Our comment from TraTraTravel UK about loveholidays:

Loveholidays is an online travel agency that aims to provide a straightforward booking experience paired with competitive prices. Many users appreciate the site's ease of use and the wide variety of holiday packages available. Highlights of Loveholidays include:

  • Easy-to-navigate website for booking holidays.
  • Competitive pricing, with some customers noting price matching when a better deal is found elsewhere.
  • Flexible payment options that make vacations more accessible.
  • Good communication updates leading up to travel dates.

However, despite the positive feedback, there have been numerous complaints regarding customer service and booking issues. These concerns include:

  • Customer Service Limitations: Many users reported difficulty in reaching customer support, with long wait times and unhelpful responses.
  • Booking Problems: Several travelers faced issues upon arrival at their destinations, including hotels not honoring reservations or significant discrepancies in service expectations.
  • Refund Challenges: Customers expressed frustration over getting refunds or resolving issues related to cancellations, often citing a lack of communication from the company.

In conclusion, while Loveholidays offers an appealing range of holiday options and an easy booking process, potential customers should be mindful of the reported challenges with customer support and booking reliability.

Negative experience: This is the worst holiday agent EVER, if l could put 0 star reviews I would. Do avoid at all cost. Upon arriving at the airport at 12:07, we encountered immediate difficulties with the check-in process for our luggage. Despite having valid payment confirmations from both Wizz Air and Loveholidays, we were erroneously informed that our luggage was not paid for. We were asked by the first Air Travel Assistant to contact Lovehoildays at 12:30pm, when this led to a protracted and stressful ordeal, as we were forced to spend over 25 minutes on the phone with Loveholidays to rectify the issue from 12:48pm Once Loveholidays confirmed that we had made the payment for the 20kgs. The second Air Travel Assistant called Anisha, ignored us for a good 20 minutes and pretended to be on the phone and looking at the system. When she stated to help us this was now 13:11pm. After considerable effort, we were eventually able to resolve the payment discrepancy, but only by incurring additional charges of £113.50. However, our troubles did not end there. After this Anisha refused to complete our checking in and asked us to be seen by the third Air Travel Assistance who refused to give us her name who was asian with clear glasses and a black head scarf. We were then informed that our original Wizz Air luggage, which had already been checked in, required further payment due to a purported cancellation. This additional charge of £61 was levied despite no evidence of a refund being processed. We showed her proof of payment from our online banking. We made this payment at 13:32pm. This is when the fourth Air Travel Assistant, who was meant to escort us through the security checks. We were compelled to make hasty decisions under immense pressure. With time rapidly running out, and our flight scheduled to depart at 14:05pm. We were instructed to rush through security, a daunting task with two young children, one of whom was an infant. Unfortunately, due to a series of miscommunications and unforeseen delays, we were unable to pass security checks at the point the boarding pass we had added to our wallet refused us entry to security checks, this was now 13:35pm where the flight gates were closing. At 13:36pm my husband then went back down to Wizz Check in desk to ask for the support from the fourth Air Travel Assistant, who was meant to escort us through was serving another customer at this point. My husband came back with the escort at 13:48pm to allow us entry through security checks. The fourth Air Travel Assistant then disappeared, were left alone to the make the security checks and walk to find the gate which was located at gate 27, the screen was showing the gates closed at the point, while were making our way through to the gate 27. The ensuing chaos and confusion caused significant distress to our family, particularly our young children. Additionally, a concerning incident involving a stranger making physical contact with our son further exacerbated our anxiety and fear. We have filed a police report in relation to this matter. We are seeking a full and fair resolution to this matter, including reimbursement for all unnecessary expenses incurred and compensation for the significant emotional distress and inconvenience suffered. We believe that the series of errors and miscommunications on the part of Wizz Air and Loveholidays were entirely avoidable and unacceptable. We would like to be either checked on the next flight and fix our hotel transfer and our hotel booking to last us the length of the time we had originally booked our holiday for. We trust that you will take immediate steps to investigate this matter and provide a satisfactory resolution. We look forward to your prompt response as the next available flight is scheduled to leave on Saturday 14th of December 2024, which is not fully booked. I'm also going to leave a review on all you websites to inform customers and of the experience we faced.

Negative experience: Stay right clear of Loveholidays! We had booked a holiday for this Christmas in New York, well in advance! However, we quickly found out that we wouldn’t be able to make the trip, as my wife couldn’t get her visa in time. I called these guys and told them about our situation- and they suggest we find an alternative location, so we did. We chose Punta Cana. (we also tried to postpone the trip for Chrismas next year, but holidays can only be booked 10 months in advance). Days goes by and I hear nothing back from their “ amendments team” and I call them again. Within an hour I received a “new holiday” with our new chosen destination. And here’s the kicker - with stopover in New York! (The must be having a laugh) I email the guy back and once again tell about my wife’s visa issue - and he writes back saying, it’s the first time he hears of it!!! (I do ask if their phone calls are not recorded? No reply) Then he sends some destinations I can choose from with United Airlines, majority of those doesn’t fly on our given days or I could choose a flight to Australia or New Zealand and put my 5 year old on a 36 hour travel hell all for a 6 nights holiday - no thank you. He then sends another holiday option - we just have to pay a substantial amount extra - nearly £3000 on top, errmm no thank you! I then tell Loveholidays to cancel our trip altogether, as this doesn't make financial sense whatsoever. They then ask for almost £1900 as our flights are "non-refundable" I then write them again - and says: are you telling me, that United Airlines can't resell our tickets, this well in advance - at this point there's more than a month to our travel date. Again no reply! Few days go by, still no word from Loveholidays. I then call United Airlines (quite costly phone call) their representative tells me that the tickets can be cancelled and refunded, but only by Loveholidays. We then get patched through to Loveholidays and gets told, that the tickets can't be refunded, as they are booked through a third party - I ask if I can get the name of this third party and some contact details, so I can explain our situation myself and why we unfortunately, couldn't go on our trip. He tells me, that he can't give me those informations! Nor is he willing to contact them to cancel our flights. I then call United Airlines again and they confirm that it is in fact Loveholidays who booked the flights and they alone can cancel our tickets - no third party etc. She also tells me, if needed I can get a transcript of our conversation - as this can serve as proof that the representatives from Loveholidays are lying and just wants to collect money from flights, if you all the sudden can't travel. Luckily enough, we didn't pay for the entire holiday upfront, but only a smaller deposit - Loveholidays are currently franticly trying to get more money withdrawn from my account, which I have blocked. I’m not supporting thieves. I will definitely NOT be using their ‘services” ever again.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend using love holidays to book your holiday. Excellent customer service, competitive prices (they will price match if you can find the holiday cheaper) and loads of choice to suit any taste. I especially like the payment options which makes the holiday affordable.

Negative experience: recently booked a trip to Portugal through Loveholidays, scheduled to depart on April 7, 2025. The initial booking cost was £1540.75. However, due to unforeseen work commitments, I needed to change the dates just two days after making the booking. I requested new dates from March 24 to March 28, 2025. A week later, I received an email with a new quote, but to my surprise, it was for a completely different destination—Athens—and the cost had skyrocketed to £3522.00. This was a staggering 128.59% increase from my original booking. I immediately contacted customer service to understand why my trip had been changed to Athens and why the cost had increased so dramatically. The customer service representative was unhelpful and insisted that I would be liable for a cancellation fee of £1024.59 if I chose to cancel the trip. I requested a refund of my £58 deposit and the cancellation of the entire trip, but they refused. I informed them that I would report the issue to the ABTA ombudsman. In my opinion, everyone should stay away from this company. They are running a scam, ripping customers off by charging exorbitant prices for trips that should cost significantly less. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Please avoid these scammers at all costs.

Negative experience: We have bought our honeymoon to Maldives ( it was very very expensive trip) But my wife get cancelled visa , and officers propose to me: you can stay and your wife come back to London or you together back. Sure I could not live my wife, 20 h flight to ways, awful mood and we lose lots of money. this company did not help us in any way and did not return any money. I can’t recommend this company

Positive experience: LoveHolidays is one of the best travel agents allowing payment installments to spread across the year. However, changing holiday destination without being charged extra costs to flights is the only point of contention in the policy agreement.

Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE Customer Service at LoveHoliday doesn’t work at all. I was a loyal customer of this company for many years and used their services multiple times for my holidays. In fact, all the holidays I’ve taken in the past few years were booked through LoveHoliday. Their Price Match Guarantee was one of the main reasons I kept choosing their services. Unfortunately, after the recent situation where I encountered my first problem, no one was able to help me. I booked a holiday through them and found the exact same trip—same flights and parameters—offered by a competitor on the same day for £500 less. I immediately contacted them because of their Price Match Guarantee, but my request was denied. The reasoning was absurd, as the only excuse given was that I didn’t provide the proper screenshots to confirm the price difference. This was a lie, as I had provided the screenshots. However, due to a technical issue on their website, I couldn’t upload more than one screenshot, and no one was able to assist further. Even though I had 24 hours to address the issue, I repeatedly called and wrote to them. Every time, I was reassured that everything was fine and that the price difference would certainly be refunded. Yet, this never happened. After countless discussions, no one could help me at all. This company has been a huge disappointment for me. If you can, use a competitor, because LoveHoliday is simply not worth it.

Negative experience: I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience with Loveholidays has been. My flight was booked for the 2nd of November, but just days before, on the 29th of October, I received an email from them stating that my hotel was closed and that I would be moved to a different hotel. To make matters worse, this new hotel was 40 minutes away from the original one, meaning I would no longer be staying with my friends, who had booked the same holiday and were not informed of any changes. I immediately requested a cancellation and a full refund, as the whole point of my holiday was to be with my friends. Loveholidays told me they couldn't refund the flights, only the hotel. I agreed to that, asking for a quick refund on the hotel so I could make my own accommodation arrangements. Days went by with no response, and by the time my flight was approaching, I still had no confirmation or clarity. On the day of my flight, I called Loveholidays several times, and each time I was given different, contradictory answers. One advisor promised a full refund, but it never came. When I followed up, they denied any promise had been made. Their customer service is a nightmare—slow, unhelpful, and full of lies. I was left feeling completely abandoned, with no place to stay in a foreign country, and as a result, I suffered a significant mental health breakdown. The stress and frustration from dealing with Loveholidays ultimately landed me in A&E. This whole experience has ruined what was supposed to be a joyful trip. Not only have I lost money, but the emotional toll has been devastating. I would strongly advise against booking with Loveholidays. Their lack of communication, dishonesty, and disregard for customer well-being has left me feeling utterly betrayed.

Negative experience: worst company to book holidays with! They cannot compensate for a problem on their side but demand money for everything that they need ASAP! never book with them! We was put into a room with other people and love holidays stated that they could not do anything about it even though evidence was given! They do not have any way to contact them no email address just a number where they do not help! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! You're better off booking with TUI or any other company than this crap one!

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Scotland with Love Holidays and found it to be an excellent choice for affordable couple’s travel. The hotels offered in this price range were exceptional, exceeding our expectations in quality and comfort. The booking process was quick and straightforward, and when we encountered a minor issue with a misspelling in my wife’s name, it was promptly resolved by their team. Overall, I am very satisfied with the efficiency and service provided by Love Holidays. They will definitely be my top choice for future travel around the world. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Loveholidays turned our family trip to Gandia into a nightmare. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hotel was unsafe and unsanitary: filthy rooms, broken bathrooms, and hazardous pool areas. Our son even suffered injuries due to the deplorable conditions. The environment was not only uncomfortable but outright dangerous. When flooding meant we needed an early transfer, we spent four days trying to reach Loveholidays, only to be met with inactive phone numbers and zero help. Loveholidays left us stranded and unsupported, showing complete disregard for our safety and well-being. Loveholidays clearly does not prioritize customer care or safety. We demand a full refund and compensation for this appalling experience. Avoid Loveholidays at all costs if you want a safe and stress-free holiday.

Negative experience: Love holidays think it’s acceptable to send people to what frankly looks like a war zone. Spent 16hrs driving round and being diverted. Had to park up and sleep in the car and book the next flight home. We asked if it was safe to travel to Spain after seeing the news which they replied our travel wouldn’t be unaffected. This company’s lack of duty of care for its customers is embarrassing. They are now refusing to refund us. Save yourself the hassle and don’t book with them.

Negative experience: APPALLING BEHAVIOUR. A week before celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary in Barbados, mum sadly passed away. Obviously this meant we would have to defer our celebration. We contacted Love Holidays who asked us to commit to another date. We said now isn’t the time but ‘any time next year’ would be okay. They explained we would have to or lose all our money. So we picked a date in January but explained we wouldn’t be going then. This cost £25, no problem so far. Three days later they came back to say that date wasn’t available, again we said any date would be fine. They insisted we gave them three more dates. On the day of mums funeral they once again came back saying all those dates were not available. I explained today was mums funeral again they explained that they understood but we would lose the full amount of our booking if we didn’t give 3 more dates. We even said given their booking issues we would go to the Paphos as well as Barbados as an alternative, three days later whilst grieving they once again returned to say those dates were not available in either destination. Doubting this we rang the Mango Bay Beach Resort Hotel in Barbados directly and were told, ’yes’ definitely, the rooms we requested on those dates were available. We called Love Holidays who disagreed with our findings. By now the idea of celebration has completely disappeared. We rang to get through to ‘Customer Complaints Department’ but it seems Love Holidays don’t have one! You guessed it, we were asked once again for three more dates. Three days later we received another call ‘yes we have a room at the Mango Bay Beach hotel on one of the dates. Great we’ll book it. However as the conversation developed yes we had a room but not the specification we had booked for our Anniversary it was much less and by a road. It was also a little more expensive. When we crunched the numbers and realsied it was 40% more or an additional £1,700!! We once again complained and eventually they said our issue had been escalated (not sure who to?). Two weeks passed with no feed back. I called them back again and the gentleman told me he had asked for this issue to be given more focus. That was seven days ago…NOTHING. All we want is a room of the same spec as originally requested any date next year (and is available according to the hotel) or a different destination, again we have given them all the details and dates for an alternative destination, for roughly the original budget we gave them. Or if this is not possible we understand, please return our monies whichever suits Love Holidays best. Their behaviour and lack of empathy at such an emotional time for ourselves has been appalling and incredibly upsetting… and it is still continuing. They are happy to take your money but not happy to help. DONT, DONT, trust this company. They are not a Travel Agent in the true sense of the word but an intermediary. I’ll let you know if this gets resolved, but in the meantime we will be taking our issue to other social channels to warn others. We have now taken legal advice and will be taking it further. Negative experience: Awful company, our flights were cancelled by the airline, they made no attempt to get in touch with alternatives, I had to chase them as I could see other options available.then they just emailed saying we are cancelling your holiday. Impossible to actually talk to a person who can help, will never book with them again. Appalling customer service

Negative experience: I originally booked a holiday to Tunisia for 5 people, total cost £3100. Due to some security concerns from female passengers I decided to amend to go to Spain instead. I followed their procedure and re-booked the flights with EasyJet and paid them the cost of change directly. I chose a new hotel and was then charged a total holiday price of £4,383.88. Exactly the same holiday with the same hotel and same configuration was available on the loveholidays site for £3052.57 at exactly the same time. I phoned up to query and they gave some excuse about 'live' prices - but those two prices were available at the same time. I would expect to be charged a reasonable amount to switch but this is completely unacceptable. Bear in mind that they will fleece you and not care for such amendments. There is no good reason for such a charge when the same holiday is available for so much less at the same time I would not book with them again, left a really sour taste for a family holiday that I was really looking forward to I did a web chat with someone, no help whatsoever and then they just cut me off, customer service is atrocious The way they lead you through the hotel change is very sly. They get you to pick a hotel first and you would reasonably expect that the price will be what you see on the website. They then get you to change your flights directly with the airline and confirm that you have done that (which of course means paying more money to the airline direct). Only then do they present the inflated hotel price. So then you are stuck. You either need to lose money by paying the inflated price or cancel altogether meaning losing everything

Negative experience: HOLIDAYS FROM HELL. DO NOT BUY IT FOR ANY PRICE The hell unfolded day before our departure from Turkey when we have been thrown out of Justiniano Park Conti hotel, together with 2 kids. Hotel has not even tried to find an alternative accommodation for us, even though I was prepared to pay once again for this last day. Hotel staff advised that their agent LoveHoledays did not have dates correct and hotel is not liable for any errors of their agent and does not entertain any complaints. We have spent 9 hours on sofas in a lobby. ordered and paid for transfer. On arrival to Antalya airport we have learnt that our tickets been cancelled 2 weeks ago by LoveHoledays. LoveHoledays next day were claiming tickets been cancelled by TA (Turkish Airlines). TA said LoveHoleday should have sent you notification. We have got no notifications either by text or email. Unbelievable. We have arrived 3 hours in advance of our flight. So guess what TA hucksters has come up with for solution – to sell us my own seats on this plane once again. This time for 2800 euro. "Perfect" business plan - refuse you to board, dumping you and kids at the airport at 1.00 a.m in a morning, make extra 2800 euros and blame it all on their dodgy, miki mouse agent LoveHoledays. It is a swindle. The staff at TA desk has poor English and do not catch half of conversation. Manager said TA complaint department has no contact details - no email address and no telephone number. Not only they screwed us for hotel and flights, but they also made us travel 100km to the airport with kids at midnight, because TA or their agents do not even bother to send you notification that they have cancelled your tickets 2 weeks ago. I bought direct tickets with SunExpress from my smartphone, for 848 euros, more then 3 times cheaper. TA swindlers been offering me their 2800 euro tickets with 1 stop in Istanbul. In a morning I have called LoveHoledays and went through full details security check, like in a bank. The lady on phone could not speak English properly. I asked for manager, or to get me transferred to one of her colleagues, but my request was refused. She put me on hold and after 7-8 minutes on hold she hang up. We went through all this "identification" rubbish again and another operator could barely speak English as well. She advised there is no manager and there is no email address for complaints. She also advised that TA should have sent me notification of my ticket cancellation. We were told that TA has clause in their Terms and conditions allowing them to cancel return tickets, when passengers did not board forward flight 2 weeks ago. I have asked why LoveHoledays did not advised us about cancellation 3 weeks ago, when we had to buy forward tickets from other airline, because LoveHoledays, would not want to reschedule our flight. The lady on phone did not have any reason for it. LoveHoledays was well aware we are in Turkey. Accommodation is part of their package. They knew we checked into hotel. They spoke to us when we have been thrown out of the hotel one day earlier. And on all these occasions they failed to notify us that our return tickets are cancelled 2 weeks ago. Neither TA, Justiniano or LoveHoledays has apologized. On top of it LoveHoledays said what they did is “normal”. Please do not buy anything from LoveHoledays mob. I will never buy travel package from any mediators or travel agencies again, regardless how cheap it is. Buy directly from the hotel or airlines, otherwise it is a lottery. Cowboys like LoveHoledays will leave you on a street with small children, at midnight, in a middle of nowhere and would not even try to offer you any solution. In fact you would not even be able to register a complaint as their complaint department has no email address and their people on phone do not speak English

Negative experience: We have booked an all.inclusive hotel for Bali, Indonesia, only to arrive and find out the hotel is not actually all inclusive and charged for all drinks, mineral water etc. Also meals were a la carte and not full course with only 2 dishes allowed. Upon confronting them they have refused a partial refund of the all inclusive fee and did not collaborate considering their deceitful practices and advertising it as an all inclusive. Avoid booking with them.

Negative experience: We booked a holiday package from Love Holiday to Istanbul from the 2nd to 9th August 2024, which includes breakfast and swimming pool as advertised on the website and the name of the hotel is Taba Luxury Hotel and Spa in Besiktas. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told there’s no swimming pool and the hotel is in a valley, the breakfast was horrible, stale bread and they refused to give us fried eggs after asking for several days they gave us one plate to share before the 4 of us. They also gave us dirty and worn out towels, despite the fact that we are 4, they gave us 3 (see pictures), there’s also no mini market as advertised. When we complained to them, they said “me no English”, meanwhile they claim the receptionists speak English. Don’t trust the adverts on Love Holidays, they don’t do their due diligence, they are the not interested in your hard earned money. They don’t have high speed internet, it’s pure lie. Don’t trust Love Holidays See pictures

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs..... Shocking agents. Do not use...... You will have the holiday from hell. They are no longer a part of the ABTA, TTA or the global travel group. So you will not get help with anything. They give you a price and take your deposit, then spend a week trying to get that holiday at a cheaper price. They couldn't get the rooms we booked so put us in economy rooms, but we had to say our kids are adults? As soon as they mentioned that, we guessed that this company is not above board, so we asked for our deposit back. To which he said I have already booked it now so we have to cancel and pay cancellation charge!!! Will update as the case goes on.

Negative experience: Anything to avoid price match! I found the holiday package £50 cheaper elsewhere and they are giving me every excuse under the sun to avoid price matching even though I provided all the details they needed, because the room type on the other site stated one bedroom apartment and theirs stated apartment with balcony (all rooms come with a balcony btw) they are rejecting it! absolutely TERRIBLE service and would avoid them at all costs.

Negative experience: Love Profit, NOT Holidays. // Absolutely disgusting experience // Just off the phone after 3 hours on the phone to an overseas call centre (yet the sales team are UK based - go figure). Booked a holiday on Tuesday for the following Tuesday, received confirmation to say they are on it. It's now Saturday, three days before the flight and I'm on a call with customer service agents who tell me they cannot book the flights as there are none available. At no point did I get a phone call to discuss options and with holidays prices now too late to book - I have no other option to cancel. With other options 2k more there were only willing to pay £500 towards this. They were aware of the flight issue 24 hours after the booking but did not call at any point to discuss options. Had they called sooner, I could have made other plans. They also said that my booking was a priority but said there was a call scheduled but of course they would say that. Its absolutely disgusting this level of customer service when there is a segment of customers who book late. Why there are no provisions or protocols on this is beyond me. I'm left to tell the heart breaking news to my kids that we aren't getting away. It is hands down the poorest experience I've ever had. When you have paid a considerable sum of money there's a requisite level of service and experience you expect. I can't stress how awful this experience has been. The worst part of the whole experience is other customers could book the exact same hotel and flights the day before my call. (Friday) - which means there are others in the same boat as me. You buy Google ad space so you're at the top of searches. Your social media profile says "We sort the holiday, you just pack the bags". Heartbroken doesn't even touch the sides of how I am feeling. Absolutely rotten organisation.

Fantastic experience: I booked a family holiday through liveholidays to Lisbon for my whole family of 6 , from booking to the hotel we stayed at everything was perfect I have booked 5 holidays through them since .

Negative experience: Awful holiday experience, never use this company. From additional hidden charges just 5-6hrs before flight at check in (£422 extra) for an all inclusive holiday. To a hotel (4 star) surrounded by a massive and noisy building site (9 large cranes, carries, cement mixers etc), to food with maggots in it, to broken door lock etc. Staff unhelpful and general food poor. No love holiday rep available onsite or anywhere near, only a telephone line, which was not always helpful.

Positive experience: So far have been quite impressed with Loveholidays, the booking transaction was quite straightforward and the price very competitive, the only downside so far is that our return transfer is from another hotel, dont think its far, but with 3 kids, one with problems and grandpa with a pacemaker and me with only half my left lung, could be a problem, wish id realized the pickup wasnt from our hotel, however will be speaking to loveholidays about it, looking forward to the short break and hope loveholidays continue to impress

Negative experience: Poor service and company, booked a holiday with them early this year but unfortunately my partner was unable to fly due to medical reasons, applied for a refund through thire refund policy and I've been blanked for the past 4 months even though endless contacting them emails, phone calls . I've been giving contradicting statements from staff and refund team. Worst experience with a travel agents infact I would prefer to call them crooks as its definitely more fitting in my opinion. I would advise everyone to avoide this company at Any cost...

Negative experience: They are scammers. When you book they put you through nice and polite people that answer the call fast, all trying to get your money, but wait to have an issue. They put you on wait for hours,no one picks up to deal with complaints ,they actually said they don’t have a complaint department (never heard of such thing)refusing to give the refunds and put up with the lowest quality customer service. They don’t know anything about anything ,they pass to one another and all have different story. Worse agencyI have ever came across in my life.Don’t let yourself taken by cheap holiday. You play double on trying to rebook last minute .They have and take no responsibility whatsoever to any cancellation or refund or changes to your holidays. They don’t offer compensation in fact there’s no one to complain to. We spent 3 day to reach out to them with no success on solving our problem. The last person we spoke to she was very rude, clearing her throat on the call making all sorts of noiseswithout even apologising that we were dying to explain what happened and how to solve this. She was completely ruthless,no empathy towards us consideration that we lost thousands on holidays we never used.. Awful how they we were treated. Awful speaking on the phone awful dealing with these people. Absolutely awful behaviour .

Negative experience: I bought a travel package including flight, hotel and private transfer. They sent me an atol protection certificate which states my travel plan is under the protection. My flight has 8 hours delay so I could not catch my private transfer because the transfer supplier can wait only one hour delay. Jet2 compensates only for flight tickets and does not compensate for private transfers as it is stated in their terms. The travel supplier is not responsible because it is due to a delay in the flight. I asked for compensation from Loveholidays because it is a part of protection coverage but they rejected my request. I told them I had got an atol protection certificate. I advise everyone never to buy holiday plans from Loveholidays! They expect compensation from their supplier and they do not hold responsibility. This was the second time I purchased a travel package from this company and I will never buy it again.

Negative experience: My daughter and a group of friends booked a holiday in Malia. Due to a serious medical condition we paid extra for private airport transfer. Upon arrival at Heraklion these “transfers” didn’t exist. Told to get on a coach which was delayed by 3 hours. Ended up having to pay 50 Euros for a private taxi. Disgusting customer service. Positive experience: On June 3rd, I received an email from Loveholidays stating that my hotel partner had filed for insolvency. The email assured me that another partner would honor my booking and that I did not need to take any action. Trusting this assurance, I did not cancel my holiday. However, I needed to confirm my new accommodation to amend my separate transfers. Despite contacting Loveholidays multiple times from 6 AM until just before boarding my flight, I received no resolution. A representative advised me to proceed to the Liberty Resort Hotel, assuring me they would inform the hotel of my arrival. Upon arrival at 10:30 PM, the hotel had no record of my reservation. Due to language barriers, I was driven aimlessly around Tunisia, feeling unsafe, and eventually dropped at the Skanes Family Hotel around midnight. Unable to communicate with the driver, I returned to Liberty at 1 AM, where I had to sleep on the reception sofa until 2 AM when I was offered a room in the Neptunia Hotel. The next morning, without data roaming and unable to use the hotel's phone, I relied on friends in the UK to contact Loveholidays, who faced repeated disconnections. At 9:30 AM, Loveholidays contacted me, but the call used all my phone credit despite assurances it was free. The representative refused to call the hotel directly, and the call ended without resolution. I learned the Liberty Hotel required payment again, despite my initial payment to Loveholidays. I had insufficient funds and had to borrow money from a friend. The hotel attempted to charge me £32,567.85 before requesting a bank transfer, which failed, forcing me to withdraw cash. During this process, my card was swallowed by an ATM, adding to my stress. Moreover, the hotel was advertised with air conditioning, a necessity for my medical condition, edema. Upon arrival, the hotel refused to turn it on, causing my ankles to swell and making it difficult to walk for two days. Only after seeing my condition did they provide an air-conditioned room for the last two days of my stay. Had I known the hotel would not provide air conditioning, I would never have booked. I request the following reimbursements: £20 GBP for the first night at Neptunia Hotel. £342 GBP for the payment made to Liberty Resort Hotel. £7.50 GBP for the phone call. £30 GBP for taxi fares. Additionally, I request compensation for the severe distress, anxiety, and disruption caused by Loveholidays' failure to honor the booking and ensure my safety. As a single woman traveling alone, the lack of support was unacceptable. Your assurances to continue my trip were misleading and resulted in a ruined holiday experience. I am incredibly disappointed by how Loveholidays handled my situation. I expect a prompt response, full reimbursements, and additional compensation for the ruined holiday. My compensation was 0 pounds

Negative experience: For context, when we had went on holiday, one of their providers had solved for insolvency. A lot of others were in the same situation as ourselves. Love Holidays is great when there is no issues with the flights, hotel or transfers. Most of my friends have booked with them before and it went really well, however it doesn’t have enough support for when there are problems with bookings. We booked in January with no issues, we had all confirmation emails and were all sorted to go. The night before our holiday, the agency sent an email to us all stating that ‘a provider has solved for insolvency, but don’t worry we are sorting out the accommodation, continue your travel plans as normal’. The morning after we had all called the company first thing in the morning, trying to get an answer on what the issue was as well as what accommodation we would be staying in. We were told 3 different things, first we was told they don’t have any idea what’s going on yet but will get in touch when they do. Secondly, we were told that we might have to stay at an alternative accommodation and the last call we made, we was informed that there was no issues and the hotel we booked is the hotel we would still stay in. Again, reinforcing the idea of continuing our journey and there would be no problems. Although we were skeptical, we went to the airport, got the plane and went to our destination. When we got to the hotel, we was told our accommodations was cancelled as Love Holidays didn’t send the money we had paid them to the hotel. All payments was paid in full at the time in January, but they hadn’t received our money at all. As the hotel wouldn’t take anyone in without paying, we had to spend an additional £550 to book our rooms again. Neither the hotel or Love Holidays had sent any communication stating that there could be a problem when arriving. It was at midnight, if the accommodation did not take us in, we would’ve been left stranded. Next morning we got on call again to the agency to ask what had happened as well as issue a refund to us. Each call took over an hour before we got to an agent and people outside the group trying to help us had took over 2-3 hours to reach someone. Explaining the situation, we was told that the provider had solved for insolvency, received an apology and issued us a refund. Money didn’t come back till 3-4 days later, which is standard, but didn’t help as it was majority of our travel money that had to be used which caused a disruption to our holiday. The company is a great concept and works majority of the time, but they don’t have the support needed in situations such as this. Even if they communicated more to us, warning that there would be an issue when we had arrived or anything else. Recommend for easy access to holidays, but ensure the packages have ATOL as well as travel insurance. Call the hotels and transfers before going to make sure there is no issues as well.

Fantastic experience: Have booked my first holiday with loveholidays, and look forward to a hassle free break away with my family. Review to be updated in due course. So far so good, and the online assistance has been excellent *Edited now we're back in the UK* We've had an amazing time away. Had all the useful updates/emails from loveholidays and the airline throughout that has helped us have a hassle free holiday.

Negative experience: PLEASE READ the negative reviews to fully understand how this company operate. The positive reviews (assuming they are genuine!?!) are not from people who have had an issue. If all goes well, you have been lucky. If anything goes wrong, you can truly judge Love Holidays for yourself and, believe me, you will never run the risk of using them again. They are unaccountable, unregulated and untrustworthy.

Negative experience: The Loveholiday is there not to help you for a lovely holiday, instead it is a company of chaos and problems to your holiday. I booked through their website and they send me their pdf confirmation. We went to the airport, the airline said the booking is declined. Thank you Loveholidays we trusted you to book the flight why we paid through your company to add troubles to our holiday 2 days now from our flight day and they did not help us to get another flight or a refund. We waste our time and call fees to explain what they did!!! And they said we will help you we will refund you … We still have hope and waiting for their refund We also asked them just give us a coupon with our fees to rebook through your lovely website… hope this solve our problem at least get something even a local 2 days trip!!!!!!!!!!

Negative experience: Terrible Experience with Loveholidays - Avoid at All Costs! I recently had a horrendous experience with Loveholidays that I want to share to warn others. I booked a family holiday to Turkey for £10,050, which was a significant amount of money. After 48 hours, not only did I not receive a confirmation, but I was also told that the price had gone up by an additional £2,350. This is outrageous and completely unacceptable. After taking my money, Loveholidays informed me about the price increase, which felt like a blatant attempt to con me. I had to call their customer service, which took around 45 minutes to get through. When I finally spoke to someone, they were extremely rude and unhelpful, insisting that I had to pay the extra amount due to a price increase. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This company tried to rob us of our hard-earned money. I immediately contacted my bank to try to get my money back and included a recording of the conversation as proof. Loveholidays does not provide any assistance or support. They don't even have a proper email for customer service, making it nearly impossible to resolve issues. Because of them, I have lost my summer holiday and am now struggling to get my money back. Please avoid booking with Loveholidays at all costs. They are unreliable, unhelpful, and seem to be running a scam to exploit customers. Save yourself the trouble and book with a more reputable company. Booking reference: LOV8112958U Stay away from Loveholidays and save your holiday and money!

Negative experience: Problem Holidays If I could give "0" Star Feedback I would have. I’ve booked a holiday for July this year (2024) for 7 nights in New York for myself and my daughter who‘s just recovered from 3 years of cancer treatment. On the booking form it stated „ Double Bed / Twin bed or King size Bed“ I choose that option as I & my daughter are ok with a Twin bed room & obviously, the other options were not suitable. I paid in full, the booking confirmation defaulted to King size bed. I went on „ Manage my booking“ as their AI robot said I’d be able to change my room choice without a problem…that failed. After countless emails to the hotel and more phone calls to Love holidays.. it seems like no one from Love Holidays is prepared now to actually give us the option of a twin room, because they said; the hotel does not actually have twin rooms available ( I‘m now shaking my head in disbelief) I‘ve been onto the hotel again..who said all they need is an email from Love holidays to change the room to a Twin Room. I’ve spent hours with the Love Holidays customer service asking for a simple room change and got nowhere. They were very quick to take my money but unwilling to do anything when I asked them to give me the option that I selected. Never again! ………………………,,,,,,,,,,,,,.,,,,,,,,,, This holiday company is hopeless! Now they‘ve informed me that I can change the hotel & room that I‘ve booked with them for a love holidays admin fee of £25 plus and extra £500+ for choosing another hotel. - If there‘s anybody reading this - Please don‘t book with Love Holidays.

Negative experience: This company is dreadful. They may be cheap but they are not ABTA protected and it’s not worth taking the risk. They told me today they have no complaints department and any escalation to a manger (to rectify their own mistake) would take ‘72 hours’.

Negative experience: The absolute worst travel agent you are ever likely to come across ( and believe me I've used loads of travel agents ). I booked a holiday for me & my girlfriend and then had to cancel for medical reasons. I provided everything they asked for , doctors letter & verification of illness & they still refused to refund me the money I had paid. I cancelled it before my last payment was due but they still processed to take payment. They then said I hadn't cancelled but I had & then the deliberately made everything so so difficult. To say the have 'poor" customer service is an understatement, they actually go out they're way to make life difficult as possible for you & the emails they send are deliberately designed to provoke you & to make you annoyed & angry. Now I know for a lot of people that will probably read this will think I am exaggerating lol but I can say this with absolutely certainly & btw I am a straight shooter & not easily aggravated , that this company really are the worst company you could choose to book your holiday / vacation with. I went round and round in circles trying to cancel the holiday in question for a month and through no fault of my own had to lay the full cancellation fee for hotel as they just delayed & delayed & delayed the cancellation process. On top of that they offered no help getting the no show papers from the companies I was flying with & the hotel I was supposed to stay at , telling me that they don't take any part in seeking this information only for me to find out that it is they're responsibility when I contacted each airline company & hotel. Disgraceful company, how they get any business is beyond me and they actually go out they're way to mock you and speak to the customer in such a condescending manner. Lesson learned for moi , never ever ever book a holiday with this absolute cowboy outfit again. TC

Negative experience: Loveholidays are an absolute terribly run company, if issues arise with your holiday their is no way of contacting someone that can resolve any issues. In my case the airline Loveholidays has booked me on have cancelled the flight I just need re-booking on another flight but loveholidays are not handing this issue at all. I've managed to use the online chat people although they can't handle any sort of issue and say await a callback which never happens. Ongoing issue for over 8 weeks. I'm going to have to travel into London and hopefully see someone in person to see if they can resolve the issue. Update: 4 months after posting the original review just to mention we lost £5k on this due to booking with Love Holidays and all the shenanigans they caused. May Half Term Trip did not happen kids were devastated

Negative experience: Twice, TWICE Love Holiday (LH) have messed up my holidays - there will not be a third time. Holiday 1 - LH is not affiliated with the airline so have no direct links. The airline cancelled our flights, but LH didnt let us know. I had to do all the running around to get it sorted but ended up having to go a day later. They didnt compensate us - just repayed the value of 1 day!! Holiday 2 - Needed to change the name of a passenger, did that and realised that they had changed the board basis from All Inclusive to Bed & Breakfast. Utterly impenetrable support - just avoid them

Negative experience: I have today placed a package holiday booking to Crete with this company website. I have carefully read and ensured everything I need has been chosen and added, including 2X20kg hold luggage ( ryanair is the airline). I placed the booking and received a confirmation minutes later. To my shock, on the booking there is no hold luggage so I have paid £80X2 and didn't get the luggage added. I check with Ryanair and no hold luggage there either. I called Loveholiday straight away, and another shock is the call handler told me there is no evidence that I added the luggage. Whilst she was on the phone, I told her I am literally looking at their booking page, and as if I am doing this all over again I chose the added hold luggage and the price quoted there is what I was quoted, and if I remove any hold luggage the price goes down ( I paid the higher price by adding two hold luggage). She replied rudely and abruptly and dismissed everything I said. After asking to put me through to someone more senior or a complain department, she tells me there is no such thing at their company, I re explained my dilemma, as I feel they stole my £160 and I want to cancel the whole holiday so I can go book it elsewhere if I go add the hold luggage now, I will have to do this direct with Ryan air, which will cost me a whopping £240, £60 per 20 kg luggage per person per each way!!). She quotes me cancellation fees that are so high it would be ridiculous for me to cancel now. So I am stuck with these people! They have no complaint email address, there is literally nothing I can do now. I can't believe this happens in a civilised country with all these laws in place to protect the consumers! Honest advice, DO NOT BUY PACKAGE HOLIDAY WITH THEM, dishonest company, blatant thievery totally unacceptable.

Negative experience: Booked a premium long weekend trip to Rome (ref LOV7266239U) There was an issue with the outbound flight, which loveholidays were both unhelpful and unsympathetic about. Why book via an agency if they are going to be no help at all when there is an issue. Disappointed.

Negative experience: Very Disappointing Experience with Love Holiday Company I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience dealing with Love Holiday Company. I made a mistake with my booking and attempted to rectify it by emailing them more than 20 times, requesting adjustments or cancellation. However, despite my repeated efforts, I received no response whatsoever. The lack of communication and support from their team was utterly disappointing. They proved to be utterly useless and failed to address my concerns, causing me significant stress and frustration. I strongly advise against using Love Holiday Company for any travel bookings, as their customer service is abysmal and unreliable.

Fantastic experience: I have total faith in Love Holidays. We have travelled with them to Malta twice and my wife has also used them to go to Kos and we’ve had no issues. Negative experience: Fictitious price points were offered on their website. I paid my deposit I was told that they couldn't confirm my booking and my money would be held for 72 hours in “pending”. They then came back after 72 hours and said I would need to pay an additional 900 Euros for the flights. The incredibly frustrating part of all of this is ,on the same day I could have paid less for the sum of all the parts, but chose to go with a company that is ATOL-protected. I feel this type of false advertising is financial entrapment as the email sent only highlights payment methods( no other alternatives). I assume they just fully expect you to pay any difference to avoid the disappointment of informing your family. A highly disingenuous marketing strategy. I have asked for the complaints department, but I have been refused any details to forward on my concerns.

Negative experience: This company is wholly incompetent. They got 2 name incorrect in our Ryanair booking. When I eventually got through to Customer Services based in South Africa, they said they would correct it. This was after trying to by-pass Sandy the bot which was more time wasting. However, they corrected the incorrect names but never told me (I found out by logging in to Ryanair). But then I discovered they changed my own name (lead passenger) to an incorrect name. This was correct originally. I am now in the process of cancelling this holiday and trying to get my money back. It beggars belief that they cannot even get the basics right. It would have been easier to book the flights myself - at least I would know the names were correct!

Negative experience: NEVER USE THIS COMPANY I just booked a package. I selected a date and price from the calendar. However, once I had paid (in full), I realised they had charged me more than the listed price. Customer service has been terrible just saying 'there's nothing we can do'. Additionally, they don't take you through the usual airline booking steps so we have been assigned separate seats on both flights. On top of that, you pay in full, and your holiday bookings may not even be confirmed for 10 days. Ridiculous practices. Save yourself a lot of hassle and use a reputable company instead.

Negative experience: Dreadful customer service. My elderly parents bought a holiday in Tenerife from Love Holidays and have HATED it so far. Their suitcase was lost in transit and despite spending hours on webchat with Love Holidays trying to track it down, it still hasn't turned up 6 days into their holiday. Meanwhile the '4-star' hotel doesn't seem to have a concierge as the staff can't be bothered to track it down on their behalf either. I've called and spoken to them myself but have had no luck. They've had to go and spend time and extra money buying new clothes, hats and sunscreen etc. The wifi in the hotel doesn't stretch to their room, and is public and therefore insecure. We've had to help them from back here in London to arrange secure access using their own phones which has been really tricky and time consuming as they are in their 80s. My parents are beside themselves with stress which is ridiculous considering they went on holiday to relax in the sun. Absolutely do NOT book with this unscrupulous business. Take your booking elsewhere if you want good customer service as you won't get it here.
