Fantastic experience: First time with virgin and they couldn't do enough to help especially when our original flight git cancelled due to the bad weather. They booked us onto another flight the following day and extended our stay at the hotel we thought we'd loose a night with. Five

Fantastic experience: great way to relax before your flight with a check in at the v room. relax with an alcoholic beverage or have a complementary breakfast with hot and cold beverages at the ready. my only snag with this is keep an eye on the departure board as they dont announce it within the lounge area.

Negative experience: For having an upper class ticket I wouldve expected more options on food and drink. Somewhere more comfortable to sit would have been good too. Lounge was very small also... Not what I expected.

Fantastic experience: Turned up to the V lounge Manchester and Julie (the house keeper) was incredible. She was so polite and so kind and helped us with whatever we needed. Staff members like that (especially at that time in the morning 8:00am!!) are what you need to start your holiday amazing. She made my holiday begin! Felt like a true VIP!

Positive experience: A good sized lounge in T2 of Manchester Airport, for those flying on Virgin services. On the day we went, there were only two flights, meaning the lounge was quiet and the staff very attentive to our needs. Free food and soft drinks were welcome and saved on a hotel breakfast, with alcohol as an extra at standard airport prices. Costing £25 per person, we got our money's worth when you consider the cost of food and drink at an airport and it started out holiday off in the best possible way.

We got this as part of a deal when we booked our holiday and would consider paying for it. It is a relaxing way to start your holiday with the high standard you would expect from Virgin.

Positive experience: Customer Service was brilliant. Didn't have much to eat - mainly due to nerves of flying. The air conditioning didn't seem to be on that day so we were absolutely roasting. The entertainment didn't seem up to much for our 3 children ages 7, 5 and 3. Overall, it didn't seem to be worth the money paid for it. Just for the privilege to sit some where a little less busy.

Positive experience: We got free access to the lounge as part of an offer when booking the holiday. It's better than staying in the main terminal but not by a huge amount and definitely not worth paying for in my view. Breakfast was pretty grim, especially terrible coffee and the cooked breakfast was inedible. At least there was some fresh fruit. The lounge isn't massive and as most of the customers had kids it was quite noisy so not really condusive to relaxing. The staff were very nice which was definitely a positive.

Fantastic experience: This is a great start to any holiday. The welcome friendly and the staff even more so. My only gripe and it's a small one but maybe it's me . The map in my opinion just needs to be a bit more clearer telling you to walk through duty free. But this does not detract from the V Room service.

Fantastic experience: The food and drink available make the start of your holiday top quality. There's free wifi, several gaming devices such as an xbox, many TV sets and most importantly the staff are incredibly friendly and will cater to your every need. If you're in need of a quick fix of food I would ask the chef for a sausage butty. World class if you ask me.

Fantastic experience: The staff here make sure that your holiday gets off to a great start. Very relaxing and a great selection of food, drink, magazines etc. ( Alcoholic drinks are available, but you have to pay for these). A must do if you are flying with Virgin Atlantic.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, food is ok, wouldn't expect anything mind blowing but since you can eat/drink (alcohol is not free) as much as you would like it was never going to be. You can also do your skip the counter car hire here to get some holiday tips. Much better than just the regular airport lounge.
