Negative experience: Very poor experience with a package sold by Cruise.co.uk. It was a transatlantic cruise with a Universal Studios stay and a flight back. The cruise was fine, but the transfer from Port Everglades to Orlando was chaotic. Everyone was told to be off the ship and waiting for the coaches by 8.30am. No one from Cruise.co.uk was around to tell us where to wait of give us information. The coaches were meant to depart at 9am, but at 9.15am the had still not shown up. When they did arrive there was no-one to check us in and direct us to a coach. One person seemed to have a list, but he was useless and it was a free for all where everyone had to ask each coach driver in turn whether they were on his coach. We then waited on the coach and did not leave until 10.20am, almost 2 hours after we were told to report for the transfer. This was with little seating and with no refreshments or toilets in the heat of Florida. We also paid extra for a direct flight back to the UK, however, Cruise.co.uk booked us in a budget airline without the full amenities you get on a normal transatlantic flight. They did not make this clear. Had they done so, we would not have accepted that flight. Cruise.co.uk offered us a £50 voucher on a future booking, but we will never book with them again, so we asked for cash. They refused and we made a complaint via ABTA. We should not have wasted our time, as ABTA are just a glorified messenger for complaints and do not hold the companies to account. Think very carefully before booking with Cruise.co.uk as, like us, you may receive very poor service.

Fantastic experience: We booked a cruise with Trevor from cruise.co.uk, for may 25 (cannot wait) absolutely brilliant, answered all my questions clearly, never tried to rush, went over and above to explain everything and helped with picking best rooms available, also saved us money on not booking direct, would definitely recommend speaking to Trevor if you are thinking of cruising.

Fantastic experience: We have had 10 cruises and used Cruise.co.uk since our first cruise in 2010. They are always very efficient, professional, helpful and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Cruise.co.uk for at least 18 years (I think they used to be Victoria Travel) I've never had any major problems with bookings and none made by the company, any 3rd party problems were sorted out promptly by them. Their prices always seem to be among the most attractive and the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. My one criticism that I have only recently noticed is many prices that show as being reduced or as being in a sale have recently been increased only to be reduced for the sale back to what they previously were and many 'up to' discounts are at the end of the day at the very lower end of that discount. However the price is still usually the best anyway.

My initial details were recorded and a cruise specialist telephoned the following day to discuss the holiday in more detail. Debbie ran through all the details and answered any queries I raised. They were happy to email the itinerary and all costs, and agreed to ring later once we had made a decision. Since booking the holiday and paying a deposit, I have received a confirmation email and details of what happens next and when, plus a reassuring copy of the ATOL certificate. Excellent service.

Positive experience: This is a three star review as bit disappointed with the result of call to book a cruise. Called after 5pm in response to a cruise advertised on email received the day before. Told the company the cruise was with ,Emerald were closed for the day and I would receive a call back in the morning from Cruise.co.uk. Next day by lunchtime no call back so phoned again this time to be told that cruise does not exist and it must be a mistake in the advert. Everyone very polite and apparently helpful. However later that day phoned Emerald direct to find cruise does exist and can book it with them directly. Did so and got a good deal. Have used Cruise.co.uk before and will use again but disappointed by this.

Negative experience: This company will not remove my address from their mailing list. They do not have my name they have somebody else's. I have tried repeatedly to get them to stop sending somebody else's brochure to my address but it does not work!!!! Would i ever use this company? Not a chance.

Positive experience: We have booked several cruises with this company over the years and in the past they have been ok. The last trip to Australia and new Zealand was by far the longest and most expensive one. Unfortunately, I found the need to keep chasing certain members of the team regarding information and updates to our circumstances, as communication was awful and unacceptable in my opinion. This was a big trip and needed a lot of planning, some changes to the original booking re flights and hotels, but unfortunately I found them to be totally lacking in the communication department ! Some information in the brochure was incorrect and one of the hotels we were placed in was awful ! It was advertised as a 4 star but was clearly not ! Please be careful and do your research before booking with this company. We won't be using them again ! You shouldn't have to keep chasing people to get answers to your questions, please take a good look at your staff !

Negative experience: Beware of dishonest cruise agency Cruise.co.uk!!! We booked a 15 day cruise from Singapore to Dubai with Royal Caribbean through Cruise.co.uk. As part of our deal, there were 250 USD onboard expenses credit included per cabin. While cruising, we found out that our cruise account wasn't debited as agreed. The RC tells us that our agency (Cruise.co.uk) was responsible for adding the credit, and that we needed to contact them. We have sent two emails to our agent, Tracy Bird, in the last four days, but there has been no reply, though she had been responding even on Sundays while we were booking our cruise. Yesterday we contacted Cruise.co.uk through their website contact form to no avail. There wasn't even any acknowledgment of the receipt of our complaint through the form, and there is no direct email available that you can use to contact them. Calling to the UK from the ship from the opposite part of the world is not an option, and I don't believe that phone communication is a reliable means of getting proof with such a company. While our cruise time is running out, soon we will have to settle our onboard expenses ourselves. Interestingly enough, when you book your cruise, they send you only a link to pay with a description of your deal and after you have paid, the link expires straight away and you don't get any acknowledgement by email of what you agreed upon. Then, after a few days you get an email directly from the cruise line. The only email from the Cruise.co.uk apart from our messages with the agent, Tracy, containing links which are now expired, was an attached invoice, and even in that email they stated "You may notice that the cost shown does not match what you have on your Cruise.co.uk booking confirmation, however there is no cause for concern". Luckily, I saved screenshots of the payment page, though it is on my laptop at home, but as soon as I return home, I will raise a claim through ABTA against Cruise.co.uk. The amount is not really significant compared to the cruise price, but I hate to be cheated #cruise.co.uk #scam #cruise #travelagency #dishonestagent

Negative experience: Do not book with them. We had to cancel à cruise with more than a year in advance. A good chunk of the cruise turned out to be non refundable. The advisor on the phone lied to us by hiding additional "processing fees" on top of the base ones. All perfectly legal, all in their T&Cs. We should have paid more attention and "they got us". But do let them get you. I'm 30, I had a least 30 more years of cruising ahead of me. And I can tell you for sure that with such practices, they lost a client for life. I am never setting foot on a cruise with them again.
