approx 9 hours to get to the interchange where we waited over 2 hours for other passengers from other trips. I felt so sorry for all those travelling back to the north with young children. The drivers also mentioned they would likely be unable to complete the trip as they would go over their legal working hours and were trying to arrange another driver. A total letdown of a trip and a very poor advert for a family run company. I notice the company only responds to positive reviews, maybe this will be an exception!

Negative experience: I would never ever recommend this company to anyone they state local pick ups I had to catch s national express bus from Swansea to London with a child/ teenager with additional needs which were stated when booking the holiday. We booked through a travel agent to go to Disneyland Paris the park was good but holiday ruined due to traveling arrangements which I didn’t pay for three different buses one not even labelled gold crest I’m not a mind reader just lucky I over heard second bus driver say the third bus make and told my son we were waiting for . Due to my sons issues he needs to be told thing in advance if things change as he hates change when we got on the bus at Medway we were given seats 23 and 24 which did not exist that area was the toilet and everyone was in the wrong seats driver answer was sit anywhere or we will miss the boat (he) was a little late getting to Medway you had families that were separated I was lucky that my son believed my lie that we were in seats 25-26 which I didn’t like doing to him and prayed he didn’t find out . Then on return national express bus from London home arrived in London 2 hrs before due to leave and was not aloud to get on an earlier bus and had to stay there meltdowns people pushing and staring at him not nice . I have sent a letter through the travel agents nothing was sorted and was told by gold crest remember you have 5% off your next holiday wrote an email to them and nothing stating still wasn’t happy as things weren’t addressed . It’s a complete joke of a firm all that money yes we enjoyed the park but Disneyland is nothing to do with the company . I used a coach company as my sons dream was to go on a ferry and being a single mother thought it would be easier big mistake massive I’m not the only person that has been let down by them . A holiday is not supposed to be stressful it’s supposed to be fun not ours !!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Disneyland was amazing, Paris was beautiful, the hotel was basic but relatively clean with a decent breakfast & the drivers for our outward journey to Medway & who stayed with us from Medway to Paris & back to Medway were lovely. However! Although Gold Crest advertise local departures they don't honour all of them. Ours which was 1.5 miles from home was cancelled 3 week before we departed & we had to get to a departure point 14.7 miles away. Gold Crest small print states that they have the right to cancel if there is another departure point within 15 miles. They cancelled the Kidderminster, Stourbridge & Walsall departure points for our trip, because it was a bank holiday it cost us an extra £67 in taxi fares. I had to chase our departure info twice before I received it a week before we left. We departed Dudley at 7:45am & arrived at our hotel in Paris at 10pm. We had to change coaches at Medway for our outward journey & then Medway & Walsall for our return journey. We had 2 days in Disneyland, we were picked-up from the hotel at 9am & collect from Disneyland at 11:45pm, getting back to the hotel at 12:15am. On our 3rd day we went on the Paris Tour. Once again we were picked-up at 9am & collected at 8pm so very long days for children plus the drivers itinerary was different to our. Our return journey was a nightmare! We left the hotel at 8:30am arriving at Calis at 1pm withoutb stopping. We did go to a hypermarket in Calis, were we could get food & go to the toilet. Our ferry departure at 3:40pm & we set off from Dover at 5pm & got a 10 minutes toilet break at Medway at 6pm. The coach we caught at Medway was dirty & the toilet was leeking sewage over the floor. We drove from Medway to Dudley without a break, when we asked the driver for a toilet break, he told us he only had to give us a break every 5 hours & to use onboard toilet but we were stood in sewage to us it. A toilet break every 5 hours for children & elderly people isn't satisfactory. I will never use Gold Crest again or recommend them. I'm a parent with a child with additional need so the package looked great for us. Friends in similar circumstances have asked me to let them know how I find Gold Crest but I've had to say the trip isn't suitable for young children or children with additional needs. Gold Crest were aware of my daughter's medical issues but we found the customer service & general information poor. When we got to Medway our connecting coach had arrived & the coach number wasn't on my ticket, it was chaotic!

Negative experience: Glad I did not go through with booking a holiday with them. I spoke to multiple people who provided me with the wrong information. Was told I would be called back within a few hours that never came. All in all I did not think this company deals with people professionally or care much about customers.

Fantastic experience: Great 4 nights at Disneyland Paris, the coach drivers were great and gave plenty of stops to stretour legs. I ended up flying home as I miss timed my arrival for work the next day but would definitely do it again and recommend gold crest holidays for a great price trip
