Negative experience: Really irritating adverts. Yes, I know this is pedantic.

Negative experience: Appalling customer service from Eurocamp!! Whilst staying on a resort with them a male member of the site team stood over me and screamed and shouted abuse at me in front of my 3 and 5 year old because I misunderstood the payment for a sunlounger and tried to pay him directly. Despite the Eurocamp rep on site being fantastic, the head office were abysmal. I was so upset I was crying and shaking, the site belittled me and refused any assistance. The rep on site hugged me, comforted me, and contacted head office herself. They took almost two days to contact me, and when they did it was purely because I had a video of the person responsible and they wanted to pass on a threat from the site that my having it was a criminal offence! It wasn’t. They hadn’t even bothered to check before passing it on and intimidating us more. They didn’t work with the site to help us. Instead they suggested we move! We looked to move to local sites, at their suggestion, only to then be told no local places were available (not true, they were but it would be an additional £4,000 that Eurocamp didn’t want to fund) and suggested we move four hours away at our own expense! Whilst they were responding when I was discussing moving at my cost, as soon as I asked for my money back they ignored all calls, messages and emails thereafter. I still have no resolution, and we had to stay despite feeling so intimidated and upset we had to go out every day rather than use the Park. Additionally, the chalet was old and in poor condition. The oven was unusable. The one time we tried it filled the chalet with something that burned our eyes - no idea if it was faulty or a cleaning chemical. The shower didn’t drain and so soaked the floor - we had to put two towels down each day, and the floor was rotten and bowed. The chalet opposite was in worse condition, which meant for our last three days we had two (very nice) builders making noise all day as they ripped it apart - which was loud and really unsightly, and too tempting to the children, so we couldn’t enjoy the (damaged and bowing) deck of our chalet either. We didn’t report the issues initially thinking we would be leaving but when I did report it to head office, with photos and videos, they ignored me completely. £2,200 for a very poor experience all round. The only saving grace for Eurocamp was their on site reps, Claire and Geoff, who were absolutely lovely. Kind, caring and funny. As always the people on the ground, as it were, are wonderful but the company management lets the whole thing down. We won’t use them again, nor will our friends or family.

Negative experience: So disappointed with Eurocamp. Not what it used to be. We were booked into Parc des roaches , had 5 nights booked there after our Disney trip. Got there late after Disney and was not prepared for how awful it would be. It felt like I was in a nightmare with my two children. Accommodation was tired with paint peeling from walls and rusty radiators and fridge curtains pole hanging off and everything dirty , the whole place didn’t feel safe at all. We couldn’t stay I felt I was putting my children in danger by even staying the one night. We had to put them back in the car and drive whilst trying to find a hotel for the night . The next day spoke to eurocamp, they spoke to me like I was the 100th call they had had that day with same issues. Basically they have taken on lots of smaller sister sites this year, and they are using their customers as Guinea pigs to see how it goes. Absolutely disgraceful to think a place like that is suitable for families, and no care to the fact that our holiday had been ruined. Won’t be booking with them again

Negative experience: If I could rate euro camp zero stars I would. We drove 20 hours to our campsite and were greeted by a caravan that had its ceilings and walls peeling off and the decking, table chairs and loungers were covered in bird poo. We reported it to the onsite manager who told us "this is what you get for £400" but he said he would find suitable accommodation, he then spent the next two days avoiding us. We left our 7night holiday and came home after 3 nights. I have emailed this company letting them know of our experience and have heard absolutely nothing from them. Stay well away, the price of their holidays look to good to be true because they are.

Negative experience: I was racially profiled by a holiday camp in Paris kept up for 2 nights, stinky caravan when we got therei reported it to eurocamp and they think £75 towards my next holiday is sufficient, been using keycamp/eurocamp for over 30 years and its the first time I was racially profiled

All accommodation should be clean and free of odours, it mustn't have been very pleasant to enter a mobile home with a bad smell. I hope the smell was resolved and you could happily continue your stay.

Our on parc team are there to help all guests. I am so sorry to hear that the on site team did not appear to be fair or equal towards your family. Please be assured we are here to help.

I can see that the request for you to be near another accommodation is on your holiday booking. We can't guarantee any request but the parc should be trying to make it happen for our guests.

All holiday makers should respect each other and should not be noisy as this parc is a family holiday destination.

Negative experience: Eurocamp have cancelled my holiday to Switzerland three weeks before we should travel. They have still not, despite requests provided an email apology and put in the email, the reason why our holiday has been cancelled, I suspect it was a double booking. Very poor service; be vey careful when booking. We are devastated.

Negative experience: DISGUSTING. Cancelled our holiday a month before, had been booked for a year. No chance of booking anywhere else as all booked up. VERY ANGRY, FAMILY HOLIDAY RUINED. Negative experience: Mine also got cancelled. I booked 6 months ago and received a call to say we can no longer stay at that park. I had already booked the Eurotunnel and it couldn't be cancelled or moved. I asked for compensation for the Eurotunnel but they wouldn't do this. Now I need to try and find a holiday at late notice. My kids were so disappointed. I was going to use them next year for a 3 week holiday over Europe. I definitely won't now.

Fantastic experience: Just great customer service. I don't often have to call, but the few times I have over the years (I probably have 1 Eurocamp holiday a year), they have consistently been helpful, polite, and friendly. A lot of companies could learn from Eurocamp (No, I don't work for them ).

Negative experience: Eurocamp - tripling the price of your holiday during a cost of living crisis. We were booked to go away in September but needed to rearrange due to our cat getting cancer and needing her leg to to be amputated. At the time we had booked an upgraded Classic Caravan at €160. We hoped to rearrange our holiday to next year but were told that we had to rearrange before the end of the season. We were able to get a booking at the Domaines des Ormes site, however we needed to upgrade to the Azure caravan which cost us £510 On arriving at the site many of the facilities were closed. The outdoor pools were also closed although we did have access to the indoor pool. On a more positive note the Reps were lovely and very kind. However, the caravan primarily consisted of bedrooms and was less spacious than the classic caravan. Our Welcome pack consisted of a dish towel, a cloth and a scrubber. There was a tiny bit of washing up liquid and a toilet roll! On exploring the camp it became very evident that there were some vacant Classic Caravans. We have just returned from a 24 hour long trip from the resort back to Scotland. The day started by getting up at 5.30 AM to complete a cleaning regime point by point to ensure that we didn’t have another €100 deducted for this cleaning regime not being completed up to standard. My wife is an operations manager for a cleaning company and had gone on holiday to escape cleaning so it was left up to me. As a couple we have often used Eurocamp and had fantastic holidays but after this experience we certainly will not be using them again!

We are sorry to hear that the outdoor pools were closed during your stay. At the start and end of a holiday season, the parc management may have to take the decision to close certain amenities, generally due to poor weather conditions. To avoid this being a surprise for our customers, we do highlight this on the parc pages of our website.

While it's good to hear that you found our reps kind and helpful, we understand that your overall experience did not meet your expectations and we're sorry.

Fantastic experience: Camp La Chapelle well laid out. Good facilities, pool excellent area, little shop that sells freshly baked baguettes, croissants etc. Nice and quiet late in the evenings.There is a bar on site if you want to use. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants, supermarket and beach within 10 minutes. Although we didn't partake there are activities going on most days such as aerobics, petanque etc. Staff extremely helpful cannot fault them at all. Can't wait to return.

Negative experience: Commenting on a 2 site holiday, both the sites and Eurocamp as a whole. Eurocamp We have been using this company for many years, firstly bringing our young children and then in their teens. We have brought them and their children to experience a Eurocamp holiday and we have recently holidayed as a couple. Eurocamp is no longer customer focused, it is just wanting to make it as cost efficient as possible and its business model is all wrong. In the past, returning customers were left a welcome back card and wine in the fridge, On arrival couriers would greet you, offer you a drink and then guide you to your placement, making sure everything was in order. They would pop round periodically to make sure everything was OK. How different it is now. You get a map, a key and a list of instructions of what to do before you leave with the threat of a fine of €100 if the mobile home is not left spotlessly clean. We were told to clean the shower, toilet sink, kitchen worktops, fridge cooker, BBQ, we were told to strip the beds, brush and mop the kitchen floors. Be packed and ready to check out by10am. Hardly a relaxing end to a holiday and to be frank, I come on holiday to escape the drudge of cleaning. We own a holiday home in the UK and we would not DREAM of asking our guests to clean the property before we leave. Eurocamp, you should be ashamed of yourselves Des Menhirs. A small site. We arrived early and were told to go away and come back at 3pm. The Courier told us we could use the facilities but did not give us a map of the site or any information on local eating places. When we finally returned at 3pm, we were given the keys and sent on our way. And that was the last we saw of any of them. Apart from the last evening when someone came round to remind us to clean. We were told that the main reception was only for getting Internet (a charge of course) or washing machine tokens. She failed to say that there were leaflets in there of things to do in the area. The mobile homes were crammed in within an inch of their life and parking was a struggle La Palmyre A larger site with a very pleasant Courier. Communicating could be problematic at times as her English was limited (as was our French!) ...But she was friendly and obliging. It would have been handy to have been told that the shop was closed on Mondays.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have returned home disappointed with your stay as this is the last thing that we would want, especially as you have had so many amazing holidays with us in the past.

Unfortunately, as our capacity has increased, we have had to scale back some of our services, especially with regards to arrivals on parc. That being said, you should still be welcomed in a friendly and professional manner, with an offer of being shown to your accommodation should you wish.

The housekeeping agreement is new for 2023 although most of our loyal customers have automatically been adhering to this over the years anyway. We are constantly monitoring how our new processes are met by our customers and will continue to do so throughout the season. All feedback is valuable be that positive or negative as we strive to offer the best holiday experience we can.

I know that we reached out to you personally to address your concerns and help put your mind at rest with regards to how we are looking to improve for next year.

Negative experience: Terrible experience, they contacted us days before our holiday, stating the accommodation was no longer available. To then palm us off with a lower standard of accommodation,in a park we did not pick. Even trying to give us a different location in Spain all together regardless of our flights. Very little compassion, condescending tone, multiple conversations,constantly having to chase,not updating notes.very unprofessional. Angry is an understatement. Refunded, to then be sent an invoice for a holiday that isn't the one we booked, when having to call again 8th time today, it appeared to be an effort for written confirmation of refund. Furious beyond belief,certainly will not be using Eurocamp again,better staff training is critical. Date of experience: 11 May 2023

Customer service is at the heart of everything that we do, and to inform you that your planned holiday wouldn't be possible a month prior to your departure, is absolutely not a decision that we took lightly. In this instance, the cancellation was unavoidable due to construction works being carried out at your booked parc.

We've investigated this and can see that we tried every possible avenue to give you a holiday of a similar standard to your original one but unfortunately, we weren't able to provide you with the desired grade of accommodation in the required location. Fantastic experience: I had issues having my payment approved due to a card payment limit I had set. I tried to rebook once I had changed the limit but my holiday was no longer available. I suspected this was because the booking was being held pending payment. I used the contact number to call customer services and was quickly speaking to Janet it was very helpful and retrieved my booking. Not only that Janet was able to give me excellent advice regarding our travel arrangements which led to a rethink in our booking. Janet having visited the region was able to give me great first handed experience advice on things to do and the best times to visit places. The best holiday booking experience I have ever had, and at 7:30pm near to the time the customer service line closes for the evening on a Friday when you can often not get the best service Janet was engaged and asking questions about what we like to do and where we can charge our vehicle. Later minutes before the close of the phone line Mandy took mu call and guided me into logging on to my account and again was helpful and engaging. I was super impressed with my first experience with Eurocamp.=, and have raved to friends since.

Negative experience: Stayed at La Bien Assise near Calais. This review is in no way a reflection on this park which was lovely. However Eurocamp website states this park has a range of facilities including games room,pool tables,volleyball net etc. This convinced us it would be suitable for our older children,however on arrival none of this was present. We spoke to the Eurocamp rep who was aware of the situation (we found it odd that they had not informed Eurocamp!) We emailed the complaints team who offered a very small amount of compensation and said it was down to individual parks to let Eurocamp know what facilities they have. We find this a very strange attitude to have,especially knowing the rep on site was aware of the situation. First time with Eurocamp and will definitely be the last. However the site is lovely but for younger children.

Fantastic experience: If only all customer service was this good . We have been away a few times with Eurocamp and it has always been Fab this time we could not go because my daughter got chicken pox . Mandy did everything they could to move to another date so my 4 year old still gets to go to Disneyland. Fantastic experience: I Have used Eurocamp for many years, ever since they took over from Eurosites, we have never had a problem with them and would recommend them highly to anyone who wants to give this type of holiday a try. what ever you want there is a holiday to suit you, If you want quiet or lively, beach or countryside or rivers or lakes or even Snow capped Mountains and of course many different Countries to choose from.

Fantastic experience: We have holidayed with Eurocamp many times and have always had nothing but good experiences. Reps on the sites are generally excellent as are the customer service agents we have spoken to on the telephone here in the UK. Were just looking to book for September this year. I don't think you will find a better value family holiday experience in Europe any other way. We just wish we started using them earlier instead of random house rentals.

Negative experience: Just experienced very poor service from Eurocamp, offering a credit note instead of a full refund due to Covid. In unprecedented times, when holidaymakers are tight for money, Eurocamp have held our money for 12 months and still threatening cancellation charges when we are concerned with going to France. If our Govt hasn’t said we can’t travel then we lose 70% plus our deposit. That’s all well and good if we can travel, but we then have to pay more charges on top of the holiday to pay for Covid tests for 6 people, around £600 on top. Poor attitude from Denise at Eurocamp whose answer was ‘we are a business’, very sympathetic response from a multi-million pound business !! We now have to wait two weeks before we go, to find out if we can get a full refund, at which point, how do we have time to find another holiday and before the kids go back ? Money before customer satisfaction Eurocamp - not a good look and will not be using Eurocamp again as a result. Had there been more understanding we would use them again, but sour taste left in the mouth after this.

Fantastic experience: Due to the pandemic our June holiday was cancelled. We were given verious options to change. We chose to move 2021 to 2022 and it was easy to do. We spoke to someone and all our travel arrangments were sorted out with one phone call.

Fantastic experience: We normally go with sister company Al Fresco but I better deal and accommodation was to be had with Eurocamp this year. They need to advertise ferry bookings more widely as it is cheaper than booking separately to the tune of a few £100's!

Fantastic experience: Lisa the Eurocamp was just brilliant! Our holiday was cancelled for the second year due to Covid but Lisa was very understanding and helpful. She went through the whole rebooking process and explained everything in plain language. She managed to get us on to a new site for our last location, which was far more convenient for our return home. Can't speak highly enough of her. Brilliant!

Negative experience: Always had good things to say about Eurocamp. However trying to get sense out of them at the moment is difficult to say the least. we are due to go away on the 18th May, they will not give me a credit note yet as they think my holiday will go head..... really? i would love to rearrange the holiday but not sure what date or where, Eurocamp will not allow us to do this however and insist we either cancel and loose our deposit or give them new dates to rearrange. We do not want to rearrange just yet though as this would be the 3rd time of rearranging due to covid, we would like to rearrange in our own time once we know it is safe to travel. poor form from Eurocamp Poor form

Negative experience: Refusing to refund customers due to current issues. Just watched Simon Calder on This Morning. We are entitled to a full refund. The refund should be issued within 14 days due to the law on package holidays. We do not have to accept credit vouchers. Stop this and refund your customers

Fantastic experience: Excellent in respect to providing a refund over the cancellation of our planned trip this April. Sent an email asking if we would like a full refund or a credit exceeding the booking value. we opted for the refund which was paid back onto our credit card within a week. I wish other companies could have such prompt and good customer service.
