Fantastic experience: Alhamdulillah I’m very satisfied with the service. This was my first time doing umrah and it was made easy. The hotels were very good with masjid al haram only 10 minutes away and masjid an-Nabawi less than 5 minutes away. Insha’Allah I will come with them again the next time I do umrah.

Fantastic experience: I have tried many Travel Agents in Luton (as this is where I live) and even used a company in London, who took £100 deposit and to be told it is non refundable and did not book my Umrah at all. Fly Uni made it seamless. Farhan has been brilliant and delivered what he had promised. It was me, my wife, and out 3 grown up children going to Umrah for the first time, we had time of our lives. All due to Farhan and his company. Transport was good and hotels were very good.

Fantastic experience: Flyuni and Mr Zafar were God sent for us cuz we couldnt manage to get saudi visa waiver processed through their website in UAE and neither were we able to get tourist visa issued due to some payment error. We almost cancelled our plans to travel to KSA in Ramadhan 2024 but then a friend recommended me to try before I change my plans and Alhamdulillah he managed to get the waiver done for us in 1 hr for four of us. Best ever service received ever by any agent. Highly recommend them and will be using them in the future for travel arrangements as well

Fantastic experience: Great agents. Have used them several times for Umrah group bookings, since 2014. Transparent communication throughout the booking process and during our stay. Aside from this, I have booked flights for a large group in an emergency, twice at short notice and we have been dealt with faultlessly. Where other agents would have taken advantage of our situation, we were well treated by Fly Uni and our flights were very reasonable. Mr Zafar Shahid is a trustworthy and a highly recommended agent. I have read other reviews and can safely say, some people expect the world but are unwilling to pay for the accommodation of their “expectations”. Saudi is much like anywhere else, if you pay the price, you can have a great hotel and all the luxuries and convenience. But if you pay for an economy package, that is what you will get. Remember the hotels in Makkah Sharif and Madinah Sharif, are probably the most frequented in the world, therefore they may not reflect the star standard of the rest of the world, due to the sheer footfall. As a guide, a Haramain 5* is probably the equivalent of a world wide 4*, unless you’re in one of the very newly built ones. Anything over 3/4 years old, drops a star. Bare this in mind when you book.

Who provided us with an absolutely brilliant cheap quote for 5 star services including direct flights with saudi airlines Kaaba view room and even a Haram view room in Madina. Transfers also included which was really good for reaching Madina within 4 hrs with young kids. Will definitely use again

Negative experience: I am leaving this review to help anyone who is planning to book with this company. I travelled with FLYUNI subsidiary which is IDEAL HAJJ AND UMRAH.Check the company house details. It is the same director (DR Zafar). We travelled as a group in February half term. Immediately at stansted the flight had been cancelled. I was told by mr TANZEEL (agent), that they would only refund me this single flight and nothing else and “I should check the flight status”. He took no responsibility for the fact that the airline cancelled all flights 2 days prior and we were the only ones at the airport expected to board their flight. We paid for our own flights using a different agent as IDEAL HAJJ AND UMRAH were not helpful at all. They refunded us £300 each for this cancelled flight. We paid £700 each using the alternate flights. Then once we arrived the Makkah hotel was not booked and we had to wait an hour for this. Madina is where the issues really started. The hotel was disgusting! Bed bugs everywhere. Damp everywhere. When I contacted TANZEEL (agent) or Dr Salem(co-director) and Dr Zafar. They were not supportive at all. Instead they said, you have booked a 3* hotel not 5* what do you expect? They actually advised me to complain to the hajj and umrah department in medina about THEIR HOTEL! We had a family with small children so we managed to get them an alternate hotel for 5 nights. This company offered us half the money to help once we threatened with legal action. However once I returned surprise surprise they negotiated this fee down. They are a COMPLETE SCAM. If you read this review and have paid a deposit, use the consumer act law to get a refund. If you continue with them then it’s solely on you. I promise you they will ruin your holiday and pilgrim. You can contact me if you want evidence as I have all photos and conversations recorded to share. I am writing this review to help people. Jazakallah

Negative experience: Customer service is very bad. I was in middle of my planning with them and after having my flight settled they started to increase the price for hotels. They did not even return my deposit. I requested to them about my deposit but they ignore. I had argue with them over the price and hotel after that they said they don’t have anymore hotel so I had to do hotels from somewhere else. I would recommend don’t give them deposit in advance.

Negative experience: I was about to book a package for umrah with them but some family problems came up and I had to cancel my plans. When I called the guy and told him the situation he started being rude and refused to refund the £100 package payment. Very poor service won’t recommend it.

Negative experience: Fly Uni is absolutely TERRIBLE. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS AGENCY FOR YOUR OWN SAKE. Do not be fooled. Was so excited to go Umrah, didn’t even feel like I was in a group, barely any information or guidance from them, rude staff overall. We were the first to look for the gates etc ourselves alhumdulilah, instead of doing it somewhat as a group which would’ve been nice. If you struggle with english/ navigation with airports, this agency and staff will be zero help to you. TEAM LEADER left us with no help as we got stuck at Istanbul airport due to the fly uni agency making a mistake with the visa. While being stuck at the airport, fly uni kept on ignoring our calls until someone from UK had to go to the agency in person. They said we cannot help, you this is not our problem anymore. Had to get a flight back from our own money and no accountability or apology and NO REFUND despite all of this being THEIR mistake.

Negative experience: We booked an Umrah package for 3 persons and had to cancel last minute. We made a successful claim from our travel insurance and received most of the cost minus £84 for each of the 3 passengers as this is refundable from the Airlines. However Saudi Airlines made it clear that it is up to the travel agent to file the claim as they do not deal with passengers booking thru a travel agent. TravelUni has not been answering our request to file the claim, leaving us with no alternative to seek redress thru the Small Claims Court. Customer Service is non existent if anything goes wrong. Beware... Update: FlyUni has finally agreed to refund 3x £84 for the Air Passenger Duty upon threat of Small Claims Court

Negative experience: Have been chasing up refund and issues regarding a holiday I was supposed to take in November 2021 and still waiting on airline refund! Customer service is non existent, they don't reply, leave messages on read. Avoid at all costs!

Negative experience: These people are so rubbish and unprofessional, it's my first time booking with them and I would never book with them again. Too much trouble. All I can say is stay clear of this Mickey Mouse outfit they call travel agent. Total stressful experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. Unprofessional, refuse to return calls, 10 plus errors in booking confirmation then wanted to charge for their mistakes. I can go on and on..... if i could give minus -10 even that would be to much of a rating!!!

Negative experience: I would avoid this company, they promised specific hotels and rooms and days before flight they realised they couldn't get any of the rooms we wanted and suggested lower quality rooms/ hotel and claimed it is was costing them more. We had a family which was separated by 20 floors in Mecca. They are very last minute and don't believe a word they say.

Negative experience: We have booked umrah from Fly Uni Ltd, Person dealing with us was Mr.Abbas, He is such a rude person don't have manners to deal with customer, he is not responding on time. whenever he answered our call said why you are disturbing me; What the Hell man!!! we paid for it you are not doing anything free for us. Negative experience: Please check the reviews before you book. It’s scam. Don’t book any umrah packages with Fly Uni Ltd , thy say hotel we booked he say it’s 10 minutes walk to huram when we checked online it’s was 2 hours walk, then we paid extra £252 (total 554 for 5 nights for 1 room for 2. We checked online the hotel prices was £400. Agent call Waqes and Zafar are main. seamer’s and they not even in the uk. Keep away from Uni Fly is scam scam scam.

Negative experience: My mother was unwell and I specifically asked them if they can get three people umrah visa on this exact day. And they said 100% yes with inshallah. So on the same day I paid 2500 deposit. Next day I give them all the original documents waited 10 days they said your biometric was not ok do it again we did it again. Then said two visas are done and one not. So the day wanted got passed and I said my mother have an appointment next month so we can’t go after our prefer date was passed. I asked for refund and the said now we will deduct the visa fees and flight cancellation fees. I said you didn’t give us the visa on the date we asked he it’s not my problem it’s embassies problem I got you the visa that’s it. The tickets he sent us was fake. I called the airline and said by these names no tickets have been booked. At the end they took our £850 from our deposit without sending any members our family on umrah. My au Allah give them their jaza for this. My dealing was done with in March 2022 I wrote the review late because my mother not well and I was busy.

Fantastic experience: Booked Umrah for my family and the person handling it was Abbas and he was brilliant. Sorted out us visas and hotels and transport. Once we got to Makkah there was an issue with hotel but Abbas sorted us out with a replacement immediately and the replacement hotel was even better!

Negative experience: Failing to understand how this company has been given anything over 1 star reviews. Went to Hajj with these guys before Covid and I don’t have words to explain how unprofessional they were. From the minute we got to Makkah, hotel rooms were not ready, and told to wait in our ihraams for another 8 hours before someone could come and guide us to do our first umrah. Hotels in both Makkah and Madina was NOT what was promised, it was a 1 star loud and proud ! For the money we paid, I can honestly say we were promised so much more but once there, what can you physically do. The rooms had cockroaches everywhere, and the stench coming from the bathroom was awful, and nothing was done by the group leader to rectify any faults even when asked. The food was awful but that was the least of the issues that there were. When questioned, the group leader stated ‘brother you have not paid premium prices you can’t expect a premium stay, but after asking other people who went Hajj that same year and what they paid, they stayed in at least 3 star hotels for the same amount of money (a 3 star hotel was promised but nowhere in writing). The only days that were well organised were the days of Hajj, everything else was awful, 90% of the group were absolutely disgraced by the whole experience. AVOID these lot at all costs, ask for reviews from someone who have already travelled with the group before you go. AVOID !!

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately we have had the news that hajj 2020 has been cancelled. I have dealt with fly uni since November 2019 when I made a booking with them. I must say that Zaffar brother has been so supportive and extremely responsive in answering all my questions. He also ,although sad to say, refunded my money immediately for the 2020 hajj which got Cancelled and notified me straight away when this was actioned. Inshallah will be definitely booking for Hajj and umrah with them again when Allah swt has given me the opportunity to do so. Negative experience: Please avoid, Me and my family booked an Umrah package with these guys, the agent dealing with my case was Ahmed Tanzil, the flights were cancelled due to Covid-19 and now they will not return my £6500. It took us so long just to contact them, they kept avoiding our phone calls. We are now having to go through court proceedings in order for us to settle this dispute despite Saudi airlines saying that they are issuing full refunds, Ahmed said we were only entitled to 40-50% of what we had paid. This is the first time that I have had to issue court proceedings against a company who won’t issue me my refund. My wife is a solicitor and I am an Audiolgoist working in the NHS. Very unprofessional on these guys. Avoid at all costs, spend your money elsewhere. Ahmed also tried to get me and pregnant wife to stay outside of the hotel for 12 hours before checking in, this may have been an attempt to save one night’s money even if we had paid, we decided against using them for our hotel and instead went elsewhere, judging by the previous comments from customers it seems that they do not act in a professional manner.

Positive experience: Brother Ahmed Khaliq has gone out of his way to match the price from others and provided a quick booking keeping me updated on process via email,whatsapp and I explained what was news of my family and chose for private transport all throughout ,umrah visa,5* hotels with bed and breakfast. Now just looking forward to our rah holiday this easter 2020 as planned by brother Ahmes and will further review InshaAllah on our journey and service. But so far booking going smoothly and have full trust brother Ahmed will look after us.

Fantastic experience: Used Fly Uni for Hajj 2019. An excellent service throughout the journey. The team in both Makkah and Madinah are amazing and they are always there for you. Just recently I used Fly Uni to book an Umrah tour for 13 people and again the service here in the UK and the service in Saudi Arabia was magnificent. Zafar, Tanzeel and Dr Saleem and the while team are true individuals whom provide an excellent service.

Negative experience: Company not to be trusted. Don’t deliver what they promise and don’t refund you when they promise! I have lost complete trust in some people who claim to be Muslims. I got my money back after a struggle and stress they put me through, you may not be so lucky! It looks like other people have had the same problem! Stay clear of the company, All the good reviews written by the staff!!

Negative experience: Please please do not trust. They dont give the right sevices they promise i was told i would get full transport which i paid on the day i was going they said they could only do transport from one leg and i paid for full transport. Please dont trust them.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service. Me and the family were served by Tauseef who was very accommodating to sudden changes to the schedule and was very welcoming. Our umrah and our residence in Makkah and Medina was so smooth and we didn't have a single hiccup along the way. Our experience with fly uni was absolutely amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better way to be able to experience the joyous moment of being able to see and take in the glorious Kaba. Negative experience: Where can I start from 2 agents gave ridiculous prices and the worst thing is over charging by 200£ on each ticket won't name shame the agents won't be recommending The agency in this day and age ppl are not stupid u ripping ppl off

Negative experience: Very bad service... you have to call and remind them each and every time that you are their customer Plus... they try to give the favour of waiving the visa charges without even realising that they have charged that already One more thing... make sure not to confirm your booking... they don’t even care if there is enough time span to make changes to the tickets... or else you’ll be charged extra so and so charges or you’ll be told that it’s non refundable... obviously they would not get their commission Would definitely not recommend anyone
